Rockwell International bought Collins Radio in 1973. In 2001 Rockwell spun-off its avionics division as Rockwell Collins.
Today Rockwell Collins makes aviation electronics and communication equipment for commercial and military aircraft. Products include in-flight entertainment systems for commercial aircraft and airborne/ground/shipboard communication systems.
