The company introduced a vegan veggie avocado sandwich in May 2019.
Schlotzsky’s offers a casual dining restaurant that serves a variety of sandwiches, pizzas, salads, pasta dishes, and wraps.
Despite the pandemic of 2020-2022- Schlotzsky’s continues to open new locations in Georgia and other areas.

Visited store at 13201 RR 620 in Austin Tx and on 3 consecutive visits order was wrong, set at pickup window no less than 10 minutes before food was given to me. Order was tossed into bag and then practically tossed into my truck then the host released the pickup window without eye contact and not a comment one.

A restaurateur and I went to the Granbury Schlotskys managed by Walter Moose. It was filthy, greasy handprints were all over the oven, food was on the floor and prep area. There was NO health certificate posted and the drink station was nasty and so was Mr. Moose. We will NEVER go again.

As an employee who just yesterday got tested for Covid and informed my manager of this, as well as the fact that I would not have results for a few days, I have been asked to return to work even though my results have yet to come in. What is the store policy on this? I don’t feel comfortable returning to work knowing that I could possibly infect others.

I have had two visits in a row where I was shorted food at the Broken Arrow, OK restaurant. I recently ordered the French Dip sandwich and they left off the au jus. Today I ordered several sandwiches and was shorted a sandwich. To make matters worse, I used a coupon to get one sandwich free with an order of another one. Hopefully there can be appropriate training regarding checking the order to see if it is complete. We enjoy your food and purchase product quite often but not sure I will go back for fear of getting burned again.

An unprofessional mess and horrible representation of the Schlotzky’s brand and if corporate information was available and not skated over due to it being a franchised location, I would’ve contacted them to report such unprofessional management & representation of their name. Nonetheless, it is safe to say that I will never return here. I tolerate disrespect. I have come here regularly and up until this point have never had any issues; however, today – the OWNER (unfortunately a black woman as I try often to patronize black owned businesses & before even making herself known) as I opened the door to the establishment with VISIBLE holiday hours being opened to 3pm today, I was greeted by a dismissive and rather nonchalant woman who didn’t even bother to look up from cleaning the soda machine to explain further other than “we’re not busy so we closed” as paying and regular customers who KNOWS the hours of operations I asked why wouldn’t that be notated on the site or the door as I wouldn’t have came & she ignored that and tried to close the door on me as she removed the valid hours of operation I referenced; before this transpired and ultimately brought me to the decision to never return, what I found most disrespectful was the continuous scrubbing of the drink machine (in a “non busy” establishment lol), “We closed” and continued to scrub with her headphones in. When I referenced the posted hours outside and let her know that it was only 2pm she nonchalantly and BLATANTLY lied about posting the hours on a nonexistent site lol she then proceeded to remove the whole hours of operation listings to prevent further questioning. Once again I would never spend another dime here.

Walter Moose, the manager in Granbury, TX, abused his employees and staff so badly, my girlfriend cried when we got in the car. That man has NO business working with people. He was so arrogant and hateful. The restaurant was filthy, had poor quality staff, no visible food certificate,
and nasty drink dispensers. We will never go back.

People at the New Caney, TX location are completely incompetent, especially the manager. I pulled into the drive-thru at 1:50 p.m., ten minutes early. I was prepared to wait. The manager glared at me, then scolded me for being early. This was my first experience, ever, with Schlotzsky’s Deli. I had ordered and paid online. I checked my order and found that the cookies were missing. The manager came to the window and said that they didn’t carry oatmeal/raisin cookies. SO, WHY WAS I ALLOWED TO ORDER AND PAY FOR THEM? WHY WASN’T I TOLD THAT I WASN’T GOING TO GET THEM, AND OFFERED SOMETHING ELSE? I delivered this order to my friend. The sandwich was a sloppy mess, oozing with some kind of white sauce, obviously not the mayo that I had ordered. I had ordered extra tomatoes. I got no tomatoes. My friend tried to eat the sandwich, but found that it had some runny salad dressing of some kind on it. No cheese, no mustard that I ordered, either. She threw the sandwich out, and I’m out my money. Avoid this restaurant like the plague. The franchise owner(s) obviously don’t care about customers

I used to visit that location two or three times a month. Recently just stopped going. The new manager always looks like he’s about to burst a blood vessel. Always in a hurry and very distracted. They seem to be way understaffed. Last week I was waiting for my food and I heard him yelling in the kitchen at his employees like he just lost all his cool. Then this past weekend I went in and he was the only person working during the dinner time hour. I’ve never waited so long for a sandwich. Needless to say I wont br going back.

