On a scale if 1-10 – 10 being the best I rate my experience a “0”! I am highly upset with the grooming at the Location in Durant Oklahoma. I have emailed the company already. I took two of my babies in for a groom Friday May 26th. My female shih-poo came home misrable. She has been licking her “private” area non stop! She can’t walk without scooting and stopping to lick. When I went to look at what was going on – my dog is red and clearly has clipper burns in that area! I know the groomer had to have known when she did it. She did not bother to tell me or my husband . If my dog is not better by tomorrow I am taking her to the vet and Petsense will be receiving the bill. I want a full refund as well. This is not the outcome I wanted or expected! Obviously this groomer was not well trained. I demand that management roll the camera back and investigate what happened during her groom. I know she had to have been aware the clippers were hot and that she was hurting my dog! Never again will I ever go to this store again! I am 100000% dissatisfied . I want management to contact me. My dogs are like my children- if I pay $100 for two very small dogs to be groomed- they damn sure shouldn’t come home with clipper burns. Be very careful on this location , they are not trained groomers!

I applied for a job as sales person and to run the puppy training classes at the Madison Heights Virginia store with the manager Christy. I have a lot of experience in this field as I worked for the SPCA in several locations training dogs to prepare them for adoption. My specialty was dogs with aggression, fear aggression and or considered unadoptable for other reasons. Not only am I qualified I am over qualified but with Corona jobs are scarce. I was offered the job but was told that a conference call was due with corporate to secure the training part of the job because this store had not yet offered this service. It was a friday and she told me she would contact corporate on monday but monday came and went. I called back and was told that her manager at corporate (Tennessee) was on vacation. Called back again and was told Christy was on vacation. Called back, she was there but i was put on hold for 20 minutes but she never picked up. I made several more attempts in the following 2 weeks but was always avoided. This was highly unprofessional and to have a manager who doesn’t have the guts to inform a potential that they have changed their mind is terrible business practices. This lady can’t run this store anymore than I could run the country! This wasted 2.5 weeks of my valuable time where I could have been job hunting elsewhere. I am so mad i could just spit nails!!!!!!

I visited pet sense twice in Los Lunas NM and they were not very helpful. I never encountered such unfriendly and unhelpful employees. I am a Veteran and they don’t give military discounts. I just don’t think I will ever shop there again.

I have gotten service for my dog three times with the same service requested every time. Every time I come in I tell the grooming department I want the De-shed package first, time it was $60.00, next time I brought her it was $70, and today it is $80.00. This is the base price. My issue is there is no price list nor will they give customers a price list for just the basic services. Instead they are told by their manger to read off the prices. Which I am starting to feel as if I am being cheated. When you come in for the service the first thing asked is, “What are you getting?” Then the groomer look in this binder and give a price. I asked today if I can get a copy of the price list this way I can see what the price of the service is I am getting for my pet. I was told by the manager that the Corporate Office HQ said do not give customers price list. I never heard anything like this before from any pet service before. I am so unhappy with Petsense because this is a world wide company and the HQ is not allowing customers to see the price list or get a copy of the price list. PetSmart have price list online and also give customers list of the starting basic package prices. I am very disappointed in Pet Sense. Tried to contact the HQ to verify the information however, the manger would not give me the number nor could I find the number on their site. The number under the address does not work.

I spend hundreds of Dollars at PetSense, My Dog is a Diabetic and he is on a Merrick Diet, This dog food is $95 per bag, I purchase it once a month, I have been buying it for 3 years at Pet Sence in Lancaster,SC.. I have seen this Store go through many,many different Managers!! The new manager now ir horrible!!! I always look forward to the Members reward program, buy 10 bags get one free!! When I purchased a bag in August, She (Manager) saaid, Sept you get a free bag. This is a blessing to me as I am on Disability and also have to buy my Dogs insulin on a monthly basic at $220. when I went in Sept 3rd, She I had 2 hags in my cart, she rang them up to close to $200, i said you didnt ask for my phone number to see that this month I get my free bag, She stated oh we changed that you dint get a free bag anymore we changed the policy, I was furious !!! i explained to her that my dog was diabetic and I looked forward to the reward, She could care less and saod we changed the policy!!!This Manager is very rude and dosent care about our pets or business, I wont be going back as long as she is there!! My mothers dog is also diabetic and she purchases his insulin at Walmart for $25 a bottle! CVS charges almost $200 for the same brand. Please get it priced at Walmart, it could save you hundreds of dollars.

