I have been a loyal and happy Apple customer for some years until now.
Like many, Everything I own is Apple.
I am not HAPPY with the Catalina upgrade and am sorry that I did not examine it before installing it,My iMac is a great tool for everything I do from communicating to business.Seems like the only way to return it to the original OS is to possibly loose my existing info.that goes back many years.
Apple support has been helpful but has been unable to provide a safe and easy method to return my iMac to it’s original OS.
Please do something to enable me to correct this problem.

Recently I sent in a 2013 MacBook Pro for a trade in credit. It was in excellent condition. The quoted trade in value from your website was $380. After Phobio inspected it I received an email that the “revised” value was $130 due to a bent chassis. So I refused that and the MacBook was returned today. Sure enough, the chassis is bent. It was not bent when I sent it to them. I cleaned and checked it before shipment and the chassis was fine. I also checked carefully to insure it was not warped. Unfortunately, I did not take photos of it before shipment because I trusted Apple. Please check the Better Businees Bureau’s Phobio page and you can see this is a common growing issue with your customers. I’m not asking any compensation because I have no proof, but please investigate this company.
Thank you,

I have been an apple customer for over 15 years and until recently have not had issues. However, my daughter recently experienced an issue with her iPhone 7 model experiencing the No Service malfunction. We brought it to the apple store, and after several hours of trouble shooting they were unable to get it working. They logged the device was in perfect condition and sent it off for for repair. I then received a call and they then told me the screen was cracked and I had to pay to get it repaired. I shared the tech report from the store showing it was in perfect condition and no screen cracks so instead of repairing it they gave her a refurbished phone at no charge. Initially I was happy. But now just a few months later that phone is literally coming apart the case is separating as if it doesn’t fit together. The battery won’t last more than a few hours. It is ridiculous that they supplied her with a broken phone. I am seriously considering switching my entire family and business off of Iphones and apple products after this lack of ability to stand behind product quality and replace phones with clearly documented system issues. I truly hope to hear from someone from apple and that they will correct this issue.

I am the Sales Manager and the Event Planner of Yellow Cab Arizona. My YC AZ Event Team and I are on point promoting our YELLOW CAB ARIZONA Smartphone Application (Mobile Knowledge – Taxi Hail) at bars/nightclubs, events, hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions, etc. throughout the State of Arizona

In addition, to the challenges of fighting off the Lyft/Uber “hordes” for marketshare, I have another dilemma. Our previous Software Dispatch Developer, MTData, has refused to remove the now obsolete YELLOW CAB AZ Application. The obsolete YELLOW CAB AZ application frequently shows up ahead of our current application, YELLOW CAB ARIZONA, causing confusion with our prospective customers.

MTData has refused to take down the YELLOW CAB AZ application after numerous requests. This is an act of vindication, because we did not renew the service contract with them and switched to Mobile Knowledge. Please advise on the best course of action to correct this App Store aberration.

Thank you,

I’m writing to you to report an incident that has happened with me. I had bought a brand new iPhone X around a month ago, and I’m a returning customer as I upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone X and have been using apple iPhones since the past 6 years. The phone started acting up and there was an approx 1.5cm wide fluorescent green line in the middle of the screen running across the length of the screen.

I visited the nearest unicorn store (address given below) to get it repaired:

Unicorn Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd.

Shop No.1, Ground Floor, Business Avenue,

Sanghavi Keshri Road, Near Parihar Chowk,

Aundh Pune – 411007

My main complaint was to get the screen repaired as there was no physical damage to the screen and this was also confirmed by the technician who was inspecting the phone. The technician stated that they’ll replace the screen as it’s still under warranty and it would take 5 to 6 hours for the repair work to be executed.

The technician carried out some preliminary tests and to my surprise the charging port also malfunctioned and would not charge the phone with the cable included with the phone. The technician at the Unicorn store used a different cable and the phone did respond and started charging up. At this point the technician stated that the only option was to send it to the Bangalore repair hub where they can troubleshoot the issue further.

At this point the primary issue (faulty display) was sidelined and the repair center was fixated on the charging port issue and to add insult to injury I was tutored Apple’s policies and yet was not even offered a loaner device which is also part of the same policy.

The technician stated that I as a customer have the right to escalate the support ticket once the phone makes it to the Bangalore repair hub and now after two days the technician stated that the phone can’t be repaired without giving me an option to escalate it or reason it out. Even though as mentioned above I was assured that I have the right to escalate it.

I hope my plea will be heard and I will be compensated for

A. Being a loyal customer to Apple

B. For giving Apple my hard earned and tax payed money and

C. For the mental trauma and the harassment that I have been put through.

All I was asking for is some sort of logical answer or information on a program that can fix this. I do not think it is right that you can’t send a document to a support person to look at and examine it in order to find a real solution. I am not blaming you for this. Please do not think it is directed at you. The phone calls were pushing me to go to store. Also, there is no way to have an apple store tech call you to advise in a professional manner. I do not believe making an appointment and dragging your iMac to the store is always the best use of everyones time. After all that is why there is a support number and chat available online. I guess I am just another customer. Anyway, That is all I have to say about this subject. Have a great day.

so after the fiasco with the Ipad Pro I bought my grandson for christmas,( the frame pulled away from the screen) and returned it yesterday and was told the limited warranty was still in effect however damage isn’t covered you have to buy a new one. So i did 700.00 later the same thing happened to the new one I bought. It is not damage it is defective.
someone needs to get back to me and make good on this.

carol hehir June 17, 2019 at 6:10 pm

I bought my 8 year old grandson an ipad pro for Christmas.
That was 6 months ago. The led screen is pulling away from the metal frame.
We took it to the apple store in Marlboro Mass. who preceded to tell us that it is covered under the limited warranty but not for damage.
This ipad was not damaged it was defective.
I have bought many many apple products for myself, my husband and my 7 Grandchildren what a disappointment that i now had to spend 700.00 to get him a new ipad.
This is not right!!

Apple – what a WORTHLESS organization! Great products, and they know it! ZERO clue as to ANY levels of Consumer Relations!
Org. chart structure where as they have a TON of robots answering with the same response with ZERO ability to resolve ANY Consumer issues! Their efforts, or lack thereof, surpasses that of AT&T if you can believe that is possible.

I pay for Apple Care, my phone would NOT turn on at all. I called in to apple care and they were very good at getting a box sent out, arrived in two days so I was able to send it away for repair, and if it was not able to be repaired I was to get a replacement sent to me. That was 8 weeks ago. I have been WITHOUT a working phone for 8 WEEKS. I have been trying to get a replacement sent to me and for some inexcusable reason APPLE has NOT been able to follow through with what they tell me. I have sent in my phone that does not work 3 times now and 3 times it has been sent back to me with a letter saying they were unable to fix it. WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SEND A REPLACEMENT. This is my ONLY means of communication, I do not have a landline, I have a child who in case of an emergency I would need to be contacted, and cannot be in this case. I have not been able to take pictures of my kid for the past 8 weeks, which I normally do on a daily basis. I don’t even know how many times I have told my story to how many representatives but it is way too many. I am sick of telling it and I should not have to tell it. The closest Apple Store is 6 hours away and it should NOT be up to me to have to drive to go and swap it out when Apple has told me multiple times they were sending me one in the mail. I realize I live in a rural community but this is ridiculous and I definitely expected better customer service from a company as big as Apple. I have been EXTREMELY let down and DISSAPOINTED and still have NO PHONE. BUT AM STILL PAYING FOR APPLE CARE.

Apple AirPods were out of stock everywhere in Chicago. I was excited to be in St. Louis and decided to try to get them there at the Galleria Apple store. They were out and said the West County store should have them. I had more to do in the Galleria, so we called west County store that directed us to Apple support. (This is frustrating to be sent to Apple support for general questions as well as the additional survey questions that are asked) West County had them in stock and encouraged us to order on the phone because it was so crowded in the store. This would avoid an hour wait. I gave all of my personal information including my credit card number. We were told that we’d get an email or a text in the next few minutes about the transaction and was given an order number to present in store. 30 min later I was heading to West County and had never received an email or text. 1st disappointment. I called West County store and got Apple support again. They couldn’t tell me if they had my order. They did not see it. I was put on hold for the 30 min drive and then said they were going to send my call to West County store. I told her never mind. I was now parking in that location. Disappointment #2. They couldn’t find the order at first. The salesperson went to a computer and did something for about 20 min. Then came to me and said he was calling Apple support. Apple support asked to speak to me. After 20 minutes of the same questioning, I was put in a “Brief 1-2 min hold.” After 10-15 min. w store salesman, he handed over his “support” to “Chester” who was as helpful as can be. Still on customer support hold on the phone for about 30 minutes with at least 5 “brief 1-2 minute holds”. That turned out to be another 30-40 minute wait. The young lady came back and said she found the issue and asked for my information again. Are asked to put me on another hold. I asked “Rock” to cancel my order and I would just purchase it in store. She said she emailed me a cancellation. I also asked for the original text or email that never came through. She said she’d send that as well. Here it is almost a week later I’ve got nothing! No original email, no cancellation email, no apology for my incessant wait! Being that this was done on a Sunday, I’m unable to access my bank account to see what has been charged. This is the most frustrating experience I have had with Apple. I had a person with me who uses Samsung and was thinking of coming over to Apple. She has since changed her mind. Almost made me switch over. Please be sure to send me the documentation of this day

Original email/text order that I placed via phone that I never received as well as the email that I never received to cancel my order

Dear Sir or Madam,

On Thursday, March 28th, credit cards were stolen from my friend and I while we were hiking in Las Vegas, Nevada. My car was broken into. Both personal credit cards and one company card was stolen. We were able to determine that the cards were used at the Apple Store at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas. I attempted to contact the store in hopes that there might be some sort of security video, etc., to help determine who used the cards. I attempted to reach the store and twice sat on hold for 25 minutes only to be disconnected. I finally decided that the only way I could reach someone was to call into Sales on the premise that I was buying a computer. I finally reached a live body but was told there were no managers for me to speak with. My only option was to send an e-mail to the store explaining what had happened and request a telephone call back. It’s now been almost a week and I have heard from no one. Even if nothing could be done, I would think it would be a courtesy to at least call me back, especially since I spent close to an hour just trying to reach someone to no avail. I’m guessing you will not do anything with this, however, I felt it necessary to let you now because, as you can imagine, I am certainly not very happy with the way I was treated by the Apple Store during a very stressful time. Thank you, Janet Goyer — 702-580-XXXX

I just read about the new Apple credit card with better consumer protection. I have a suggestion. There are millions of us whose data was compromised due to Equifax breach. As soon as I heard of the breach, I put a freeze on my credit. Good thing I did because in January I received letters from several credit card companies that I had applied for a credit card but due to a freeze on my credit the card could not be approved. Thank goodness. I found out from the companies that the application came from overseas. They tried multiple times to no avail. The problem is if I apply for the card it will be rejected due to the freeze on my credit. It would be helpful if on the online application there was an indication which credit bureau you use so I could get the freeze lifted temporarily. Thank you.

It really irritates me to no end that Apple is in not just in the business of selling iphones. They’re also in the CENSORSHIP business. I read today from the Heritage Foundations website that an app called “inconvenient facts” has been PURGED from the Apple store because it doesn’t match Apple Execs screwed up world view. The app refutes man caused “climate change”, using real science and real facts, not the BS everyone is being fed by the left. This app is however no longer available at the Apple store but is available on Android phones. THANKS APPLE!

I received an apple 3 watch for Christmas. I am a 62 year old woman who has had a Fitbit for years. I feel like my Apple Watch is only for athletes. I would like it you could do an update to these watches where we could set step goals. I don’t care about calorie goals or stand goals. Some of us just like to keep track of our steps and like to be encouraged by fireworks when we hit our goals and keep track of how far we walk per day, week, month year. I was very disappointed that I could not do this with my watch. I think the Fitbit verse is more ordinary people friendly. I do like the watch faces in this watch though.

Thanks Apple! Customer Support worked with me to resolve issues surrounding my iPhone 7 logic board failure and replacement. The customer rep went the extra distance to a fair and courteous resolution. I’m not surprised, and very happy.

John Marsh January 22, 2019 at 11:19 pm

I want you to know I’m very dissatisfied with Apple. I’ve been an iPhone user since the iPhone 3. But no longer. I’m self-employed and depend heavily on using my phone for logging mileage, notes, scheduling, and other business information in the calendar. I have been using this practice since the beginning. As of this tax year, I can no longer import “one year (all of 2108)” worth of MY data from the iCloud. This is extremely unacceptable. This data is MY data. I have escalated this to tier 2 support. And that’s where it stops with the final answer being we are sorry that’s Apple’s policy. Well, screw Apple!

Why are there 2 different versions of the iPhone 7? One has a Intel modem that is limited to 2 carriers and does not have CDMA technology and the other has a Qualcomm modem that can be used with all the carriers and has this CDMA technology. When I bought the iPhone 7 at the Apple store no one ever disclosed the 2 versions and I have now discovered I have the inferior version. I found this out when I bought a new X-R and gave my 12 year old nephew my 7 for Christmas. His parents took it to their carrier to discover it wasn’t compatible because of the modem and lack of CDMA technology. I called Apple care, escalated to tier 2 Apple Care to ask that they swap my inferior 7 with one with the Qualcomm modem so my nephew could use the phone. I was given all the sympathy in the world, but no resolution. As a matter of fact these customer care people didn’t know about the 2 modems. I further called Apple corporate and asked for Angela Arhendts office, Head of Retail and was routed right back to the corporate relations group I started with. Appearantly there is no way to get to Angela’s office as I tried several times and was very rudely transferred to the “Customer Care” unit that pretends to care, but no solution. I even found a Forbes article from October of 2016 detailing the difference and clear inferiority of the Intel modem. I wasn’t offered a better price if I bought the phone with the inferior modem, as there wasn’t even disclosure that they offered multiple versions of the same phone. I really felt my request to swap my 7 for a refurbished one with the superior modem was reasonable, but clearly not. I am also a stockholder and will be changing that. Clearly Apple will not stand up to providing lack of disclosure to their customers. Very disappointing!

My request is a simple one and I know you have heard this one before.CHANGE YOU TECH SUPPORT HOLD MUSIC! Its not that I don’t like the songs you have chosen for this feature. I like some of it very much. But not on my phone while I am on hold. It is a sound issue, not a music issue. A senior tech adviser yesterday told me that one in five people speaking to him have complained about the music to him. I ask any of you who read this letter to call a tech support person and have them put you on hold for a minute. I guarantee that you will see what is wrong. Then imagine being on hold for 3 to 10 minutes and having to hear that noise, regardless of the choice of music you make. Nuff said. I suggest offering simple ambient music that is quiet, has only one to three instruments, no voices. Research this matter. You’re Apple, after all. The company that gave us great music on a phone! Please fix this. Your customers will be happy and your techs won’t have unnecessarily annoyed customers waiting to speak with them. Please tell me if you have heard this complaint. I have made it many times and I really wonder if anyone reads this stuff.
Thanks. A loyal Apple guy

I purchased an iPad Pro 11” on 11/26 for over $1,300. Salesperson gave a $50 discount for being a veteran. Today if a person buys an iPad, you give 10% which would be additional $80 refund to me. I called customer service and the employee refused to give me the additional discount and said I can return the iPad, get a refund and buy another to get the 10%. Does that make sense to you? Apple would end up paying for shipping and now would have to sale the retuned iPad as used, losing money for both. I’ll gladly do that but it would be cheaper just to pay me the $80. Your suggestion doesn’t make good business sense. Can you help or shall I return this iPad?

What I would like to suggest to Apple is making a phone that when it RINGS it turns NEON RED, so people like me at my age could see it. Love Apple Great product. Thank you Apple.

Earlier today I went to the Apple Store located at 1 Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ 07652.

I was helped by a man named Hasan who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to resolve the software problem I was experiencing with my iPhone 6 quickly and he explained what happened and how to avoid any further problems. Thank you to both Apple and Hasan for your help.

GERRI B ROBINSON October 27, 2018 at 8:55 pm

You guys are really good at taking our money with smiles on your faces. But when there is a problem its hard to get someone to believe you. I’ve called in at least 14 times since I purchased the phone in August 2018, and I took my phone into the store and they ran test and say my phone is fine. I have been through hell with my iPhone 7 plus for the past 6 months. I just don’t know what to do anymore I’m so upset. $800 may not be much to you but for someone on a fixed income that’s a lot of money when 6 months after you purchase you start having problem with the volume going in and out. Your devices you use to test the phone just may not show everything that is happening to my device. My first iPhone was a 3 and I have been getting a new iPhone every 18 months or so. I cant imagine people saying they can’t hear me if they really can. I went into the Apple store today and they told me to buy a replacement phone since my warranty ended, how convenient for you guys. From the looks of it you don’t answer these messages anyway.

Arleen Volgamore October 15, 2018 at 12:01 pm

I downloaded the new IOS app Saturday night and my phone died, I went Sunday to the local Verizon store said we are not tecks have to go to Boise Apple Store. I am 77 years old and driving at least 30 miles to get there. It was busy had to wait an hour to be seen, which was ok. Mind you the warranty went off 2 days ago and had coverage with Verizon because I still owe on the phone. Finally a nice young man started working on it said it’s DEAD I said it’s only a year old can I have a new phone. He proceeds to a manager and quests what we cannot do anything, I’m sorry have a nice day. I left furious drove another 30 miles back to Verizon and in 2. Seconds ordered me a reconditioned phone. Will get it Tuesday. This is an IPhone 8 that cost me almost $700 dollars. Not happy with Apple and read all the reviews I see I’m not the only one.

