I have a comment regarding the 2019 automatic transmission in my truck. Had to be towed in to a rush dealership in Tucson az 12/4/19 due to my truck shouting down by trans going into Neutral going down the road on the interstate. Would not go I to any gear only neutral. Part # 517 in the transmission was replaced. The dealership explained this was the 12th in the past few months they had replaced.. Why is this not on recall??if a truck is on a multiple lane hwy and it stops running it could be a deadly situation. If it would run and change gears u can’t get over to side of road. Peterbilt needs to address this issue before someone gets hurt and killed due to this part thT your company is aware is bad. You should be having to pay these wrecker bills. It is faulty parts. I would like a rebuttals. Thanks

I bought a slightly used Kenworth (2015) After searching long and hard for the truck with my specs. I found one that had all but one option, it didn’t have a Cummins engin it had the paccar motor. The dealer assured me that the paccar motor was one of the best motors on the market. At that point unable to see the truck I wanted to know if it has had any issues, warrant work, recalls or repairs. With only 202000 miles on the unit I was told that it had no issues. So I phurchased the truck sight unseen on the information I got from the dealer. I’ve owned the truck now sence Feb,2018 it’s been in the shop now for the same issue over5 times, warranty department has been unable to diagnosis the problem and just keep throwing parts at it, I’ve been down now at my current location going on week four. Bills are piling up loss of revenue is putting me in jeopardy of going bankrupt as I sit here hemorrhaging mony on motels and food. I don’t understand why they keep throwing parts at a problem they have yet to diagnose. Currently there waiting for a new head to be shipped in and try that. They have already replaced all injectors, new fuel pump, fuel rail, wiring harnesses to the injectors. And numerous other parts and some at my expense.
I would think that a problem like this one they would want that motor back to study it to see if it an isolated problem or a potentially bigger problem awaiting. Anyway I’ve heard good things about this motor I just hope I have the time to be able to experience the benefits of it before going broke. Can anyone help. 801-357-XXXX Doug

So I am the owner of Big Sky Logistics and I have cancelled the order of 10 trucks that I had originally ordered from KW. The communication that I have received from your location is, to say the least unimpressive and appalling. Truck was pulled in at 10 pm on Friday and is still not completed. Saturday when I walked in people were just sitting around laughing and joking. Sunday I walked in to see what was going on with the truck and mechanics are watching the football game in the tool boxes. Nice to see I am being charged for mechanics to watch football. I will be taking my business somewhere else that is for sure.
