To Whom it May Concern:
I have been a loyal customer for years and I was very disappointed when I encountered such poor customer service after renewing my service in August of this year. My experience up until this present day has been unacceptable. The agents that present the company, themselves and the customers are less than I expected. I have been told non-truths and given misinformation. I am very upset with the level of service me and my family are receiving, but yet we are regularly being billed. I agreed to, two (2) new contacts (1) in August when this nightmare began and the second in October neither contact has been honored. In both contracts I was to receive three (3) months of free service, that has not happened, I have been billed each month. I have been waiting for months to get the upgrade on the system so currently my system is inactive to no use, but yet I have been billed. I would like a full refund and my contact to be honored. Please someone in authority contact me as soon as possible.

Worst customer service team I have experienced. From day one and it has been five years. Now I cannot seem to get out of my contract even thought I been told told it should be cancelled as of certain date. People are rude and lie. They never call back .

I have and issue where the alarm is going off at all hours of the night. I have called Safe home Security on 4 different times. I reported this over a week ago and I still haven’t got an answer or no call backs and can not get a service person to come to my home. I would not recommend this company to anyone. This company is crap. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

I have been forced out of my home because it was sold. They claimed I had signed for five years, but I didn’t. It was only for two , no one ever mentioned 5 years to me. I got a phony paper in the mail that looked suspicious and illegal. It was a forged signature that looked like it was traced. I don’t sign my name like that. I know what legal papers look like and these weren’t legal at all. I’m hiring an attorney to fix this illegal mess. These people are so rude and obnoxious they turn your stomach. I’m also filling a complaint with the law.

I received a knock on my door one afternoon, a sales guy selling a security system. I agreed to use Safe Home Security. It has been nothing but a nightmare. Less than a week after installation, the system started to send error messages and sounding off alarms throughout the house. I called for service to fix this problem. Unlike the speed and readiness for a technician to come out for installation, to get a service technician out to repair a problem is impossible. I cannot count the amount of time that I have been on the phone with customer service and all the energy that has been spent. It has been nothing but a tragic mistake to have agreed to do business with this company. I have asked repeatedly for them to cancel my contract and come out and remove their equipment. I have been met with refusal of my request and have been reminded that I had three days after installation to cancel and that was all. My problems started after a week of installation. It has been less than a month, still with no resolution and I just want out of this contract. I am viewing that if you are have problems with a company within a month of doing business with them and you are thoroughly dissatisfied with their service within that month because of their errors then they should honor the customers requests.

I’ve had service with Safe Home since 2006. I have been very disappointed in your service for some years. I never had the opportunity to find another security company and cancel service with you!
I accidentally set off my alarm. Safe Home never called me, so I called to see if a signal was received from my home. The answer was no, but we need to place a service call to have my system checked. I set up an appointment, but nobody cared enough to help. They kept dropping the ball and no one would accept responsibility as to why my appointment request was ignored.
Now, I’m having difficulty cancelling my service with Safe Home! I will be glad to explain my horrible experiences with someone from your corporate office!
Thank you

Be careful for contracts that you have not signed that are mysteriously showing up under your account. Trying to get this resolved it’s a nightmare.
I was relatively happy for three years with Safe Home Security. Last year, after I was out of the contract, I called the company to cancel my account due to undergoing a renovation to my house and my system was going to be off line for some time. SHS convinced me to keep my account dormant, or at least that’s what I thought it is.
My house is still under construction, but a few months ago, I started to be billed again, without never giving any authorization. After numerous hours on the phone, it turns out I am under a 5 year contract, something I never been aware. Who even signs a 5 year contract anyway? They said the signoff is done electronically through e-sign. I checked the IP address of the computer that e-signed that contract and is not from my phone or any of the house computers. Customer service and the two managers I requested to talk to never got back to me. I sent an email to David Roman, the CEO of the company. Hope he will address not only my situation but the whole shady practices undergoing in his company.

