With theaters experiencing major losses due to lack of customers, Atom tickets is betting that moviegoers will want to return to theaters if you make things more convenient for them.
The company began in a few select locations, then went nationwide, as well as internationally by expanding into Canada, in 2016.
Television viewers are familiar with this ad, which has been placed in many prime time locations.
The founders feel that young viewers (under 25) are turning away from theaters and need something different to attract them.
The company has stated in interviews that they might expand this model to include dining out, reservations, group sales, and advanced concession sales at other venues, such as sporting events.
