The manager who works at the Great American Cookies store in Lithonia, GA is extremely rude and does not know how to behave with customers. I have seen him multiple times in the mall yelling at customers, shouting at the employees who work in the store. I complained many times to the workers to do something about it but I don’t know if they are taking it into consideration. This manager has to be replaced. Many times i visited the store and when I ask few basic questions about the cookies, or flavors or cookie cakes, he behaves very rudely and instead of answering them he rudely cut me off and for the other customers too. The employees at the store also have been facing lot of harassment from him. This is my request to please fire him and replace him with a good manager who does business the right way.

The store in the Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah, GA has maggots that have turned into small flies in the same case as the cookies. I brought it to the Cashiers attention and she had the audacity to say, “Why would she say that!” This store needs to be shut down. I guarantee they will sell those same cookies. I would not dare buy anything from the store ever! Good luck to those who do! BEWARE!

On Friday, February 19, 2021 a close family member ordered a cookie cake at Great American Cookie – Mount Berry Mall. The cake was incorrect, the icing was suppose to be purple & it was brown. On Thursday when the cake was noticed to be incorrect the young lady working that night said it wasn’t an issue to bring it back & they would correct it. It was brought back the next day where the ‘manager’ proceeded to a argue with her saying it was purple, I will attached the picture to show the cake as well, to see it’s clearly wasn’t purple. The manger then proceeded with NO GLOVES ( as she’s literally decorating another cake with no gloves ) proceeded to run her bare hand through her cake while calling her profound names in the process. I have messaged the Facebook page for the business with no response, they read my message but did not respond. I am seriously in shock, she ran her bare hand through her cake while calling her a B****. I just wanted you to be aware of the situation, I’m sorry but I have contacted the health department as well as local news stations. I’m at a total dismay. And really hope this is on camera in your store. We reached out to the owner of that great American cookie who says she will take her employees word on this. I can not believe your company allows this kind of behavior. We will never be giving our business ever again.

I ordered a cake for my daughter for her Birthday. I ordered the night ahead and set pick up for the next afternoon. I was very specific about what pic i wanted on it and I looked on sight to see if I could find a similiar one that was offered to make sure it was offered. I gave a last resort pic i would settle for but again what I requested was no where near as difficult as many many they offer.
Her track coach picked it up for me and I met them at the track after school. I was mortified and very embarassed about the 42$ cake i paid for and received. It was not done per the specs i requested and the picture was not right wither. So I called and spoke to store manager Jessica and she told em that she was not there and the guy that was was busy so all though I ordered almost 24 hours ahead becuase the pic I was for was not simple he did not do it or even attempt to becaseu he was too busy. On top of that the cake was very hard. it presented like a 4 day olf crispy cookie and the corners were visible burnt.At one point she said mam i do not know what you want me to do, I wasnt there . then she suggested if I wasnt satified I could just call corporate about it because she was busy and didnt feel the need to discuss it further!!!!

I ordered two cookie cakes online.
Went to Galleria at 5 today to pick them up. There were two guys working at the kiosk. Told one (African american one) my name. He looked and pulled one box with one cookie cake. I told him I had order for two. He asked the white older guy. The second looked around and told me he doesn’t see the second one. They did not express any apologies. I asked “Rich” what happen and why I don’t have second cake. He did not apologize and just told me he doesn’t know since he wasn’t working today morning. He just continues stare at me without saying anything not offering refund or anything. I told him and begged if there is any chance they can do quickly one? He said no. I asked when do they open tomorrow (Sunday)? He answered and started to speak very loudly that they will open at 12. Which in my head I am thinking ok i can get another cake from them tomorrow (but realized quickly that my son’s birthday party will be starting at 12 and I will not be able to do so). I asked him what can they do. “Rich” said again very loud I need take one cookie cake and they can put some cookies instead of second cake. I told him (at that point i am already crying) that i cannot take cookies because my son wants two cakes. He told me well there is nothing else then. I asked for refund he informed me he cannot do that either since the order was placed online. I asked him what do I do now then? He said take cake and go home or call monday for refund (i guess i need to call headquarters)? I asked who is there manager he told me Amanda. I asked if Amanda has a last name. He said he doesnt know how to pronounce it?. I asked him to write it down. He said he needs to look it up and I need to wait for 10-15 mins. He disappeared. Returned few mins later and told me he is not giving me his manager last name! I asked where are the company headquarters he said here in Birmingham (clearly he doesnt know who he is even working for because i found out that their headquarters in Georgia). The African – American guy laughed loud when I asked where their headquarters. I was already crying and being laughed at for asking questions. I took their pictures! “Rich” asked me what I am doing. I informed him that taking his picture to inform headquarters of his company and also make a review on their company and might going to include his picture. He already was speaking loud and screamed that you know what I am going to do to you?! I told him try it and stormed out of their kiosk. I passed a police officer who saw I was crying and he asked me by gesture if i am ok. I nodded yes.
Being a mom who son wanted a cookie cakes for his bday party, on his 10th bday, having to drive over 20 miles to Riverchase Galleria mall to American Cookie company kiosk for pick up to find out there no order waiting for me and being laughed and scream at in the mall but a guy who has no respect to the clients all of the above just crushed me and left shaken and in tears.

