We have a group comes into your establishment in Clearwater, Florida on Monday nights for wings and the deal on bush light beer first night we came in. They had it. Everything was perfect. We’ve been there at least eight more times and for some reason they cannot seem to have a second keg of Bush light. It’s not rocket science why can’t they get an extra keg of Busch light, your turning away 8 to 20 people every Monday night because of it

The manager did not offer us an apology nor any compensation for our inconvenience of time. His emotions intelligence was nonexistent. But he did offer us another rib without any sides. We will most likely not go back to Smokey Bones .

Smoky Bones 2525 Hurstbourne in Louisville KY. One of the worst Sunday dinners I’ve ever had. Upon entering seating was very slow. Didn’t make sense at first because the restaurant had so little patrons. Yet my party of three along with about half dozen others were sitting and standing there. (NO HOSTESS). After being seated by someone I believe to be the mgr. Our service was prompt of course because the place was about maybe 1/10 th capacity. Pretty empty. It being Easter Sunday was the reason. So I thought. FOOD WAS TERRIBLE. Order not right. I ordered St Louis style but got baby back. Two rib orders totally different from each other. When it was brought to the the mgrs attention she insisted that I was wrong. (I’ve been eating bbq for 50 years). After getting uncooked Mac n cheese about a year ago I swore I’d never be back. But thought I’d give them the benefit of doubt and try again. HOPING it would be as good as it was years ago. SO VERY DISAPPOINTING.. NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY THE PLACE WAS EMPTY. THAT’S MY LAST 100. PLUS YOU GET FROM ME. NEVER BE BACK !!

I went to your restaurant on Friday. My fiance and I ordered appetizers and dinners. He ordered a steak and I ordered a burger. We get our meals after waiting 35 minutes. My burger was charcoal burnt. It was unedible. I never complain ever but this time I did. The waitress asked if I want another burger and I said yes. I waited 35 minutes! I was fed up and as I went and walked to find my waitress for the bill, she turned around with my burger in her hand. I was in the restaurant for over 2 hours! I come here for dinner 2-3 times a month. I will never go back to this restaurant again.

Casper was our waiter for the evening and I will tell you this; I haven’t received such service like this in a very long time especially feeling lately that hospitality is a dying art. We not only were given superb service, but all his knowledgeable input from the menu, WE ORDERED! Astonishingly, each recommendation given of apps, food, and dessert were delicious but even better; HOT & FRESH. We couldn’t have been served by a more promising server. Not a single drink or request went unnoticed. Attentive, professional, and extremely polite and not to mention what a great sense of humor with an even better personality. This man not only deserves a bonus but perhaps even a pay raise and changed position to Server Trainer because this man could be the change of customer service if given the opportunity. I mean even as a manager I’m sure he’d be an outstanding asset. Truthfully the man needs to be cloned and many can learn from his expertise. And at the end of it all, I left and after about an hour realized my phone was left behind. I repeatedly called but nothing. Even called the restaurant and nothing. Thankfully Casper checked around anyways and was able to retrieve my phone stuck in between the booth. Although it took me about 40 minutes to have to drive back, I was greeted with a smile and the kindness of understanding how important my phone was due to sentimental family pictures and videos. So just thank you for a wonderful and memorable experience and just everything else. I’m hoping he receives the acknowledgment that he deserves. Thank you for your time and God Bless.

On the Smokey Bones website an ad offer for a $10 meal special, read as follows, hamburger, fries, and a beer $10 hurry offer ends this week. Again the ad was visible on the Smoky Bones Restaurant website a few minutes before I walked into the restaurant.
I sat at the bar and ordered the $10 burger special. The bar keeper was not familiar with the offer. Then, the barkeeper asked the restaurant manager present, and she didn’t know if the ad was valid on this particular day. No one knew!?!?!? The manager called corporate offices. Well, an answer was not received during the entire time I was an in-restaurant customer. Yes, I ordered a more expensive burger and brew. However at this point I would suggest:
1. Having a 15 minute discussion with restaurant manager and staff about the “ad offer” being available and valid (an ad currently appearing on the their website (“hurry and come in—offer ends this week”). Sadly, the corporate office did not send the restaurant manager a response timely for my stay—that is, to honor the ad offer or not. I had to forget the offer…I ordered a burger on the menu and paid for my order.
2. It was suggested by the bar keeper that the advertisement for the “burger, fries and beer special” for the restaurant ends on Thursday)…then why was the ad still up and running two days after Thursday—why not list an actual DATE, for example: 01/28/2022?
3. It was my first visit to this SmokeyBones restaurant…not quite the “welcome” I was hoping for.
Summary: Their website needs another tweak: “5-Star” in Customer Service…

I went to smokey bones in Kissimmee. From the moment you walk in it smells like p**. Get to a table that the seats are dirty with gear and no one cared to clean it up. There was trash all over the floor under the table. There were even silverware on floor. My server might have not wanted to be working as all she kept doing was gossiping loud enough for us to hear. She was staring that she was happy to be going on a sleepover to their lady manager place. A group of them. I asked to speak to a manager and lo and behold it was a female manager. She was fake about her excuse about how late food had taken to get to our table. Same manager later came to talk to our server and beat about how some people didn’t know about the sleepover. Unprofessional management. I will not be returning and advising my family and friends to never ever waste their money at such an unprofessional place. It’s disturbing to me that management mingles with their employees. Sad!

