Le Tote is an online women’s clothing rental subscription service. Le Tote was founded in 2012 by Brett Northart.

In August 2019, Le Tote purchased Lord & Taylor for $100 million. Le Tote, founded in 2012, began by placing stores inside the struggling Lord & Taylor, eventually buying the company for a small amount.

Le Tote has competition from other clothing rental companies, such as Rent the Runway, however, Rent the Runway mainly focuses on the high end, event clothing, and Le Tote is more everyday or business clothing oriented.

History

Le Tote is especially popular for those interested in maternity wear, who believe that renting, rather than buying, maternity clothes is a smart financial move.

In late June 2020, Le Tote filed a lawsuit against Urban Outfitters, claiming that Urban Outfitters had violated a non-disclosure agreement created in 2018.

History

360 Painting currently has franchises in both the US and Canda. The company opened 48 new franchise owners in 2019.

In 2020, the company made Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list and was rated the number one paint franchise service and ranking #255 overall.

Currently, the company has 31 locations in 10 states with more planned to open in 2021.

In 2019, the company ranked as the #8 franchise on the Inc. Top 10 Franchise list, as well as making #736 on the Inc. 5000 list. The company had $2.2 million in revenue in 2018 and a three-year growth rate of 592.3%.

Pawz Corporate Office

Pawz

While bussing tables, Christian Campisi tried to think of ways to more quickly raise enough money to transfer from his local college to Ohio State. Campisi founded Pawz in 2015.

Pawz sells T-shirts for humans and dogs, as well as cat toys, cat beds, dog toys, beds, and more. Ten percent of all proceeds are donated to no-kill animal shelters, providing additional housing, covering adoption fees, and other services.

The waterproof, 100% rubber dog boots are an especially popular item. There are no straps or snaps required and the boots can be washed and reused.

History

In 2017, Pawz donated $110,000 to a Jacksonville, Florida, Humane Society. This was the company’s fourth donation check, but the largest at the time.

The company has received criticism for giving out false details about some photos used on their website.

Full-color photographs began to be published in the mid-1930s and in conservative Muslim countries, pictures that might have scantily clad women or topless females in primitive tribal societies are often blacked out. Some complain that this destroys the artistic value of the photographs.

Nat Geo published an article in July 2020 which stated that in order to avoid another pandemic, such as COVID-19, humans must stop harming the planet.
