Dir Madam, Thomas De Robertis mobile:014078****
Please accept my apologies for taking up some of your valuable time.
My name is Thomas De Robertis I was employed at WA Specialty Alloys on the 21/10/2014 as the OH&S Supervisor.
I was sacked yesterday by Clive Reader who is the Operations Manager here in Western Australia for bringing to his attention that the production and maintenance Manager Muhamed Dizdar
Is discriminating ,bullying ,threatening and committing racial acts against shop floor employees I also copied in Kyle Abbott on an e mail yesterday asking to give me the opportunity to explain my side of the story there was no reply. I have doXXXXentation ,e mails, photos and witnesses that can verify these allegations .All I`m asking is to get the opportunity to prove that this is occurring. The Union is currently investigating one of these cases and there are quite a few more. There is also an unfair dismissal case going to court in May 2015 where I can also proof that the employee was right as I have photos and statements. As I was sacked due to being discriminated against I will be submitting an application to the Australian government but am willing to discuss these issues before I make my final decision. I have also approached Clive Reader on several occasions by giving him an e mail that I was sent, and asked to target employees so that they could be sacked. Clive Reader took no action. A forty year old employee was brought to tears and physically threatened in my presence and no action was taken. It is my duty of care and human right as an Australian Citizen to bring this to the attention of the proper authorities and it was part of my job as the OH&S supervisor to deal with these issues if senior management does not take action. I explained to Clive Reader and Muhamed Dizdar that they and WASA are liable to prosecution under the contend outlined in the OH&S regulations if they as senior officers of a company are aware of the risk of bullying and fail to take reasonable practicable steps to eliminate that risk and the fine starts at$ 600.000 dollars. I will also seek compensation as I no longer have a job just for being honest and by obeying the law.
Please investigate these issues as it has escalated dramatically over the past two month and Management have not made the slightest effort to resolve these issues.
Please feel free to contact me at any time as soon as possible as this needs to stop.
Kind Regards Thomas