I was on my way to get my phone fixed prior to going into work while on a bicycle. I was hit by a car, immediately called my manager Juilo of the plantation Fl location and said my knees were to swollen to bike to work that day. He proceeded to tell me that they needed me and if I didn’t show up I was fired. I couldn’t even make it home, let alone make it to work. Seems to me that all this company cares about is money, and not the well being of their employees. I will tell all friends and family to avoid this franchise.

I was in your Fayetteville NC restaurant on July 21 2021 to pick up an uber eats order. When I came in the greater went to check on my order but never got back with me. I waited approximately 15 minutes when I asked another server what was going on with my order. She said she’ll look into it. 10 minutes later I asked her again and she told me they had the customers order it just never went through. She told me it will take about 15 minutes to get done. 30 minutes later I asked how long it will be and she told me they are making the macaroni and cheese. Meanwhile, customers that came in after me were getting their Mac n cheese.
5 minutes later the manager walked toward me but never said a word so I asked him about the order and how long it will be. He sarcastically said it’s coming. I said I been here roughly an hour and because of them I lost about $25 myself waiting on this one order when I could be picked up 4 other orders. He looked at me and shrugged and said so. I felt so humiliated by the way he treated me. No respect at all. He didn’t even apologize for the error that occurred caused by them on this customers order.
I believe this manager needs more training. He also allows his workers with long hair with out a net to freely come in and out of the kitchen. That scene was very unnerving.

I’m an employee at Smokey Bones in Orlando. I work as a server. I’ve been trying to get in contact with HR for a few days now. They never answer the phone and haven’t responded to my messages. We are being severely mistreated and nobody seems to care. The building is falling apart (the roof is leaking all over the restaurant and several of our tables cannot be used because there is water constantly dripping on them, and the problem is only getting worse) and we are losing staff left and right because they are being mistreated to the point where they walk out in the middle of their shift. We had to close 2 hours early on the 4th of July because we were understaffed and the staff that was there had been pushed to the point of breaking down. You cannot treat people like this.

I am a recent hire to Bowling Green Kentucky Smokey Bones and I am appalled at the unprofessionallism of the kitchen manager, Jay Johnson. He might as well be a frat guy and talking ghetto to staff (servers). I am 52 so I am seasoned experienced in customer service. Yesterday June 13, 2021 was my third day as opening greeter, the other greeter did not come in, so I was by myself. As I was wiping down table and taking chairs of table. Mr Johnson & a server, Danielle were talking rather vulgarly while I was trying to work & I really didn’t need to hear any of that and it went on over twenty minutes. He did not do a floor plan for servers, so Danielle did, causing the other servers to be upset with their tables when they came in. One server was there with no tables Neeley and other server wasn’t even there yet & she already had a section. So when Asst Mgr Emily Cardwell she said never let a server do a floor plan. I told her how my morning went. She told me to contact corporate. She said she was supposed to have left at 6pm the night before but before of Mr Johnson she was stuck there until 8:30pm so she lost the services of her babysitter. ?. I enjoy working here. He complained about me talking to customers too long when I seat them & leaving people waiting at door. Which he told me he was only concerned with the kitchen. We had all large parties today & we were putting tables together for that group I was NOT ignoring them, I did not appreciate that, when I am just being personable to our customers.

Hi, I am writing about all the years we have enjoyed eating at Smokey bones. I have to let you know we haven’t eaten there in two years because I was not well. We ate there yesterday, and we had your cornbread which is excellent as always. We had your pulled pork, and it was like eating dry stinging

On October 4, 2020, my fiancé and I went to the Smokey Bones in North Wales, Pennsylvania. We’re sad to say that we had an absolutely horrific customer service experience. First, our server took an inordinate amount of time to come over to our table. She took even longer to bring out our drinks and when she did she placed them at the opposite end of the table. I wasn’t aware that beverages required social distancing.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, when my fiancé received her order it was wrong. She had asked for extra barbeque sauce for her chicken and for there to be no gravy on the mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, the mashed potatoes were swimming in gravy and while the server did bring out extra barbeque sauce, it was the wrong barbeque sauce. My fiancé had to wait for half an hour for her meal to be remade and I waited for hers to eat and my food got cold in the process. To add insult to injury, when the server brought out the check she left an open pen in the check holder and when my fiancé opened the it, the pen fell out, almost hit her eye, and landed on her shirt, staining it. As we were leaving the restaurant, we asked to speak with the General Manager so we could express our concerns. After speaking with him, it was clear why the server was so inept. When we told the General Manager about the poor service, he made excuses for the server and when we told him about the pen stains that ruined my fiancé’s shirt, he told us that his shirts were usually covered in ink and gave us the false assurance that the ink would come out in the wash.
We were very unhappy with the service that we received at the North Wales location and the General Manager did nothing to address our concerns, so we contacted their Corporate Office and requested that the Regional Manager contact us so that we make them aware of the situation. The representative we spoke with said that he would reach out to the Regional Manager and we should receive a callback within in 72 hours it has been weeks.

