I have spoke with several individual at Loandepot from JoAnne Kruse, Opal Brown, Miranda Holmes. They all said they was going to call me back but NOTHING!!!!! They say they are here for the customers and they are NOT!!!! ALL they care about is money. I understand that loan company is about making money just say that. You are worse than a loan shark!!! This is NOT OVER!!

I had a forbearance in 2020-2021. I talked cs to see what I wanted to do a modification or other things they offered. The modification sounded like a good idea. I sent all my documents to the NJ location at that time. I had to resend my documents 7 times because they said they never received them. They then came back with an offer of 10k a month for repayment. When calling them to ask what was going on they had no idea and said ti appeal the decision and I was being sent ti the Texas location. They assured me all my documents were sent to the Texas location. Which they weren’t and I had ti start all over . I’m the mix of all this I was carjacked and kidnapped in NM while doing a nursing travel assignment. I had a subdural bleed, and multiple other injuries. That time was a blur for me. In May I reached out about my application again and talk ti someone higher up. The Superviser in customer advocacy. They were not letting me make payments because they told me they didn’t know how much I would be making. So now we’re all the way to May with no payments. After explaining my situation to him he said NJ is a mess and that’s why they are getting shut down and he’s sorry for all my problems especially me being a veteran and a ER nurse. He told me to start making payments in June which I did. At this time I am still waiting on the modification to go through which they had been working on since March. In Oct my house was shot up by some high school kids trying ti shoot at my neighbors house. I was out in a hotel. I was sent a modification for 5k a month while in the hotel and my house was a active crime scene. I reached out to the cs dept to find out why it was 5k and asking if my forbearance was put at the end of the loan. The lady was very rude and said no u are paying it all back. I asked ti speak to a Superviser which they said would call back in 48-72 hrs. That never happened. I called again and explained my situation and this person was helpful and explained the forbearance did go to end of loan that the 5k was because of property taxes and higher financing fees. I said ok I will sign them Thankyou for explaining. She then stated well the paper work needed ti be signed 2 days ago. I told her no one called me back and also my paperwork is at the house and it’s a active crime scene. She said I had ti start over again. This is the 5th time now. Not to mention they had my paperwork from March to Oct before I had a answer. I then did the paperwork all over again and they stopped taking my payments again in Oct. in the mean time it was showing on my credit report that my mortgage was closed. The supervisor from May told me it will show up again with the Tx location and I might have late payments but if I do to call and let them know so they can fix it. So 2 wks ago while still waiting on a answer they finally report my open loan on my credit with 140 days past due. I immediately called and was told it happened ti a lot of people and it would be fixed. 2 days later Experian contacted me and said they told them it was correct. I then called again and was advised that it was saying late because I haven’t paid since Oct. I explained that they told me I couldn’t pay. The cs rep told me that is untrue that I should still be paying. So 2 days later I call to make the back payment for Oct-Jan and was told I cannot make the payment and did I receive the letter. I said what letter. They said I was denied any help because my debt ti ratio is too high and ghat most the VA funding is over. I then contacted the corporate office to explain everything. The man told me he has never heard of anything like this and is escalating me to the highest person he can. I was on hold for 15 min and the phone rang and went to a vm that stated you have reached the loss mitigation dept we are now closed. He also promised me if we get cut off he would call me back. That never happened. I have since filed a appeal last weak and I called ti check today and guess what all though I have all the documentation they say they haven’t received it yet it can take 5-7 days to post. Which my appeal is due by 2-19. I will be going to the VA center and contacting a attorney if someone doesn’t reach out ti me asap. I have been through enough trauma in the last year. None of this is my fault. Everyone I have talked ti said this is insane including my neighbor who works for loan depot.

A advocate reached out to me and started helping me through the process. I finally felt something was being done. Now I have been ghosted again. I will be contacting attorneys today and going live on social media I have a great platform. I have tried to be nice through this whole situation but enough is enough. no one deserves to be treated this way. This is part 2 read the original.

We refinanced with Loandepot in March 2020. We have never been late with our mortgage payment. In fact, we pay early or on time and often pay above the monthly payment.
In March 2022, I was notified that our payment site was moving from New Jersey to Texas. This required that I register on a new website. There was a delay posting my April but I was assured that a grace period covered their administrative process.
Once our payment was made through the Texas office, I receive two statements each month, and every statement has a message about not accepting partial payments but I have never made a partial payment. The second page of the statement actually states the following:
“This communication is from a debt collector and is an attempt to collect a debt, any information obtained will be used for that purpose.”
Never does it say thank you for your business or for trusting Loandepot with your loan.
I have inquired about the decision to move my loan from the New Jersey payment center to Texas. I get vague replies that many loans have been moved. I have inquired about the language on the statements but never get a satisfactory answer from the customer service representatives.
IS THIS THE WAY LOANDEPOT TREATS ITS CUSTOMERS??
WHY WAS MY LOAN MOVED FROM NEW JERSEY TO TEXAS?
WHY DO I RECEIVE TWO STATEMENTS EACH MONTH WITH THIS TYPE OF LANGUAGE??
WHY CAN’T I GET A SATISFACTORY ANSWER FROM THIS COMPANY?

to taking care of the customer. I needed a simple refi and are now at day 60.
Wells fargo just quoted me closing cost of 5,000 less than Loan depot same terms and interest rate.

