I had a leak on my roof it was finally fixed. my panels were taken off a year and a half ago I have been fighting to have my panels put back on my roof. They have been charging me my monthly bill the entire time I have had the panels off which I refuse to pay. I was told they will not install the panels back up until I pay the bill of over $2,000 that the solar company racked up while my panels aren’t on. I spoke with Jan in customer service and she told me they missed me and never called me back they didn’t have a dept to follow up on people that are having repairs and now have a dept I must have been “missed”. if you are thinking of getting panels put on DO NOT GO WITH TESLA THEY SUCK I have been emailing this one women back and forth she takes weeks to get back to me and all I want is to speak with the CEO or some manager that will agree they messed up my roof they messed up me being put on a list to reinstall and they messed up by racking up a bill which I refuse to pay. I cant get intouch with the CEO to wave the bill and move forward. from day 1 with the rep lying to us stating we would never receive a bill from our electric company that he oversized our roof up to 110% they lie and no one in the company cares about customer service.. again DO NOT GO WITH TESLA if you are looking to go solar.
I agree! My husband and I were going to refinance our house and found out that Solar City put a lien on our house. I was lost for words! I have been paying MP2 for 6 years. I don’t know anything about a lien. Did this happen to anyone else?
Same thing happened to me. They leave out all the important things like this, alongside the hidden fees for everything related to the panels when selling the product and then all the surprise starts to come once they get those panels on your roof. The representative told me all about how much I can save but skipped all the other details that would have changed my decision. I guess they are trained to deceive the customer at all cost.. My roof is leaking and I’ve been trying to get them to take the panels off so I can have it fixed but no luck. This company really sucks. They are trifling.
Unbelievable Customer Service! Nobody ever does anything to help take care of, or just talk to the customer. My Complaints are MANY !
I can not believe a company this large does NOTHING for the customer once they have you signed. Its MONE MONEY MONEY1 I will do everything in my power to tell people about SOLAR CITY and what a rip off it is

FYI-They don’t need a report from a roofing contractor. They need to come out and take a look at the leak situation and if they refuse to do so, tell them you are going to file a complaint with the Contractors State License Board.
When one of my clients calls me and wants me to check out something that is a potential problem I don’t make them get a written report from another contractor.
If they give you any problems at all let me know and I will help you contact the CSLB in Nevada so you can file a complaint against their license.

I agree with my guy. You’ve seen the photos. You have his statement. It’s obvious to him and to me my roof leaks are directly under, and caused by, your solar panels. Will you please have someone from your company come out and check for themselves?
Please advise next steps.