Heidi gibbs October 14, 2018 at 2:30 pm

I bought my iphone7 a year ago. Since buying phone the phone has had to be replaced 5 times as never work. I have spent 100 hours on the phone with senior advisors that have lied to me, made promises to call me back, they never do and I was promised by a top senior Mac truck in Australia’s that he would call me back Saturday October 12 Los Angeles time at 11am and he told me he was not like any other apple employee. He told me he was going to tell me about getting compensated for the hundreds of wasted hours I’ve spent on the defective iPhone 7 that never hAs been able to work consistently .
I went to the century city store and Jason didn’t want to give me a new phone as he stated my phone was working in the store but of corse as soon as I left it couldn’t keep service. The company knows you have a defective merchandise on the market yet you do nothing except lie to customer. Jason lies and said he wanted to give new phone to me. No he said I had to go try it out and the manager of the store would call me the next day to see if phone was working. She did not call someone from apple who knew nothing called and I explained that I needed one more day as I was on my office WiFi but following day I told person who knew nothing but transferred me to La terrawho kept me on hold for over an hour then disconnected me and never called back but emailed me with her email. I called from my home phone 3 times and emailed 3 times never to have a return phone call and I haven’t had a working phone iPhone 7 and customer service has it all documented.
To sell bad product, to have customer service lie over and over, and make promises you do not keep is horrible business.
This company did same thing when sold me iMac with defective hard drive and replaced with another defective hard drive.
The company has horrible ethics , lies, and my opinion is corrupt business.
To do this to anyone is criminal and horrible and shameful.

Purchased a mac laptop august 2016. Did not buy Apple care. Computer quit working August 18. Issue keyboard failure cost to fix $449.00. The computer was in prestine condition according to the guy at apple and you can bet he disected the computer to f8nd us at fault somewhere. There was no abuse, no damage, no liquid spilled on it was not our fault it was that YOUR APPLE product failed. So disappointed in this company.

diane September 6, 2018 at 10:16 am

I bought an I Mac a yr ago. I have had multiple issues. I have called apple care.
I wasted money and time. Now I al I get is transferred and put on hold. the corporate number just gives another number and disconnects.

Terrible price. The apple store. is loud and poorly staffed.
Apple care won’t help any more, I should just cancel it. I just get transferred and put on hold. The system is DEFECTIVE r3place it ! Cut the diagnostic crap!

Heidi gibbs October 14, 2018 at 2:33 pm

Apple care is full of liars and people whom have zero ethics and morals and do not know anything about customer service. They sound like a bunch of teenage punks wasting consumers money and time. That’s my experience any many people I have spoken to

Mike m September 4, 2018 at 11:18 pm

So apple via the app store sells iap items that do not work for some mobile users. Turns out i i spent over a thousand dollars on items that can not work for me and i found out why. Math random used in javascript was not intended for rng purposes and also does not work with some mobile devices like my new ipad. All my apps have no luck at all at the same time. I have contacted apple support and they are not allowed to commment on this bug. I guessing many thousands of players think they have horrible luck when its the device and the app having this bug. Appple just took my. Money and handed over to devs and i never Most ofnwhat i paid for.. a couple of apps gave me freebies to make up for it. But most would not respond to my request for dialogue. You helped rip me off apple.

My new iPhone X, purchased at Best Buy on August 3, 2018 failed. Neither Best Buy in Downers Grove Illinois or the Apple store in Oak Brook Illinois would exchange the phone and my BRAND NEW PHONE WAS SENT FOR REPAIR!!!! I am angry and disgusted with Apple products, the fact it was purchased at another retail store and not an Apple store should not matter at all! When it fails and can not be opened and is under 30 days old, no water or physical damage just FAILS it should be replaced! I will never buy another single overpriced Apple product again and will let everyone know how I was treated.

Marina Castellanos August 24, 2018 at 9:46 pm

2 weeks ago a relative was manipulated over the telephone by a scam artist. This resulted in the purchase of large sums of money (under duress) in Apple gift cards under the false assumption that the government considers money placed in Apple cards safe, and refundable. I want to know who to speak with about executing a company policy for educating consumers of Apple cards that the US government would NEVER conduct any kind of business like this?Unfortunately, people are being victimized often in this manner. I can not believe this doesn’t raise red flags to Apple associates to confirm that consumers are not being defrauded. Policies need to be in place at Apple to protect the public.

Hello All.
I’m an African American. I would like to know. In the emoji’s. How come I can change the color of almost every person emoji BUT when it comes to the family emoji. It has to stay with light people with blonde hair. Apple needs to change their hardware or people with any color other than light with blonde hair needs to find a different phone AND stop patronizing this company. If they can have it that all the other emoji’s could be changed. The family emoji should be able to be switched to however your family is. That’s how I see it.

I’m concerned about the XXXXulative radiation exposure young people are receiving and how this will contribute to their overall cancer risk. I’m 64 and my young 13 yo grandchild carries his phone with him always. In part because my daughter and son in law want to be able to reach him when he’s outside playing. For them it’s almost a safety tracking device as he’s given more freedoms as he grows and with good behavior. Personally I wish this technology was never invented but then I’m writing this from my iPhone gifted by my family. Where I hold you accountable Tim Cook and Apple, Inc. is on your failure to adequately warn consumers of the risk and for not doing enough research on this topic before cleverly ingraining the perceived need for your devices in the heart and soul of nearly all humanity. Shame on you and your greed. How about a campaign to raise awareness of XXXXulative radiation exposure and how about investing in research around cancer risk and using your product ? Greedy Tim Cook, let me just say that you disgust me.

Kertrina Joshua August 7, 2018 at 2:52 pm

Mr. Cook,
After calling Apple numerous times and speaking with your sales associates. I was asking about a bulk order. Myself and a few other parents were inquiring about purchasing six mac books, 6 apple watches, and air pods. Kids are going off to college and we’re trying to get these things at a discounted rate – because they are really expensive! And as you know all young people today only do Apple! However, the sales person stated that they could only give me 10% off. I think for the amount of merchandise we are ordering Apple can do whey better than 10%. Please advise! Thank you!

Kertrina Joshua August 12, 2018 at 7:50 am

I sent this email on Aug 7th. Please respond.

Shame on #Apple Care!!!! My daughter watch cracked and was returned to Apple for repair. They received the watch and never took the hold off my money since July 4. Larry has provided EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE trying to help me. I can’t believe it’s a month later and a credit has still been pending for release. This is absolutely ridiculous that it has taken one month and counting to figure this out. SHAME ON CEO Tim Cook, Senior Vice President Katherine Adams, Angela Ahrendts, Eddy Cure,Craig Federighi,Dan Riccio, Phillip W. Schiller, Johnny Srouji, Lisa Jackson, Tor Myhren, Deirdre O’Brien, John Giannandre, Senior Operating Officer Jeff Williams, and Chief Design Officer Jonathan Ive. This is not a company I would want my name associated with this company. I am Extremely disappointed and disheartened by such poor service that your company has provided me with. Lastly, I would like to thank Larry for taking the time out to figure out why this situation has yet to be resolved. I’m sorry I couldn’t rest with this any longer. Apple prove me wrong and correct this problem. Santo Crivera

Anna Crivera August 6, 2018 at 1:07 pm

Update::: thank you Nadia from Apple for all your assistance and patience. I appreciate all the time that you spent with me to resolve my situation. You rock!!!!

My case number 100598011351 7/27/18
I havebeen unable to solve my problem with your technicians as they are unable to deviate
from your established protocol in regard to my unusual situation. I acquired an old Ipad
from my partner who died 11/29/14 suffering from dementia or Alsheimers and did not remember his password. I didnt bother all these years since I didnt need the ipad. Now
my granddaughter (13 Years) wants to use it. I am told I need a death certificate and legal doXXXXent to access the password. And there is no one to provide a legal doXXXXent.
It twill cost $65 for a death certificate, and I dont even know if the ipad is workable. Also I am a 84 year old senior on a limited income I cannot
pay for a death certificate for a questionable product despite my granddaughter’s pleas.
Why are your rules so intractable? Unless you notify me otherwise within 10 days I will
throw the ipad out and disappoint a child!

how can apple add 1-844-284-XXXXX as an announcement worldwide to let people know they are scams, using Apple as a backdrop to get people to get their phones and/or ITunes accounts fixed, but in all actuality they are taking the ITune numbers for themselves.

lOUISE December 30, 2017 at 11:20 am

It has been weeks and hours spent on the phone, emails, and messages left.
iTunes last update screwed up the website. I cannot burn cd’s. When I try and burn a playlist, the program burns a completely different playlist. There are other issues with the latest update. The so called “engineers”, I was told, are working on this issue and was told they would call me. Wrong. . I requested that I could switch back to the earlier version but was told that could not happen. I was also told to use another site to burn a cd. However, the tech I spoke with had me uninstall 2 programs. Now I’m stuck with Windows Media Player. SO THE 9 CD’S THAT WERE USED WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH CUSTOMER SUPPORT THAT DID NOT WORK, TO BURN AND KEPT COMING UP WITH THE SAME ERROR, I’M MAILING TO THE CEO TIMOTHY D. COOK AND ASKING FOR A REFUND. I’M SURE THE CEO WILL PASS ALONG THE MAILING TO AN UNDERLING TO HANDLE.

Angel September 12, 2017 at 1:41 pm

Angel Vasquez
Chelsea, MA 02150

To Whom It May Concern at Apple INC. My name is Angel L. Vasquez I am a 46 yr. old, three-time stroke survivor, from Chelsea Massachusetts. In 2016 I began having strokes, two affecting my left side and one on my right. In that time, I was in a program for my alcoholism, and thank “GOD” I am going on two years clean.

October 30th is my clean date. While in the program I also got divorced, from my 14-year relationship. I struggle from type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure. Doctors say that strokes might be effecting me due to family jeans, from my mother who passed away from a big stroke at the age of 49. I am waiting for my disability to have an income to obtain an affordable apartment. When I had my second stroke I was handed my divorce papers as well. It has been an awful last two years for me all these health, family issues and now being homeless, no matter what I just keep attending meetings and praying for that sunshine after the storm.

All my beats by Dre studio, and I touch, are broken from wear, and tear, or from dropping them due to my disability. It’s hard to put on the headphones because of my pain and stiffness after stroke. All your products are the best and all I use is Beats by Dre and Apple products. I have no way of getting my receipts for these devices because they are at my ex-wife’s house. I wanted to see if APPLE can do me a huge favor and help me out by giving me a pair of Beats by Dre ear buds, and a cheap old refurbished IPod, it doesn’t matter the condition as long as I can have music. I wish I can go to work and pay for my own devices but my disability doesn’t let me. If anybody can help me out with a donation on refurbished used or new products I will gladly accept them.

I hope you can look at my story and see that my situation is legit enough to help me out with this request. I remain at your disposition for any questions.
Angel L. Vasquez

Dear Corporate;
I am a 67 yr old women and about as tech savvy as a rock. We where on vacation for our 50th anniversary and I woke up the 16th of Aug. with the message on the phone saying..Phone locked! I didn’t have a clue why. long story short I have now been without a phone for almost a month. I have been involved with customer service ; they needed IMIE the phone. Of course I had forgotten my Apple ID because I never use it. It may be in my phone which I can’t access. Reasons, some IPhone 4 used find my phone and then it was locked. I don’t have an I phone 4 or do I know anyone that does. I physically have my phone. It wasn’t lost or stolen and all I have been doing is sitting on the phone answering all questions that took 2 days out of my life. Was promised I would have service by today and it is now tomorrow. I have been driven nuts over this. I hate how you have so much power that you can disable a phone that I own, forget the security crap I proved I lhave the phone, but it doesn’t work.

Michael Hass August 23, 2017 at 12:27 am

Is it true that Tim Cook is going to give $2 million+ to Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), an organization linked to an act of terrorism against members of the conservative Family Research Council? Most (if not all) of the “hate” groups you want to fight and claim are on the right, are actually Socialist (communists, XXXX’s, black lives matter, Antifa, Islam and others) and on the left! The left is full of Anti-American, Socialist bigots. Having respect for all people is a better way to go. Most people want to live their lives and be left alone. The fringe causes problems for everyone with Corporate support.

Zhilin Yu August 20, 2017 at 8:41 pm

I am nerve so disappointed for a electronic product like the iMac I got two months ago. I was waiting for one hour by phone to try to talk with a tech advisor to apply my Apple ID on new iMac. Finally I got answered but the girl told that she has not the authority to activate my ID on my new machine and suggested me waiting for another hour to get reply from her boss. This is how the Apple employees work in China. I could envision that Apple is losing their market in China, even in the world. How terrible technical support is!

Tim, I don’t care if you are a homosexual. But lying about the number of jobs your apps created in the US? Do you really think people are that dumb?!!

Move the factories back to Colorado Springs and Sacramento. The ones you closed around 2004 when you decided to have communist slave labor ($250/week for 80 hours of work) build your products.

All that a** kissing of the COmmunist Chinese isnt’ going to work. In the end. Your f**ked!

elle green April 5, 2017 at 10:46 pm

i wonder if anyone from apple even reads these comments!

elle green April 5, 2017 at 10:44 pm

I am getting really tired of having to give my name, weight and height to every company i speak to. I called AppleCare about a problem and i get this robotic voice giving me her spiel.
and then the questions: name rank and serial number.
ya know what: sometimes i just have a simple question. Do we have to go thru the entire routine every time?
Do you really need to know my email address and phone number?
And, the wait times have gotten much longer.
Not so happy with apple.
Are they becoming like every other ugly corporation in America????

Gerwin Klein March 21, 2017 at 11:39 pm

Hey apple, you opened a kernel development shop in Kanata and hired Collin Burgess to run the kernel group. Are you nuts he is a posing stooge who can’t write a kernel to save his life.

Phil February 8, 2017 at 8:47 pm

I recently went through a very long and frustrating experience with Apple that cost me a large sum of money, countless hours on the phone, stress, and at times very poor customer service. I had a senior advisor offer me a settlement that I do not feel is adequate. Can someone please tell me where I can turn to get someone that will listen and is higher up than the senior advisor I have talked to previously?
Thank you,
Phil Trupo

When I purchased my one to one card for $100, I was told that it had no expiration date. I have never used it, believing that it would be there when I finally scheduled time to come to the store with my questions.

During my last visit to the store, I was told that the program was discontinued. Since I received no value, I would like a refund of my $100, or at the very least, an alternative product of credit for the value of my purchase.

You guys are really good at taking our money huh? I have been through hell with my iphone 6 plus for the past 3 days. I went online and chatted with 3 of your techs in which the last one told me the steps to the TOUCH DISEASE which I have stated to them and after backing up my data and restoring it, my phone shutted completely off!!!! I am so upset that it happened and spent an additional 3 hours on top of the 2 hours of tech support on my own to force the restart until my screen came back on. I already told them its the touch disease and are they not trained well enough to know that its a problem with the motherboard? The design flaw itself is the problem! I came into the Apple store today and they told me to buy a replacement phone since my warranty ended, how convenient for you guys. i dont care if they are offering half the price of my phone, the problem is with your motherboard, I should not have to pay for your design flaw. I have owned several Apple devices throughout the years and I cant believe you guys cannot own up to your mistakes and fix the issues instead of focusing on making more money off your loyal consumers. I rather save that money for my soon to be born baby and use an old flip phone then buy another one when its nothing I did to the phone. In the past ,I would go in and pay for my phones to get fixed without complaining because it was my fault but this is not, its ridiculous and I will make sure that my family and friends know about this!!!!!

This is my case number: 100027676688

Jamieson Benton July 2, 2016 at 3:32 pm

Dear Corporate Gurus,
You have an employee who deserves the utmost recognition and praise for her commitment to providing the absolute best experience I have ever had with a company, even AFTER she tells me that i-Tunes Match lost over 2000 songs from my music library. This case was handled by over 10 support staff that came up short with their promises to help me resolve the issue I was having wherein my computer would not “add” i-0tunes match upon resubscribing, costing me the over 2000 songs that were in the cloud that were lost as a result of the “add my computer” problem I was having. Even though I am still upset about the music; Tamara, made a devastating situation to me something positive. And I’m NOT an easy guy to please. I suffer from PTSD and music is literally my lifeline. But the way she treated me after getting the cold shoulder from numerous other support staff, I FELT SIGNIFICANT, and thats more important than any song thats catalogued somewhere. Tamara actually gave a damn when In the beginning I was giving her every reason not to as i was very angry and upset. PLease review my case history as it’s quite voluminous, and please thank Tamara for being on Apple’s team. She too, needs to know that she is SIGNIFICANT.

RE:CASE # 1146286048
Dear Tamara,

Thank you for your response and due diligence. I kinda figured as much hat the music was a loss.
I want to Thank you for your professionalism and attention to detail. You are truly an invaluable asset to Apple Support. Your commitment to handling my case and seeing it through to the end is exactly why I am staying with Apple and despite my having lost so much music, I do know for a fact that if anything could be done, It would be. I was very discouraged at the onset of my support case, having been shuffled around to numerous tech support and customer support staff who didn’t stand by their encouraging words that they would get back in touch with me and that my case would receive a higher than normal priority. My final attempt before giving up on Apple was the call you answered and I must say that you handled my being very upset with decorum and grace, allowing my grievance to be heard without interruption and when I was done you were sincere and empathetic to my situation and for the next 4 hours you made me feel like the most important client you’ve ever assisted. And, today, this email comes and normally I would be upset. But rather I am quite honored to have had this level of care from a Gigantic Corporation like Apple that is successful because of individuals like YOU.
Have a wonderful holiday weekend and THANK YOU for being YOU!

Three points: 1) I realize we are a drop in Apple’s ocean. 2) The answer to the conflict regarding the terrorist phone was too simple: extract all information and pass it to the government without revealing the techniques. 3) Tim Cook’s involvement in partisan politics is a complete turn-off for me. The laptop replacement I need now will certainly not be an Apple product. For all Apple’s product brilliance management is sure weak at handling the “ground balls”.

Tim Cook should be fired for his un-democratic efforts against millions of voters(customers) during this political season.
I guess your lack of support against terrorism spoke volumes.
Your company has no problem doing business with dictatorships all over the earth including China, but taking sides against Americans you don’t agree with.
shane on you!

