In 2011, Lone Star Funds put together a supermarket portfolio, which included Bi-Lo Markets, Winn-Dixie, Fresco y Mas, and Harvey’s Supermarkets. The company is now the fifth-largest conventional supermarket chain in the U.S. and the second-largest conventional supermarket in the southeast based on store count.

In 2013, Southeastern Grocers acquired 22 Piggly Wiggly’s in South Carolina for $35 million and in the same year, Bi-Lo acquired Harvey’s, Sweetbay and Reid’s banners for $265 million.

on Friday nov 5th 2021. I was in the store located at 10580 Colonial Blvd. ste 101 Fort Myers fl,33913, at apron. 1 pm. I entered the handicap stall area of the mens restroom (due to being disabled I normally use the handicap restrooms. ). upon entering the stall I turned around and locked the stall door and checked to assure that it was locked. I approached the toilet noticed it was quiet dirty. I then cleaned the toilet and proceeded to use the restroom. after a couple minutes I noticed there was someone who entered the restroom. they knocked on the door. I made my presents known by stating. (someone is in here ). I the heard the person fumbling around with what sounded like a small key ring or chain. with keys on it. at this time im thinking its a bathroom cleaner then the locked stall door came open and a gentleman walked inside the stall approximately
3 ft. until I asked what the hell he was doing ,, he then acted as if he suddenly realized what he was doing and exited the. stall and used the urinal I then as I was using the restroom I asked for his name only for him to laugh I told him I was going to report this to the manager and commented about being able to id him because of his shoes .. and the fact he came into my stall… I then went to the manager upon using the restroom the manager called him into her office and questioned him about it. and he told her he didn’t do it I spoke up and mentioned that I seen his face and his shoes. he then asked me if I was a veteran then made the comment that he’s 75 and can’t lose his job.. I feel this is a serious matter and don’t feel it should be swept under the rug… the manager melody. informed me that as far as she’s concerned its simply a big misunderstanding. he’s a model employee. and after speaking to someone with southeastern grocers. was pretty much left with the feeling that they felt it was MY fault this gentleman did what he did. which is extremely disturbing as well as disrespectful in all forms I initially assumed this would be dealt with and that the issue would be corrected. but after being ignored and basically told im a liar and its my fault , its not going to be possible to settle this matter at this level and therefore I do wish to be provided with your attorneys name and contact info
hopefully they will be more understanding of the seriousness of this matter …
i will not allow this to be quietly swept under the rug. what if this person has did this to kids or anyone else for that matter… I couldn’t deal with knowing he did this to me and I could of prevented this from happening to someone else but didn’t because Winn dixie didn’t want to handle this matter … nor address the issue. ..
thank you so much for your time. I just pray we can resolve this issue and hopefully prevent it from happening to any other customers .. feel free to reach out to me directly. at. 239-994-XXXX. west.rick0880@ gmail.com

I have been working at the Winn Dixie in Milton, FL for over 2 years. I work in the deli that is ran by Anthony Howard. This is the worst department to work in. Anthony doesn’t know how to run a deli properly. I will never work for Winn Dixie again and will let everyone know what this store is like. The environment is toxic and people don’t work together. This by far has been the worst job ever. You need to get another manager for the deli – one who cares about his workers and their well being. He is not approachable and I have reported him and a few other managers at this store. A lot of favoritism goes on in this store and you should get rid of your managers here and start fresh.

I had a major issue last week with a store GM in Lake City. I wish to inform whomever oversees same by mail, hard copy. I telephoned CS this morning, told I am not allowed to have their corporate address. She insisted I verbally make my concerns known. I reiterated that I said I wanted to put them in writing. She basically said it was her way or the highway. So, I went online, got what I needed, now the CEO and COO are not only going to hear about my initial problem, but, with this “it’s a secret” answer I kept getting fro CS.

There’s two things I/you can count on in life.
1} The Sun rises in the east.
2} Winn Dixie in Barefoot Bay Fl 32967 will always (that’s infinity) will Screw you at check-out.
Ever time (not some times) Every time I shop and go thru check out the price I’m charged and the price on the shelves is more $
money
This has been going on since you all have taken over..Let non dare call it a conspiracy. The way I see it is when you screw every customer out of penny’s by the end of the day/year it equals millions. TD Bank did it throu there coin counter’s why not you.
The math does not line -up “How could this happen EVERY TIME unless it’s intentional ?