On Saturday, August 25th around 7:15 pm. I arrived to pick up a telephone order from SB and waited several minutes at the check in counter for an employee to great me and process the payment There were no additional customers. I had a Smokey Bones emailed $10 coupon, and the remains of a previously purchased email gift card (value of $30 with $5 remaining purchased thru Groupon for SB) We had used at SB weeks prior. The server said that SB does not accept Groupon. I explained it was a SB gift Card we used previously and been assured we could use again. I asked to speak with a supervisor. several customers were now waiting behind me. The supervisor removed my info from the register/computer and proceeded to service all behind me. The experience truly made me feel belittled and unappreciated as a Smokey Bones repeat customer. All of this took another 12 minutes or so to take care of everyone else. The manager proceeded to tell me I could only use one coupon with the $10 the better deal. When I asked for a return of the $5 gift card, he said he did not have it. He said I could speak with him about the issue to which I responded that would be counter- productive since he was the problem. I then asked for the email address for customer service. He returned a few minutes later and handed me a card which was his personal card with no corporate contact.
He returned with his card in one hand and a gift card in the other hand saying to me very loudly so that others could hear, “Sir, I have decided not to give you this gift card because you are unpleasant and a problem.” Now several customers behind me started to disrespect me and put me down because I was trying to get satisfaction regarding the gift card and the coupon. All in all, a very unpleasant experience at a restaurant we have previously enjoyed. We especially liked the sensitivity that Smokey Bones exhibited in the early stages of the current Covid 19 pandemic with curbside and even allowing purchase of entire meals to prepare at home reasonably priced. I did not respond to the managers’ last statements, simply left the restaurant. The Gift Card from Groupon was never returned to me.
During this entire episode I never raised my voice or disrespected anyone. I was insistent that I be served before others behind me. I was trying to pay for an order that was ready to be picked up. My clear impression is that the manager thought that he could subtly insult and disrespect an 82-year-old man. The 40-45 minutes spent at Smokey Bones was upsetting and disheartening. I should have been in and out within 5 minutes or so to pick up and pay for a pre ordered meal.

I had placed a catering order for a very special surprise 50th on June 5, 2020 not sure what happened I did not receive my catering order when I went to go pick it up I had to go to another establishment pay extra money to have my party catered I missed a portion of my party because of this and my guests were waiting for me I called the local branch they apologized and told me that they would need to speak to the general manager who would only call me back a week or more from now I have emailed the Feedback email on Smokey bones Facebook pageThis is very unprofessional and unacceptable what can be done? As a Smokey Bones club member who eats at your restaurant every week , We have never been treated so badly as last night. Even with the virus going around, we wanted to support the Bones ordering take out. The experience was sad. I was greeted by a person by the name of Tiffany or Jasmine who was the rudest, sarcastic person that I have ever met. She pushed the take out bag to me and than walk away. When taking my food to my car, I noticed that there was no recite attached . I walked back into the Bones to request my recite, I was met again with the same person who states rudely and loudly that the recite was attached to the bag. It was not. Rude person printed another recite and slammed it on the counter. I thought I was doing the right thing by supporting you restaurant during the Virus crisis. The person who waited on me last night is “Poison” No Love Here

I am. Visitor from the UK and have been visiting Florida for over 10 years. During this time I have had many happy nights at the Kissimmee branch of Smokey Bones on Vineland Road. I have often described this restaurant as being my happy place, until tonight. After consuming a very good and substantial meal with a couple of beers (2), I was questioned by my server as to who was driving us home to which I informed her that Uber would be delivering us safely home. At this point the server told us that she would only serve us with 2 small beers as she had to be sensible about our levels. To give you an idea bout my background I am a 51 year old man who among other things managed bar for more years than the age of the server that spoke to me. I was accompanied by a man who owns a brewery! Together with both our families we were having a very nice night out. I spoke to the manager who obviously spoke to the server as she then came to “apologise”. This “apology” was prefixed with I know that I seem to have offended you but….. She then went on to give me a further lecture. I have spent many hundreds of dollars in you restaurant over the years and mentioned it very favourably in my food blog many times. Never Again !
I would have probably extended my bill that night much further than the $211 that we spent but for that server. I had also planned at least one more visit before we returned to the UK , but I think I will spend my hard earned dollars elsewhere.