Barb February 6, 2017 at 4:22 pm

I so agree with you. Apple no longer has my business

eduardo gardin June 27, 2016 at 8:46 am

Your company has taken sides during this election.
Both Republican and Democrats use you product.
By opposing the Republican candidate who has being voted for by millions of Americans your company is openly alienating a huge portion of your customers.
I will be working towards making sure that everyone I come across knows about your actions and stop supporting your business.
To begin with, I will be looking towards other products and working hard at asking others to do the same

Karen Booth June 27, 2016 at 8:42 am

Dropping your stock and products. Going back to Samsung. I think your announcement will be great for Samsung!

Al Booth June 27, 2016 at 8:39 am

Will not support Apple’s decision to back Hillary. Will go back to Samsung! Great news for Samsung! I think it’s a great service your CEO did for their competition. Go Samsung!
No relation to the other Al Booth.

eduardo gardin June 27, 2016 at 7:40 pm

For me it is not the fact that of the support of Hillary which is a personal choice.

Al Booth June 27, 2016 at 8:34 am

Will not buy another Apple product! Just a conservative! I don’t believe we’re a match up after the announcement of supporting Hillary! Going back to Samsung! I think this is great news for Samsung!

Karen Booth June 27, 2016 at 8:31 am

I just bought a new iPad Pro and the stylus from Apple. Just yesterday received it but haven’t opened it yet. I will be returning it and the stylus because of Apple supporting Hillary! I’m just a conservative and I think you want Liberals to buy your products. Also have some Apple stock. No more, dumping that today! Back to Samsung for this family.

Kenneth O June 19, 2016 at 6:20 pm

Nice to know how you only show what you want here..another reason not to buy Apple..ill still get out the word..even more motivated now

Kenneth O June 19, 2016 at 4:10 pm

Just a note to Apple… Obviously you have decided that you no longer need to sell your products to conservatives. By throwing your financial assets behind one candidate & withdrawing it from another you clearing draw a line indicating which customers you want & which ones you don’t care about. Free enterprise is wonderful and creates giants of industry that once they reach a certain level..feel they can bully their way through & place influence in areas they are definitely not experts.
I love Apple Products and pretty much use them xclusively . This will no longer be the case & I will discourage others from purchasing anything associated with Apple.
I take comfort in declining IPhone sales…& with the problems China gives your company . I will take pleasure with a new administration that forwards you the burden of supporting a welfare system you encourage by building your products out of country with basically modern-day slave labor…

eduardo gardin June 27, 2016 at 9:50 am

Thank you, Kenneth O.
Good to see that others are aware of Tim Cook’s dislike of conservative customers and their ideas, and his willingness to alienate them and their FREEDOM of CHOICE.
We should organize against Apple’s efforts against us.

Barb February 6, 2017 at 4:13 pm

I’m really glad to see others feel this way. I own 6 iPads and 4 iPhones and Apple TV after reading that they support the ban against President Trump to let immigrants in NO LONGER HAVE MY BUSINESS. These companies need to start worrying about the American people. Homeless vets who fought for their freedom, hungry children, homeless families. But no they are only protecting their cheap work labor. No longer. I will discourage all my family and friends never to use apple products again. The Apple TV smashed into little pieces. I will give my business to another company.

On Friday, May 27th, 2016, I had to take my phone to the Beachwood, Ohio Apple Store because it wasn’t charging. After spending almost two hours there I receive a text later that day that I was over on my data plan with Verizon. I use very little data and was shocked. After spending an hour calling Verizon, come to find out that while resetting my entire phone because of a “software” issue, they used my data and caused an overage. Now, when I receive my Verizon bill I have to call them back as they did put a note on my account allowing me more data and will remove the overage charge. I am very disappointed that this happened and caused me so much time and aggravation! This is just wrong!

I cant believe opening that terrorist phone is even a issue He gave up his citizenship when he decided to do what he did and get associated with the enemy I will never buy a iPhone again went back to android Samsung phone when I seen Tim Cook defending the terrorist by not doing as the government asked And since when a American co who has there phones made in china because of cheap labor then charge a arm and a leg here for them Why do they think there above the law and since they wont open the phone I hope the next terrorist act doesn’t kill any of the Americans that don’t support Apple I hope it never happens again But we all know it will I think they should be preying it doesn’t affect there family members

Patricia Davidson March 18, 2016 at 9:36 am

Thank you Tim Cook for being committed to our privacy

Geraldine Smith February 23, 2016 at 7:39 pm

I sincerely hope Apple does not give into the governments demands and law suits to allow them to unlock the iPhone. I personally doubt there is anything on the phone that cannot be uncovered in another manner. The way the government is going about this is most suspicious.

As we all know once the government gains access to personal information or a way to gain access to personal information they do not hesitate to use the method in whatever manner and way they decide. Unfortunately our law enforcement and government officials cannot be trusted.

If the iphone really had information that may help stop further terrorist attacks then it would seem prudent for them to take whatever method possible to obtain that information. To waste time in the courts sounds more like a pissing contest and not a real problem that needs to be resolved.

Has Apple offered to take the phone and download or extract whatever information the phone may contain? If this were a “real” problem and the government felt the phone actually had viable information wouldn’t one think the government would work with Apple instead of antagonizing the situation and filing suit.

Please do not give up the fight. Once they have access we are all at risk of invasion of privacy with or without a warrant.

Thank you for your persistence.

Good morning,
I am writing to the executive office in regards to my chat experience, and the way I was handled. I chatted with the Apple sales associate Holly that could be found through my apple account I couldn’t grasp why I didn’t get approved to lease a Gold Mac Book, I am a student, and I work full-time, and I have other credit cards approved through other banks, so why wouldn’t I get get approved through your bank or for a Barclay credit card? So when I chatted with Holly she said basically she cant help me, I am a Student, you guys have a student program, I told her that I have a lot of apple products including the new iphones and new apple watches 2 of each, so I bring business to apple, so I told told her that I would take my business else where, she failed horribly when it comes to retaining the customer, her reply okay have a good day, left me as a customer hanging out to dry, no help!!!!! she reminds me of those verizon characters, never take time to care for the customer, people like Holly give Apple a bad name!!!!!! and I am a student, that tried to get help, and do the student program!!!!! that apple offers, but got handled rudely!!!! I am not satisfied with Apple because of Holly!!!!

Hello, I have an iPhone 6 and an iPad mini when I woke up Friday morning they were both hecked into. My phone is in activation mode and the iPad is in lost mode with a message in Russian. I have spent hours on the phone with Apple care support and about six hours at the Apple Store and no one can help me . I am basically told that I might not be able to use my phone or my iPad ! What am I suppose to do ? I do not have 1200$ right now just to go and replace these deviseces . How come Apple can’t fix their own product? I drive long distances to work, I need my phone for emergencies and safety issues.

Dear sir,

Apple devices currently have a feature that automatically upgrades IBook content initially purchased on a first generation IPad, to a format compatible with later generation IPhones, or other Apple devices – BUT NOT WITH THE ORIGINAL IPAD! The conversion occurs when the customer opens the IBook app on the later gen IPhone (in my case it was an IPhone 5c) and clicks on one of the books displayed in the IBooks Library. The conversion, which is completely transparent to the customer, occurs without a warning, and subsequently makes the selected book unavailable on the customer’s 1st gen IPad. As a result of this feature, I lost over $50 worth of books which I purchased on my 1st gen IPad using the IBook app. Because 1st gen IPads are not upgradeable, Apple does not have any technical remedies for the problem, nor can they supply me with replacement books (no replacements are in a format compatible with my non upgradeable 1st gen IPad). The IPad in question was purchased second hand in 2013, as were the lost books. Then in 12/2014 I purchased the IPhone 5c, which triggered my current problem.

Because I am 80 years old with vision problems, reading several hundred pages of books on an IPhone screen is not an option.

I brought the matter to the attention of:
– 29th St. Boulder CO Apple store personnel
– At least 7 Itunes customer support people(recommended by Eric , the Apple Store manager) all of whom sympathized, apologized, and empathized with my situation, but adamantly refused to reimburse me for the cost of the lost books or replace them with copies compatible with my 1st gen IPad. See Cases 856421528, 939396769.

A couple of these people deserve special mention! Senior rep, Sue, associated with case 856421528, promised to look into the issue and get back with me. That was over 1 month ago. To date, I haven’t heard from her – even though I emailed her and reminded her of her promise. Customer Service rep AmberL (case 939396769) informed me that had I backed up the content in the IPad’s IBooks Library per the product’s Terms and Conditions, the loss would never have occurred. Subsequently I returned to the 29th St. Apple store, and asked the “Genius Rep” to show me how to perform the backup operation using my 8 year old Acer tablet computer. She replied that it was not possible to do so.

I feel that Apple customer support personnel deliberately mislead and stonewalled me, hoping that I would just go away with the explanation “That’s our policy”

I have never before had such an abominable customer service experience!

Additional points that I would like to emphasize:
– The automatic upgrade of the ebook content on my iPad occurred without any warning (no pop up screen warning that opening the ebook on the IPhone might have consequences on other devices)and without my permission
– In your IBooks Terms and Conditions there is absolutely no disclosure about this automatic upgrading feature and the measures that one must take to avoid the problems I encountered.
– As a customer, I expect product reliability. When I open an ebook that I have purchased using the IBook app on my IPad, I expect to see the text of the book on my IPAD screen – not a blank screen.

Does the automatic upgrading feature represent an engineering flaw for which Apple is responsible, or does it represent a planned obsolescence strategy, designed to make customers replace their old IPads with more current models? If it’s the latter, I think Apple has lost its moral compass!!

Although I reached an acceptable settlement in this matter ($58 for the lost IBooks content) after I advised Apple Store personnel that I was going to share my experiences with Consumer Reports Magazine, Wall Street Journal, and AARP, I am deeply disturbed – both by a feature for which Apple fails to take any responsibility, and by a totally unacceptable level of support . As a long time Apple customer (bought a Performa in the 90s and experienced superb customer support) I had associated your company with product reliability and corporate integrity. In a speech that Tim Cook gave, he asserted that at “Apple, we are in business to empower and enrich our customers’ lives. We strive to do business in a way that is just and fair”. Such corporate values were nowhere in evidence among your support personnel. Indeed, their performance effectively contradicted the values and integrity that Cook proclaimed.

Pepai Whipple January 13, 2016 at 6:34 am

I totally understand your frustration, I too am experiencing the same type of customer service support from Apple. I wanted to upgrade my business and purchase an iPad air2, wanted to put my contacts on new iPad from iPhone and Heather told me everything to do and I repeated every pop-up & confirmed with her what to do and whamo all my contacts gone. There is no way to get them back because she failed to see when my last back-up was done and didn’t do one prior to a sync, she insisted they should be on my phone which they are not then told too bad nothing is going to fix it. I run a business all my clients emails, phone numbers, etc., banking, retirement account information, passwords, suppliers, addresses ALL GONE! POOF! This happened 1-11-16. Heather told me she was a technical support supervisor and there is no one I can talk to above her, there is no one else who can do more than her. If Apple really wants to know about Heather they need to listen to their recorded conversations and they will find out how bad things are and they are paying incompetent technicians to lose business. I called back and another tech is trying to restore to a backup but then the backup disappeared so off to Engineering complaint to try and fix. In the meantime I’m spending days, not hours, trying to fix this problem and keep my business a float and myself. My conclusion is I didn’t need to put my contacts on my IPad after all cause I’m not using it to place calls just thought it would be nice to have information readily available there………if I would have had help to realize it sooner. Two years ago I went through hours cause my backup was lost then….. So I may just go to different technology cause when Apple screws up it isn’t ever good, especially for us older people who really depend on devices.

Pepai Whipple January 13, 2016 at 6:45 am

After reading all the complaints I’m giving the rep tomorrow to fix my problem and if she can’t I’m returning the three IPad air2’s I bought, one for myself, my daughter and my son. I just can’t stand the thought of spending this much money on products that can wipe out contacts in a second and having it done by a technical support person. WHY? My whole family works for AT&T on top of it!

Question to marketing: Why is Apple not marketing one of the most important features on IOS 8. Medical Emergency Info —to more first responders, Hospitals and other Emergency res-ponders. What a shame. Apple built in Medical Emergency App.

We recently have had first hand experience. My Grandson was found in his college parking lot, his car door open, holding on to a post and incoherent. You can imagine the first responders thoughts. However he was able to hand them his iphone, with all med info that had just been load 2 weeks before. Noting his Asperger s all of his meds, panic attacks etc. , A quick call to Mom 2 hours away, and the hospital emergency room , quickly determined, from her input they where dealing with a severe med interaction. A few hours of treatment and he was released back to college dorm. Consider the time lost without info in the Med App. Our whole family has now uploaded the info. Especially this 77 year old Grandpa. But what value if we do not have first responders that do not know to look for info on iphones.

Just a thought, and a personal note to thank you for the iphone app.
Or perhaps I just do not see the notices in the offices , training rooms, and emergency medical rooms. PS. If nothing else think of the commercial value of having the name Apple on all of the Apple Medical App information. yes I am aware of other medical apps, but they are not Apple, on the Apple Iphones.

I bought an Apple Watch the day they came out. I also have all apple products such as iPhone iPad & etc. On 9/9 I took my watch to the Apple Genius Bar and showed them that the touch screen intermittently did not work. As per my work order, the Apple rep stated that she replicated the problem while I was there. Went in today to pick up my watch and was told that Apple did not find anything wrong with my watch and just sent it back. Now they say they can’t replicate the problem so there is nothing they can do. I am sent home with a watch that I know is going to act up again. So much for Apple reputation of pleasing customers. They refused to exchange my watch for another. APPLE SUCKS!!!!

Absolutely disgusted with the attention I have received Spain, my phone is just over one year old, and as we do not have an official representative of APPLE on the island of Minorca we have to contact your support by phone. I have been told different things by one agent and another, and finally have been told that my phone has humidity inside it, I have never had my phone near one single drop of liquid, so the agent told me it was probably due to the climate. I have been offered a new 4S for the price of 190€uros, after paying out more that 400Euros for a phone last year.,which according to your policy is still under guarantee. I shall never again purchase anything made by APPLE, I feel gutted. Just thought you would like to know how your service works in SPAIN

elisehope August 25, 2015 at 3:28 pm

Been an apple user for over a decade: iPad, iPhone, mac.
I have gotten used to the high prices of the devices, but when my daughters charging cord for her Air laptop stopped working after 14 months, i was outraged at the price.
I paid $79 for a charger!!!!! This is insulting and I do not appreciate being price gouged.
Besides that when she went to a store to check out this problem she was told there is a 6 hour wait for genius. Meanwhile, dozens of employees stand around waiting to sell sell sell. She came up with the idea of testing to see if the problem was in the cord vs laptop and asked to use one of the cords laying around. Do you not pay these people to think??

Cameron Terrafranca August 21, 2015 at 10:25 am

A few short days ago the unthinkable occurred with my phone. Can you guess what happened? That’s right an accidental drop occurred that cracked my screen in multiple locations. My first attempt was to make an appointment at Apple to determine what my options are in terms of repairing and or replacing the phone as soon as possible as it is a required item for someone who works a job that is ” On-call 24-7″. I was unable to make an appointment online therefore I called Apples customer service line to look for assistance. It turned out there was a terrible storm out causing issues with the appointment system and phone calls so my call was disconnected. Within thirty-seconds I received a call back from an employee Kandice Baxter. I have to say customer service at Apple was fantastic from this point on. We had some bumps and it took a few minutes here and there but with four nearby locations and all stores having fully booked appointments for almost one week she spoke with a Manager at our closest location and had it approved for us to head down and try and resolve getting the phone fixed as a walk in where I would be ensured to be seen which was perfect! On top of all this hassle of getting an appointment Kandice waived a fee since we were out of warranty with the Iphone and allowed us to get warranty pricing which was such a nice gift that I did not even ask for. Now the twist in the story is after driving to the Apple store we were informed that due to a “minor spec of water” which was the store employees own words we cannot cover the phone even with corporate customer services approval and would not do the screen replacement. They offered us full retail price on a new phone which I could not do at the time. I left and went home and decided I would just deal with a broken phone for now and reach out to Kandice via email regarding the in store situation I dealt with. Within a few hours due to time-zone differences she called me back and informed me she has taken care of everything and spoken to the stores Manager. I couldn’t have been happier to hear the amazing news that they due to the mix up they were offering to replace the phone at no cost to us at all. I went down to the Apple store after work and within minutes had a new phone waiting for me ready to go. After this experience I have to truly say I have never wanted to work for a company more in my life than Apple and all I was doing was simply reaching out for customer support. The complete satisfaction, determination, and consistent follow ups really brings Apples customer service above and beyond anything I have ever seen or heard. Not only did this experience turn around my day; it actually flipped my whole week around and demeanor while dealing with a sever head cold.

Thank you Apple and a huge thank you Kandice Baxter!

Dear Apple Executive team,
I am writing in regards to an Iphone 5S I purchased Nov 2014. I was looking to change jobs and new I would be giving up my work cell so I purchased a cell phone to be proactive. Three weeks after buying the iphone I sent a group text to my family with a Thanksgiving invite. Shortly after I sent the group text, I started to receive responses but was unable to tell who was responding as the contact name was not available on the response. I went to AT&T store, went to Apple store they restarted my phone, Att&t said they couldn’t help. I continued to lose my contacts intermittently, so continue to call Apple Sr. Advisors and they begun their process to diagnose the problem (months later), It is now July and the Sr. Advisors are now telling me that they denied my claim as they believe it was an exchange problem. The first time I lost contacts I was in between jobs and I was NOT hooked up to Exchange or Icloud. I it so frustrating when as a customer you give information and NO ONE LISTENS. How can they diagnose the problem to be an exchange issue when I didn’t even start the new job to use Exchange until middle of Dec 2014? I am truly disapointed in Apple’s response to my issue. We have had an AT&T customer for years, Spent several hundred dollars on the Iphone and over 40 hours of my personal time working with several sr advisors and engineers behind the scenes. It’s as though I am being called a liar. My phone is still under warranty and I also have insurance but nothing can be done to help me. How does this make sense. My name is Odalys Aflonso and I can be reached at 954-261-****, the account holder is my husband Joe Alfonso.
Thank you

Dear “feedback”:

Apple notified us that they were no longer security supporting Snow Leopard, an OS that came with a MacBook Pro just four years ago, one of two MacBooks we own, advising us to upgrade or risk security breaches. Unsure about the problems associated with an OS upgrade online, I decided to take the day off and trek 100 miles down from our home in the Sierra Foothills to the nearest Apple Store in Modesto, California.

