Help…. We need a Pollo Tropical in Freeport Florida it’s a growing city and we are in need of good chicken here. Best place would be SR20/SR331. You’ll have no competition whatsoever. And soon we will have our first Hotel. Population is growing. Please get one out here.

My daughter and myself went to the Pollo Tropical near Alico Road in Fort Myers tonight for dinner. The young man acted like it was hard to understand what we ordered as black ants were crawling around the check out/ order spot. Did not ring up part of my order. When o asked for my cups to get drinks I was told to wait. He finally went to a back area to fill up the cups and didn’t ring up my drink correctly. Chicken was dry and had to fight to keep the flies out of my black beans. Will I ever go back? No!

    Good afternoon,
I visited the Pollo Tropical on 3051 W. Commercial Blvd, Fort Lauderdale FL, 33309 on 5/9/2019. Despite the fact that I waited 15 minutes on the drive through line. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and a side of french fries. When I got to the window there was one of the rudest person I have encounter in a long time. She verified my order as a Caesar wrap and side of rice, I stated no I ordered a side of fries. Her frustration and rudeness was apparent, she handed me my food and change with an attitude, did not thank me, and had the body language that she was being bothered to do her job. This is not good considering there are many other restaurants in the area. I will be gong to Boston Market across the street from here forward..

Went every 7 to 10 days with friends – ordered roasted chicken with sides. Not sure how long ago it was, perhaps 10 weeks back, ordered our meals with, as always, tortilla sides only to be told they were no longer being served. We left and haven’t been back.
Please let me know if you ever plan on providing your customer base with this essential side dish by allowing us to purchase with our meals? I’m sure we’re not the only unhappy ones. Raise the price to three for a dollar if they’re not cost effective. That’s it, thank you and good luck!

We had dinner last evening (10-26-18) approx. 6PM; at the location on 192; near Celebration, Fl. We have dined here many times, but recently have noticed that it has gone down in quality/cleanliness.
We experienced the following; the sprite machine was off in taste. Spoke to one of the employees and she tasted and agreed it was not right. The bathrooms were not clean, the outside area, tables, chairs were filthy; trash bins over flowing; the chicken was over-cooked, dried out! We purchased 1/2 chicken dinner with 2 sides, 1/4 chicken, no sides and a quesadilla salad. This area is expanding with the Margaritaville shopping and homes, & with many new places to eat….hope that this gets corrected, so people continue to come; would hate to see it close..

I am extremely upset with my first and last visit to Pollo Tropical. My family and I went through the drive through a 9:42 pm on 7/29/18. After paying for 3 chicken sandwiches (nothing special), I was told to pull up to wait. I saw 2 or 3 cars come after me and waited at the window and got their food. But I was told to pull up to wait. Next, after waiting 10 minutes, I went inside to see if they forgot about me. Someone asked if needed something. I said I am still waiting for my food…”Did you forget about me?” He said, the chicken sandwiches? “They are being made.” I go back to my car and wait. Just before I was about to go back in for continuing to wait so long, someone brings out my food. They gave me my food and said sorry for the wait. No explanation. Not “here’s some free fries for waiting so long.” Nothing to show they actually cared that they made me wait so long. 18 minute wait in total based on the time on my receipt! Totally unacceptable! I will never go back to this or any other Pollo Tropical.

We had lunch at 6531 Lake Andrew Drive, Melbourne, Fla 32940 and every table in the restaurant was dirty with bits of food, sticky or both. Obviously the tables hadn’t wiped off since lunch or before.

Same for Fountain area that smelled dirty and musty.

Also Ladies room needed a through cleaning.

PEMBROKE PINES, FLORIDA SUNDAY/ Late night drive thru service is horrendous. The young man handling the orders has a very bad attitude towards every customer that was ordering food. I over heard him say various times they didn’t have this or that. If you asked for anything he would say we don’t have this…which was a lie. I ordered boiled yuca and asked for sauce and he told me they didn’t have any until I told him yeah…what’s that on the counter. I believe it was a game to him. They were closing within a hour and the staff didn’t want to cook extra food or give away sauces. He was rude and had a very bad attitude towards every customer. Really, really bad services. They need to be trained to treat people with respect.

