Oswego Sub Shop Corporate Office

Clark Greene opened the Oswego Sub Shop in 1969. At that time, the sandwich shop had 10 sub recipes, and some family recipes, such as the home-cooked roast beef sandwich.

Clark passed the sandwich deli to his son Bill Green, who ran the operation for another 35 years before passing the sandwich shop down to his son, Bill Green, Jr. Junior is still the CEO of the company.

Bill Junior did a complete overhaul of the restaurant, both inside and out in 2002. Although the restaurant was as popular as ever, Junior was not quite satisfied and did a second overhaul in 2009. Today the restaurant is substantially larger and houses both a state of the art kitchen and a bakery.

The Oswego Sub Shop has a larger menu than before, including more than 65 varieties of subs, wraps, and sandwiches – as well as salads, soups, chicken wings, side dishes, and fresh-baked desserts.

A well-known employee and manager of the Oswego Sub Shop, Val Clark, retired after 42 years of making sandwiches.

Oswego Sub Shop maintains its corporate office in the same location where its been for the past 50 years, in Oswego, New York.

Erbert and Gerbert’s Corporate Office

Kevin and Beth Schippers opened their first restaurant in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in 1988. The store name and sandwich names come from characters that Kevin’s father made up when he told him stories.

Kevin’s big desire wasn’t in sandwich making, so the couple sold the franchise business in 2003 to a group of investors. The original sandwich location on Water Street is still owned by Kevin and Beth.

In January 2020, the company announced that it was creating a plant-based sandwich that would be available for a limited time only.

Due to the coronavirus crisis and subsequent quarantine of 2020, the company began offering free delivery service with a $10 minimum order as of March 19, 2020, for a limited time.

In January 2023, the company opened a new location in Minnesota and announced plans for 7 more locations in the state later in the year.

The company continues to maintain its corporate office in Eau Clare, Wisconsin.

Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack Corporate Office

Prince's Hot Chicken logo

James Thornton Prince was a well-known man in Nashville, Tennessee, in the early 1940s. He loved fried chicken and was quite the ladies man. The story of how Prince’s Hot Chicken got its beginnings might be anecdotal, but one of Prince’s steady girlfriends was angry that he had taken another girl out on the town. Rather than being angry, she decided to get even and made a big pan of fried chicken, overloaded with red chili powder. Prince was not upset or angry, in fact, he asked for more and asked about her recipe.

Prince's chicken plateThe first Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack was called the Bar=B-Que Chicken Shack. It moved several times until it ended up near the Grand Ol’ Opry. Customers would come to the chicken shack after each performance. The company is now owned and operated by Thornton Prince’s great-nephew, Andre Prince Jeffries.
