I live in Butte Montana, Herbergers in our small mall is closing. Their neighbor Kmart closed this year as well. Now we’re left with only one big store, Walmart and a few stores Uptown. Maurices is hanging in till their lease expires in the mall. Shame on Herbergers! You big companies just walk away claiming bankruptcy where only the upper tier will benefit. Employees in the Montana stores will get no severance because of the laws. Where are the laws to protect the average consumer and employees. SHAME SHAME SHAME.

I just recieved your “Raise the curtain Fall 2017 catalog, and I have to say that the whole thing is mostly frilly/ flowery clothing for women Or Large sleeved, whoever is your purchaser is clueless. It’s no wonder why, year after year these items go to either discounted yellow dot year after year or end up in your outlet stores where most clothes go to die. Herbergers is getting about the equivalent to a sub division of a Walmart store. I see poor quality ( don’t get me started on your shoes) as well as overpriced hideous clothing. Just a suggestion for your purchaser, most women like clean lined clothing, although diversity is understandable, but c’mon, who picks out the worst items possible? I don’t have a degree in fashion merchandising but I don’t think your purchaser does either, and the funny thing is…I could do better.
I have had issues using the coupons. They say it’s a 25% off coupon but when you look at the discount that is actually given, it’s usually closer to 15% or 20%. So people need to watch the discounts to make sure they are getting the right discount when ordering online. Then of course there are items that tell you they are coupon eligible and they tell you which coupon code to use, however when you go to use that code, it tells you its not eligible. Herberger’s will be losing all of my business pretty soon. I shouldn’t have to monitor this like I do. It’s already lost several sales from me. How many more are you willing to lose?
I would like to talk to the CEO or COO about a terrible experience at the Rosedale store. Clerks not interested in assisting, Clerk who said they didn’t know the price of an item,( I called for a Manager and the Assistant Manager came and helped me with a cosmetic item) a restroom marked Women’s which had two urinals in it and one of two stalls was smeared/covered with feces.
Then when I tried on a dress and went back to the dressing room, my clothes were gone. My clothes were later found in a bin.
This is awful! Corporate needs to know how bad your store is and that you are driving me away from shopping at your store and maybe that is your intent for all customers!!!!!!!
I had recently ordered a pair of shorts via your website. There aren’t many Herbergers stores close by so on line is the easier way to go. I didn’t have any issues ordering, however, when I received the shorts in the mail, they still had the plastic device on them to prevent them from being stolen. Please explain to me why you would ship something to someone with this on there. The thing that probably irritates me the most is that I emailed customer service about it and NEVER received a response. I think it might be time for me to stop doing business with Herbergers.

Why are you carrying Ivanka Trump merchandise? Do you realize that there is a huge ethical problem with the daughter of the president of the United States (who is also an employee of his administration) keeping a personal stake in her private businesses? I cannot shop at Herbergers until you take a stand on this and remove her product from your shelves. If Nordstrom can take a stand, so can you.
The Virginia MN store is a pit. It is so old, filthy and cluttered with UGLY items. Who does the buying for this store? I had to get the hell out of there because it stunk. AND, every Herbergers store must have sent their Ivanka Trump jackets to Virginia MN because the coat section had nothing but Ivanka Trump jackets. WTF? I will not ever shop there again.
Something needs to be done with your coupons they way they are used…. I love herbergers stuff and shop a lot there but I think I will not in the future… Every time I go in there the coupons I have they will not let me use on the item, they have a whole list of ones you cant use them on, plus bonus buys, plus exclusive ones….. Went in to purchase a Calvin Klein coat and wouldn’t let me use the 50.00 off. that is ridiculous!!! I guess will have to look for the same coat elsewhere where a coupon is offered!!! Kohl’s lets you use your 30% ones plus your kohl’s cash love shopping there. I have heard others complain about this also I think I deserve a coupon for my coat, as I am a avid shopper and also praise up herbergers love their shoes and buy my boats there all the time, that was another thing couldn’t use coupon on just a selective few……. thanks please answer me back……
Hello I was hired at Herberger’s store in St. Paul MN. After going through the orientation and trying to learn your registers I decided that retail was not the job for me. I gave written notice to Angelene Lagrone.She called me (after not reading my message about giving notice) to give me my hours. I explained to her why I was not taking the job. She understood. Last Thursday I emailed her to ask about getting paid for the orientation. I have not heard from her. Even though the job did not work out for me does this mean that I don’t get paid for my 8 hours of orientation? I hope to hear from someone about this matter. I truly don’t want to go to the MN Attorney General over this matter.
