Buehler’s Fresh Foods was founded in 1929 in New Philadelphia, Ohio, by Ed and Helen Buehler. The company operates a chain of grocery stores, which focus on local and sustainable food products. Buehler’s is the largest purchaser of Amish produce at the Mt. Hope Auction.

The company currently has 14 locations in the northeast part of the state of Ohio. Company headquarters are now located in Wooster, Ohio. Buehler family members still own and operate the company under the parent name of E&H Family Group. E&H for Ed and Helen.

Mesa Airlines filed for bankruptcy in January of 2010 in order to release themselves from leases for the planes they no longer needed. The company came out of bankruptcy in March of 2011; the fastest turn around time for any airline filing for chapter 11.