My grandmother worked at Schlotzkys in Greenville Tx since the day it opened over 20 years. She was part time and she had it easy because she was older but I will tell you this people in this town loved her she donned a hat and was nicknamed the sheriff there she was featured in the town newspaper 3 times be or 4 for her work at Shlotzklys headlines reading Schlotzkys Mascot. Last year at 87 they wanted her out because of her age so they cut her hours to nothing…she worked there long enough to know what that meant so she worked her last day and was given a cinnamon as she walked out the door. What a sad goodbye…Schlotskys. Do you see this that’s kind of shamefull. Her name is Bobbie Hawthorne and she loved her job there.

Service has been great for many years in Maumee. However I highly recommend that this company starts using plastic to-go containers and paper cups rather than styrofoam (as styrofoam is not recyclable, thus takes up landfills and is harmful to the environment). I also highly recommend recycle bins at all locations to promote eco-friendly business. This will make customers like myself happier with Schlotsky’s.

Guest appreciation is not really guest appreciation. I heard through word of mouth about first hundred customers with purchase of cinabons gets free sandwich a week for a year so I got me and the kids up to go stand in line. When we get there the guy with the “blessed” hat on handed us 5 cards for me my significant other and my three kids without any question, i seen a friend inline as so did my daughter (friend from school) so me and my significant other went to go visit with my friend and the guy with the “blessed” hat went to my children and asked for there cards back when I was not standing with them. I then seen the rules and sign that said 16 and older, but why give them to us and take them back and why not enforce the rules for the other children standing in line that were allowed to keep there cards, I am here with my family as always because me and my family look at schloztkys as a fun family dining place we like to go. Unfortunately for schloztkys me and my family will not be returning and the same way I heard about guest appreciation through word if mouth is the same way I will talk about schloztkys and my experience and not recommend to anyone I know.

I ordered the Cranberry Apple Pecan Chicken Salad /with the Raspberry Vinaigrette and Garlic bread…. as I got down to my last few bites of this meal I discovered a FAT NASTY GRASSHOPPER without LEGS covered in the vinaigrette and the last bit of feta cheese at the bottom of the bowl…which means more than likely the legs were consumed by ME!!! I’m beyond livid…. I pay for a salad and get an extra side of bug…… this is unacceptable and I feel as if I have puked out everything I’ve eaten over the last 10 days… will post a picture shortly if it will allow me to….DON’T EAT HERE IF YOU DO NOT LIKE BUGS!!!!!!

I was in Schlotzskys Deli today for Lunch. I ate in and as I was eating I noticed a heavier set Caucasian lady with a Schlotzskys hat at the register constantly chewing something. I’m not sure if it was gum or food but It is a restaurant and I’m certain She wouldn’t like her eating and chewing in front of the customer. However I didn’t understand this I’ll still be back but didn’t really need to see her chewing and chewing. At least the girls in the back were very friendly with wonderful attitudes and smiles!

Tried to place a call in order to pick up at the Granbury TX location on Sep 28th. Called 8 times between 4:30 and 5:05. On the first call someone answered and told me to hold on. After 10 minutes waiting, I hung up and tried calling again. After 20 or so rings hung up and continued trying to call 6 more times. No one ever picked up. Finally gave up and called another restaurant. Very poor customer service. Last time I was there and picked up, did not have what I ordered when I got home. Will have to think hard about whether to go back or not, and I really like Schlotzsky’s sandwiches.

