Rosati’s Pizza was founded in Chicago, Illinois, in 1927 by Saverio Rosati. The company operates a mostly franchised chain of pizza and Italian food restaurants.
The company is the second largest chain in the greater Chicago area, only just behind Portillo’s. From a single Chicago restaurant, the company has grown to more than 158 locations in 12 states and is actively expanding. The company is best known for its Chicago style, thin crust pizzas, and calzones.
The company makes its own sausage from its Chicago plant and almost all items are made from scratch at each location. Rosati’s Pizza is still family owned and operated, with the great-grandson of Sam Rosati operating his own location.
In April 2023, a court ordered Rosati’s to repay $250,000 in back pay and damages to employees.

Rosati in conroe, texas is unprofessional, the owners are extremely rude and yell way too much. I sat in there and could hear them yelling at their employees. On top of that they allow two little girls to work there, which to me seems an unprofessional, the little girls would also fight with each other. The food was fine but overall the environment of the work place seemed not to be a good one.
The Rosatis in gold canyon, az is horrible and the need to drug test their employees. They always mess up the order. Hire better people please!
Rosatis in foxlake that i have been ordering for years from told me because it was a online order that they can’t change my ingredients in my pizza i order online i called them right after i just sent it i order Italian beef instead of Italian sausage in my pizza and they would not change it i am extremely unhappy about this my family and i spent so much money there i am very sad about this and i will not order from them again
The Lake Zurich Rosatis has been my go-to pizza place for years and years. Manager “Rob” has always been professional, kind, helpful, and beyond generous to me and our local church.I even have had them deliver very large catering orders every Sunday for six years for our parish’s events. The other day (now that Covid is easing), I called to request a large delivery about 20 minutes away. I was told by the manager Rob that they no longer can cater large events that are not right in town because their catering truck needs replacement and Rosatis Corporate will NOT replace it. WHaaaaat??? This is a huge money maker for them to be able to cater for parties, banquets, and other events at places all around. They NEED a catering truck. It is a poor reflection on you as a corporation to not provide for a franchise that is doing everything right and employs an excellent manager. That is ridiculous.
My wife and I have been customers of your Pizza for 3-5 years, We usually order from the store in Woodstock IL, maybe once a week. The last couple of months the crust on the thin pizza is not good. it was so thin that it ripped as we took it out of the box, it was so thin that it seemed to be soggy and we always ask for it to be crispy. at about 20-25 dollars a pop this is not right. It seems that maybe the crust is not as thick as usual We don’t know if your company is trying to cut cost by making the crust thinner but we will give it another try and then move on if nessary
We recently purchased (3/22/20) Rosatis Pizza at the South Power location in Mesa, Arizona. (2235 S. Power Rd #118 Mesa, Arizona 85209). The price for a 14 inch was $28.69. (no extras, included the $200 off coupon) We have enjoyed Rosatis in the past. The normal price was around $16 to $17 depending on the extras (wings etc
It appears the price was raised in response to the caronavirus going around. This appears to be a case of price gouging at this particular time.
I would imagine this is a franchise, but I feel we should let you know of our dissatisfaction with this recent transaction.
Location in phx on thunderbird and 27ave employee states they haven’t had breaded chicken in years. Manager states the menu changes a lot and just changed 2 weeks ago. Bunch of excuses as to why I was told why they don’t have it even though it’s clearly avail for chicken parm, but not one sorry sir or a anything close to that. HORRIBLE CUST SERVICE!
Well the McHenry location has manager that yells at it’s minor employees daily. Both managers are pieces of work. Won’t get any more of my business.