I just want to inform of you of how unhappy I’ve been with my experience with Pollo Tropical.

In short, I purchased a Gift Certificate in the amount of $50 for my son. When I tracked the package, I saw that it was delivered and signed by someone I don’t know. I reached out to Fed Ex and they confirmed that the address on the shipping label did not concur with my doXXXXentation. At this point, (9-22-17) I reached out to your offices via phone. I was told that there was nothing they could do because “I” entered the incorrect address on the order form. However, I kept my order confirmation that shows that I did order correctly.

I have made numerous phone calls and sent several emails…my emails haven’t been acknowledged by anyone in your company.

I know that $50 to your company may not be much, but it is to me. I feel like I have been swindled and taken advantage of.

Please let me know how this will be resolved.

On May 7th I visited the Polo Tropical located at 11429 Pines Blvd., in Pembroke Pines, FL. I was told that this location would not honor senior discounts at the drive thru. I spoke to the manager, Yasmani Bineiro, who informed me that it is a COOPERATE POLICY OF POLO TROPICAL NOT TO ACCEPT SENIOR DISCOUNTS AT THE DRIVE THRU. When asked why, he replied it takes too long to calculate the order including the discount. REALLY????? By the way, THIS IS THE ONLY Polo Tropical where I have experienced this. Please inform me. Is it a cooperate policy not to accept senior discounts at the drive thru?

    Pollo Tropical
    2320 N Federal Highway
    Pompano Beach, Fl. 33064
    Store #10117

I was not satisfied with the manager on staff that night. I spoke with the cashier and she was nice, I ordered the “Chicken Quesadilla” and “Ribs”, after paying for the food I was told that there were no ribs (the cashier apologized) I was okay with it and asked if she could just refund the money. The manager gave me my refund in cash instead of the way I originally paid for. I was fine with it but advised that I did not receive the correct amount. She became agitated and advised the cashier to give me the rest of my change and then stated that,”She needs it more than we do”. I found that completely disrespectful and this is not customer service. I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me, I also called and no one answered the phone that night. I work with DaVita Inc. throughout Broward County, we use your company for our catering services but because of the treatment that I received that day, I will make sure that we will not bring our business to your restaurants if this kind of behavior is considered acceptable with your company.

This complaint is about the Pollo Tropical on 87ave and bird red in Miami, Florida.
I order every Sunday at that Pollo Tropical. I ordered a dark meat meal, white meat meal, and a Churrasco meal with plantains. I received 2 dark meat orders. The Churrasco was smaller than the palm of my hand and they FORGOT the plaintains. I called the manager to complain as I do every week Because they always forget something. I was a screaming Because I was tired of getting the wrong food. The manager barely spoke English, mind you I am also Hispanic but I do believe that a manager should be fluent in both languages so he can communicate with his customers . I asked for plates and 4 sauces of which I received neither. If I was a shopper they would have received the worse score and then corporate would get involved. Please train your associates better and it all begins with the Management staff . Today I am ordering again, let’s see what happens.

Christmas Eve, family together in McDonough, Ga and decided we would get Pollo Tropical for dinner at 7:15, BUT wait…they are completely out of chicken. You heard me. A chicken place out of chicken. I-75 exit 218. How about, this is the SECOND time this location has been out of chicken. Last time they were running a special when they ran out. This time it was Christmas Eve. Both times were between 6-7 pm. I would fire whomever is in charge of keeping the product on the shelf. Loosing money and customers. Not good business. Let’s see if I get a response.

Just want to let you know about the terrible service that I received at your store in Millenia Orlando Florida. I received the same terrible service last year during Black Friday when I ordered catering. I wanted to try again because it seem like things have improved in the store. However it was the same old thing my first catering order was incomplete and the manager gave my secretary a hard time. I picked up the second order in the afternoon and it wasn’t even ready and what I ordered they couldn’t fulfill because they ran out of product. I deal with a lot of foot traffic out with my business and I don’t think I can continue doing that my concerns are not answered I have tried to reach Mike the district manager and I have not heard back.