I had a very bad experience with one of the managers who was extremely rude to me on 9/6/2019. Due to his conversation with me tonight I will be spending my money else where. This member of management needs to learn how to communicate with customers and not be argumentative especially when your chicken wasn’t fully cooked.

I had accumulated points on the card and do not understand why my account can no longer be accessed using the same email and password I always used. On Wednesday July 31, 2019, my husband and I visited the Smokey Bones at Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia, Ga. After our food was ordered, and we started to eat. I saw a BIG WATER BUG crawling down the wall behind my husband next to the kitchen. I notified the waitress and my waitress. The waitresses tried to catch the bug, without alerting the other customers. My husband and I left the restaurant. I will be report this to restaurant inspection. THAT JUST NASTY!!!!!!

I live over an hour away from the nearest Smokey Bones. My husband and I decided to drive to Greensboro NC for dinner. We get to Smokey Bones and there’s a wait (along with 30+ other people waiting)
Mine you the tables were empty. So once we got seated. We ordered. Our drinks, cornbread & fried pickles came out, ONE HOUR and a HALF later still no dinner. So we asked . So we asked for our ticket, the waitress said its on its way up now . Would you like to take it to go? NO!!!!? So we get our bill for $22.80. I leave the money on the table. As we are leaving some guys at the bar was saying that they are trying to get them to leave because they had a wedding party that they didn’t wanna serve. Because it was too many of them. One lady said that it’s always like this in Greensboro.I WON’T be back until somethings done. Use to go all the time, but not if I gotta stop on my way home for a burger. My family and I went to the Smokey bones in Pittsburgh pa at the Robinson town center, walked in and stood for 15 min, no one was in there waiting and not very many people in there either. I walk over and ask can we be seated, a guy waiter turned around and started getting smart with me and says you aren’t getting smart, walks passed us while we still stood up front waiting rolling his eyes and making snide remarks. I ask for a manager, his name is Adam, he was nice and said he would take care of it. Something needs to be done because of a smart mouth kid and from the time we got there until we left we was there 2 hours, the place was not even full.

I just ate at the Springfield Illinois location on Dirksen Parkway and when our wings were served us they came out black and charcoal the waitress called the manager over his name is Matthew Bumgardner who said that is how the wings are supposed to be they were like Burnt leather they did not look like the picture and he was very rude The way he handled the situation. I also talk to the waitress and she agreed that he should have done something because the wings were burnt and she did say there has been other complaints a lot about this manager . My bill was over $100 which I do not mind paying for good food but The wings ruined the rest of the meal .
Do not waste your money at this location until the management gets their crap together. It’s a shame how one person can rune the popularity of a food chain. I have two homes in Florida also and I would refuse to spend my money again at this food chain.

We were at Smokey Bones this evening 1-26-19 ar the Mills Shopping Center in Tarentum arriving at 4:40 P.M. and didn’t get served till 5:22P.M. They were very busy but that is not my complaint. My 3 complaints are 1) Their parking lot is like a mine field full of very large pot holes. I have complained to sever managers over the past year and still nothing is done. 2) Even though we had snow ending around 8:30 A.M. today their sidewalks have not been cleared or salted making them very hazardous to walk on. 3) The seat we were given was a bench seat next to the windows on the entrance side of the building and had a one foot long tear in the cushion with the padding sticking out. The food was good and the male server was great. This restaurant to me is a disgrace to the entire chain and continues to get worse every time we visit this establishment.

My reasons not to eat nor work at Smokey Bones in Cranberry township PA:
1. Illegal selling of drugs and consumption on premise. I have witnessed these activities first hand.
2. Allowing a fellow co-worker (me) to be assaulted…The GM threatening “We can sweep it under the rug or fire you both. ” I kept the receipt. #video
3.In my view poor mismanagement due to lack of employees, creating a chaotic environment.
4. Management allowing me, a gay man, to be belittled by a customer. The picture is below. I requested it to be taken down. He said no.
If you support a restaurant that has a chaotic atmosphere with SOME unkind and overworked employees, please eat there.
If not, drive past. Just my viewpoint. You’re welcome.

I have been trying to get smoked prime rib every week for the past 3 or 4 weeks at Casselberry. They have run out early every time. I tried again tonight at 5:20 pm and was told that they had several large party’s for lunch today and ran out, they aren’t supposed to start cooking it until 4pm. Fashion square location didn’t have prime rib tonight either. This is a very poor excuse for running a special for limited time. It seems to me that someone would wise up and learn to cook more after running out every week for 3 or 4 weeks.

I never see black or Hispanic managers while I drinked or dined at Smokey bones, why is that? I live in Lansing Mi, and I was told because no one cares, we are living in a Trump World, and our minorties aren’t giving a chance and when they do they get over looked. I’m not speaking in a Ill tongue or being racist but wow it’s getting really blind in this whole world. I love bbq I wish that our community takes a look at discrimination in the work place and equal work for equal pay. Why must I tip these servers well when the people in the back don’t get the same respect. To much is going into bad management when employees are starving.

