In 2002 Buy.com expanded beyond electronics and began adding soft goods to their catalog.
Buy.com has an extensive eBay store and has over 1 million positive reviews.
In 2010 Buy.com was acquired by Rakuten, Inc., Japan’s biggest e-commerce company. The acquisition had an approximate value of $250 million.
In 2013 Rakuten, Inc. announced the official rebranding of Buy.com to “Rakuten.com Shopping.”
Rakuten.com Shopping offers more than 17 million products and is ranked in the top three e-commerce companies in the world.

Please have someone from the U.S. corporate office contact me regarding the incompetent customer service I have received today as a result of your defective “verification” process.

We are sellers on Rakuten.com, every 5 or 6 days we are shut down, inactive and never told why! We paid an upfront fee to sell on your site but you keep shutting us down, we can’t ship orders buyers have paid for and we can’t get paid for items sold last month and the worst part is that we send many emails and no one responds! there is no seller support in your business, you ignore your sellers, why? we make you money!
please have someone reply to this email, we need help, we don;t need to be ignored!