I was there at the 10:00am opening, waiting in a queue with about 25 people ahead of me. When I finally got to the store greeter, I told him about the long drive and that I wanted to upgrade the OS. He took my personal info and I asked if I could have it done today. He told me sure, but the first available appointment was going to be at least five hours wait. Now I overheard him say the same thing to the young lady in front of me who was a bit more comely than I, and when she balked, he modified her appointment to a 3.5 hour wait. But next up, I was still stuck with five. I asked him how long the OS upgrade would actually take, and he said 20 minutes. He also said that the store techs were top notch, and would probably have an appointment for me sooner than the five hour wait.

So I waited. For five hours, the last three on a bench outside the store, in 90 degree heat. Oh I tried to go inside and see if there were any cancellations. Nope. Five hours.

Finally a little text message said, “Thanks for waiting! You’re up!”

Fine. So I went in.

And I waited in another queue again to see a different greeter. When my turn came, he got me to a tech.

After ten minutes of taking down my name and personal info AGAIN and checking the serial number on the MacBook, the tech was ready. I asked him how long it would take, and he told me 24 hours, that there was a lot of systems backed up.

TWENTY FOUR HOURS! I was told 20 minutes! And I waited here ALL DAY for you to finally advise me that I would have to take another day off, drive the 200 mile round trip and spend another $50 in gas, to get this 20 MINUTE JOB DONE!

Why didn’t you TELL me THIS in the MORNING so I didn’t have to WASTE MY ENTIRE DAY!

“Sorry about that”, was all I got.

I considered asking for the manager and making a fuss, but I was just too beat.

So I bailed. The ENTIRE day I took off and trekked gone.

But I have to tell you, although I dispise Microsoft, I’m now SERIOUSLY considering if it’s really worth the hassle of owning a Apple system, where they upgrade the OS every Season with a few bells and whistles throwing all sorts of after market software in the dumpster along the way, change their IO setup with every iteration, making every peripheral you own either obsolete or in need of expensive Apple patch cables, ship systems that won’t run external monitors unless they’re ancient USB 2, Thunderbolt 2, Magsafe 1, narrow gamut Apple Thunderbolts (unless you scrounge out weird, risky, and hard to find software scripts to fool the Mac into thinking the monitor is actually a COMPUTER MONITOR rather than a TV, as if NONE of their following of graphic designers and/or photographers would EVER need something like a wide gamut Eizo), and generally dump on long term Mac owners because now they make most of their money selling phones and watches.

Try sometime, to actually call an Apple Store and talk to a tech, or even a store manager. All you’ll get is a complex automated phone system that runs you in circles. With a Wintel Sys, as bad as Windows stinks, there’s a repair tech on every corner, even in the smallest communities. And as much as I dislike Dell in general, when you buy their business extended warranty, they’ll send a tech out to your PLACE OF BUSINESS, instead of running you around like Apple just did to ME, as if THEIR time matters, but not OURS.

Sucks pretty much.

Lousy service, impossible tech location logistics, sky high prices, and wham bam, thank you ma’am customer support.

Apple has a policy that they don’t accept ideas and if you are going to submit an idea, it automatically becomes their’s and all that

I will never own another Apple product again. I will tell everyone I know to stay away from Apple products and I plan to post it on social media.(Not that Apple cares) I was under the impression Apple cared about their customers but I am sadly mistaken. I purchased a Mac Book Air in November. My daughter traveled with the mac book in May. She took it out of her suitcase once to use it. It worked fine. She put it back in the suitcase. She took it out when she got home and it did not work. She went to the local Apple store and was told there was water damage and it was not covered. We both have no idea how any water could have gotten in it as it was not around any water. After 2 discussions with 2 different managers, I am left with the feeling that they do not believe the story. I spent 1!/2 hours on the phone with Apple Care. I spent $250.00 on a warranty that covers nothing. The luggage was checked in as baggage and not carried on the plane. I was told by an expert IT person that most likely condensation formed in the computer while underneath the plane due to the temperature changes. The warranty only covers faulty Apple components. I argue that the whole computer is faulty if it cannot withstand an airplane ride without being ruined. I am still paying on the computer that I purchased for my daughter for college. Now I have no computer for college and no money to purchase another one. 100% NO WATER WAS SPILLED ON THIS DEVICE. There is story after story on the internet about people having similar issues as I have had. I am sure we are not all lying. I will also be contacting my local news station to make a call for action report. I purchased this because I was told it was a great product and the warranty would take care of my needs. What a waste of money. I should have just lit $1000.00 on fire. Thanks, Apple. This has been a nightmare.

Got an Ipad Air as a gift from my children on my birthday very rarely used it but recently decided to use it with my photography business. It will stay on for a very limited time and when I say limited I mean by three to four minutes. It will not charge and all I get is a bleck screen. I have called Apple support was transferred several times which was a total of thirty minutes being transferred. Once I did get someone they hung up on me so the whole process had to be repeated and finally just got irritated and gave up. Tried taking it back to the store but since it was a gift and I have no receipt then they couldn’t help me but suggested that I call Apple Support, a great big negative! I just want Apple or someone to make this right due to the fact my children paid a good bit of money for this gift that I cannot use.

Just hoping Apple Co. Reads this. I have an iPad. I like live streaming but have had to call 5 times xfinity my provider to have them do what ever they do to reboot my app. Constant issues. To many to list. So I went to the Apple Store on my computer and read the reviews for all of xfinity’s apps. They are spot on! And non of them good. I hope that between to mega companies they can fix the issues listed. Good thing the apps are free or Apple would be refunding 99% of xfinity users. Really bad for business and a really easy fix.

I had my I photo system “upgraded” on-line today and it totally confused me. I am a senior and thought I would die of old age before ever touching a computer. The upgrade changed everything that I was used to seeing or doing in that program. Panic set in and I could not correct any of the major issues that I saw. I did get through to “Andrew”. an Apple employee based in Sacramento and he spent a long time with me personally explaining the new system and how it differed from the “old” I photo. I would like to take this time to commend and note Andrew’s help, caring and understanding regarding the issues that I had. Just a “thank you” for having employees like Andrew available for help….especially to those like me that are computer challenged.

I think apple is a rip-off I bought I phone 6 every time I buy phone a phone you have to get the apple care for 100.00 its not worth it I didn’t get apple care this time because I had with my I phone 5s I still have about 6 months left because of a repair apple will not refund you the rest of the apple care that you don’t use
I think that is BS and I think that lawsuit go against apple

Andy April 16, 2015 at 12:49 pm

I just wanted to thank you again for a product that will not stay connected to a wifi network consistently. My data plan was exceeded again because my iPhone 6 dropped the wifi network in my home(3rd different router, I know it’s the phone)causing another month of data overage charges with my cellular provider. Steve Jobs would be ashamed of this product.

Crush All Dems April 7, 2015 at 8:34 am

Yeah, we all know THIS is gonna happen…

Recently, Apple CEO Tim Cook said,

“Our message, to people around the country and around the world, is this: Apple is open. Open to everyone, regardless of where they come from, what they look like, how they worship or who they love. Regardless of what the law might allow in Indiana or Arkansas, we will never tolerate discrimination.

…This is about how we treat each other as human beings… Opposing discrimination takes courage. With the lives and dignity of so many people at stake, it’s time for all of us to be courageous.”

Tim Cook’s message seems rather ironic in light of the fact that Apple willingly does business with some of the most virulently anti-gay nations on the planet.

According to their Islamic-based governments, homosexuality is punishable by death in Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iran. So not only is it willing to “tolerate discrimination” in those countries, Apple is also happy to sell an iPod to the people who are murdering gays so they can listen to some cheery music when they’re done. What these nations are doing to their gay communities is despicable and should be condemned by every decent person. We hope Tim Cook believes that as well.

Tim Cook says that, “Opposing discrimination takes courage,” and we agree. We call on Mr. Cook to live up to our shared principles by pulling Apple out of Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iran until they stop their official government policies of jailing and murdering gays and lesbians.

To Tim Cook
You won’t do business in Indiana because of their new law that protects religious freedom, but you have no problem doing business in Saudi Arabia where they hang gay people. So do you really stand for anything, or like most people on the left, you are a hypocrite. You are just jumping on the band wagon so people will think you really care, but when you look a little deeper, we find out that you really don’t give a rats ass.

Lisa March 25, 2015 at 9:49 pm

With all the technology available there must be a way to put a sensor in phones that detect motion which turns off texting abilities Texting while driving has become a VERY dangerous activity that needs to stop. Save lives please! Thanks, lisa

Ashley April 9, 2015 at 1:06 am

Yes, lets put in a sensor that detects motion so people must stand completely still before being able to use a phone for any reason. Kidnapped? Can’t send that text because you’re moving. Flying? Oops, you’re moving. Running? Don’t touch your phone. That’s never going to work. Plus, you’re invading personal privacy. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen

I hope this is corporate customer service for Apple products. In September 2014, you upgraded IOS 7.2.1 to IOS 8. I didn’t. I wanted to see what people thought about it first. Ipad 2 owners were horrified – the upgrade wrecked their ipad experience. So I didn’t upgrade.

In Feb 2015, my mom borrowed my ipad. It worked fine. While I was in the kitchen, she accidentally said “yes” to “there is a more current….” and upgraded it to IOS 8. It hasn’t worked properly since. I have done all sorts of research, and found that the only reason I can’t revert to IOS 7.2.1 is because you no longer “sign” that IOS. This is unbelievable, and unbearable. I would like to revert my ipad2 to IOS 7.2.1, have the .ipsw but can’t revert because of the signing issue. What can you do for me? Can you reopen the “signing” window for people like me? If you look online, you will see how seriously this upgrade has affected ipad2 users.

Please remind apple employees that you’re supposed to be doing us, the consumers, a service. We are not your guinea pigs! Refusing to allow customers to revert to a previously approved – by apple – and fully functional – for consumers – IOS seems capricious at best and malicious at worst. Please have someone look into this issue, and contact me with a resolution. I simply cannot afford to purchase a new ipad every time apple comes out with an awful IOS update. Thank you!

Attn: Corporate Office / Customer Complaints

Most of our friends have an Apple phone, ipad or laptop and have been raving about it.
Apple products were always a bit out of my price range. However, I finally found the “refurbished apple products” site and purchased an IPad 3rd Gen, 32 gb on from Apple online on 1/13/2015.

After 2 months of ownership, I am quite disappointed and wish I had just stayed with my familiar Microsoft products, even inspite of their numerous hick-ups.

My problems are the following:
Prior to my purchase, I stopped at the Phoenix Biltmore Apple store to get some advice from one your many many young people in blue. That was more or less satisfactory and I decided to give it a try.
Unfortunately, there is no info on what my 90- day support actually includes and even, after having stopped several times at the same store, I was never informed about the extent or non-extent of this support, for instance, I didn’t know that the Genius Bar is just a 10-minute help, that there is no one-on-one support for IPad, that the so-called basic work shops – at least the one I attended – deal with IPhone at the same time, which took 1/2 hour for something I didn’t need, so a huge waste of my time, also travelling 30 minutes to and from. This workshop had been recommended by one of your “managers” Josselyn, I believe, after he had called me regarding some of my previous complaints.

Your online support is mediocre at most and has too many of your “polite” phrases included which make this long wait even longer and my issues were not solved. I was however pressured in getting the extra Apple Plus Care “since my 60 day time frame was to expire on Friday, March 13”.
On Friday, March 13, 2015, I called the Biltmore office to make appointments with the Genius Bar people and at the same time asked to sign me up for the extended product care, because I cannot do this online due to a password interference. I was transferred to “the safe person” who took my information, credit card number etc. asked to verify my email se*** so that the confirmation could be sent to that email. To this date, I have not received a confirmation and I just phoned the Biltmore store again, but was redirected to ITunes, then supposedly redirected to ????, then I was disconnected.

My American Express card shows charges of $ 1 (?) and $ 99.00 from ITune, Cupertino. When I checked today, the issuer of the charge had changed, $ 1 was still from ITunes and $ 99.00 from Apple in Florida. Needless to say, this is all very confusing and aggravating.
To facilitate this research at your end, here are the two Case IDs: 762501624 and
759710506 for some of my issues, which will give you all the info on me.
I would truly appreciate if someone would call me and solve my problem without me having to go through this painful experience of phoning and transferring and so on.
And I do not want to have to dispute my American Express charges at this point.

Thank you.
Sigrid Egan, Scottsdale, AZ.

Getting apple customer care to resolve my issue with a purchase of an iphone6 plus has been a nightmare.

Feb 26, 2015 I purchased a iphone 6 plus via Apple online. Phone was received Friday afternoon tried to activate but was unsuccessful conferences called sprint and apple but attempts to activate phone failed. Apple sent a phone that was NOT compatible with sprint even though purchased was for sprint iphone, yet Apple will not recognize error in retun apple requested for phone to be returned and would send me a refurbished replacement which I did not agree too because the phone I paid for was a brand new one which had not been used. I returned phone and after waited two days to insure apple received phone I called to check on progress/ status of my iphone

After being on hold for what they call two minues and customer are trying to figure out situation. Was on the phone for two hours and still solution has not been able to accomplished. Apple received iphone on March 9, 2015 has returned money to my account but failed to notify Sprint in order for me to be able to repurchase a phone using the eligibility discount. I have contacted apple several times in which I have spent no less than 2 hours on the phone with what is the so called customer care which is so incompetent and unwilling to accept the lack of knowledge of how to resolve situation. My case number is 761990448. My return number is 6500550733 and. All you need to do is send a return receipt which includes the serial number of the phone I return to Sprint national Sales support that apple deals with and this issue would be resolved. How difficult is this??????

Yet your customer care rep says they have no access to fax or email to complete this task has promised this would be taken care an yet my account is still in the same status
How can this be possible please take care of this situation. All I wanted is to upgrade my phone

I have kept record of all conversations and transcripts of this ridiculous situation …

JohnHugh February 14, 2015 at 1:59 am

Huge headache calling Apple Support by telephone. Can you do anything to help me?
First, your Customer service prompts you to wait just less than 3 min. wait (10 minutes later)
Please help me to deal with (1) my iPhone 6+ and App Store issues and (2) the shocking arrogance of your customer service personnel. What can you do to serve this customer’s needs?
Today, I have experienced…

Two hours on the phone… zero progress, missing cues blamed on the customer, blaming customers for errors in the database, Applestore visits (3), phone conversations that go nowhere, arrogant representatives, extremely long holds.
I ask you, this is Apple? this is your Customer Service? really?
-case # 748860386, sundeep, this Apple Customer Service assistant was too rude to continue the conversation. I had to call back, queue again, then escalate to the manager…
Because this representative refused to acknowledge that there was in fact a problem, even going so far as to accuse me of causing the problem. We didn’t even get past the password login so that he could see that my information has been crossed with someone in the UK and that there’s a Pound Sterling Balance on my Apple Account that is not mine. Yet, sundeep arrogantly claimed Apple and the system has NO problem, but that I have the problem. Hmmm?
Han, case # 748847056
Han has just told me he’d get a manager right away, after a 40 min wait, that was at 2:26pm. There is an obvious corporate culture that is pervasive throughout your telephone customer service. The condescension and arrogance that I’ve experienced today is not reasonable.

As I’m writing this, Han hasn’t returned to the phone. I’m on hold now at 3:05pm… and waiting. His last comment was, “I’ll get a manager on right away”.
Clearly, the corporate culture that is entrenched is that customers with problems are problems themselves. Customers with Customer Service Department problems become the joke.
Please help, if you can.

Would like to have this intermittent wifi problem fixed please.
I Got a new iPad air as a gift from kids, Dec. 2013 to replace my iPad 1. this new iPad has never been able to stay connected to wifi…if I step away from using it for more than 20 min. I have to go into settings to reconnect. Everyday, all day long this has been an issue! For more than a year now ATT has been to my home and on the phone trying to resolve issues…new router/modems….run new wires….etc. I have doXXXXentation form office of the president for these issues For the past year. 3 days ago an ATT trouble support person concluded it was an Apple issue and told me to call them. I have been two days of troubleshooting over the phone with Apple Support and nothing could be fixed, they said never heard of the issue…..but I see hundreds of this issue online… they set up for me to have it replaced with a new one of the same….took it in last night 1/30/2015, since I have all doXXXXentation for the past year there would be no charge, but I lose my engraved iPad. Ok so get it home, set it up, restore and all those things…..working fine. Get up the next morning and guess what?? Safari cannot get a connection….mail cannot update….games won’t updat….ALL of the exact same issues. This ipad has a 90 day warranty……what is my solution to this ongoing very nerve wracking problem? all my other wireless products stay connected all the time…printer, laptops, iPhone 5s….other brands of phones….so far no problem with iPhone 6, but that phone is not here full time to check daily. I don’t think I can take to much more of this run around….what is the solution please?
Yes, everything has been tried…..reboot every product involved…reset….everything. What is Apples solution for this issue? Yes my iPad is updated. Thanks.

After dealing with 4 female operators , the last of which I hung up on because she sounded drunk, couldn’t understand an thing she was saying. All I’m trying to do it to get to the expert on the pages program and I’ve got to repeat, repeat, repeat to operators who have no expertise in the pages program and then put me on hold, with God awful music, and then I get hung up on. One time the music was so bad I hung up. Apple has one of the, if not the worst system for getting to the person you need to get to. The last person, didn’t get her name, but I had called the corporate office and asked to speak with the complaint department and she cut me off. This seems to be standard for apple. God I wish there were a better company and system in which to speak with the necessary person who can explain how to do something with the pages program if in fact it can be done at all.