I am writing because my mother has dementia. A service rep came to her house and had her to sign a 6 year contract. I have power of attorney and forward this to customer service. I can’t get them to cancel illegal contact or return my call.

My system is not being monitored because I no longer have a land line phone, I have been without being monitored for months now and o one informed me, I called today (22 May) and was told I had to pay the amount up to the end of my contract to discontinue service or pay an additional $10.0 per month. I think I will get some legal assistance on this matter if Safe Home will not take care of this. Someone contact me at the above address orc call me. You have my number…
William Livingstn says
On 21 May I accidentally opened a door before clearing the alarm system. I did not receive a call from the monitoring office. About mid afternoon I called customer service and learned that my system was not being monitored. The customer service rep asked if I had changed telephone companies and I advised I had. I was asked if it was a line system and I advised it was a wireless system and they informed me my current control box did not support the wireless telephone. They said they could install a fix and it would be an additional $10.00 per month. On 22 May I called to cancel my service because Safe Home was not monitoring I was told by a supervisor Jacob Decarli, that I had a contract until 2020 and I had to pay the fee up to the end of the contract. I did not want to pay and I wanted a copy of the contract. He emailed the contact and in paragraph 3 it states than Same Home is required to monitor my system. I do not feel responsible for any additional fees to have my system operating as it should. I am still waiting for Mr Decarli to send the Notice of Cancellation. Since Safe Home is not monitoring my system I want to cancel my service.

Yes I would like to discontinue my service with safe home security because of lack of technical support for customer service for management and also I have equipment that was taken out of my house. Technician wired up through an old company so now I have no service I have a control box that is constantly beeping and it’s driving me crazy but now my house is unprotected because I have nothing that is working but you are asking for my money I reported this over a week ago and I still haven’t got no answers or no call backs so please do not attempt to collect any monies because I will report this to the Better Business Bureau I will get an attorney I would do whatever I have to do this for you just to come and get your equipment discontinued my contract so I can get a better company in here

Twice I have been called at work regarding my bill. I thought my alarm went off. I told them stop calling me at work. I never got a call on my cell phone. There is no way I can see to pay on line and when I cal the phone number they tell me I have to speak tosomeone named Char who is not there and gives me other extentions to call (1600 and 1620) which keep on ringing. What kind of nonsense is this?

I have paid for a system for 2 years that I cannot use since I no longer have a landline. I have called written to get the system cut off before the automatic roll over contract takes place. I did everything in my power to stop the automatic contract. Today a high pressure sales woman called me to tell me my contract had renewed and I could not cancel it until next June! She was very very rude. Don’t do business with these people. Customer since 1997!

Let’s see where this goes…anything like the customer service and I will probably be stuck with a system not working till my contract runs out!! Go with another company…this company doesn’t care about it’s customers!!

I have attempted to discontinue the service for two months. The house was sold and they continue to withdraw money out of the checking account. I called and spoke with several representatives and they are rude, unprofessional and do not listen. The person’s home is a disabled individual that is both cognitively and physically unable to make her own decisions. The company refuses to stop taking out funds and after numerous request to close the account (the house is SOLD) the account remains open. I have Power of Attorney over this individual and they never requested my authorization.
Terrible

We have been a customer of Safe Home Security since December 2003 and always pay our bill on time. We have excellent credit and have for many years. Yet recently we tried to buy a new vehicle and were declined due to a delinquency reported by Safe Home Security re: our quarterly invoice of $124.00!!!! We move in April 2016 from our home of 28 years and had the security equipment moved to our new home. However, we gave a different billing address than our new home since we spend majority of our time at a leased apt in Winter Haven, Fl. Safe Home sent the bill to our new home so our bill did not get paid on time. When they contacted us by phone, we paid it over the phone immediately and told them to correct the billing address. Yet, they sent a delinquency notice to a credit agency – causing us a lot of problems. After talking to their customer service team today – it could take quite a while to get our credit report straightened out. That’s just wrong and no way to maintain positive customer relations – especially after being a long term customer who maintained good credit history.