An email I sent to LoanDepot customer service…
I had a question regarding something I was trying to do on my LD dashboard. Wanted to make a change to a payment amount, but was not allowed to. So I called LD at 6:28PM PT on Monday Dec. 28. I sufferred through all of your announcements for about 3 minutes before I was directed to press ZERO for an agent.
After a 25 minute wait, the music on hold went away and there was a ring that answered a few seconds later, only to be put through to what sounded to me like voicemail.
There were two failures of your customer service. The first one on the dashboard for which I never got any help on, and the experience I had waiting for 25 minutes only to be directed to a voice mail that had no greeting or identification.
I just want to remind you that I pay you, though my interest payments, to look after my loan and handle any customer service issues without me having to spend 25 minutes on hold, only to be sent to voicemail, or whatever that was. I don’t call just to ask a stupid question. Get it? My time is valuable.
Most companies that have excellent customer service have a feature that allows a customer to leave a callback number and the first available agent will return the call. You don’t have that. I have to assume, based on the experience I’ve described here, your commitment to excellent customer service is non-existent.

My only goal today is to refinance my loan in hopes that someone other than loan depot buys it. You are the worst company I have dealt with in a long time. I will admit, everyone that I have communicated is very polite and understanding but NOTHING gets accomplished. It is clear my money is in your hands, each person ( now 7) all say they can see our money is there and cannot understand why it has not been “applied”. I have asked for a supervisor to contact me three times , apparently they cannot transfer the call to supervisor” and have yet to hear from anyone. I have made my payment yet I get threating letters and calls stating I am late. You all say you are about the customer yet nothing you have done proves this.

Exceptionally long wait on the phone. Yesterday after 30 mins rep “omar” me it was corrected. Today ,another request for proof to research. Back to square one. Today another 30 mins with”Squana” who when I requested CEO name, address, put me on permanent hold. Never do business again with this poorly run company. Totally incompent!

I was diagnosed with an incurable disease in 2017 and then in 2018 my husband was diagnosed with cancer. Our medical bills are over $50,000. I contacted Loss Mitigation in 2017 to seek assistance, and they kept asking for more and more documents. They don’t have a street address so everything has to be faxed; adding substantial financial hardship. They were short one document before sending to the Underwriting Dept. They said it was due on a certain date, and I got it in on time, and then they closed my file because they said it got there to late.
Now, I submitted paperwork (over 250 pages) to re-apply. I was informed on April 17, 2019 that everything was received except one document, which I submitted. They informed that “Congratulations, we have received your entire package and will be submitted to Underwriting and you will have a decision within 35 days. Now, it is June 3, 2019 and they are actually asking for EVERYING I have already submitted. I have used over a ream of paper. My cut-off date is June 8t. I think they are not there to help, but to prolong the process so they can eventually foreclose on our house. There is no way to talk to anybody higher than a customer service supervisor, who can only read what’s been put into the computer system. I’ve tried numerous times to talk to someone higher up, but it is not possible.

I need to make sure I can get some help which is not being done by your customer service group. Today is Friday, 11/17/17 and I had been trying to make a payment since Wednesday 11/15/17 but could not get through your new web site. I was being asked to re-enter my account number and full social security which is a common phishing tactic used by too many con artist. I called customer service and got a Ryan and after your phone system asking me to verify phone and last four digits of social security, Ryan proceeded to do the same. I mentioned to Ryan if that I am not comfortable putting my social security info into a site I am already set up and he kept telling me that I had to enter it before, so what’s the problem? He also said that I would need my account info in order to make a phone payment. (I was driving in Dallas). Finally, last night I went to put my info on this stupid site so I can get my payment made and the site was down for processing. I stayed up late in order to get a payment made and today I get a phone call saying to call Loan Depot. I called and got friggin Ryan! I asked Ryan 10 times to transfer me to a supervisor and he kept saying that he needed my social security which I had already entered just to get service!!! I sent an email through the LD site and got a response that there is not enough info so it was basically ignored!! Let me guess….they want my social security number??? WTF is it with this company wanting their customers to just blurt out their social security numbers over web sites and phone lines???? My name and email should be more than enough! I’ll bet if I was late on payments you wouldn’t need my social security number for a payment!!!! I want to speak to someone above Ryan. What do I have to do???
