Since that time, the company has expanded tremendously, offering handbags, sunglasses, legwear, outerwear, jewelry, belts, watches, cold weather accessories, hats, scarves and wraps, and eyewear. After the launch of handbags in 1995, Nine West expanded to dresses, suits and children’s shoes.
The company went international in 1994, opening its first overseas location in Hong Kong. In 1995, Nine West acquired the United States Shoe Corporation, which included the Easy Spirit brand of shoes.
Nine West once had 800 global locations in 57 countries, as well as an active e-commerce site.
In April 2018, it was announced that Nine West’s U.S. business had filed for bankruptcy and closed all its stores. It was announced that Nine West’s business would be closed for good. It was also announced that the Nine West brand would be acquired by Authentic Brands Group.
Authentic Brands reopened many store locations and announced in 2019 that Tyra Banks would be their new ambassador and spokesperson.
In late 2019, the company emerged from bankruptcy and announced that it would rebrand itself as Premier Brands.

I ordered two pair of shoes right by Thanksgiving on the website was saying shipping is free if you spend that much amount of money now they’re asking me for shipping I tried to call Nine W. nobody’s answering the phone the UPS driver was extremely rude. I would never shop with nine W. poor Customer Service still missing my package there is no one to contact

Yes I purchased a pair of nine West shoes I’ve had them for maybe a year and a half 2 years Max beautiful shoes I’ve wore them maybe six times no more than 2 hours at a time well the inside of them has worn to the point that it has peeled when I contacted customer service there’s nothing they can do I paid $100 for those shoes the quality did not hold up to the price I may be wore them 10 hours in the length of time that I’ve had them they’ve never been stored on properly but non-west can’t do anything to make me happy that’s very wrong of the company 6 months was your limit supposedly the company should hold the value of their name and their product regardless of the length of time I didn’t realize if I paid $100 for a pair of shoes that if something went wrong I couldn’t get them fixed or repaired or replaced that’s wrong. So I’m very disappointed right now and The nine West products they have got a good bit of my money through the years I think I might change
I bought a Nine West purse at Macys. The handle fell 0ff after one week. I t was a small crossbody with handle, in pink. The handle was sewn on with the thinnest thread and not well maybe 3 stitches. I’m still trying to get a refund from Macys. I’ve had Nine West bags before and the quality was always good. Thought you would like to know.
I know this is not the end of the world and I almost feel self-conscience about writing a complaint because this is not a life or death situation but it is a bad experience. This is my first time ordering with you all online and I am disappointed. I placed an order on the 27th – all items posted available with order confirmation – today I get a cancellation/refund – “because the warehouse made a mistake” – so I tried to 1st stop the cancellation and order up to the next size – only to be told that I would have to create a new order, therefore, losing the deep discount that leads me to purchase in the 1st place. – so I tried canceling the whole order – only to find out that could not be done because they already created a tracking number. No other option except for if I wanted those exact shoes was to pay a higher price – and lose the original discount. I would also say ordering your product is like a cat and mouse game. Not sure if I will use nine west.com again. It has not been a positive experience. They tried to offer me to join some subcription/clud – which I already did prior to this call – so the system/processes are not synched.
I have purchased on 6 separate occasions a pair of shoes from the Nine West website. Each time my order is refunded because they are out of stock. I have called regarding this and each time I’m told they’re out of stock and that the warehouse made a mistake. When I ask for a supervisor I’m told there isn’t one or that there’s nothing they can do to help.
There has to be a better way to manage stock and customer service.
I have tried unsuccessfully to get a supervisor on the phone since placing my order on Black Friday. Seems like I was charged immediately upon placing my order, never got an email because my name was not spelled correctly, there’s no shipping address after I supplied it and today Emily decided to refund me for the shoes I need. Can you please assist me in getting my three pairs of shoes with my order? I need to know that someone will cure this grave mistake on your employee’s part. Thank you.
I recently purchased a pair of eyeglasses from a local store in your brand. At the time of try on, the glasses seemed flawless, but have since caused me nothing but trouble. Is there a reimbursement or something you can provide so I can atleast switch into a different style in the Nine West brand? They frame is too heavy. I either have marks on my ears or my nose no matter if I loosen or tighten them. It is so bad that I dont wear my glasses as I should anymore. The problem I am having is they were purchased using insurance which doesn’t want to pay for another frame, unless the lenses fit into another frame….and unfortunately the lenses I got only come in this frame. So I am basically stuck with this pair. Insurance companies should offer some sort of reimbursement if glasses need to be returned/exchanged. Can Nine West help me out? I have always worn this brand, so I am a little dis heartened that I am having issues and just want to see. Glasses aren’t cheap, so I am at a loss.