I recently ordered a dog harness from Pet Sense – while waiting for it to arrive I received a tracking number to trace it’s route – tracking shows many stops in what appears to be China. Based on China’s treatment of dogs (gathering strays,bludgining them and eating the meat) I would NEVER have ordered from Pet Sense. You would think that you could make these products in the US. I won’t be ordering from you again.

As a former employee it’s a shame how fast Petsense in Bainbridge has gone down in just a month. I left on good terms for the record….. I went in to get my 3 bags of True Source (over $100) because my dogs LOVE it. 2 employees were working, well sitting in the office. An older man and his wife, 2 random customers headed to the check out, offered to help take my stuff to the car after I checked out. I told him I had it and almost knocked over my whole cart going out the door. Not once did the employees ask if I needed help, another customer had to. If my 1 female would eat something other than true source I wouldnt even go after today. I felt so uncomfortable having a customer help me.

What a shame so many people had a bad experience! I let the girls at Shelbyville, Tennessee’s store that I was thrilled that they were there. I usually went to pet smart in another town. Talk about people who don’t care!!! My three pups all had different appointments on different days and would still be there about 5 hours. The groomers at our store talk about 2 hours. They always listen to me and do a really good job. I would recommend these girls anyday. Thank you for letting me we d some praise for a change.!!

I was a loyal customer at Petsense in Savannah, TN for last 2 years and now that I get help from canidae in the way of coupons, they are saying I am giving them fraudulent coupons and they can no longer except them. Now these coupons come to me from Canidae directly to help me out since I am on limited income. I would like someone from headquarters to contact me via my email since I can not get anyone to answer when I call. How would I rate my experience with Petsense ? A negative 20 on a scale of 1 to 5!! I took my fur baby into the Orangeburg, SC store. I specifically told them NOT to cut his tail, and guess what? they cut off half his tail off. When I spoke up about what was done I was called a liar. This is the third time in a row they’ve cut his tail against my instructions & wishes!!!! If you live in Orangeburg, SC don’t and I repeat DON’T take your fur baby to Petsense locted at 2386 Chestnut NE

Took my beautiful Cavashan dog to be groomed. Was shaved down to skin all over except for end of tail. Looks like a bald prairie dog. Looks abusive. Will never go back! Will never recommend to anyone, but quite the opposite!! Was quoted $49.00 + tax, was charged $60.00 plus. When I questioned they said had to keep the lights on. Big mistake and I will never let them touch my sweet dog again!!

Just had my two dogs get a bath ar your Bainbridge ga location. Total price was suppose to be $20. Price was confirmed by manager on phone and at drop off. I was charged $61.00. Employees were were not very nice when I questioned the price. When I asked for the manager they were not very nice and refused to give me his phone number. I then asked where the HQ was they said they did not know. Rude and nasty. Suspect price of the day changes daily depending who’s working. Would like my 41.00 refund. Will spend it at Petsmart. This may be why your store is almost always empty.

Your location in cedar city utah has a manager named Brandi who has our missing cat for adoption refused to letus adopt him but tried to trick us into leaving to get a money order so they could close before we came back and leave. She got my 5 yr old excited when she said she would make the adoption happen, my little girl finally got her kitty back, but the manager insisted we put the cat in the cage so we could hurry the paperwork up. Then locked the cage and told me she wouldnt allow the adoption because I had other cats( which my cat that was in your facility grew up with). That he had to be an only cat in the house and refsed to adopt him to me. Its my cat! The other employee told me that by law animal control can pick up cat on the street because its illegal to have cats outside so by law that cat was no longer mine.. She tricked us into putting the cat i the cage just to lock it and kick us out of the store, after telling my 5 yr old she could take her kitty home. She did thisevenwithmy daughter crying out of happiness telling her the story how he dissapearred and how happy she was to find him. Someone this shady and heartless shouldnt be incharge of animal adoption.!! This is a serious lawsuit and I want my family member back! Something stinks at this store location!!

Went to the Grand Opening of the Gulf Breeze, Fl location. As we were shopping, the manager walked down the isle and said hello and started telling us the history of the Company. He talked for about 5 minutes, continuously. I didn’t want to be rude so I just let him talk but I really just wanted to shop and do other things. He then proceeded to argue with me about what I should feed my dog and was really kind of nasty. I won’t go back. That was just ridiculous. Get a new manager before this one runs everyone off!