I ordered lunch threw smokey bones, and they made my burger wrong, I called and spoke to the lady on the phone Kaylee, and she said she would have them make a new one, sent a salesman up to get it. In the meantime smokey bones called my office back to state they did make it right, didn’t ask for me and just hung up. I called back after getting the message and spoke to the manager named Dee, she was horrific, and said No we aren’t making a new one, I personally made that myself. I said why would someone say they’re making me a new one, and not, HORRIBLE customer service by said manager, so then I asked who her boss was and she said forget it they will make me a new one. Well they sure did, they burnt it to a crisp, still didn’t make it right, and didn’t give me french fries. Now Mind you I returned the wrong burger! I didn’t keep any of it! By far the worst experience, with a take out place, the manager should not be a manger, and they should be ashamed of themselves for the burger they sent back, that went right in the trash. Me or my company will never order from Smokey Bones again, and I will make sure to spread the word on horrible this service was. So I go to Smokey Bones In Florence Ky every night after work. I spend about 70- to 80 bucks a night on drinks and food. Recently they have changed are regular bartender to this person who has no skills at all. He has served me drinks in a dirty glass forgotten my food order about 3 or four times then last night it was about 6 of us at the bar 2 or 3 guests sitting at the booths on the side! My friends and I were laughing at some stories when I’m assuming the GM came up to me by the bar and told me I needed to lower my voice and be quiet! I have never in my life been so disrespected bc I’m spending money and enjoying my friends company. I guess you just lost another guest Because of poor decision making. Truly pissed because I always go after work and have a good time. I will not return to this location because I was so disrespected for having fun with my friends.

Then they act rude, as if I’m bothering you for coming to spend my money. The management is so matter of fact cold as if I’m a imposition by asking questions. It’s my money and time really. Wow what a experience last night at Smokey Bones in Greensboro North Carolina I drove from Winston Salem to eat there last night sat down at 8:24pm didn’t get my meal til 10:08 I sat a hour before I ask why three tables have got there food before me and all I get in response was they working on it I wait another 20 min around 9:50pm ask for manager she apologized but didn’t have a answer food come out at 10:08pm which more tables have gotten there meal before me so I ask I guess y’all will take care of this .manager said she give me a free lemonade. Wow i refuse and I left and they took the food back to kitchen 23 miles for this behavior then drove 23 back had to go home and fix me a sandwich

Hands down worst burger ever had. I’ve been going for 4 years and watched the slow decline of quality. Today it was made apparent McDonalds is a big step up from Smokey. Food was late, burger was gray in color, fries and bun soggy, loaded potato was a closed potato with a sprinkle of processed bacon bits and a pinch of something green. On May 19, 2018 my husband and I ate diner at the Smokey Bones 4813 Valley View Blvd, Roanke, Va while traveling. I ordered a salad with my meal and was eating the salad when I noticed a black bug crawling on the lettuce. I was immediately sickened by this and called the waitress over. She was very apologetic and took the salad away. She even had the manager come over to apologize. I did not make a big deal of this as the restaurant was extremely busy but I was extremely upset and could not eat my diner. I returned the meal almost completely uneaten. My disappointment was they charged me for my full meal, while only crediting the $1.99 for the salad. I feel for ruining my evening and my meal, the least they could have done was not charge me for something I didn’t even eat. I will never return to a Smokey Bones again and have not been able to eat a salad since.

We love coming to Smokey Bones. It is a 20 minute drive for us. They were not busy. We were seated. I had to get a high chair for our toddler. That wasn’t so bad. But there were no kids menus, they had run out. And the person who sat us described kid’s items as “just like fast food stuff.” We sat down and decided on an appetizer since we were hungry. 20 minutes 3 servers walked by and badly cleaned the dirty tables near us. And an assistant manager all walked by. No one acknowledged us. We made eye comtact several times. If you were busy I would understand. But YOU WERE NOT!! Now angry and super hungry I found Corey one of the managers and proceeded to tell him about the experience. He tried to get us to stay. For obvious reasons we didn’t stay. Very disappointed is an understatement. We and our toddler left starving. Not worth the 20 minute drive.

This is the third bad experience I’ve had with Smokey Bones. We were standing at the modem waiting for someone to seat but nobody was coming. The manager walked by us twice and never that to help us or send someone to help us. The second time we were standing in line to be seated, politely waiting our turn when a couple walked right by us to the modem and they sat him immediately. We again had to wait for a server for a good 15 min. This last time we were seated promptly but no server for 15 min again. When she finally comes, she said she didn’t see us and one of her friends made her come over. Our server was black so I’m wondering if all the white servers were refusing to serve as because we are black. After another 15 min we finally got our salads and about 3 min later we got the main course. Something was really wrong with that picture. On top of all of this it was mother’s day and I didn’t even get my discount. I am starting to believe the Smokey Bones is not welcoming to people of color and I would strongly suggest revamping the entire organization because the management is terrible and the customer services is almost as bad as Walmart.