On January 9 2015. I bought an IMAC 21.0 computer. I to lad the person or sales representative. I am illiterate in putting together the wiring and settings , so If they can help me show how to operate and put everything together, they are very helpful and my computer was put together in no time. Before I left, in about two weeks i am planning to buy a printer with fax on it. So today 16 of January I purchased the printer. But before i bought it, the salesman I was with is kinda fishy, He told me to be able to show me how it works I have to buy it first. He ask me there is $99 dollars without fax on it and $145 with fax include. I told him I have enough money to buy the $145 thats what I want anyway. So i paid him he open the box and told me just read this instruction. But I wanted to him step by step how will I go by to install it. His in a hurry he just want and repeatedly follow instruction. So disappointed because my mom who is 80 years old waiting. So i went home. Its upset me more now that I am having complicated installing it. And I found out that has no fax capability. I am very angry now, that I have to call and explain it to other I spoke to. I am getting a run around and they keep saying when i ask where is your manager they put me on hold for 45 minutes and I got connected to Texas apple store. Apple should trained their sales people to the best of their ability. They took my money and thank goodbye. And I never got the right printer I was promised to get. Is this the business is going on now. Remember Steve Job said that you don’t know how to do business, will go away. This mistake was not my fault and they need to compensate the right printer with fax machine. I ask for. Unprofessional top to bottom. The Apple store was located at Oakridge Mall San Jose CA

I purchased my first iPad 1 when they came out. Used daily until I was given another model then passed on to my daughter and grandchildren. The iPad was lost for 6 days. It was found outside on the swing set screen side up exposed to 3 days of rain and then freezing temps. Dried it off, charged the battery and it works wonderful. Thanks Apple for a great product!

Scott Sevel November 23, 2014 at 11:08 pm

I bought an I-Phone 6 Plus. I stored my backup on my pc with no password. After viewing multiple threads regarding restoration asking for a password that was never created I tried the suggested solutions. None of them worked so I called Apple.

Fortunately the store moved my pictures from my old phone to my new phone so I at least had them.

Unfortunately when I called the help line they provided a direction to me that lost all of my photos over 500 memories of family, friends and experiences.

The supervisor Marcus Hargrove told me that I could get a 3rd party software that would unravel what was stored and restore it to my phone. They did offer a financial amount of unknown quantity. I asked for his supervisor. At that point I was told he did not have one and that he just had a building manager.

I asked for a programmer from Apple to help me. They gave me to customer service Amanda who promised to follow up tomorrow.

I bought an Apple laptop and have bought the Apple lessons Training package every year. Now 3 years are up and I’m told I need to buy a new laptop to qualify for more lessons at £79 per year.!?!
Surely Apple Headquarters need to offer their loyal customers yearly lesson packages even at an increased rate? We enjoy going to Buchanan Street, Glasgow, Scotland for our fortnightly lessons. The Training Staff are superb. I am not buying a new laptop after only 3 years. Please Apple Headquarters offer loyal customers the chance to buy a yearly lesson package. We are retired and there is a lot to take in besides IMovie and iPhoto.
I have just bought the new iPhone 6+ and other loyal customers in the store were feeling the same as myself. Please reconsider and offer more trying packages beyond the 3 years. We don’t mind paying extra. Say £100 per year and £150 beyond the 3 years?

Peter November 16, 2014 at 6:36 pm

November 16, 2014

Dear Mr. Cook,

On day 1 of the iPhone 6 release (*September 19th) I picked up my new phone – 64 GB. However, I’ve had several issues as of late last week starting on November 13, 2014, they include:

Home button very hot to the touch, so hot I had to remove my finger
Several “blue screens” and reboots of the phone
Battery drains in about 8 hours in standby mode (no use)
Unable to activate fingerprint reader

The phone is in pristine condition and also has an Apple leather case. I started calling Apple at 8 am on Friday, November 14th. To date, no one is willing to replace the phone with new. I have nothing to gain but the new phone that I just purchased. I am concerned this phone is a fire hazard as well as not working for the reasons mentioned above that I will be “stuck” with for 2 years.

I have been a loyal Apple customer and currently own: 4 iPads, 1 iPhone mini, 1 MacBook Pro, 2 – iPhone 6’s, 2 Apple TVs, 2 Time Capsules and 1 Apple Express. I say currently own because I have upgraded our phones several times including the iPhone 5 which was a very bad experience and the reason why I upgraded to the *iPhone 6 at the earliest date.

I was also absolutely treated poorly as a customer with the iPhone 5 because the local Apple store refused to change the battery after I complained that the battery discharged rapidly. I went ahead and changed the battery at my cost because it needed it. Subsequently Apple had the battery recall and reimbursed me for the battery but I also had a problem with the power button causing me to hobble along with the system workaround to turn the phone on and off. At the same time, the Apple store would not replace my IPAD battery even though it was covered under Applecare using the same bogus test that said nothing was wrong with my iPhone 5 battery.

So, here we are again with the iPhone 6, poor service never mind the contractual obligation act. I spent more than 2 hours on the phone on November 14th at which time the safety department (2 different reps) asked me a series of questions which I responded to such ridiculous questions such as “did the phone have a battery in it”.

Please, please help. Customers should not have to work so hard for Apple to respond. I think this is a poor reflection on the Apple brand. I switched teams to Apple from other brand but I am seriously questioning this decision. Thank you.

Dragana Ilic November 4, 2014 at 10:21 pm

Dear Mr. Cook,

I purchased my first iPhone 5S Gold 16GB (IMEI:013848003591168) in Apple Store Boca Raton, 6000 West Glades Road, Ste. 1031, Boca Raton, FL 33431 on date December 28, 2013. I paid $ 687.94 for unlocked iPhone 5S, which has one-year warranty.

Recently my IPhone stopped working and I went to the same Apple Store, where I purchased my IPhone, to replace it on November 1st, 2014. I received a new phone (IMEI: 013989004314489) that same day at the store. They took my old IPhone and gave me the new one.

The new IPhone stopped working after a day and I went back to the store on November 3, 2014 when I got the first appointment at 7:50 pm to ask for help with my new IPhone. This time, they told me that they needed to inspect my new IPhone, so they took my IPhone and told me to come back into the store at 9:30pm. Store closes at 9pm.
I came back at 9pm and was waiting until 9:30pm until all customers and almost all workers were gone for a day. Then I was told that my IPhone cannot be fixed or replaced. I asked to speak with the store manager to get more information. Ryan McNally, the store manager came and explained that there are some missing parts in the phone, so they cannot help me repair it or replace it. He said that, “someone opened the phone and took parts out.” Then he went back to inspect the phone again and after I was waiting another 20 minutes, he came back and told me the same story again. I asked him how is it possible that parts are missing in a new phone and which parts are missing. He refused to write me a report which parts are missing and explained that these parts can be only removed manually when the phone is open.

I am very frustrated and disappointed that I was accused of opening my new phone and stealing the parts, because I am the only one who was in possession of my phone besides the technicians in the apple store when they inspected it. I don’t even know how to put the SIM card into my IPhone and I have no clue how to open IPhone. Not to mention how he explained it using the special tools for stealing parts. I have no criminal history or any illegal activity or accusation in my life. You can check my record. I am a straight A doctoral student and a former professional athlete.

After being very disappointed and frustrated with Apple Store Boca Raton, I called Apple Care at 1-800-APL-CARE. I was transferred to speak with a supervisor Taili Stars at 9am on November 4th. After explaining what happened last night, she told that she was going to call Apple Store Boca Raton at 10am when they open and that she will call me back. At 10:55 I received the call from her again from number 408-556-4000. She said that they refused to give her information and that she believes me that I didn’t open my new iPhone. She said that I have to wait 48hours and then call again Apple Care. She also said that my case number is 690-309-785 and that unfortunately this was her last day working for Apple Company.

I am hoping that you can help me with this matter and to replace my IPhone since it is obvious that I was given a defective phone at the first place. I really appreciate your help. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

DO NOT BUY AN IPHONE 6. I have had battery issues since I first got it and Apple has been very bad at making any restitution. Yes, It’s October 31 and I have been dealing with this problem since end of September and Apple has had a horrible precedence with this one product. Now, I am a person that has NUMEROUS Apple product – bought largely BEFORE Job’s death and this post-death purchase has been a DISASTER. And now, they tell me that i am getting a possible refurbished phone. Ridiculous. I will never buy another Apple product again. Apple died when Jobs died.

Apple has now gone the way of all the other manufacturers in giving crappy to no customer service. I am filing a Rip

Dear Mr. Cook

Love Apple products. They just work!!!

I would ask that Apple look at the new phones sales policy or strategy. I tried to purchase the iPhone 6 first on line and then from a retail store. I was not able to do either.

To be fair I was trying to buy the phone outright without having to have a new 2 year agreement, since I had just signed a two year agreement with my carrier the month before. I was willing to pay the full price for the phone and to even have the carrier installed on the phone. Unfortunately the apple web site does not allow one the option to make such a purchse. So I made a trip to the local retail Apple store. The pleasant gentleman informed that they did not have what I wanted and that the Apple store could not order the phone for me. I came back home and called the Apple national help line to try an order the phone via telephone. I finally had it explained that what I was trying to do was purchase an “unlocked” phone and that apple would not be allowing such sales for a period time but could not tell me when those “unlocked” phones would be available.

While I appreciate Apple’s marketing and sales strategy, there are those of us who just want to buy the phone and continue our existing service. Apple would not lose revenue on this since Apple gets the revenue either directly from me as the purchaser or from the carriers. Right now Apple gets zero since I can’t buy the phone. Seems to me that Apple is leaving money on the table.

Well, I finally figured out that the only way to actually buy the phone outright was to go to the carrier. Yep. I can pay for the phone without having to do a new two year agreement. Surely if the carriers could do this, Apple ought to be able to figure it out as well.

All things Apple –

I have only an iPad 2 and recently went on my dream vacation of a lifetime because my parents paid for my trip as I’m disabled on a low income. I had a wonderful time brought
My iPad with me took lots of pictures and videos of the plane taking off and landing. I will never get the experience of going back to myrtle beach again. When I got back
Something went wrong with my iPad , so I took it to an Apple Store and was told by a genius named Paul that he can’t save any pictures and I didn’t know how to use a back up setting.
I was at the store from 1 pm – 5 pm while Paul was trying to transfer my stuff to a memory stick which he tried 3 times without succeeding. Now I also lost other pictures too which can never get them back. I’m so disappointed and feel upset because my vacation of a life time has nothing to show.
I’m not sure what to do about it ? I love my iPad but the genius are not what they say they are. I will never buy another Apple product and definetley can’t afford it.
Apple is not the best with their genius’s .

I am from India and my case no is 676762708 regarding IPhone 5s .really a bad quality worse than the cheapest phones available in the market and
I am surprised that Apple is not having any quality control over its product in India. Whenever you visit Apple service centre you will find lot of complaints about Apple products . Why can’t Apple engineer shake up the system to give customer satisfaction.

I purchased 5s phone from Croma on 16th may 2014..The phone had bundle of problems and I approached Ms Esteem Technologies,Westend Mall, Janakpuri. They changed the phone on 19 th may 2014 with refurbished phone which they get from Bangalore office .the exchanged phone was having problems and I approached them in sept 2014 and again they exchanged with refurbished phone. This phone is also not working properly and lot of problems like sound quality , call dropping ,self calling to random nos ,hanging etc.Now I have lodged Case with Apple India vide case no 676762708 on 10th oct2014. Such a bad quality is not expected from Apple.I hope Apple will change my phone with new one and not refurbished one.

I was traveling in South of Poland when my Mac Pro has exploded. causing damage to battery and top of machine. The closes Apple service was in Warsaw over 200 Ml from place where i was at this time so I did call Customer Service. The person on the phone asked me number questions about incident like: if any one was injured, if there was fire, smog, property damage etc. She also asked me to send her pictures of damaged computer. After day or so She called me back just to tell me that there is nothing She can do because computer is 3 Years old and is normal what happened to my computer, She give me Case # 663564937.

Because I was going back to US in couple of days I was not able to fix my computer. When I went on Air Port Security did not let me board Aircraft with this computer because of the extensive damage and safety hazard so I had to live it in Poland with relatives.

After coming back to US I went to Apple Store in Palm Beach Garden Florida where I explained my story to Store Manager. And again nothing, he said he need to see broken computer to see if he can help me.

So here I do have questions to Apple.

1. Is Apple computer explosions normal?

2. How I can bring broken Apple machine caused by battery explosions to US?

3. Is Apple not backing up own products and do not care about its costumers?

There is a female by the name of Mary binkley , she lives in Hawaii abd is an apple tech. Most recently I have gotten to know her very well . Well enough to know she uses illicit drugs, drinks heavily , and is a abuser of pills. All while chatting in line. And if she is feeling extra twisted she will even go into peoples accounts to look up personal information. Needles to say, I was appauled by such behavior and wondered how could a great company like apple allow such things to happen? Is there no guidelines to personal conduct as an employee?? Well all I can say is thank god I have a droid…..and watch out , she could be snooping through your personal data…..high as a kite. Aloha .

I have an I Phone 4. I made the mistake of downloading IOS 8.0. Now I have a bunch of useless apps (ibooks, podcasts, health & tips) which I will never use but can’t seem to get rid of. Also Siri has disappeared, what happened to her? Plus I can’t even look up the answers to a question without being asked to sign on to ICloud. What the hell?
This phone has been one problem after another ever since I got it. Trust me when I say I will never have another Apple product.

I look forward to having an Apple watch when they become available. I am particularly interested to have an app that will make use of the movement system to indicate that I am having an epileptic seizure and send an SMS to my carer showing GPS location etc. Also to have info such as heart rate, blood pressure along as sweat detection should they be included in the watch. Seizure detection is a major development for those that have epilepsy.

Tim Cook, I purchased a Mac Book Pro 2 1/2 years ago because everyone ranted and raved about the good quality of an Apple computer. I could not afford to get one (I am a widow and live on one income)but was tired of having all the problems with a regular pc. In May of 2014 my Mac quite working, took it to the Apple store and ended up paying $365 for repairs. Received it back in June and then 2 months later it did the same thing, nothing but a white screen. Back to the Apple store it went again. Same problem so this time it was under the 90 day warranty. Received it back in August and now it is 30 days later and it quit again. It seems to me that I could have bought 2 or 3 regular pcs with the money I spent on this Mac and they would probably still be working just fine. Where is the company that stands behind their product? Apple has given you a good salary from their products so I am sure you do not comprehend the problem that I have. I am sure just like one of the previous complaints about your products, you will never see this message. I will never buy an Apple product again and I will voice my opinion to anyone that will listen. DO NOT buy a Mac Book Pro from this company!

Judy September 20, 2014 at 7:58 am

I don’t think I will buy an I phone ever again. I have had nothing but trouble with mine since I got it. I have the I phone C, and it over heats and eats battery. Now I am trying to update to the iSo 8 and it froze my phone so I can’t even use it. Your Tech support is terrible, and just trying to get a new password is nearly impossible.By the look of a film I saw on your company, it looks like the workers are too busy eating, playing and working out in the gym to do their jobs.
Until now I have not had any problem with the IPhone, but after this, I just don’t know if I will ever want another apple product again.

Dear Mr. Tim Cook, CEO Apple,
I doubt very much that this letter will ever cross your desk, but if by some miraculous event it does, I ask that you consider Apple’s next step.
For in the Beginning was not only Adam and Eve’s apple, but in the beginning of computers was also the Apple Computer.

Mister Cook, in the beginning of Apple, Mister Jobs, or some other visionary had the genius to put your computers in schools, so that countless generations would grow up learning on the Apple computer. Then one day, when those same children became adults they would be purchasing your product. That was brilliant!
Sir, since you have already shown that your company has a heart for the children, I would like to introduce you to your next possible step with computer systems and children…their protection!
We have all watched in horror over the past decade or more as, Columbine, Sandy Hook, and other schools throughout the America have been unnecessarily ravaged by those who sought to do them harm. And Sir, I believe that I have the solution.
I have written and copyrighted the concept for a computerized device that when introduced to schools across our country, will save lives. This concept could also be used in theatres, malls, airports, corporate buildings, or most any business with a brick and mortar location.
If I have piqued your interest, please contact me via my email cat*** to arrange a meeting whereby I can provide more information.
Thank you for your time and concern in this matter.

As of today, i was told by one of the apple care specialists for my case #656 371 370 that we now have to wait until Friday 9/12 to receive MacBook Pro back. More than a week well. not to mention that when i called in that the man stated that my issue was listed as a complaint. Well if I wasn’t completely disgusted before I am really disgusted now. Last week I submitted this regarding an issue with my college son’s MacBook Pro

I am speaking for all College students as a parent.

In the summer of 2013, right before my son left for college, he purchased a brand new MacBook Pro w/warranty, well this is the second time in the last 8 months that something has had to be repaired.

So he drove to the nearest Apple Store which for him is about an hour away in Altamonte Springs, FL . As he is a 2nd yr student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, FL. He made an appointment on Tuesday for Wednesday after class, gets there to only have to wait even further, since the workers at the store were helping others who did not have an appointment first, to then be told we have to send it out and it would be returned back to the store no later than next Tuesday. Called this morning to Apple Care to find out that his MacBook is still sitting at store and would not go out until 5pm today.

Basically will not be worked on until at the earliest tomorrow which would be Friday and then possibly back to the store maybe Monday at the earliest. For him to drive again back to the store to pick it up. For a college student this is totally unacceptable. Our students need their computers to do their work

After speaking with Apple directly they really do not care how long you have to wait. Consumers pay a lot of money for their products especially college students they depend on their computers, especially when a lot of their work is to be done on their computer and sent electronically to their professors. Professors do not care that is for sure if they do not do their work.