I have been a loyal customer ever since Petsence opened her in Pine Bluff, AR( about 10 years or so) But that all changed in one day. I made a grooming appointment for my dog as I always do. I always make the appointment for as early as possible, due to I do NOT like to leave my dogs down there in a cage!!!!!!
The appointment was at 10:00am. My husband dropped off the dog at 10:00am. I called at 2:00pm, and was told but the assistant in grooming that she was pretty sure my dog had been bathed, but they had had a lot of walk-ins, and they were calling folks as their dogs got ready.
I called back at 4:30pm, and spoke with Lee (who told me he was the store manager?????). After explaining my story; he went to check on my dog. He came back to tell me that my dog was next to be clipped, that he had been bathed. IT HAD BEEN six and half hours!!!!!!! I told him not to touch my dog. I was on the way to pick him up.
When, I arrived the groomer was in tears talking to someone on the phone, saying I am doing the best I can. When she hung up, I added which is not good enough. She stated” I have not been on break all day, I have had to stop to put on nail tips, etc. (walk-ins) and answer the telephone. I stated, well you need to learn to say “NO”, the walk-ins have not been loyal customers with appointments!!!!!!!!!!! Give me my dog, who was still wet, so they lied when I called at 2:00pm and they told me he had been bathed. I left with my dog and will not be back. I told them I used to recommend the place, but not now. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PETSENCE TO SOMEBODY WHO I HATED.
I could not get anybody to answer the telephone at Corp Office -480-663-9300, so I called the local one to speak with MS Ann, the manager, who will not be in until 11:30am. I called around 10:00am. I told my story to whoever opened the store on today’s date. She told me Ms. Ann would call me. Meantime, she called back and stated that the book showed Larry’s appointment was at 2:00pm. NO, I was told 10:00am. I would not have made the appointment for 2:00pm. As I stated earlier I ALWAYS make my appointments for as early as possible.
NOT HAPPY IN PINE BLUFF< AND WILL NOT BE BACK OR RECOMMEND PETSENCE TO ANYONE

I went to your store in Elizabethton, TN. I had my puppy pitbull/Australian mix Panda… I bought flea shampoo, soft treats and two All Natural Chew chicken claws and 1 All Natural Chew Turkey claw .. The lady who took care of us knew the chicken claws were for my puppy . She laughed at our puppy enjoying it… Upon leaving the store our Panda started choking she could not get the piece out her throat I tried to get it out and struggled as it was stuck her lips turned blue she struggle for air an stopped breathing I was able to remove the piece and start CPR. I was able to resuscitate Panda after making sure she was breathing and responding I called the store… I was transferred to I assume a manager … I told her what happened … her response ” I don’t know what to tell you . It’s not our product” I responded with “Its a choking hazard my dog almost died.” Her response ” Not our product, not really our problem” . I said “your employee knew it was for a puppy and still sold it … You shouldn’t sell it for small breeds and puppies if it’s a choking hazard..” Her response ” Like I said it’s not our product , not our problem..” And hung up on me…. I will never purchase from your company again.. Due to your company’s employees not caring yalls product ( you sell it so your company endorses it) almost killed my puppy…

I have been shopping in your store since you opened in my small town of Gun Barrel City Texas. I receive coupons in the mail and I always use them until this week the coupon expired September 17th of 2017 I did not receive the coupon until September 19th 2017. I need to someone to please email me so that I can give you all my number to call me. I recently went into one of your stores. It is in Opelousas, Louisiana. There was a lady named Christina that worked there for a couple of weeks. I called the store to see if they carried Merrick puppy sweet potatoe formula. She stated to me that they don but they have another Merrick puppy formula that is a little less expensive. She stated that it has the same ingredients as the merrick puppy sweet potato. It is the merrick while farms. She also stated that I would not have to transition him because they are both merrick puppy. I asked her if she was sure she dates yes. I have it to my 11 week old golden doodle that evening due to this lady saying I did not need to transition him. He got sick that night and began to vomit and have diarrhea. I then assumed it was from the food. He had to be admitted for about 4 days because he was gravely ill which cost me about 650.00. They could not figure out what was wrong with him. He developed bowel obstruction due to an abrupt food change all because this lady gave me the wrong information. He is still very ill and will have to have surgery which will cost about 1000.00 or so. I also called merrick to let them know what happened. They stated that the two foods are different and should be transitioned to and that the ingredients are not all the same. My point is that Petsense has hired someone that is not knowledgeable of their products. I am thinking about contacting an attorney in regards to this matter.

I had to leave my job due to an illness. I was the assistant manager at store 215. They are now refusing to pay me my PTO that I earned while working there. I worked 90 plus hours on occasion and doubles with no break I worked hard for the company. They base their company on integrity but yet they don’t follow their wow service. She is at the store, showing a friendly face to all and familiarizes herself with everyone in order to do her job and help the animals in our community. We have a small rescue group and spend a lot of time in your store just trying to do the best to help the animals in our community. Miss Anna Harris has went out of her way time and time again to help our group and help our community.
