I have also been having a few issues with Open Table as of late. I was unable to make a reservation for four days on Open Table, I decided to keep the reservation and contact Open Table for this visit. Besides, not having a live person to speak to, the live chat, would not address the issue. Consequently, I wrote to this company and was told that they were gonna do me “alone Time favor” of reinstating my account which had been suspended for allegedly no showing for my reservations on numerous occasions. Please know that NEVER failed to show to any restaurant and actually even call when I’m running a few minutes late. To make matters worse I try to consolidate both of my emails to one account and now I don’t even know where my points are. I’ve reached out to them twice via email and no one has responded. The customer service is awful and this has been the most frustrating. As a user of this platform for many years, I would like a response that would address my issues and ensure that everything has been resolved. Clearly that’s not asking too much, is it?

I received numerous notices from Open Table confirming this reservation for Father’s Day, including three hours before this cancellation notice. I called the restaurant and they informed me that my reservation had not been cancelled by them and that they looked forward to seeing us. We went to the restaurant, had a lovely celebration, and I received another email from Open Table saying I would not get points for this reservation because it had been cancelled.
I’ve never had an issue like this with your service before but please credit me the points for this reservation.

Me and my husbands wedding anniversary ruined do to open tables inability to correct their wrong. Long story short opentable had a gift card error and still over 48 hours later I am unable to use or retain my gift card that was purchased so me and my husband could go to dinner on our anniversary. They are still looking into why mysteriously our gift card cannot be activated or used!?!? Word of mouth!!!!!!! Customer service agents including management very rude and unprofessional also lack of empathy for their customers.

Having a boxing day meal at the waterbridge i found some of the staff very,very rude.
a male staff person just slammed the drink order on the table with little conversation.my wife asked if the dirty glasses could be returned, these glasses never returned so i had ask not once but twice.when this male staff person came , his comment was are they clean enough now. i let this go but several in our party commented how rude the staff were.Whilst waiting for the carvery this same male person when to walk the one of the kitchen doors, there was box behind it so he kicked into the kitchen area.. apart from health and safety issues and cleanliness i was concerned the kitchen hygiene. I would think staff training required on customer service, a letter sent to the MANAGER ?
