After Gov. Cox’s death in 1957, his son, James Cox Jr., assumed leadership of the company.
In 1969 the company acquired Manheim Auto Auction, which has grown to be a leading provider of used vehicle services.
Today Cox Enterprises encompasses media and non-media companies. Cox Communications is the #3 cable provider in the United States and has more than 6 million customers. The company owns eight daily newspapers, 15 local television stations, and 80 radio stations.

Cox makes it impossible for retirees to contact them. My mother is 92 years old and she needs to change her ACH information. You cannot call the pension department. The recording says to leave a message and then says the mailbox is full. It has been full for over a week. The recording says to send an email and someone will ontact within 24 hours. I have sent two and no one has contacted us.
I am absolutely disgusted and because of the way she was trested she no longer takes the paper when she and my deceased father were loyal customers for 60 years.
All Cox cares about is their money and not their retirees. I will be flabergasted if this comment gets any response from COX.

My recent experience with cox as a cox customer is quite simple “They stole my money” i paid two 50.00 deposits on 2 contour boxes and I returned the boxes and now they are refusing to give my deposits back and playing any game they can to keep from returning my deposits what worse is that I am still a paying customer, they buried my cable right through 2 of my neighbors yards when the account clearly is marked A for aerial, where the prior existing cable still remains. no matter what you say to these people they just don’t care and they’re support agents only answer with pre prepared responses and are incapable of resolving issues without a price tag for additional services like they have been programed, I am completely dissatisfied with cox service however they have a monoply where I live and bar anyone else from using the lines. They hols our community hostage to conform to whatever they want because they know there is no one else you can call.

They may steal my money but, it wont cost me a thing to take legal action and will cost them thousands to defend it with they’re expensive attorney’s, they will lose more than I will so in the long run justice will be served.

I retired from Manheim New Mexico several years ago and moved To Fayetteville, GA in August 2016. Yesterday, I got my 1099-R and Block 13 it shows “NM0333985300 4” and in Block 14 it shows “$1775.28”. I do not live in New Mexico so there should not be anything going to that state. Please get back to me and explain what is the purpose of these two “Blocks”. Thank you for your time.
