In September 2021, Igloo was acquired by a Swedish manufacturing company, Dometic Group, for $677 million.
In June 2022, Igloo released a special edition cooler featuring deceased rapper Tupac Shakur in honor of his birthday.
Igloo maintains a corporate office in Katy, Texas. It is unknown if headquarters will be moved after Dometic’s acquisition.
