Oswego Sub Shop Corporate Office

Clark Greene opened the Oswego Sub Shop in 1969. At that time, the sandwich shop had 10 sub recipes, and some family recipes, such as the home-cooked roast beef sandwich.

Clark passed the sandwich deli to his son Bill Green, who ran the operation for another 35 years before passing the sandwich shop down to his son, Bill Green, Jr. Junior is still the CEO of the company.

Bill Junior did a complete overhaul of the restaurant, both inside and out in 2002. Although the restaurant was as popular as ever, Junior was not quite satisfied and did a second overhaul in 2009. Today the restaurant is substantially larger and houses both a state of the art kitchen and a bakery.

The Oswego Sub Shop has a larger menu than before, including more than 65 varieties of subs, wraps, and sandwiches – as well as salads, soups, chicken wings, side dishes, and fresh-baked desserts.

A well-known employee and manager of the Oswego Sub Shop, Val Clark, retired after 42 years of making sandwiches.

Oswego Sub Shop maintains its corporate office in the same location where its been for the past 50 years, in Oswego, New York.

Pods Moving And Storage Corporate Office

PODS (Portable On Demand Storage) was founded in Florida by Peter Warhurst in 1998. His family owned a moving and storage company, but he wanted to take it a step further. He invented the mobile storage unit, more commonly referred to as a shipping container or pod.

In 2007, Pods was acquired by Arcapita for $451.4 million. In 2012, Pods sued U-Haul for using the name Pod when referring to their U-Box product. U-Haul ended up paying Pods $62 million for infringement of copyright.

The new PODS containers have a steel frame construction with completely recyclable panels made of steel skins and a high-density polyethylene core and are produced in three sizes: approximately 8-by-7-by-7 feet, 8-by-8-by-12 feet, and 8-by-8-by-16 feet. The top is a translucent polymer, which allows some filtered light into the container.

Borden Dairy Corporate Office

Borden Dairy has roots that go all the way back to 1857. Unfortunately, the company fell on hard times and Borden divested itself of its various divisions, brands, and businesses. KKR shuttered Borden’s food products operations in 2001 and divested all its other Borden operations in 2005. Borden dairy brands are currently used by Borden Dairy Company for milk and by the Dairy Farmers of America for cheese.

This information is for the Borden Dairy Company which produces milk products.

Borden Milk Products’ items are available in the following U.S. states: Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, and Ohio.

The Borden name is well known across America, as well as their logo and mascot, which is an animated cow named Elsie.

On January 5, 2020, Borden Dairy Company and sixteen affiliated companies filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in the District of Delaware. The company spokesperson said that there would be a reorganization of debt and not a selling off of equipment, farms, or other liquidations.

On January 14, a court-approved Borden Dairy to continue with “business as usual”, following their bankruptcy filing.

In September 2022, the company stopped providing milk to 100 Alabama school districts.

Little League Corporate Office

The Little League can trace its roots back to 1939, when there were only 3 teams playing in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

n 1953, Robert Francis Morrison filed an official charter with Little League Baseball, Incorporated to admit the Cannon Street Y.M.C.A., as its first all-black team. In 1955, when Morrison entered the Cannon Street All-Stars into the city tournament, white leagues reacted by drafting a resolution requesting a whites-only tournament. All 55 white teams eventually withdrew from the city and state tournament. The Cannon Street All-Stars became the 1955 South Caroline state champions by forfeit. However, they were informed by then Little League president, Peter J. McGovern, that they would not be permitted to represent the state at the regional championships in Georgia. Little League executives invited the Cannon Street All-Stars to attend the tournament as guests to view the World Series that they were not permitted to play in.

Up until 1973, Little League was restricted to male players only. The charter was officially changed to allow females to play in 1974.

International teams began playing in 1957, with Angel Macias from Monterrey, Mexico, pitching a perfect game.

Today, the Little League is the largest organized youth sports team organization in the world.

In January 2020, a Pennsylvania Little League district has asked players to no longer use the “Astros” name after discovering that Houston’s Major League Baseball club cheated on the way to winning their 2017 World Series title.

Erbert and Gerbert’s Corporate Office

Kevin and Beth Schippers opened their first restaurant in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in 1988. The store name and sandwich names come from characters that Kevin’s father made up when he told him stories.

Kevin’s big desire wasn’t in sandwich making, so the couple sold the franchise business in 2003 to a group of investors. The original sandwich location on Water Street is still owned by Kevin and Beth.

In January 2020, the company announced that it was creating a plant-based sandwich that would be available for a limited time only.

Due to the coronavirus crisis and subsequent quarantine of 2020, the company began offering free delivery service with a $10 minimum order as of March 19, 2020, for a limited time.

In January 2023, the company opened a new location in Minnesota and announced plans for 7 more locations in the state later in the year.

The company continues to maintain its corporate office in Eau Clare, Wisconsin.
