LSI Corporation Corporate Office

Donaldson Company Corporate Office

Donaldson Company was incorporated in 1915 by Frank Donaldson as Donaldson Engineering. The company was established to sell the engine air cleaner filter that the founder invented.

Within the first decade the company had acquired an air filter license and introduced a new kind of filter, the Simplex, which was used to prevent damage to engines.

Notable events Donaldson Company’s history include expanding to Canada in 1938, expanding to more international markets in 1960, beginning production in China in 1999, and the acquisition of Aerospace Filtration Systems in 2007.

Today the company makes filtration systems that remove contaminants from liquids and air. Donaldson produces air intake and exhaust systems, liquid filtration systems, dust, fume, and mist collectors, air filters used in industrial gas turbines, computer disk drives, and factory clean rooms. The company has 39 manufacturing plants and operations in 40 countries.
