My name is Gilbert Richard DBA MS Gators Auto Sales. I am 65 years old and the golf cart really makes the job easier. I have been a member since 2011. On 11/10/22 I went to your Lafayette location rented a golf cart and proceed to go pull my parts. I went to the Dodge section and as I turned the corner there was a dodge truck with the tail gate down which made me go a little to my left which I noticed a mud puddle but the whole location is suppose to be limestone so as I passed half in the puddle to get around the tail gate the golf cart slide into a hole that was over a foot deep which cause the golf cart to cease running I was then told I could not rent carts any more so asked to speak to manager he said he talked to corporate and they said I couldn’t rent carts any more. I contact Mr Ben Carter and after about a week he told me that the manager took it upon himself to deny my rentals.
The manager also said that I signed a waiver that I was responsible for and could be charged for any damages to cart. So I am figuring since I didnt take the ban of no rental laying down that they are now threatening that I may have to pay for the damages. How is it the story changes that he says he talk to corporate when talking to me, yet when questioned by your Mr Carson he said he took it upon himself to end my rentals. How is it that I can no longer rent golf carts because of your managers failure to up keep the yard? I have been trying to contact Mr Daryl Brown, who is supposely the person above the Lafayette manager leaving messages for a week now. I really need some assistance my number is 337 380 9568 I do not think the accident was my fault and do not think I should be denied rentals. I have pictures and a lot more to say. Thank you for your time.