I was eating dinner at the restaurant in Robinson Township in PA on January 7 2018 and was first sickened by the filthy bathrooms. My 22 year old son said he never seen such a dirty and smelly bathroom in his life! Then I was just about done eating my pulled pork sandwich and found a quarter size pork bone in it. Thank god I didn’t bite down on it. All the manager said was did you bite it? We apologize and walked away. I didn’t make a big deal about it because that’s not me, but we will never visit one again. ???

On August 2, 2017, my son and I visited the Smokey Bones in Peachtree City Georgia on the corner of 54 and 74.
We were seated promptly but that is the only thing that went right this evening. Once we sat down NO ONE came over to wait on us. After 15 long minutes I went up to the bar and told the bartender that no one came to wait on us. I asked for 4 waters and a waiter! We never got the waiter. The bartender said that she would come over and wait on us. I don’t understand this total break down in communication as it seemed that everyone around us was being waited on but us. I blame the hostess for not making sure she sat us at a table that had an assigned waitress and then I blamed the bartender who should have made sure we got a waitress once I told her what was happening and then I blame all the other waiters around our table that had to see that we weren’t being waited on. The bartender continued to wait on us but the service was extremely slow. I had to get up a total of 6 times either to get something more at the bar, to ask where the rest of our food was and to remove the piling dishes from our table. I finally had enough and asked for the manager who never showed up at our table. I was told that she was in the kitchen cooking. I had to go to the kitchen to find the manager!!! I found her making a dessert that they gave us complimentary for our troubles (a dessert we never would have ordered). I can’t help but feel that this was a racially motivated move to not wait on us as we were the only hispanics in the restaurant. I cannot think why else they refused to wait on us. I wrote to the manager of the store and never heard back from him????!!!!! I want to hear back from the corporation on this.

I just left the Smokey Bones in Kissimmee Florida on 192 East. I received a text for a FREE Paradise Cookie Dessert in route to going there for dinner. I showed my server the text message and swiped my Bones Club membership. The manager Cory comes over and tells me she “Never seen a Smokey Bones text before and don’t know where I got that from “and had me feeling as if I was lying. I showed my membership card, the text message and everything but she was beyond rude. Finally she honored the coupon after basically belittling me in front of my kid. My server was amazing but management definitely needs some more customer service classes. How could a customer generate a text from Corporate Bones Club and if so common sense will be it would have been a better saving than a FREE dessert…smh

I would like to share this horrible treatment this general manager, Megan Laury made me feel at the Smoky Bones on CR 535. Her demeanor was very snootie and no type of customer service at all and didn’t appreciate my business at all. I hate pulling the race card at all but this time and situation I really felt like I was treated the way she treated me because of my race and that I’m just this uneducated person. It was belittling. We have been visiting this restaurant for a long time now. This was the very first time that we’ve encounter horrible experience and I wasn’t going to say anything but I can’t stay quiet. I can ignore the bad service from my waitress but for a general manager to make me feel like this is different. I’m certainly going to call the corporate office about this incident.

Visited the Smokey Bones in Dayton, OH while traveling on business in the area. What a disappointment! Ordered the Texas – Style Beef Brisket with mac and cheese and broccoli.
Not only was the meat full of fat, about half of the meat was fat, but the Mac and Cheese had glass in it. Asked to speak with the manager Ryan, who understood said he would throw out the rest of mac and cheese. Don’t plan on visiting this location again.

It was recently brought to my attention that all General managers are asked by corporate to only have good looking people in the front of the house. They have asked that anyone who is overweight or not good looking enough to have to work in the back of the house. I think this is wrong on so many levels. And considering all of the horrible reviews I have read on Yelp, Facebook etc I think management should be focusing more on hiring people who actually like people. Not entitled millennials who know absolutely nothing about giving decent customer service.

I haven’t hard from anybody’s about my complaint. Because to me this is a very important matter. When not just my food was cold, the and other two customer food was cold to. And the manager come out and spoke to me and said the chicken did not have to be hot. I explained to him I have my sere safe certificate and I know them temp on hot and cold food. The manager told me it didn’t have to be hot there is a problem. I don’t think the Board of health would not like that you are serving cold food that should hot, not just the chicken cold my ribs my sister ribs and the rest of my sister was cold. My sister had the Bone special every thing was cold, my husband salmon was Luke warm. I has the manager to will he go check the temperature on the food. Customer service to me doesn’t hold valves because nobody have responded about this concern. This is poor business service. How can you fixed this by retrain your manager on hot and cold temps and have some concern and not smart mouth to his customers about he don’t have to have check temperature, have your cooks retrained about maintaining the correct temps. I was sick after eating this food I just ate little of it and paid 56.66 for my food. I had nachos and the did not have salsa on them and that was not right. I am very upset because nobody had called are anything. Poor customer service. Heath Department need to know about this