Apple needs to do something for these college student when they have issues with their computers and they are required to send them back to Apple for repair. Maybe they should think of a replacement or loaner program for these college students.

Just extremely frustrated that Apple does not seem to really care about its consumers just wants to make $$$$$.

I know that I cannot be the only frustrated parent out there.

Rahul Tibrewala August 28, 2014 at 7:49 am

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Rahul Tibrewala. I am from Nepal.

I am a big fan of apple product. I had used iPhone 3s and recently using iPhone 5, Mac book Pro with retina display.

I have a complain with My iPhone 5. I had purchased my iPhone 5 when it was launched during september 2012 from HK. during my visit.

In My iphone 5 sleep and awake button did not work properly also my charging dock did not work properly and also its earphone did not work properly and all this problem was from the day i had purchased but still i was using it as i had already returned to Nepal and could not send the phone back to HK. But when i heard that there a replacement program and i checked it was eligible and as iPhone gives international warranty. I had send my phone to delhi in one of the service centre along with my bro who was visiting delhi during may 2014 and they said it will be chargeable around 4K and will take 2 weeks so i had to get it back to Nepal as he had to return back to Nepal.

I had to send My iPhone 5 to the once of the local apple service in Nepal in the beginning my phone was ok then slowly its microphone and charging dock is not working properly.

And now i am facing a lot of problem with the iPhone 5 kindly suggest me what should i do.

Thanks & Regards,

Well my post does not even appear & should be today Aug 9 & could be pending but I copied & pasted so tried to repost & it said it was a duplicate so……
Nothing else is suprising if its deleted as my very well being is encrypted with Apple acting as some firewall to this mobile IPhone assuming NO right they have to monitor every word typed especially since my phone is off & Im just using my daughters , I could tweet it as an option Apple would see quicker as it shows but can you believe I just tapped the twitter bird, & ive never tweeted officially but just following a few people the other day would not be reason to see MY Twitter conveniently added to this mobile & I was never on the site from this cell, im not is associated I saw it initially & now it is gone which is also discriminating as what I type they control too including this just being another cell on ATT so if Apple made this iPhone nor share any Apple ID. My cell was remotely invaded along with 22 other devices including apple tv & our apple express before I unplugged was main hot spot used for their conveniece but they are overboard lurking into my mobile ATT as Im not joined to WIFI but they are totally burglarizing my every move . So with this said Im hoping my previous post will show back up because I see no reason it wasn’t approved + this Is so incriminating & unfair to know I cant be free to voice where there is an opportunity for public comment ?? Ill tweet my previous one more time if it doesnt show soon … Wish me luck !

Just wondering if you indeed ever get anything resolved from corporate ? Seeing you were mad enough to sue Apple & bring in the CEO name individually? However, I can feel your frustration & Ive unfortunately just starting to take Corporate action & really regret it. Unfortunately regret having so much trust in Apple /All Apple products to be treated how I have knowing I even have Applecare blows my mind. Yeah Ive luckily got a victim with true evidence of discrimination & Big Time Legal wanted to try mediation @Apple Corporate before putting total corruption out there. . My unforeseen wasted time & energy to date is worth as much as Apple’s worth in my heart but I can say truthfully its knowing Applecare was not genuine & has turned into a surreal picture Id rather never been involved. Of course its suppose to be this way a shadow. Im hoping that Corporate will indeed care since this continues & remotely unjustified . Lucky the proof on paper in a firesafe box vs “cloud ” may bring some relief + “good faith ” . So just wanting true support has turned threatened & unsafe which sounds absurd& is a real horror story for us but seeing this post brings a frown because why we cant control the world , we must have faith however I do personally realize chances Apple may feel this right to a huge degree. With much control in this world by growth in wealth still hope corporate will react cuz this is no jobe (joke).
Yeah Im even a target of unjustified connections which has brought much anxiety but Am a good person that dont deserve such treatment . Now its unfortunate to see how much may really be involved as an Applecare customer that just initially just wanted true
technical support .

I have been a loyal apple customer for years. I have been fighting an immune system disorder for 2 decades and am reliant on myself and my computer for subsidizing my livelihood. My 7 year old I-Mac has one of the defective components in it that overheats the screen. I have lost almost half of my screen viewing and am told that the LCD will go out at any time. The replacement part is as much as a new computer, and buying another used I’Mac will lead to the same problem. I’m desperate for a new desk I-Mac for my writing and art/photshopping. Do you have any kind of grant or other program for helping out someone with disabilities? I would appreciate any help or information that you can give me. Respectfully.

Trina July 23, 2014 at 9:16 pm

I also have been a loyal Apple Customer, and am now experiencing one of the worst nightmares of my life! I have been dealing with Best Buy Retailer, and will never purchase anything from them ever again. Had an Appli IPad, purchased 7/27/13 in Manufactures and additionally purchased retail protection plan. Took. Y original unit in on 6/9/14 with an over heating problem, The assoc. told me it was probably just a battery problem, but it couldn’t be fixed in store, what they said is they send mine to repair, and ship me out a new now within 5-7 days. Also I asked why they could not just take one off the shelf? The assoc. replied “could not take out of store inventory” but again assured me about receiving again he said “new one, should get it within 5-7 days” approx. the 6th day I received a UPS notice so I went the next day and pick it up. When I went to pick it up I could tell right away it was not new the box was Crush in, and had no labeling handle with care on the packaging or anything. I had UPS associate remove the iPad from the box to make sure there was no apparent physical damage to the unit, I then took the unit home and also noticed the button on the unit was not functioning correctly so at that point I took the unit to an Apple store. That is when Apple told me that it was a refurbished unit with third-party parts in it, and that Apple would not take or except the iPad in accordance with the manufactures warranty, the iPad has been altered by someone other than an Apple technician. So I took the unit back to Best Buy ask them why I did not receive a new unit they said that is how they handle their repairs is they issue a refurbished unit. I told them Then that I had been lied to that I was told by the store so XXXXX I was getting a new one. They said there was nothing they could do they had to go by the protection plan which I never received a copy of the time of purchase not until about the middle of June when we asked for a copy of the plan, and at that point they said all they could do was the same thing a rapid exchange and I would receive another refurbished unit. I am very unhappy with Best Buy and how they handle An IPad problem in Manufactures warranty, by tampering with it they completely void the manufactures warranty unhappy with Apple at the fact that they do not control the repairs of their own products, and if there is no kind of notice letting the customer know that there are companies that use their own technicians and third-party parts and worn the customer that this voids the manufacturers warranty there’s no labeling on the original packaging. Then Apple will not do anything to help the consumer myself either! The refurbished units that Best Buy are issuing out also with the third-party parts are malfunctioning I am now as of June 9 or since June 9 on my fourth unit all the ones that they have given me have had a malfunctioning issue I still do not have an iPad that is working, so another words I’m out over $650 and I do not believe a consumer should not be treated this way at all.

I am a realtor in Reno, Nv and have an Apple 4G. I have had the phone for about 1 1/2 years. The phone has been a terrific asset in running my business however I have run into problems recently with the phone. There are times that I will plug it in to recharge over night and nothing happens and then there are times that it will not come on at all. Then later in the day it will mysteriously come on. The end of June I took it to the Apple store at the Summitt Mall in Reno, Nv. They reloaded the programs and the phone worked perfectly for about 2 weeks. Friday 7/11 I took it back to The Apple Store because the phone started doing the same thing. Someone looks at it and told the Apple employee that there was rust in it. The employee that was helping me told me there was nothing to do but replace the phone for $149.00. I asked to speak to the Store Manager and he offered the same thing. I told them I was due for an upgrade this fall. Couldn’t I get some sort of interim solution. No help so then I asked for the phone number for the District Manager—there is no district manager. They told me to contact corporate. So I got on your complaint department, filled out the form and at the end of the form—they ask for $25.00 to submit it. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! My whole office is laughing by now. I have been in some sort of sales my whole life, for a number of years I was the Human Resource Manager for Macy’s in Reno. I can promise you that no manager at Macy’s would ever made that kind of decision. I hope that you can assist my with my phone which once again is not working without being plugged in.

Typically I don’t do the whole file a complaint thing. I usually take my lumps and move on, or I let my wife blog about it. I think this called for more than a blog rant or conversation about disappointment over dinner. I’ve enjoyed using my Apple products until recently. One of the Iphones that I own has a problem with the home button. My daughter and I went to the Apple store in Leawood, Kansas, and attempted to explain the issue I was having with my phone. When we walked in it was the typical buzz of the store and a few free sales associates not too busy to be ignored. We walked in and we were passed by several employees. 4 to be exact and we didn’t get greeted, or even looked at. We continued just past the middle of the store, and still no greeting. We attempted to ask for help. The first lady completely ignored us. My daughter approached with an “excuse me” and the lady completely disregarded her. I attempted to speak to the same lady because (maybe the music was too loud) and no response. I was looked at and ignored. I brushed that off to maybe she was having a rough day. We get to the rear of the store and ask for assistance. We get the attention of an employee, and I explain to him that my home button is malufunctioning. The young man looked at me and listened. I showed him my phone and asked him what I had to do. The young man asked for my Iphone and I gave it to him. He took a flash light out his pocket and examined my Iphone in the middle of the store. He proceeded to explain in an indescreet manor that my Iphone appeared to have been wet and the indicator was red meaning the device was went. He added that corrosion on the phone may effect the home button. He opened the steeing menu and put an on screen home button on the phone and set up an email appointment for a repair then told me that it would be a certain amount. I attempted to explain again that my phone has never been dropped or placed in water and that the indicator of moisture could be from condensation, or snow melt or a multitude of things. The young man dismissed what I was saying and repeated it looks like this phone was submerged in water or gunk may have piled up in the button. He offered me very little solution for my issue. I was willing to even buy another phone, butthe conversation never made it that far. he treated me as if I wanted something free or I was just complaining to complain. To make a long story short the treatment of my daughter and I was very bad. I frequently shop of Nordstrom and your service could take a lesson from whatever their business model is for customer service. I still have an unresolved issue with my iphone and I need to get this fixed before I make up my mind on wether or nit to continue to use more of your products. That store could use a retrain on retail etiquitte and customer treatment, or maybe even profiling its customers.

Debbie Sutherby July 7, 2014 at 3:11 pm

did an upgrade on my iphone 4 Thursday. it locked it up they want to charge me 199.00 for a new phone. hello it was working fine until I added your software upgrade to it. several others in the store Saturday with a 4 were having the same issue a 4013 error code. why should I have to pay for your software malfunction. genious bar restored it said it did not work until they discovered I wasn’t buying a replacement and then they got it to come back on but today it is at the apple icon and just flashes off and on and says battery is in red but I have had it on charger for 2 hours. as soon as I take it off I get a battery symbol.

As you can tell by my signature, I’m not only an apple user, but ALL of my products are apple. 1 Mac, 2 iMacs, 2 iPhones, 3 pads. Recently my ipad 4 completely went out immediately following an IOS update. I am very disappointed because I contacted apple 5 times today (case 632202802) and several times they starred my trouble shooting from scratch. After voicing my opinion regarding my previous trouble shooting issues….I was instantly disconnected (the reps all hung up) yes! Not once but 4 times. All because I stated “I’ve been doing this all day.” And because I asked to to connected to the previous department that I spoke with. “Senior representatives” I’ve been working on this since 10 a.m it is now 6.00 pm central. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in apple. I have more than 10k worth or devices and about 3k in iTunes items. I can’t get anyone to help me. The I pad I’ve had for a little over a year and it’s already dead. This definitely discourages me from ever purchasing another apple product. My Apple ID is This is horribly disappointing! I’m not sure if you will read this or even respond but I wanted to at least try to communicate the technical issues within your organization and much more urgent, your customer service issue. The fact that I was hung up on by three reps speaks volumes about apples customer care. It’s very unfortunate.

I am a Apple fanatic. I have notebook, ipads, iphone, apple wifi networks, Apple TV, every stuff. But I am sad because I am having bad store experiences with Apple retail stores. I visit the US every year to buy new stuff. I had some experiences last year in 3 apple stores Chicago, Toronto and Boston and this year in 3 different stores in Miami at Dade, Aventura and Lincoln Road stores. The best of all was Dade Mall Store. But at all others the things run almost the same. The guy that atend me aways do it in robotic way, they don,t show that really wanna help you and if you ask many questions they seem bored. For the first time in years, I had the wish to buy an Android or WinPhone only because I felt being a number in apple accounts. This is not a good sign. Fortunately, there are some good sales people there yet, but the yellow light is on for me now.

Don’t know if this is considered a breakthrough or not, but completed a whole music video only using iMovie. It was a revaluation for me. Always knew iMovie was a nice easy way to create home movie projects, but for me, I was able to squeeze every last bit of it’s resources to create a semi-professional music video. That entry level software is pretty damn powerful!

I have an product idea for Apple. I could not find an e-mail or proper contact number to speak with someone about it. Can someone from the proper department contact me about this exciting business idea. I may be contacted via e-mail or phone (772) 696-XXXXX. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

I’m trying to find a POC to talk to in reference to donating to a Childrens hospital. About 60 kids that are fighting for their lives everyday. A little care from others will make their day go a long way. Thanks in advance.

I’m not playing with Apple. Wrong Custer very irate and upset. I called Corporate the lady said send a fax or email and fail to identify herself. I advise everyone file Better Business Bureau report and the more reports they are given a letter F for failing. Then seek legal. Talk is cheap ACTION works. I recorded all conversations about my technical support issue. Sue the hell out of Tim Cook! They said they couldn’t give me to legal because I wasn’t an attorney. Get the hell out of here.

Just saw what your working on with the iphones and being able to record police misconduct . Have you no shame , do you want to let this happen over money. Move to China and do business there

Your new commercial with the bad music is so annoying I have to mute it every time it’s on. You also have no way to contact you and tell you so I’m here. I won’t ever I mean ever buy an apple product because you have made such an annoying commercial. I don’t know who your ad man is but he should be fired. I hate it so much that I was compelled to contact you. You could have at least made a decent song with your devices not the trash that just sticks in your head in a bad way. A song you want to forget. Such a negative experience for a company with a reputation of quality products. Why such a non-quality commercial. If I had a commercial blocker I would put you on top of the list. I willingly watch commercials that support my viewing choices, but not yours.

Hi I do apologize for last email, I was having some anger management issues.
Well, I still think Cook will have big shoes to fill. I throw a book out in the streets which was Mr Jobs life. Anyhow The ability to pin point and open pages on screen was the best apple did.
I just find many windows open when you change passwords and others. Could that be done behind without customers seeing so many new windows opening up.?

Today I went to the Apple store in The Westchester, White Plains NY, I went to purchase a MacBook Air for my wife for Mothers Day, I had done my research and told Jim (Associate) what i was looking for and in 5 minutes he had it out and ready to go. I gave him my debit card which he ran and due to a fraud alert it was declined and by bank called me to confirm the purchase. Jim said he would run the card again which he did and after i punched in my pin code the machine lost power. Once again Jim ran my card and now it came up declined once again and i then called the bank. Much to my surprise the bank told me that the purchase was approved the second time the card was run and the funds had already been removed from my account. I explained this to Jim who checked his computer and could not find any record of the purchase. After much discussion with the staff and my bank i was told there was nothing Apple could do and it was a glitch in the system and I should wait a few days to see if it clears and if the money is put back into my account. I could not believe what was happening to me, I had just had $2,135.33 taken out of my account and was walking out of the store with nothing.
I then called the Apple Customer Service and a very nice gentleman listened to my story but in the end could do nothing to help me. Now please understand I am not new to Apple we currently have 1 Imac, 3 MacBooks, 2 Ipads and 2 Iphones and they have all been purchased from the Apple Store.
I ask you, is this how you treat a loyal Apple customer? Sunday is Mothers Day and my 3 boys and I had hopes of giving there mother a special gift, in one hand we will have her cards and in the other only the broken promises of Apple.

Darren May 8, 2014 at 7:45 am

I bought an I pad 4 days ago and I can’t find even a call centre to call and help.

lisa May 6, 2014 at 7:02 pm

Apple you’re customer service sucks!!! you may be a multi million or billion dollar corp, but you have the worst customer service and it will catch up to you.
I own my own company and would never treat my customers as a number.
Be leary of this as it will eventually hurt your reputation.

John May 5, 2014 at 2:25 pm

About to sue the crap out of apple!! Have had it with the lack of communication between reps and not able to rectify issues that have been brought to there attention! I was able to contact there CEO, but that was useless do to the fact that he don’t care about his customers. So I moved forward and sent out a BBB complaint! All I know is I am done with apple.. I have not only been fighting for a week to get a device replaced or upgraded, but I almost lost my job because of it! I am threw playing games! All I can say is I hope there ready!

DG May 6, 2014 at 2:37 pm

John, they ignored their swelling battery issue (MBP) for a long time and then offered a replacement battery, yet that does not fix the problem. The new one swelled too! It caused damage to the strip above it, which controls the keyboard and trackpad. They haven’t worked correctly since and Apple refused to fix them saying the computer parts age and break. The problem was design based, not age. I’ve owned several laptops in the past, without a swelling battery issue, and would gladly buy a new battery if it wore out by natural causes instead of design deficit. I did discover how to STOP it with my third battery. IF you drain the battery for maintenance, as Apple asks you to do, you must NOT use the computer as it starts to recharge. You must let it recharge then use it otherwise the battery will swell. This is what happen both times to my MBP.

Your issue may be different, however the answer from Apple is the same: “to bad, to sad, buy other one.” If I had the resources, I would have started a class action suit; good luck.

George Patsilivas April 29, 2014 at 7:40 am

Good day to the Apple World and all its Top Corporate Executives who have been leading Apple all these years and who strive, everyday, without a doubt, to keep Apple a leader in various fields including the Smart Phone sector.

To be a leader of the Smart Phone empire is, most definitely, not an easy task. Having all level of competition follow in your footsteps is what every Smart Phone developer endeavors to accomplish.

