Currently, the company has approximately 150 locations in the southeastern part of the US. The focus is on Philly style cheese steak sandwiches and other types of sandwiches and food items including cold subs, hot subs, regular combos, Kaiser roll combos, salads, kids meals, and catering. The company also offers custom box lunches, party platters, and hot catering; as well as box lunches.

Lenny’s Sub Shop currently has headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. Each location bakes their bread, fresh each day and offers white, wheat, and multigrain sandwich breads.

Electrolux was founded in 1919 in Sweden when two companies, Lux AB and Svenska Elektron AB, merged to form one company. Svenska Elektron AB was a younger company which manufactured vacuum cleaners and parts. It is this division which has become the mainstay of Electrolux.

The company makes a wide range of home appliances and cleaning products including washing machines, clothes dryers, vacuums, microwave ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and air conditioning units. In addition to the Electrolux name, the company markets products under the names Frigidaire, Eureka, Philco, Gibson, Tappan, and White-Westinghouse in the USA.

History

In September 2003, the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission resolved a complaint that Muslim workers at the St. Cloud, Minnesota, factory were not allowed a sufficient number of breaks to observe their daily prayers. Again in 2010 and 2011, complaints against the company were filed by Muslim workers at the plant in St. Cloud that workers were not able to observe Ramadan. This complaint was resolved by the USEEOC. The complaint of 2011 stems from the former 30-minute breaks, which were agreed to in 2010, was later reduced to twenty minutes by Electrolux. This complaint was also resolved.

In January 2023, lower-than-expected earnings caused Electrolux stock to plummet.

Electrolux has numerous factories in the United States, including Charlotte, North Carolina, Memphis, Tennessee, and Anderson, South Carolina. Headquarters in the US are located in Augusta, Georgia.

Oakley was founded in 1975 by James Jannard. Jannard invested $300 into his business, creating a unique motorcycle handgrip in his garage. The grip, called the Oakley, was a unique creation by Jannard and quickly became popular.

Today, Oakley is perhaps best known for sunglasses and sporting apparel. The company holds more than 600 patents for its sunglasses, goggles, and performance gear. The Luxottica Group acquired the company in 2007 for $2.1 billion. Oakley now operates as a subsidiary.

Oakley sponsored the US Olympic team in 2012 and in October of 2010, the company donated special eyeglasses for 35 Chilean miners who had been trapped underground for several weeks.

The corporate office for Oakley is located in Foothill Ranch, California.

Casino Arizona opened in 1998 in Scottsdale, Arizona, on the Salt-River Pima Maricopa Indian Reservation. The original structure was temporary as the tribe wasn’t sure if their “casino” would do well. The company offered only 47 poker tables in the beginning and employed approximately 240 persons.

Today, the casino has almost 1,000 slot machines, 50 gaming tables, and a bingo parlor that seats 1,000 patrons. In addition to gaming, the casino has 5 restaurants, as well as an extensive collection of Native American art. The company also owns the Talking Stick Resort, which sits on the site of the original temporary casino site.

Casino Arizona sits on 20 acres of land and has more than 10,000 square feet dedicated solely to gaming. In addition to the bingo gaming room, there is also a Showroom, which has seating for 300 persons.

Young Living was founded in Utah in 1993 by Donald and Mary Young. The company sells essential oils and other items via their multi-level marketing service.

The company has thousands of distributors in the US and many other countries which sell directly to their customers and earn a commission. Young Living offers a multitude of essential oils and massage oils, as well as other wellness products including diffusers, weight management products, facial creams, and bath and body products.

Young Living has had its share of difficulties with the FDA. In 2014, the company was warned against marketing their products as being preventative or a cure for Ebola. Also in late 2014, the company was warned by the FDA not to market their essential oils as being any type of cure or preventative measure since there are no studies to back up their claims.