On 3-31-2017 we had the misfortune of me deciding to pick Smokey Bones to meet friends for dinner.
Each of us selected the dinner combo meals. One person took one bite of the ribs, & 2 bites of one of the sides, & one bite of the second side.
The other person ate about a 3rd of their meal, but didn’t really like it.
Neither of them wanted to send their food back even though they didn’t eat much of it, for fear of retaliation.
The waitress noticed that one person didn’t eat his meal at all, so she brought a carry out container.
We paid the entire check, & tipped 20 percent, (even though they didn’t eat).
Before leaving, we asked the waitress if we could exchange the one person’s meal for a different type of rib without any sauce and try a different side, ( just so we wouldn’t feel like a total waste of money ).
The waitress said that she would have to ask the manager if that was possible. When she returned, she said that the manager said that she would have to charge us for another meal.
I asked for clarification, & she said that the manager said that the only way we could get something else, is that we would have to pay for it. I said, even though this is a full uneaten meal that we informed her that he didn’t like it, & wants to exchange it for something else, & you can’t do that? We only asked for different ribs without sauce, & one side, because in fairness, he did eat one of the sides. She said, no, you have to pay for another meal if you want something else.
We declined to order anything else if we had to pay for it.
We sat there in disbelief for a moment, & needless to say that we left the uneaten meals sitting on the table, & left.
Needless to say, we walked outside, & left feeling very displeased about the experience.

My visit on Saturday April1,2017 at smoke bone was very very bad to the point I will nerver go again. First of all they didn’t have enough waiters and the one waiter that we had he try to work really had to accommodate each and every customer he had. The problem was we waiting about a 45 min for the food, and it was cold and spoke with the manager and I explained to him that the food was cold and it was not at 135 degree he told me the chicken did not have to be at that temp or hot. I order the new dish Something Bone with grill chicken ribs steak sausage French fried and pepper and onion it looked pretty but it was very cold . I explained to him I was Sersafe certification and I know that all hot food was not cooked to the proper temp or it was not held to 135 for them four hours and it was cold. I also asked the manager will he please check the temp of the food, his reply was that it did not have to be 135 degree he was very rude I explained it had to be hot and it was not. I had a party of 12 people and every body food was cold . The table beside me food was cold and the other table was beside me was cold. My nacho was not good at all. I am not a person to complaining person but this was bad. Customer service with a rude manager and short staff and cold food. This manage went back and put it back oven microwave and heated it up and still like warm. For me working in management that was very unprofessional the was he handled that he was tell me the food was hot then he was not trying to bring fresh hot food he reheated the food and potatoes wedges was over cooked steak was like rubber and ribs and sausage. And after all of that me and my sister became sick last night. Sometimes has to be done because this is a problem. It start out with cook making sure they’re holding temperatures of the food and then making sure it is picked up in a timely manner. This is very serious to me customer service and hot food ( I was up all night vomiting and stomach pain this is very serious and I wad at the stone crest smokey Bone. My waiter was Micah he was great as he could be he kept apologizing for the long wait and the cold food. But how ever you really need to speak with the manager about customer service and maintaining temp on food

I am enraged that after 4 emails, no response…now whatever time of day you call corporate office, you get shuffled through “mailbox” full response! Obviously no one cares about the “valued” customer! This past Sunday was the third time in 2 months my husband and I went in to sit at the bar, have a drink and an early dinner, once again at 4:00 in the afternoon they “ran out of house pino-grigio” REALLY?!?! The most common and popular of wines!!! This Smokey Bones is located in Stoughton MA, not ever a crowded restaurant so why always run out of wine??????????
On our previous visit it was super bowl Sunday. My husband and I arrived a couple hours before game to get a seat at the bar, have a few drinks and dinner, enjoy ourselves and cheer for the Patriot win with the other patrons. I waited about 15 minutes after ordering drinks, my husband got his beer, finally I called bartender over and asked jokingly if he forgot my wine, I was told bluntly that they ran out of it! Embarrassed, (because my husband told me just to order something else because at this point we would never get a seat at another bar to watch game, ) I ordered a coke, let me tell you this is now the second time they
ran out of wine with in a couple weeks! To make a long story short, my husband who had ordered a sirlion with the mushroom wine sauce, I had ordered a cheeseburger…45 minutes later the bartender came over and said, this time an apologetic look said they ran out of steak AND mushroom wine sauce…WHAT?!?!?! We said we wanted to speak to Manager, who no one could seem to locate!!! We paid for beer and coke and left to go home to watch game and eat frozen pizza…Whoopie!
All I am asking for is an apology from Corporate and Smokey Bones in Stoughton, Ma, what do I receive………nothing…….not even an acknowledgement.

