The company operates a chain of home improvement, farm supplies, and hunting supplies. The distribution center and headquarters are located in Moberly, Missouri. The recent acquisition of a warehouse/distribution center in Abilene, Kansas, is meant to supply locations that are under construction or are about to open.

Orscheln Farm and Home Supply currently has 175 locations in 9 states. The company operates as a subsidiary of the Orscheln Group.

In August 2020, the company opened a new location in Lexington, Kentucky.

In October 2022, Tractor Supply Company acquired Orscheln Farm and Home for $238 million. It is unknown if Tractor Supply will rebrand Orscheln Farm and Home.

I know people talk about their jobs with their families and with their friends, but I think that when the loss prevention manager named brett and his favorite cashier athena sit around getting trashed and smoking weed all hours of the night, plotting on stealing from the store, and how they have to stick together and not let anyone find out brett is sleeping with another cashier (taylor) behind her fiances back and unbeknownst to bretts pregnant girlfriend. Not to mention the excitement he felt when explaining to me that he stole 3 9×9 canopies by having the cashier only scan one upc… the guy just seems rather crooked to me and i would rather not promote such devious and unbecoming behavior by shopping at orschelns on the Southside of Columbia. The guy even mentioned that he was planning to have an affair with his immediate supervisor to get a promotion. Sickening.

I shop usually exclusively at Richmond, MO store. HOWEVER Since Jason is not there any longer I have to say I’m very irritated that you introduce a new product, ProForce Senior, yet there’s never enough. Now I go to both Richmond and Excelsior springs, yet still can’t get proforce senior. I have a 36 year old mare, a mid 20’s mare and a 29 yr old mini not to mention growing babies that I use this feed on and it pisses me off to no end when I go get some yet it’s a crap shoot if it will be there or not. I also buy the safechoice senior. It’s not like I buy cheap crap. So why is it you introduce a new product that actually works yet don’t keep enough in stock. I also have trouble with them keeping alfalfa pellets in stock and sometimes nutrena senior as well. I spend stupid amounts of money with the store and y’all are fixing to lose a customer!! If you’re not going to keep a new product in stock then DON’T INTRODUCE IT!!!! Yes I’m angry. It shouldn’t be this difficult to keep my special needs horses on a feed that works. I guess I need to research either other stores, not Orschelns or other feed which as anyone that has equine experience knows it’s not good to switch horses feed. Ever since Jason has gone the store is Crap! He kept it stocked, he made sure he knew what feed I needed and made sure I had what I needed as well as doing the same for other customers. In my opinion, that I’m sure doesn’t matter to you, Dustin sucks as a manager. You lost the best person in thst whole store when you lost Jason.
I’m sure all of this will be deleted and forgotten about, probably not even fully read. Good luck with store sales, I have a sneaky suspicion sales are down for Richmond store. I’ll not even get into the argument about your price raises, several on the same product, around .50 cents in a months time or less. Maybe there should be some examination of several things regarding customer service as well as effective management.

    Sincerely disappointed

we feed steamed crimped oats. Last 2 or 3 times were told oats would be in store certain days and when we go to store to purchase are told that it will be another week until they will be available. Don’t know if store manager is at fault or another reason. Last year with previous manager (a man) these things were not happening so it seems that the manager now is the cause of this problem. The store is located Linton Indiana and I think it needs someone else in charge

You are advertising in this weeks ad a gray wooden planter number 107392798. We live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and I’ve checked all your stores within 75 miles and not one store has this item. Why, advertise a item if there is none available? Not one store offered to help me with this problem.

I will never shop in one of your stores!!!!!

You people have the worst battery display on your website I have ever seen. You have many batteries to choose from but most have no reference to what they fit. Why have a website if you can’t shop it from home? I would suggest if you want to do more business is to get you website up to date with information people need and make it more user friendly because it suxs the way it is and I will go else where! And batteries isn’t the only thing wrong with it! Plus it doesn’t work very well most of the time!
Doubt anyone will ever read this, but you can’t send email through their website because it don’t WORK!

Purchased a battery and other items from store. Went back by that evening to see how late the were open and got arrested because I had two tires in bed of my truck off my traiker at home. Posted bond. Hired attorney and asked orschelans home office to investigate and cooperate with local athouritys. They would not and I had to got to court until judge dismissed. No apology.

So does the one in Mt. Vernon, Mo. My daughter was just fired with no explanation after being belitted time and again in front of customers and other employees. She asked several times what she could do to please her manager and was told nothing, it was her personality. Besides that her manager made her move large heavy objects with no help and my daughter came home bruised from fence panels falling on her.
Will never get my business now!

What say u? Set price and show price on material.
Make it easy on customers to shop and think about the most economical way to build said dog pen. What say u? Let me hear from u about the logic of my comment

Went to Moberly store today. Need dog pen.
Reid to price fencing and posts and such. Had a young man to unlock gate- went in lay down yard and no prices were posted. He stated the prices where in a book in the store(Not very handy). Do u do this so u can change prices whenever or when suppliers prices go up, even u may have purchased at a lower than present price. Seems to me that this is not a good way to do business