To whom it may concern,
I would like to make a formal complaint against the Manager of your Irving, Tx deli located near the intersection of Story Rd and Rochelle blvd. He would only give me the name Bo and nothing else. I am a Uber eats delivery driver in my spare time and today I received mssg to pick up 2 orders at this location. I waited patiently for almost 10 mins when Bo came out after I rang bell for service since this location had abs absolutley no one at register but a bell on counter. I was goig to simply ask how much longer it would take, but before I could he told me to leave and someone else could get it and to not come back. He then told me do you know how busy I am,which since I do not work there I told him I didn’t. He was trying to make it seem as if it was my fault he could not keep up with the buisness he was hired to manage. I explained to him that I am not just a delivery driver but a local resident and customer which I could prove. It was only then that he would only say his name was Bo. This man lacks the patience and ability to handle stressful situations such as today. I expect a call from him him to personally apologize in person and will not give up until he is held accountable and taught this lesson to make him a better manager. What he did today was a disservice and inconvenience to the customers I had waiting, and feel am helping your buisness grow through your Uber eats partnership.
Thank you for your time,
Juan B Casas 469-231-XXXXX
P.S. – I believe this location has video that can help prove this situation happened as explained.

I visited the store in granbury Texas and ordered a large original..took it home and consumed one quarter of sandwich and while biting into the other quarter of sandwich realized that part of the plastic packaging had been left in the sandwich. Wow! This could have gotten lodged in my throat for it is not soft plastic but plastic with sharp edges and could have possibly cut my throat and mouth. While i was waiting on my sandwich the crew preparing this product seemed to be not focused on what they were doing. They were cutting up and making jokes and very unprofessional..so i had to stop dinner, drove back up to store and got another sandwich..the manager apologized and said “it was an honest mistake”. Mistakes are mistakes! He didn’t offer to refund my money , Just to give me another sandwich..oh and3 cookies and 2bags of chips i really didn’t want… Now o already had a terrible experience with product and wanted my money back..I guess he didn’t want to refund my money for it was more important than my satisfaction…been a fan for years but social media will learn of my experience and they can judge for themselves. Unfortunately for you a loyal customer is no longer that! If you visit a schlotzsys be aware of plastic!

My wife and I eat at the Schlotzskys in Hoover, AL a couple of times a month and have always had excellent service. However, we went there last Sunday and was told we would
have at least a 45 minute wait. We left. We went today and was told they were out of certain breads and meats. Plus if we order, it could take an hour. I talked to one guy that had been waiting 35 minutes for his order. As much as we love Schlotzsky sandwiches, we will not be back for a while. You really need to check your manager.

First, I would like to say I have always been a huge fan of Schlotzky’s and after last weekend, I am even more of a fan! Let me explain. I agreed to co-host a baby shower last weekend stupidly forgetting it was High School graduation day for all of NWA. Every restaurant , fast food, & caterer I called was booked due to parties. A friend suggested Schlotzky’s, I wasn’t sure I would even try them because 1. Everyone else had turned me down & 2. I had no idea your Co. offered this type of service 9especially for a party of 30 or less)So……I went online, found local store in Rogers, AR. and placed order. To my surprise, the date was available the time I needed for pickup was available and there were several options. The website was easy to navigate as well. ⬅️Game changer for me if website is user UNfriendly.
Upon pickup, my son was greeted and handed the order only AFTER someone offered to carry it out for him? When he arrived home, all was intact as the packing was amazing (anyone with a 21 year old boy would know why I feared what the food would look like lol) like I said, packing was great, everything was perfect. Just. as. ordered! Thank you, I will definitley use/recommend Schlotskys catering again.
What I didn’t mention before was this baby shower was for my daughter, THANK YOU!!