My husband and I and a friend went to the Smokey Bones on Dussell Dr. In Maumee, Ohio tonight 3/18/17. We arrived at 6pm got seated within 20 minutes and an hour and a half later we still did not have our food. In the interim we had to go up to the bar to get a glass of ice and lemon that we had asked waitress for twice because the tea she served was so strong we had to water it down in order to drink it. We told the Manager that we had been waiting over 1-1/2 hours and still didn’t have our food. He assured us that we would receive our food shortly and our meals were on him. When we finally got our meals, the chicken wings were smoked instead of regular and they were burnt. The waitress went to the kitchen and ordered the right chicken. She finally came back with chicken strips instead of wings. She said she had ordered regular wings but they gave her chicken strips instead. So finally the third try and two hours later we finally got the chicken wings right. The table next to us had trouble as well and told us they hoped that we would eventually get our food. From the four of them, two finally got their food, the third person got his food twenty minutes later and the last lady finally got hers after everyone else had finished their food. We go to this restaurant relatively frequently and had to discuss poor service with the Manager before. It has only been getting steadily worse. If something is not done soon, you may as well close the place because there are several really good restaurants located all around this Smokey Bones where customers can get excellent food and customer service. I would say it’s up to you HOW or IF you care to deal with this steadily worsening problem. We have done our part by speaking to the waitress, and Manager on a number of occasions, but to know avail. Now it’s up to your organization if you want your restaurant to be successful, or continue to decline.

Had dinner last evening, March 17, 2017 at the restaurant on Rte 441 in Boca Raton, Fl. We had not been to Smokey Bones for quite some time until last evening. We arrived during “happy hour” and ordered house cabernet wine, and sat at the bar, as we always did. We inquired when happy hour would end. About 15 minutes before happy hour was over, we ordered another glass of wine. When I received the check after dinner, I saw where we had been charged $7.75 per glass for the wine, for a total of $31.00 just for wine. When I inquired about the cost of the wine, I was told that cabernet was no longer included in “happy hour”. The bartender had 2 chances to tell us that cabernet was not included in happy hour, but he didn’t. If we had known about that, we sure as Hell would not have ordered cabernet. In my opinion, 8 chicken wings, 1 combo 2, and 4 glasses of wine during “happy hour” should not cost $63.57. We should have been told that cabernet wine was not included in “happy hour” when we ordered it. To me, we just plain damn got ripped off. ordered pork loin well done not burnt with no pink in middle, received dish with purloin sliced with much pink in middle, Hit button to call Kaitlyn, she was off in corner talking with 2 other servers, waited 10 minutes and finally asked another server to take the plate back as I cannot eat rare pork, 10 minutes later man brings back sliced pork that was 1/4 inch thick that had each been grilled on both sides to pint it was totally dried out, No one came to check on me for the next 20 minutes as I was getting up to leave the man who brought the dried meat back came over and asked how it was so I told him. It was terrible dried out meat, He said they can only cook the loin medium well and then they slice it and serve it. I again explained as the customer I specifically ordered it well done not burnt and dried out. He proceeded to argue with me that its his store policy to cook it medium and as long as it was medium his company says he did it correct no matter what the customer wants. I explained to him that my family, friends and I and anyone else who reads my facebook post surely will not be visiting a restaurant where customer service is so poor as they do not take a customers ordering preference into account. The waitress should have stated when I placed my order that its Smokey Bones rule that pork can only be cooked medium and I would have gladly cancelled my order and spent my $ 16.25 at a restaurant across the street that provides excellent customer service. I do not know if management has changed at this facility but the last 2 visits have been horrendous.

I have filed a complaint twice and nor reaction from anyone. From seeing the above complaints it seems that corporate could give a crap what experience the dinners receive. 4 years of taking clients there has ended.

On Tuesday 1/24/2017, my son, his nurse, and I went to the the Smokey Bones Davie, Fl. Location (809 S University Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL 3332 . We ate around 6 pm. By next morning, the 3 of us have become severely.We all have some type of respiratory infection/flu. This leads me to believe that someone during the prep process contaminated the food. This is especially troubling because my son is special needs. He has a tracheotomy and already has compromise respiratory system. His nurse and are both unable to care for him. I have to miss work, and incur medical bills. This is unacceptable. The restaurant needs to value the health and wealth fare of your customers.

I have card and receipt for Smokey bones gift card. The gift card has no balance on it. We were informed when we ate there today. I paid $50 for card in an online purchase and used paypal. bought the card directly from Smokey Bones site. I have been calling this evening and gotten no satisfaction. Three different people gave me numbers to call that do not work. Then I was given corporate office number and call will not go through because I have no extension number to give. I paid for this card on June 8th and am very unhappy to be out the $50 and also was embarrassed at the local Smokey Bones here.