For the next company that revolutionizes the way the consumer connects with their Smart Phone they will definitely have conquered the lion’s share in the Smart Phone Industry.

Knowing your competition:
Level 1 competitors: all major android developers, with advertising expenses and overhead costs just like Apple.
Level 2 competitors: the aftermarket ‘wanna bees’ who are cashing in today with no high overhead costs and basically no advertising expenses, thus, gaining high profits yearend.

But most important for Apple, with every aftermarket Smart Phone sold, that automatically eliminates one potential customer for Apple.

At 46 years of age, born and raised in Montreal, Quebec I have to state that I have experienced a lot in my life’s journey. Am now residing in Athens, Greece, and have done a lot of R&D on a personal level, through my travels to various parts of the world, discussing and exchanging ideas with the everyday consumer of multicultural backgrounds in the last decade. Understanding what people really want and need is crucial to be a leader; especially when the consumer says “I own a Smart Phone”.

Here is where Apple revolutionizes the Smart Phone. Apple is going to give the consumer, no matter what age group, level of education, status or occupation, a Smart Phone that is going to be adopted by the consumer as A WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE. An “APPLE EXPERIENCE” of course.

Introducing Apple Smart:
1. Apple’s New Generation Smart Phone (A.N.G.S.P.) plus
2. Apple’s Executive Series New Generation Smart Phone (A.E.S.N.G.S.P.)

To achieve and surpass all consumer expectations – Plus!!!

After all my years of R&D, I know the everyday person, (the consumer), is anticipating something a lot more personalized a lot more “Smarts” in their Smart Phone.

I, personally, have not even started.
Humbly hoping and praying that any one of the Top Apple Corporate Executives will grant me an opportunity to inject a little more light into the New Generation Smart Phone project by forwarding me a private e-mail address, of one of your corporate executives, where more can be disclosed.
This privacy is, allow me to say, in order to protect both Apple and myself in potential future rights.

The re-birth of the Smart Phone is destined.

Apple will be the one who will make all consumers line up to acquire their New Generation Smart Phone, as it will be a whole new living experience.

I predict that it will be the most talked about subject in 2015 and all previous Smart Phones will become a thing of the past.

To give you some insight: Dream Project in Line
Project 1 on hand
a) Apple’s New Generation Smart Phone (A.N.G.S.P.) plus
b) Apple’s Executive Series New Generation Smart Phone (A.E.S.N.G.S.P.)
Plus all future upgrades for the aforementioned models are complete
Also, an extreme makeover for both models within the following 3-4 years in order to guarantee leadership in the market and consumer satisfaction.

Project 2 ONE cel-app to connect the world
Looking forward to bring to life this feature within 2014, connected with Apple’s i-cloud and Amazon web server to sync, connect the world to ONE cel-app.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

Looking forward to receiving a response.

George Patsilivas

Samuel Bolt April 28, 2014 at 3:32 pm

Hi there, I heard on the radio that you were trying to come up with a way to render a mobile phone inoperable while driving to comply with new laws about driving and texting/calling, If that’s true then I have some ideas regarding this that might help you succeed in this. My email is already provided if your interested.
Sam Bolt

Sandra Payne April 23, 2014 at 7:08 am

As you know we have a huge problem with drivers texting while driving. I suggest that for further phones, there be a device that will automatically detect that a driver is in his vehicle and shut the prompt for texting off. This would save many lives. Thanks… from a concern citizen!

Ugh yea i had gone into one of the locations in Lewiston maine and i had an “interview” with the hiring manager lorraine and i feel she discriminated against me due to my disability i am extremely hyperactive and i told her that and at the end she pretty much kicked me out of her office because she got irritated cuz of the fact that i was being very hyperactive!!! 8 sm f***ing irrate and i tell you if i do not get hired duee to my disorder i will find a lawyer and persue action!! Yoyr supposed to be an equal opportunity employer and that means your supposed to not get irratated at a potential employee cuz a disability they have! She even called me a crackhead cuz that was the way i came across!!!!!

John D April 3, 2014 at 11:44 am

Your disability is not “hyperactivity.” If your post on this page is any indication, it is far more likely to be mental illness. Not to mention, someone who desperately needs to brush up on their spelling and grammar. A private company, such as Apple, has no obligation to hire someone who is likely unqualified for the job, but will make customers and fellow employees uncomfortable.

I had 2 tech issues re the i pad, and apple tv, contacted customer service, and asked to be called at home, within minutes i had a wonderful call froma bright ,polite gentlemen who solved my problem in minutes, later in the day i had another issue, and once again was called at home and in a few minutes had another problem resolved, by yet again a polite and bright rep. of apple. The best customer service i have ever received from any major corp.Truly….

D Mariner March 3, 2014 at 4:37 pm

Dear Mr Cook:

In light of your rather bizarre comments requesting that those who disagree with you on the issue of global warming or climate change need not invest in Apple, I’ve decided to heed your advice.

I tell you what Mr. Cook I will do as you ask and more . This week I will sell my stock, and toss the ipod, ipad, Mac and iPhone out by the end of the week. I will never purchase or use another Apple product again.

Further you stated that “Business isn’t just about making a profit” I find that comment rather laughable considering you manufacture your products in Chinese sweatshops using cheap labor rather than producing your products in the USA and using American workers. Your products are not cheap either. They are overpriced and fixed by Apple so that retailers are not allowed to discount them. So your comments are rather confusing Mr Cook and rather hypocritical as well.

So long Apple and Mr Cook, you can sod off.

Robert Dailyde March 3, 2014 at 11:25 am

I would like to say that Apple has been very helpful, and friendly every time that I have dealt with them. I have a 5s and an Ipad air, both are excellent products! And I would recommend them to anyone.

Kris Rodriguez March 1, 2014 at 8:01 pm

Worst computers and worst customer service at Apple Store at The Falls, Miami. I just learned from one of the “genious” of the Apple Store that if you move your laptop too many times the hard drive gets damaged. So I guess I forgot to read the warnings of moving around an Apple laptop. Instead of buying an Apple laptop I should have bought a cheaper computer that I could move around.

Tatiana Thornton February 26, 2014 at 3:36 pm

I have my MacBook Pro with Retina Display since September 13, 2013. I pay $2,182.91 during the time of December my display got crack by a rock, because it was windy outside. I’m a college student and doing an online learning. I now need to pay $750 for my crack screen which is sad, because I still have warranty before September 14, 2014. I want to turn in my laptop to get some of my Grant money back so I can get myself a better Tablet from Microsoft. I have nothing but trouble with this laptop since I got it fix on November 2013 for water in my display when I bought the product. I need to do my homework and my class work so I can better myself, but I can’t really do that with a broken screen. All I want is to leave this computer alone and get myself a better product to do my classwork.

Robin February 20, 2014 at 1:29 pm

I have a iPhone 5c that I purchased in September 2013. I am EXTREMELY upset with the APPLE store on Friendly Ave in Greensboro. I had taken this phone once because the glass on the upper part of the phone was coming unattached showing the internal lights and parts. The technician pushed in back in at that time. It recently did the same thing accept this time the glass was on the top as well as the sides. However the phone itself worked. Because I could not get to the APPLE store due to my mother having surgery the pressure of using the phone cracked the glass. Where the phone was protruding the most cracked so I put tape on so as to not cause anything else as well as hole in the top of phone cracking. Over this time it caused a tiny bit of spreading in a single thin line. It was still working. Today, 02-20-2014 I took it to the apple store. When the technician came back the glass was in although parts of glass missing. The phone will not even come on at all. Nothing. I am very upset, if he knew it was not going to work at all he should have said so. I have no phone at all working and an extremely unhelpful and rude experience. This is unacceptable in the most extreme manner. I plan to keep sending messages such as this until someone does something. Going to get something fixed should never result in the total loss of something as important as a phone. My family has every apple possible. This will not go unnoted. They completely broke my phone.

Kathryn February 19, 2014 at 1:59 pm

New app. Idea in progress, especially designed for Apple products. Does not currently exist. Contact if interested.

CANT BELIEVE HOW IVE BEEN TREATED, never never could a company that has a money, power, and good rep as Apple who treat me so poorly, why can’t Apple executive can’t talk to me but as many other large companies I guess Apple could care less if the SCREW a few very hard working family man, but I guess fool me once shame on you fool me 2 shame on me, I can’t believe on 2 causes I was told arrangement for a phone replacement, who happen at a apple store after driving 2 hour 1way I was turned down and both times Apple support told the would replace, one time after spending 45 minutes waiting, and anther hour for trouble shooting and hour I did NOT receive a phone EVEN THOUGH Apple care said I needed one, 2 days later it broke and got replaced after another two hour one way trip 4 hours round an hour and 45 mins at the store it was replaced, now my phone would shout of and the last time it took 45 min before numerous attempts of cold boots it came on, a Apple cares did work with me but when I drove the 4 plus hour round trip I showed up 4 yes four minutes late they said I need to wait a few hours before the could help, I had to take off work with out pay, had a very small window of time and Apple cares said he called and to ensure it would only take a 10 or 15 minutes because time was an issue, and he talk to the same store, and said no issue, but guess 4 min late means screwing a customer, all from same store, had a phone from Apple lasted one hour because the batter was no good took another 6 hours off work, I guess why can’t I talk to a EXECUTIVE I can’t I guess I can tell another evil company like the Madoffs, walmart, and Verizon that customers DONT MATTER, it’s bad this was our first and maybe last time I will use Apple not been a user for less then 1 year and have a couple other stories too

Sheliah Payne February 11, 2014 at 3:39 pm

I have had my phone only two days before it crashed and when I called apple they told me to take the phone back to the store where I got it from. But unfortunately AT&T doesn’t take back iPhones because of the apple policy which sucks!!! There isn’t an Apple store in the state of West Virginia to even take the phone back to!!! So they tell me I need to mail the phone to them express and they will put an $30 hold on my credit card to send it back or I could mail it back and it takes 7 to 10 ten days!!! I only had the phone 2 days that’s crazy why should I pay to have one mailed to me which is crazy!!!! Not only that I bought for phones totally out to $2500.. So they waive the $30 hold but wanted to put a $650 charge on my card to make sure they got the phone back!!! So we agreed to just send the phone back first with no additional charges. Then today they call and say that they will not send the box for the phone until I erased the phone!!! So which means I’m still out of a phone and I have to wait until they receive the phone!!! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. If you are going to have a policy that only Apple can replace the phone then there should be a store here where customers can take their phones!!!! You didn’t wait until to recieve my money so why should I wait to recieve my phone!!!!!!

robert dirnfeld February 7, 2014 at 1:00 pm

apple customer service excels in NOT giving customers the appropriate customer service, this company sucks, I am going back to SAMSUNG which does excel in its customer service

Mitchell Jacobs February 3, 2014 at 9:58 am

I received an engraved I Pad 4 for this past Christmas form my wife. It was having problems. After diagnostic testing Apple agreed that it needed to be replaced. The Apple rep advised me a new one would be sent to my home. When received mailed the damaged one back. When the new one came it wasn’t engraved as promised. I called Apple and spoke with another rep. She send I had to mail back the one I just received, which I did. She sent me a box to send my damaged Ipad. Once received she will order the new one. Forget that this has now taken over 3 weeks to correct, the problem I have why do I have send my damaged Ipad before receiving a new one? I explained to the rep when your phone is damaged you don’t send it in until you receive a new one plus Apple posts a $600 charge to my credit card until the damaged one is returned. I should be be receiving a new one before I send back the damaged one. I use the Ipad for work and now I will not have one for at least two weeks. This is totally unacceptable and horrible customer service. Reapir id D114410649

My daughter who is visually impaired and depends on her IPhone for everything, has a problem with the power button not functioning, she has one of the phones from the first release. We went to the local Apple store and they offered a $269 replacement. The store seem indifferent to the problem. That is ridiculous! This is a know problem with what should be a quality product, there should be a more cost effective way. We have been an apple family since the 2E and currently have 4 IPhones, 3 Mac laptops and 4 IPads. Please don’t ruin a beautiful relationship, there must be something better.
Please let me know, what can be done

Sandy Worth January 29, 2014 at 6:51 pm

My name is Sandy Worth and my family and I have been Apple users for years. Currently we have four I-phones, 1 I-pad and 1 Mac Up until this point we have been very pleased with our Apple products and always recommend them.

However when my husband downloaded your IOS update recently (we all did, his phone was the only one that had this problem), it seems that it over heated his phone (thats what they told us at the Apple Store in Smithhaven Mall, Smithtown, NY) and now the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options are grayed out and do not work. Basically we were told they were sorry and offered to replace his phone for $199.0. While I realize that $199 is a very good deal on a replacement phone, we work very hard for our money and I don’t think that we should have to incur additional cost to get a new phone, when prior to the update his phone worked perfectly.
I would like to have his I phone 4S replaced at no cost to us.
Please contact me asap and thank you for your assistance.

Diane Aiello April 6, 2014 at 2:48 pm

Same thing happened to my phone. Was the issue resolve…..I also have a 4S.

DH January 14, 2014 at 3:07 pm

How surprised I was to find that I could not get my e-mail on my I-Phone 5. I scheduled an appt at the genius bar to find that the person who was assigned to “fix” this issue was unable to do so. I was told it was an AOL issue and that I should go home and call AOL. Instead, I went home and called my future son-in-law who is a cardiology resident. Within 8 minutes, the problem was rectified. Moral of the story: If you have a problem with your Apple products, do NOT rely on an Apple genius…ask a cardiologist.

Teresa January 7, 2014 at 8:54 pm

I miss my iPhone!!! I let a friend talk me into using my upgrade that I was going to purchase the iPhone 5s to buy the Samsung Note 3. What a mistake. I hate it. I would give anything to have my iPhone back. There is no comparison. Apple keep making the great products. I will be back as soon as I’m due another upgrade and I won’t make that mistake again.

If there is anyway I can trade my Samsung Note 3 in for an iPhone or purchase a refurbished iPhone cheap, please please let me know. I can’t afford to pay full price. I work in a prison and I’m a single mom with 2 teenagers.

If it sounds like I’m begging to come back….it’s because I am 🙁

Thank you,

To whom this may concern,

I have recently submitted a job application on Feb 4th, 2013. I have
not heard anything since then regarding another interview. I had
recently applied on April 10th 2012 and had did a interview with a
Aaron Jesus on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 – 1:00 p.m.. I felt that Aaron
Jesus did not take me very seriously as I feel I would make a great
candidate to provide excellent customer service to apple guests If
someone could get in contact with me regarding this matter that would
be much greatly appreciated. I called the 1-408-996-1010 and I had
the same operator pick up the line and she transferred me to what was
supposed to be HR 408-974-4701. I recently filed out another application again and I wanted to make sure it went to the correct department. Your customer service ladies are very very rude as they just want to transfer you and there getting away with it and you just end up going around in a big circle. I am willing to do what ever it takes
to become a part of the apple team and for the past year I have had
the run around and have gotten discouraged to the point were im not
certain who to contact or how to go about this.

My long term experience in the service industry has taught me how to
meet and exceed each customers expectation with service. From past
experience and education, I have acquired skills to deal with people
in a professional and courteous manner.

My leadership skills are developed and have allowed me to
spontaneously interact with ethnic diverse populations and all age

I am a motivator and organizer and these skills have enabled me to
effectively defuse problem situations with customers in a tactful

Teamwork is another skill I have acquired and one I know is necessary
to get the job done correctly, and I am eager to learn new skills.

My experiences complement what you are looking for as a Apple At Home
Advisor and I am a reliable and dependable candidate who would be
proud to work for you as I believe I would be an asset to the company.

Reina French December 10, 2013 at 12:25 pm

I am well aware that Steve Jobs the founder of Apple transitioned in 2010 and knowing Mr. Jobs love of his company surely carried his MAC or Ipad with him so he could carefully watch his legacy going forward without him.

So I would greatly appreciate it if you would forward my email to Steve Jobs as I think my story of my first MAC Pro would greatly interest him and the quality control of his company.

My sister gifted me my first MAC Pro. I had my two sons and many many friends recommend the MAC to me as it is tauted to be the best operating system and built to last a lifetime.

Giving great care to my MAC and never taking it out of my house imagine how surprised I was to have my MAC not be able to power on one morning and upon review from a local techi tell me the motherboard was corrosive….MY MAC died.

I have told this story to many and everyone is absolutely amazed this happened and I am greatly saddened as I am retired and living in Costa Rica and economically challenged so I cannot repair, replace or carry it 5hrs one way to the nearest Apple store in San Jose Costa Rica..

I LOST my 12 yrs of travel journals, photos and life experiences in Latin Americas and life story, as well as my grandchildren photos. I am sure this information can be retrieved from the harddrive for another computer but I will not be entertaining another computer

My sister has offered to buy me an HP and the thought of going back to a MS operating system makes me very sad and I just cannot. So rather than having my MAC lasts me a lifetime my choice is to go thought my lifetime without a computer.

I do not expect repair, replacement or any response I just want this email forward to the quality control people, the CEO TimothY Cook and simply ask them…is it possible I GOT a LEMON? There simply isnt another explanation.

I have been looking for the release of the new Ipad mini with wifi and cellular for Verizon at best buy and know one seems to know when it is going to come out. I try to call headquarters and they have no idea. so can anyone tell me when best buy will get the items?

Lu Wright December 5, 2013 at 3:08 pm

Dear Apple:

My wife bought me an IPod Classic to replace my 12 year old IPod Classic that was on the blink. My wife purchased the Ipod Classic from Best Buy, (hereafter BB). After three months the new IPod Classic began to malfunction, so we took it back to BB and they replaced it. Three months later the same thing occurred again, and so back to BB we went. After replacing three IPod classics, BB said they would not replace another and that I had to take it to an Apple store.

Well three months later the fourth IPod Classic quit, and so we went to the Apple store where they replaced it and said that the warranty would expire if I brought it back again.

Well, instead of taking this new IPod to the gym I kept it at home and really “babied it.”

Wouldn’t you know, just five months later it too just quit working altogether.