Went to a “Grand Opening” for a new location in Webster, TX. There was a miscommunication regarding the promotion they had going on and I unknowingly bought a 6 pack of Cinnabon for my coworkers in my office, thinking that in doing so I would be getting a card for free Schlotzky’s for a year. Unfortunately the staff was untrained and did not let me know that I would be unable to receive that promotion before I made the purchase even though I asked. When I was (finally) made aware of the mistake I called asking for a manager to see if I could be given a refund for the cinnamon rolls as there was no point in me purchasing them at this point. Instead the manager suggested that I come back the same day later in the afternoon and pick up a card, which was acceptable to me. Later that day I call on my way to the location and ask for the same manager I spoke to only to be told that she was gone for the day. I tried explaining the situation, understanding that the same person wouldn’t be there all day, but the worker on the phone said that there was not a manager present that I could speak to and that they were unable to help me. I called several times and spoke to the same manager, every time the same thing happened, apparently this manager got off work at the same time that I did, so today I had to take an unpaid break from work to get this resolved. I assumed it could be fixed relatively quickly as I had called earlier today to verify that the manager I had been speaking to would be in the store at the time I would be able to stop by. When I got to the restaurant I asked to speak to the manager I had been speaking to. I was waiting for one hour before someone was able to speak to me and it was not the manager I had been speaking to because, as usual, she was not there. Even though I called to make sure she would be there. This manager continues to say that there is nothing she could do and that I must have made a mistake or that I wasn’t understanding the situation or what the other manager was saying before. I had made sure to not leave room for misunderstanding when I called the first time and every time consequently. after saying there was nothing to be done for my situation, this new manager walked away and into the kitchen where I could not follow. I left the restaurant and decided to call the store once more to see of there was someone I could speak to about what I was going through. The same manager I had spoken to in person answered the phone and asked me for my name and phone number so that she could call the other manager and ask what the other manager had to say. I gave her the information and went back to work as I had already wasted well over an hour and a half for nothing. Later I received a call from two numbers, one belonging to the store, the other unknown. I call the store back just to be told, again, that there was nothing they could do. I explained that this was unacceptable and that if there was nothing to be done about the situation that they should have told me as much in the beginning before I had invested all of this additional time attempting to be re-compensated for their mistake. The manager became belligerent and kept interrupting me saying there was nothing she could do. Until she hung up on me. Upset about wasting all this time I didn’t call back, as I felt it was pointless. I call the other unknown phone number, only to be answered by the same manager, sounding frustrated she said that I was calling her cell phone. I immediately start to apologize as I did not intend to call her cell phone while she was at work, even though she called me from an unknown number. She continues going on a tangent, ignoring my apologies, saying how she could do nothing to help me and that she “doesn’t have time for this!” at this point I am tired of speaking to her and hang up the phone, not wanting to hear her complain about me calling her, by mistake, on her cell phone. This is absolutely unacceptable. The situation was their fault to begin with and could have been fixed very easily by accepting my request for a refund that first day. I am so overwhelmed with how difficult this simple problem was made. Completely ruined the entire chain of restaurants for me! Which is a shame considering how much I enjoyed Schlotzsky’s before. Very disappointed with how they treat their clients, forcing them to go on a wild goose chase for something that should have been resolved quickly.
The cell phone I was called from is 713-419-XXXXX and belonged to Mimi Pearson, who is the owner of the store,
and the Store’s Phone number is 281-204-9244

When into the deli at 10 minutes to 8 before closing time period ordered my food and the young lady told me I had to take it outside to eat period even though there was customer sitting in there eating she told me I had to take mine out on the patio treating. I asked her was it a black say because everyone that was sitting in the restroom was white. I told her I was not going to sit down outside in 97 degree weather here in Phoenix Arizona and heat my food. It was 10 minutes before closing so I asked for my money to be returned. She told me she could not return my money and I could get it the next morning. I’m in Phoenix Arizona working on the founder for building project. I told her I would not get off until 6:30 in the evening she then said the money would be there when I got off period I returned to get the money at 6:45 and a woman at the counter said I don’t know if you ate or not I have to check with everybody that was here last night. It was very racially motivated. So I decided to file suit against that restaurant.

I visited a store on January 13, 2017 in Dallas, Texas, address: 3335 W. Wheatland Rd, #180, Dallas, Tx.75237. My family and I eat at Schlotzky’s quite regularly and I was extremely disappointed in the food, the service and the overall experience at this location. I ordered the pick 2, with chicken mac and cheese and tortilla soup, my son had a small deluxe original. I also ordered 2 drinks and a bag of chips. Upon receiving our meal , which took an unusually long time considering the store was not busy, the mac and cheese was dry and like warm. When I asked if I could get some extra sauce for the Mac and cheese he informed me that they didn’t have extra cheese sauce and would have to make a new one. I eat the Mac and cheese often because I really enjoy it. I was concerned also with the cleanliness of the dining room. Most of the tables were dirty and there was only 2 other patrons in the dining area. Whomever the young man was behind the counter was not very friendly and I felt very uncomfortable with his attitude. Being a small business owner I can can assure you I was appalled by his actions, or lack of action to ensure that what I had purchased was correct and edible. My son and I will not return to that store in the future even though we pass through there several times a month. Extremely disappointed at this time. I travel all over the state and even out of state retrieving cars from auctions and delivering them to car lots, this gives me the opportunity to eat at many different places and we choose Schlotzky’s more often than not.