We ordered from the Rosati’s in Huntley, IL on April 16th. The delivery person parked in the neighbors driveway….couldn’t figure out why. He dropped off our pizza and there was a small box on top of the pizza box. Appeared to be BBQ wings. The delivery person left before I noticed the name on the wings was our neighbor’s. I called Rosati’s back and told them they delivered our neighbors order to our house. The girl said she would call the delivery guy. She calls me back and asks if I can deliver the wings to my neighbor’s house. WHAT? I don’t feel it’s my responsibility to deliver my neighbors order because the delivery guy didn’t want to come back and deliver the order where it belonged. It’s a liability! Called the manager about the situation and he claimed he would take $5.00 off our order as we had to deliver our neighbors order so why should we have to pay a delivery charge? He lied!! I have been waiting to see if I would see a credit in my checking account and he has taken NOTHING off our bill! We have ordered a lot from Rosatis, we tip REALLY well! The delivery person received a $10.00 tip from us and WE had to do his job! Rosatis does not care about what kind of service they provide. A previous time we ordered from them and it took an hour and a half to get our pizza!! Needless to say the pizza was TERRIBLE!! I would be hard pressed to ever order from Rosati’s ever again! I notice on your corporate web site there are complaints about your franchises from all over the United States. Maybe it’s time to start checking out the franchises and why they are so bad!

Customer they are not marked for each location to be used there only was put on hold by girl for over 15 minutes had to hang and call back asked for Mgr. Named Chris was not helpful and rude about there policy he says they have about that .I was loyal customer for years not happy will not order from that location ever again !!
This is difficult to write but I’m concerned about quality of recent @ Valrico, FL location. 90% of the time it’s great pizza except for Friday nights.
We stopped ordering on this night as any thin crust pizza we order comes with crust edges that are just plain burnt. These piece are nearly impossible to eat. It doesn’t look appealing to eat. Doesn’t matter the size of pizza.
I really want this owner /location to be successful. We have mentioned it before but still not worth the gamble. Please help them.
Thanks
Hi, I had your pizza for the first time 4 days ago on Friday 6/16/2017 . Purchased rosatis 10651 w olive avePeoria Arizona. It was carry out chk #1 for Larry 623 977 XXXXX……I brought the pizza to a friend’s house…none of us liked the pizza…we went out of town for the weekend so I froze the pizza and yesterday on Monday I brought the pizza and the receipt into rrosatis where I purchased it. The manager said in order for me to get a refund I had to contact you corporate and you need to call the store to allow the refund. I called other rosais in my town they said that is not true but have heard a lot of complaints about the peoria sore…..please authorize this return asap…..thank you….larry
I called to place an order and this ignorant guy on the phone tells me he can’t take my order then hung up the phone I never knew why it happened I’m guess next time I will call pizza hut instead at least they don’t treat customers like trash. By the way this happened at the 310 W. Indian Trail location in aurora il. I would hope to discuss this matter with corporate.
Thank You,
Meldon Macon
I just had an encounter with the racist white manager at the 2990 Ogden Ave Aurora location. I was denied service by an employee and was told to call the next day and speak with the manager. When I called he basically said “I don’t talk to ni**ers” with his demeanor and impatience. He said a fraudulent credit card had been used before at the address that was linked to my phone number. I told him that this was some kind of mistake and I wanted to clear it up. He would not listen to what I had to say, he talked over me the whole two minutes we were on the phone. By the beginning of me trying to explain my position he told me to have a nice day and hung up the phone. I immediately called back to ask him for his name, he told me his name was “Manager” and hung up the phone again. Three days prior to this encounter with the manager, I called in and placed an order for $60 cash and there was no problem. The reason I believe that it is a racism problem behind this is because everything was fine before I came in for my pick up order and showed them my face and my race. The guy that took my cash and handed me my order was acting really funny once I came in and picked up my pizza. He didn’t speak, he wasn’t pleasant at all. I didn’t know what that was all about at the time, but now I know. I believe this guy named “Manager” (I will get his real name) is the guy that I was served by.
I am not suggesting that all Rosatis restaurants are ran by racist managers, but this one definitely is. We have spent hundreds of dollars legitimately at this specific location for a couple years, and for him to treat us like that and not even listen tells me everything I need to know. Believe me, he wouldn’t have treated us like that if we were white. He would have at least listened and not hung up on a customer twice when they are only trying to straighten out a mistake. Please contact me at 630-803-XXXXX. Thanks.