I believe there is a technical and manufacturing defect/issue with the IPod classics.

Instead of boycotting all Apple products for life, I propose this remedy. I am willing to upgrade to the IPod Touch and pay any difference in price.

If however, we cannot reach a reasonable remedy, I and my family, and all the friends I know, will boycott all of your Apple products for life.

Please contact me ASAP and let me know your answer.

The efficiency & workflow regarding the production of the 5s has been a major disappointment. I have 4 phones on a family plan with sprint. 3 of these phones came up for upgrade and all of us were waiting on the new iphones, specifically the 5s. Since we don’t stand in lines and chose to wait a few days for the phones we have been unable to get them. This is a major mistake on Apples part to put out such a big promotion and then fail to deliver. My daughter picked up her HTC phone yesterday and my son has narrowed it down to a few choices of the windows phones. I have said that I will give it a week or two to get stocks back in. Best Buy had 3 of the phones that I wanted, but would not sell them to me because they were waiting on others to pick them up. They were on the last of a 3 day hold. I found myself foolishly running to places I would not normally go to only to have wasted time and fuel. You have lost 2 of 3 customers for at least 2 years and very close to getting strike 3. I think maybe apple chose this path to claim a sellout of its product, when the reality is they sold out their customers.

The Cost of an Iphone
Ive always been the die hard Iphone guy who wouldnt give an Android the chance, and could rant why its such a better product service and well just a better phone period.

Since the 2g to 3,3gs,skipped to 4s and then 5 and of course I was one of the first in the line for the 5s Ive been a loyal customer, Ive had great service and you cant resist but love an Apple product.

That all changed after purchasing my 4 5s’s. For what this company has always seemed to impress me with ,it beyond disappointed me for lack of a better word or should I say worse words. There was no organization for a launch of one of the biggest selling devices and respected companies today. Getting there at 10pm I was almost positive to get my device as we all waited in the cold and rain on pillows and blankets. Going from 7th to then having a whole section of folks in front of me.(two groups of people having over 40 people come in at 8am right when doors opened But at the time I though nothing bc the nice Apple tech advised me he was sure I would get my phones and not to worry…bc I had no reason to doubt this I did not worry and continued to wait until around 11am when they finally reached us only to tell me me and my gf where the first people not to receive a device. Then telling me that there was nothint the cutting .

After that disappointment I had no choice but to try it one more time. I felt prepared as I knew what to stay away from and look out for so I wouldn’t be jipped out of my spot. Again long lines irritated people and no structure. So bad that I took pics of my spot incase I was again jipped from my chance of the Gold 5s or any 5s as I now lowered my standards to just receiving one. What I experienced was again in no way what I have seen from your company product or the name ever.. People literally shoving and ready to throw blows. After all that I was relieved that this group was not allowing it , I assumed people where trying to keep order and not have a repeat of the prior night. How I was to be presented w a shock when a lady who proudly said she would “score” 100.00 for waiting in line and allowing a man to buy her phones let a few people cut almost 13 hours in to the line… no one said anything, at first I questioned it but after asking everyone there what was the difference it all made since. Not one person in the line was there to actually buy a phone for themselves rather to get vouchers and sell to “Kevin” so it made no difference who sat where as long as they received a voucher and where able to make there money. To me it did bc I wanted four specific Items and did what was needed to get them.

Again,The whole first group of people where all there responding to a Craigslist add offering 50.00 for each voucher totaling possibly 100.00.. There was not one customer who was there bc they where loyal and returning excited for what your company has continued to give.. Good products, service and the loyalty was not there in any form.. Instead you had a group of people hustling your company , and your success to make a buck from your name. Presenting an OR i.d to save every penny down to the taxes and then profit of your product. What mostly discussed me was the employees stressed they would not police the line.. ok but to allow this man to sit in the store and buy hundreds of phones that will sell for no less than 1000.00 each.. The 2nd day they no longer offered vouchers so Kevin would walk up with each person and pay after they would give what info needed (what Apple did to op this very thing) Carrying a back pack and paying in Apple gift cards. Handing one after another and being traded when filled to the other men there helping him. Instead of any employee stopping this they helped and even seemed to like him and even support what he was doing. This does not only raise a red flag but also makes me wonder what the employees have up there sleeve. Not only that but bc of this it caused a very hostile environment. I kindly (bc I had no choice) asked the man paying the people (Kevin) I was standing in line in if I could move up 4 spots to cover her less paid cutters and balance out what spots I’ve lost…(and I only did this bc no employee nor security seemed to care) To be threatened to go outside and possibly be forced to have to protect myself bc he was threatening me. It was time for the lady who I mentioned earlier to go in.. After 15 min seeing her come out screaming and causing a huge scene…Later an associate would tell me that she ordered the 5c and the man refused to pay her. (remember this lady as I will bring her up later) After all this the only thing that kept me there is what I had to put up w.. I refused to leave empty handed again…Around 5pm after being there since 10am I get called in and am told that all the phones where out minus the Sprint and 64 gb in Space Grey… After looking over to see the same manager who said he could do nothing for me and my 2 days of inconvenience, laughing and assisting the hustler bag up the the stack of IPhone’s he had pilled like bars of gold I demanded to spk to someone that would actually help. After having to speak and almost beg 3 diff employees I finally was told I could buy 2 32 gb Gold IPhones and then another two but later at night.. after 8pm…Finally after 1640.32 and another 1640.42 relieved and happy I almost forgot all about the madness.. Im walking outside and I see the lady from early go right back and lay face down on the cold pavement…to see how desperate and to know that the system allowed by the employees and not only that but where contributing to making money and embarrassing the Apple name discussed me..Because I am in recovery and know how desperate people who suffer from this disease literally brought tears to my eyes to see how desperate and how embarrassed this lady had to be… This I know is not what Apple represents or have ever show me and that is why I am taking the time to write this. Please make sure this gets seen by the correct person. This was my first launch date at The Apple store located at the South center mall in Tukwila WA… Every other time the exact opposite experience in Fort Worth TX..

Iphone should come out with an option that you touch when you get in your car and it automatically responds to anyone who texts while your driving stating “I am driving ill text you when I’m done”.
Or even you could make the app also say I am with company ill text back when in done.

An idea for everyone.

Debra Ellis September 27, 2013 at 9:13 am

Hi Apple,

This is not a complaint it is a request. My name is Debra Ellis I live in Uniontown Pa. In my community there is sweet young boy name Brandon who is Autisic he doesn’t speak. Brandon has no voice and he attends school their is a communication application that helps him to communicate with people. The school is unable to provide a iPad for Brandon to communicate regardless of where he is home or school. Brandon is fifteen now and being unable to communicate is becoming a increasing obstacle for him. Brandon is the most loving individual anyone ever wants to meet. I am asking APPLE to give Brandon a voice to the world by donating an IPad to Brandon Murray.

Sandy September 26, 2013 at 10:10 am

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE restore the former calendar format. HATE HATE HATE the iOS 7 format. I have poled everyone I know who has an iPhone or IPad (some of us have both) ans, so far, the new calendar format is biggest complaint. Next biggest complaint is cartoonish style that now dominates the look of everything. Thank you.

I find it insulting that Apple has decided to list Jerusalem, the Capital City of Israel as having no affiliated country. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and is recognized as such by all leading nations including America. This oversight is a slander in the face of all who were born in Jerusalem and all who visit her. I can no longer support a company that does such an insulting thing.

Sarah September 22, 2013 at 12:50 am

On Friday, September 13th, I was driving into work for a baking shift at 3am. Unexpectedly, I was taken through a detour and very quickly became lost. It was dark, raining relentlessly & every street I turned to was completely impassable. Attempting another dead end, a wave broke over my car and before I knew what happened I was swimming out of my driver side window. Swept under the current to a barbed wire fence wedged between only that and a lonely telephone pole. Pulling myself up neck deep in water in a very unforgiving current. Realizing when I came to the surface I was still, thankfully, gripping to my cell phone for dear life. And it was. It survived through a call to my boyfriend. Allowing me to frantically tell him I loved him & where I thought my location was. Even still after saying goodbye and what I thought would be my last & only call, the screen stayed lit, reacting to every push of a button. Calling 911, successful. Even so that it stayed alive for the 2 hours I held on, allowing me to talk with the dispatcher until a life boat was finally able to reach me. Once they got hold of me I wouldn’t let go of the phone. They had to rip it out of my hands & threw it into the water-filled boat. Later after the rescue and recovery from hypothermia, a firefighter came to my hospital room and handed me my cell phone he found practically “floating” in the boat. He thought I should have it as a keepsake being that it was STILL functioning. This phone saved my life. I would not be alive without it. I wanted to share this story with Apple. Had I had anything other than that particular cellular device in my hand- I wouldn’t be writing this email. It was my only connection to the world when I was completely stranded. At the very least, the first phone call was the one that mattered. But I’m happy it made it through both. Even if no one gets the chance to read this from your team- thank you to everyone who worked on this product.

I am the reason for Edward Snowden recent falling from the central Intelligence the united states constitution being placed on hold . There are many things the torture on United States soil has cause because of the personalities I have had from a baby and there on. My father had Harry S. I really need your help more than that they have done the same to my children and I would really like to explain and I can unless you can take my word there are health and human rights violations happening on united states soil that will carry over onto others on united states soil and in the countries where the united states to espionage.

My youngest baby Steven Dawn Gribble they tried to rip outside of my cervix with transparent technology because of me not being aware that I was a part of this Intelligence program without knowing about it where they place the president of the united states of America at that time as a permanent biological personality. Barack Obama is African American and to keep me from learning of the program why she would turn out to look the way she did, They tried to kill her the entire pregnancy with Government technology they have also tried to hurt my other children. I need to know who you would think would donate money to help me escape from the contamination of my body that has happened the last three year. Thank you for your time.

Prisque DOMITILLE August 19, 2013 at 11:35 pm

I purchase 9 cell phone products and 3 iPads for my family. I was having issues with my recently purchased iPhone5, so I decided to take it to the apple store in pentagon city. I met Brett who was responsible to help me out. He was rude and unwilling to help me out. Because I have an accent, he was laughing at every word that I was saying with his colleagues. I never felt so embarrassed and disrespected. I asked for the manager on the floor. Natalie was her name , and she too was unwilling to help. I was explaining to her the situation that occurred with my phone and what happened with Brett. As I was complaining, I could tell that she did not care about helping me and it did not seem like she was willing reprimand Brett for his rude behavior towards a customer. She brushed it off as if nothing had occurred. At the end of my appointment, I felt the store feeling disrespected and a phone that had yet to be fixed. I’m so disappointed and I will no longer purchase anymore apple products, because the customer service sucks! It’s heartbreaking because I am such a loyal fan of apple.

Bought iPad 2 sep.2012 took in to apple and was told it was bought in dec 2011, now I have a broken iPad no replacement and am upset. This is the last apple product I will ever buy!

tiney July 26, 2013 at 2:04 pm

Apple is a product that with the name alone comes with intergrity as well as the price. The intergrity is gone but the price stays. A company would live up to a product if they thought it was great. If they do not maybe think about another xmas present this year instead.

I bought an I phone 4s last June 2012 and the speaker blew in December of that same year.i went to the apple store and the technician said he repaired. Not even 1hour later, the same thing happened, went back to the store and they replaced with a new phone.7 months later the same exact thing happened again in July of 2013. I spent 2 hrs on the phone with tech support to no avail.went back to the apple store, and they said they couldn’t help other than pay $200 for another new phone.i was out of warranty by 49 days.even so this seems unreasonable they wouldn’t replace my phone for was not my fault I bought a defective there no such thing as a lemon law? I am an avid apple consumer, I cannot afford to spend the money at this time to replace it,I feel apple should grant me another I phone for free.thank you – please respond!!!

Crystal Young June 1, 2013 at 8:01 pm

I am writing this note as a last effort with my last bit of hope that I may actually get acknowledged. I think that I more than deserve some help at this point. I currently own 2 of the iPhone 4S, an iPod nano 3rd generation, an iPad 2nd generation. This isn’t counting the few apple gifts I have bought, or the many hundreds in iTunes cards I spent. I have no word of a lie gone through 8 iPhones, all were the 4S model since November 2011. The first one I had received lasted about 2 months and the speaker blew. The second one I used for just a few hours and the screen went black and I could not get anything from it, the screen basically just blew on me because it still had sound. The third one I received would get so hot when charging, that it literally burned my face but because it didn’t explode and cause me disfigurement apple didn’t seem to care. The forth one wouldn’t even read my sim card and because I had received this particular replacement in the mail I went the long weekend plus 3 days, so basically a full week without my iPhone. I haven’t mentioned that I take care of 2 elderly disabled people who need to be able to contact me when I am not with them. I was stuck on the phone for at least 2 hours trying to get some kind of replacement in the meantime. Rogers sent me to their store to get a loner and when I arrived they couldn’t help, I was misinformed. At this point I didn’t know what to do other than drive to the nearest apple store, which is an hour away. I stayed an hour past closing with the most helpful apple associate I have ever had and after trying any and everything he could think of I had to leave with nothing. The fifth one would restart itself whenever it felt like. During calls, while music was on, ect. I broke the screen on one of them which was my fault. The 7th one I currently use but it’s only been a week so who knows what problems will arise but I am hopeful. I had to go buy another iPhone outright from another provider because I cannot go without a phone for days on end so that was 400$ and was the 8th. When I called apple they offered me a car charger or a phone case. I was actually insulted by this and didn’t need nor accept either. I have been saving for a macbook for awhile now and had to use almost all my savings for the new phone and all the little costs that added up quickly in between phones. I am a student and the features are amazing for my photography and that’s why I love apple products. I remain a loyal customer and would like to be in the very least treated as a specific case not just a generalization from customer care. I was basically offered no compensation and not only do I have to deal with the broken merchandise, gas money and wear and tear on my car, my own time spent talking to customer service and actually getting burned but the personal frustration I have suffered on top of all of this is upsetting when I am trying to study for tests and take care of my patients that also take up a large part of my spare time and energy. What can apple offer if anything to a loyal customer who still has faith in their company and quality of products regardless of all my time and money wasted. Will apple treat me as an individual and have any compassion for me?

Sally Wierzba May 27, 2013 at 12:33 pm

My husband bought me an iPhone 4 for Christmas, I had help setting it up, just began to use it several days ago. I had forgotten my password and other verification so tried many variations and was blocked. My technically clueless mistake, thanks for the security BUT…

I was told by your tech. support that I’ll have to pay $120 immediately and $20/month for 12 months to access tech. support program to be reconnected. I am retired. Husband and I have an Airbook and his iPhone. We don’t need that kind of program. Really – on top of the hefty payment to my phone company for a program I can’t use – $360 to access my own property??? I am disgusted.

In this Information Age, has anyone in your corporation considered the power you have, how situations like this effect people, and what moral obligations come with that power?

fred May 25, 2013 at 5:55 pm

Your disgraceful appearance before the senate ; hiding your millions off-shore to avoid paying your fair share of taxes, while seniors lose their meals on wheels and children of the poor go hungry only convinces me and anyone I can talk to will boycott all Apple products until you act as a responsible corporate citizen.

Edward Frerks May 7, 2013 at 12:35 pm

Dear Sirs,

My name is Edward Frerks and I live at 71 Bedford Ave in Breezy Point Queens. On October 29, 2012 My family lost our home and all of its contents to hurricane Sandy.

Among the contents were an Ipod Touch, and 4 different Ipod Nanos. Being submerged under 4.75 feet of water was not the best. I also lost an external harddrive with over 15,000 songs and the back up library of the CDs. Some of the music was saved some was not.

Is there any way Apple can help me replace the ipods? As of this email it has been 6 months without any music any quite frankly thats six months too long.

Very truly your,
Eddie Frerks

Hi, my name is Crystal and I have a post on the site as well and I was just curious if anyone has received a comment or email in regards to the comments or complaints we have all listed? I am just curious, not sure if you heard anything back either but thanks.

My wife had a Nano that was affected by the recall due to fires inside of the device. My children and I purchased this Nano for her on her birthday and she loved it. We sent it in to be replaced by the updated Nano and found that it was not the newest version. We would have not turned in the defective Nano if we would have known that we were getting the tiny square device that you cannot hold on to. The Nano that was turned in was a nice device that she could hold like the newer generation of Nano’s. This was a cheap move for Apple and not at all what is right. The Nano that was delivered is not at all like the Nano that we returned. Nasty trick played on a family and a deserving Mother. My wife deserved better.

And whom found them very Affordable and very much needed to make ours and possibly many others devices handy and easier to use with my cool and amazing accessories. If apple where to contact me though my email address given I’m absolutely positive you all would love and would like apart in making my accessories for all devices. Caroline Burgess April 17, 2013 at 11:41 am

My grand daughter has Downs syndrome, can someone direct me to someone that might donate an Ipad to her, these children are better able to learn with that technology. Her parents, are my son daughter-in-law they had Abbie March 1, 2012 and she is intriqued with other peoples I phones. They lost their first little boy a year prior to her birth and were strapped due to them both being laid off, my daughter-in-law was fired due to her problem pregnancy and bed rest orders from her doctor. They are barely scraping along and I and my husband lost our jobs because of plant closings, here in Michigan the job situation is horrible. I would appreciate if your corporation knows of any charitable organization that would help them.

Sincerely,Caroline Burgess

To whom it may concern,
I just have question about laptop donations. Steve Jobs donated laptops to kids who are off to college. Is Mr Cook going to continue this amazing legacy? My son is and Apple Mac user. He has had it since he was a freshman in high school. Unfortunately the screen is damaged and with tuition costs, a new laptop is out of his reach. We are a military family on a tight budget. So if Mr.Cook does begin to donate laptops to college freshman. Please consider my son to be a recipient. Thank you so much for your time, and I truly hope to hear from you soon.

Dear sirs
Could you please put me in touch with the people that develop applications for Garage band. I have invented a hands free system for playing your drums that vastly improves what is available at the moment.
