I was at you’re Halloween Express store on Milton Ave. in Janesville, WI 53545 and the head employee who looked like he just rolled out of bed or homeless on the street (dirty/raggedy clothes) you have working there had his drunk buddy hanging out at the desk where customers checkout at. His buddy was falling all over and talking inappropriately in front of me and other customers. He was allowing his friend to sit in a chair behind the register and drink out of a clear plastic cup what looked to be like beer when I was in the checkout line. Another lady seen him when she walked in with her son and turned around and walked out. Very unprofessional and I was glad I didn’t have my kids with me. I won’t be going back there as long as he is working there. I told people I know about my experience there and they too won’t be going there. Don’t be surprised if you start loosing customers and money at that location because of him. Also the masscred masks at the store were all falling apart I was looking for one and tried looking at a few different types and the material was falling off the masks…glitter of designs missing and some straps broken and masks themselves cracked or broken on side. Hopefully you care about the stores enough to look into it and fix it. I’m willing to go back when u have more professional employee running the store. Thanks for you’re time. Good Luck
The Manager of your store in Greenville, SC (Dawn) is exceptionally unprofessional. My daughter worked there for a short time and hasn’t received her paystub. Called several times with no return calls before reaching Dawn on the actual line. I couldn’t believe how rude and unkind she is!
Having worked years in retail management and customer service before becoming an Executive Recruiter, I have hired managers for retailers nationwide. You need to know that this particular individual is a poor representative of your company. She claims she knows nothing about payroll and that Halloween Express only mails paystubs at the end of the season? Is this true?
Kept telling me she had nothing more to say to me because I had to deal with corporate. When I told her that I called corporate last week and was told I had to call the retail store directly because each store is individually owned and operated, she said that wasn’t true. She then said that they don’t do any payroll at the store so she had nothing more to say, etc. She was very belligerant.
My daughter is working elsewhere in a much better environment and would just like to get her paystub so she can put this behind her.
Just wanted you to know because your reputation in Greenville, SC is taking a real hit as a result of this manager’s performance and attitude.
