The initial start-up is “free”, but if you should decide that Noom isn’t for you, canceling the plan is difficult. So difficult, in fact, that the Better Business Bureau has issued a warning regarding this problem.

Kevin McCarty founded Eaze in 2014 to deliver medical marijuana to patients within the state of California. The company began out of McCarty’s San Francisco apartment along with 4 employees. Today, the company has close to 100 employees.

Nicknamed the “Uber of Weed”, the company does not grow or sell cannabis, it only delivers the product. Eaze has approximately 250,000 customers and does approximately 120,000 deliveries every month.

Eaze has raised nearly $52 million in startup funding since its founding in 2014. With cannabis sales soaring, companies that do delivery services, such as Eaze, are in high demand.

After trying out Eaze for herself, current COO Megan Halstead Miller was so impressed by the company, she applied for the COO/CFO position and was hired to the team in 2017.

Eaze has been a popular investment choice for those who don’t want to or can’t invest in growers and see a delivery service as untouchable.
