I worked at yesway in Mason city store 1028 n it’s very toxic the manager let one employee get by with throwing lottery tickets in a customer face. She also knew about the assistant manager getting high on the clock at the store as well as selling drugs at the store. She also was aware of a worker trying to sell weed to customers that would but cigars or blunt wraps. I also made the district manager aware of all of this n she did nothing. Also the store was shut down three days in a row because ppl refuse to work nights or work when their bf is working or when their son is home. The manager also talked bad about ppl but when confronted she never admitted it n it was problems that she should have addressed.
I would just like to point out that the Manager of this store in Marshalltown, Iowa is completely wrong for yelling at another clerk in front of customers and the manager (Buffy Rutledge) and a few others are smoking weed pens in store and the little shed in the back of the store. The poor clerk was by herself and there was a lot of customers and no one was around to help but the manager and other clerks were out back smoking weed, and ppl could smell it. I dont know what your policy is for drugs at this store or any store, but id hate to have to call the police if something isnt done about this.
I have been with yesway for 3 months and have got nothing about Heath insurance but when I called to get information they said I have to wait for November but it is wrong that I have to wait my husband and I have been waiting for my insurance so I can go see a dr about my blood pressure I really can’t wait until November to sign up this is so wrong

Your company needs to needs to review your CSR behind the countter and this kind of person is clearly in lack of judgement on safety….
It is pretty bad company that does there employees like they did me I single handed worked 18 hours a day for 2 weeks because everyone else was quarentein also promised raise when took over as asst manager and back pay I was given that position in Sept and finally got my raise in Jan and o ly back pay gor 2 weeks And then working a year with none for year I had a heat stroke with inside building at 98 degrees and walk into walk in and have my lungs constrict also happened again at end of April and put on I paid leave been waiting and asking when I was getting g ack on schedule snd they keep saying g I don’t k ow now they want keys back snd I keep asking was I fired snd they say no and them today I’m told I was terminated for job abandonment what ki d of company can remodel stores but not put in air conditioner and then refuse workers comp it looks to me like this is grounds gor a very nice lawsuit. And also approved Vacation time snd them never paid

I completely agree with you. I had a similar experience as did at last three other people that would love to testify to that. I contacted corporate offices and nothing has changed.
