The Purple Store was founded in 2004 in Seattle, Washington, by current owner and CEO Adam Sheridan. Sheridan loved everything purple, but found that many manufacturers didn’t make items in purple or they made multi-colored sets and Sheridan only wanted the purple item, so he decided to make a store that sold only items in the color purple.
The company began as an online store, with the brick and mortar location, opening a few years later. The company sells everything from t-shirts, jewelry, kitchen appliances, lingerie, pet accessories, even purple wedding items. Currently ,the store carries 750 items, but has plans for expansion.
The Purple Store has a 5 star rating on Yelp and Facebook. Company headquarters remain in Seattle, Washington.
