sweetFrog stores also sells merchandise, which is centered around the company’s frog mascots, Scoop and Cookie.

By 2012 the company had over 100 stores, and 240 stores by 2013.

In 2012 Boxwood Capital Partners made a minority investment in the company, which funded growth. In February of 2015, Boxwood Capital Partners acquired sweetFrog Enterprises LLC.

Today sweetFrog has 348 stores in the United States as well as stores in the Dominican Republic, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.
