Matco Tools was founded in 1946. The company manufactures tools for automotive and diesel professionals. Like Snap On and Cornwell, Matco (which is an acronym for Mac Allied Tool Company) offers a lifetime warranty on hand tools. Matco has been criticized for contracting with machinists in China to manufacture some of their tools.
The company originally made tool boxes, but sold off the tool box division in 1979. The company uses franchisers to sell their tools from trucks. Each franchiser has his own territory, very much like Snap on and Mac tools. Most franchisers offer no interest financing to their customers.
Matco Tools has mobile franchisers in Canada, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. The company operates as a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation.

Hi David Ross the same happened to me here in Virginia. Jason Sine matco tool distributer went into my locked Box when I wasn’t there when I have not been late on a payment to him. He took the tools and demands full payment. Did you get anywhere with this? What do I need to do? Breaking and entering was illegal I thought. If I did something like that there is no doubt if I would be sitting in jail for it.

Hi there. This message is for Timothy Gilmore.
I have been dealing with an issue with one of your employees in Newmarket Ontario. I have been a customer of Matco Tools for over 10 years now and have never been treated so poorly from your staff. The service rep. took my quarter inch Matco impact driver in for warranty replacement back in November 2016. From which point he continually avoided me, refused to return my calls and texts in regards to status of my tool and whereabouts. I then pointed in the direction of Craig Telefer (District Manager) to handle this matter promptly. I emailed him initially in March after Brent (sales rep) went missing. Craig has not been responsive and has failed to rectify the issue. It still remains unknown to the whereabouts of the product I purchased from matco for $400. I am now looking at you to resolve this issue and reply promptly.
Should I not hear from you or the COO or the CFO, I will take this one step forward and report you to the BBB (Better Business Bureau).
This lack of communication and customer service and willingness to stand behind the products that technicians rely on for their livelihood is unsatisfactory and the last Matco tool I will ever purchase.

This message is directed to Timothy Gilmore I PURCHASED A MATCO SCANNER (THE MAXIS 2.0) BACK IN 2014 AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD COMMUNICATE WITH ALL MODULES THAT WAS A LIE AND IT WOULD HOOK UP TO A PRINTER ALSO NOT TRUE SO I RETURNED THE SCANNER WITHIN A WEEK AND PURCHASED ONE THAT WOULD DO WHAT I NEEDED IT TO. NOW IT IS 2017 AND I JUST RECEIVED THE FIRST BILL FROM MATCO SAYING I OWE THEM MONEY FOR THE SCANNER I TURNED IN THREE YEARS AGO SO I CALLED TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON AND I FOUND THAT SOMEONE OTHER THAN ME HAS BEEN PAYING THE BILL THAT WHOLE TIME I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THE CONTRACT WAS CANCELLED SEEMS HOW I NO LONGER HAVE THE SCANNER AND GAVE IT BACK TO YOU GUYS. SO I CALLED MATCO UP AND THEY TOLD ME I OWE THEM MONEY AND THAT THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO I HAD TO PAY IT SO I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND CHANCE MICMILON SAID NO HE ALSO THREATEN ME AND SAID MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER OVER THE PHONE PRIOR TO ASKING ME ANY SECURITY QUESTIONS HE IS A VERY RUDE EMPLOYEE OF YOURS AND I RECOMMEND TERMINATION IT SEEMS HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT THE FEDERAL FAIR DEBT COLLECTIONS PRACTICE ACT IS AND THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE I WOULD LIKE TO TALK WITH A SENIOR MANAGER OR SOMEONE HIGHER UP ABOUT MY SITUATION BEFORE I CONTACT MY ATTORNEY BUT ITS YOUR CHOICE SEE YOU SOON

The Employee you are referencing is named James MacMillan. I spoke to him briefly today and he is indeed rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak to a supervisor too and he said no and offered no help. I got so frustrated, I simply hung up. But so is Susan and Cathy. It seems the culture at Matco Tools stinks. So far all of the employeres I’ve encountered have no customer service skills at all. It is obvious they don’t care if Matco Tools stays in business at all or not. I was simply trying to pay my son’s bill while he was out of work and was treated very poorly by just about everyone I spoke with. I agree James MacMillan should be fired along with a few others.

I have been a regular at Panera Bread since 2000. However for the first time , I got deliberately BEVERAGE POISONING by a waitress by the name of Ashlee in Oklahoma City – PANERA BREAD CAFE #2831. Ashlee deliberately put some liquid in my favorite drink : Large Iced Green Tea. I felt so dizzy , I had to puke everything in the bathroom. People like Ashlee must be locked up in jail. Beware of Ashlee of Panera Bread OKC !
We are currently investigating the matter on why Ashlee did such a criminal act . There is a strong possibility that THE FILIPINO CRIMINAL WHO FAKED HIS DEATH CERTIFICATE BY THE NAME OF JOSE LUIS ” Jo ” VILLANUEVA IS BEHIND THIS CRIMINAL ACT ! WE WILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS CRIMINAL MATTER THAT DESTROYS THE IMAGE OF THE AMERICAN RESTAURANT BUSINESS !
Signed.