Ordered a birthday cookies cake from Newport News, VA – Patrick Henry Mall.
Order number: 157751182
The cookie was ordered online, therefore, it was all spelled out.
The cookie was shown to me from across the area – I only saw the design and it was correct.
The cookie was supposed to read: Old As A Dinosaur. Happy Birthday Meggie!
At the party setting out the cookie we realized there were several BIG mistakes.
1. The name was spelled Maggie NOT Meggie.
2. Dinosaur was spelled Dinasour.
3. No exclamation point.
4. Most words were NOT capitalized
When I called the store they asked me to bring it back. I said NO party has started. Then she wanted to come to the party to repair. NO it was not my party and I regret that I volunteered to bring the cake (very embarrassed). Then I was offered a dozen cookies.
Being the situation and the number of mistakes I feel I should be reimbursed for a cookie that I did not order.
If I can I would love to send a picture of the incorrect cookie. Let me know how. And the number I was given was an incorrect number for headquarters that I asked for.

My best friend Sharon Oliver-Boutte daughter has been the manager at Great American Cookie Company in Memorial City Mall for the past 3 years! She has done an excellent job. However, new management have come in, demoting her, writing her up without her knowledge or signature, hiring his wife and other family members, and wife threatened her stating someone from her family called the Manager and threatened her husband, the new Manager, which is untrue! I truly believe this is injustice and possibly criminal behavior! Can you please assist us! She is a hard worker, her name is Jazmine Oliver! I bought a $20 gift card for $10 on Quad-City Times – Deals on 9/18/17 for Great American Cookies in Northpark Mall in Davenport, IA. I ordered a cookie for my Son’s 12 birthday party, which I picked-up on 10/19/17 at 4:40pm. I was in a hurry and didn’t realized that the girl who ran me up, charged me $15.99 for the cookie when it was supposed to only come up to $5.99, total.
I called the store at 5:37pm on 10/19/17 and they told me that the Manager was not in so I left my name and phone number for her to call me back. I never received a call back so I went out to Northpark on 10/22/17 and she wasn’t there. The girl that I talked to, said that I need to speak with the Manager, so I asked her to leave a message with the Manger to give me a call back. I never received a call back so I called on 10/26/17 and asked for the Manager; however, she was not in and I asked when she would be in so I can talk with her, the lady on the phone told me that she couldn’t give that information out. I told her that I lived in Blue Grass (about a 25 minute drive from Davenport) and it’s not easy for me to stop in to speak with her in person – IF by chance she would be in. She then told me that she knew what was going on (about the $10 and that I’ve been trying to get a hold of the Manager). She said she could just mail me (not sure on what it was going to be….a refund or a coupon or what) but I was a little upset and I said that’s fine and I gave her my address.
As of last night, 11/2/17 I haven’t received whatever she, or the Manager, was supposed to mail to me.
I feel like it’s now a joke with the employees in the store since she said specifically “she knew what was going on”.
I’m extremely disappointed that I haven’t received a simple phone call back from the Manager and that this hasn’t been resolved in a timely manner.
Yes, it’s only $10 but the reason I bought the deal in the first place was to save money and now I’ve not only wasted money, I’ve also wasted way too much time on this!
Is there anything that you can help me out with this, as I’m clearly not getting any response from the Manager at the Davenport, IA store, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have a complaint about the 16″ round Cookie I just picked up at the collections @ Forsyth in XXXXming GA. It’s my mothers bday and we are having a party. Her favorite is the great American cookie. So I ordered it for pick up at 12:30 today 8/6/2017.
I paid 32.00 for it and the writing on the cookie was to say Happy Birthday Mom! It looks terrible and the the icing was smeared and small and not even centered. . I’ve never in all the years have had such a bad experience with the cookie company. I did not have time to demand for the employees to fixed it. I’m ashamed to even take it to the party. Very disappointed!
