Cheaptickets have the worst customer services. Their Representative did not do their job. The American Airlines cancelled my ticket, I called Cheaptickets to find alternative bookings. They said they will contact AA and email me back. Few weeks past, nobody emailed me from Cheap Ticket. Today, I spoke to Dan, a Representative and asked for alternative flights. He said the airlines did not provide any alternative bookings. I asked for refund. He said I can get FULL REFUND. He ignored about the travel protection that I paid. When I mentioned that, he tried to push me to call the Insurance Agency AIG to get the refund. He said I passed 15 days due to get refund on Travel Protection. I told him that I tried to get alternative flights and the previous Representative said they will email me when they get confirmed by AA. Dan did not care what I told him. He did not understand that AIG will not refund the travel protection if I call them. Cheaptickets must be the one to work with them to have FULL REFUND FOR ME. I asked him to his ID, Initial of last name, Call Center. He said he was not allowed to provide. This is a lie. He only tried to push me to call AIG and that was all he did. Very upsetting customer experience. Never book this Cheaptickets again. Bad customer services and irresponsible Customer Service Representatives.

I called cheap tickets to try to book straight with them as I had purchased a ticket last year to Lagos Nigeria. I booked flight and hotel through them and had no problems doing so. When I called today to book again for this year, I was told by one of your Reps that “U DON’T BOOK FOR AFRICA”…I was pissed off because I KNOW that is a LIE having booked just last year. HOW DARE HE TELL ME SOME BULLSPIT LIKE THAT!!! It, was racist to voice profile me and say such a thing! I wasn’t thinking to get his name out of anger but they refused to allow me to speak with a Supervisor! I need to speak with a Manager or Supervisor IMMEDIATELY! Today I started my journey to check on my flight as I had received noticed from Cheap Tickets that my flight had changed although the message did not give me any other information. I did get to speak to a Rep after 2.5 hrs on hold and he gave me the new inteniry which was impossible for me to make. When I mentioned I needed to canc he disconnected the call so I called back.
I started calling at 2 pm today, it is currently 9:18 pm, this is after 3 reps after hours of waiting “disconnected the call” when I mentioned I could no longer do the flight due to the fact I would miss the event I was to attend as the “New” flight time had me leaving before it even occurred. Also I am 67, I had a bad fall so the likelihood I will be over the concussion I have is questionable. Please have someone contact me within 24 hrs. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Julie, I am very upset, at the way my case has been handled.
I have called 3 times and have now talked to 3 different people, the gentleman in vacation packages was very nice, he was on the phone with BA Trade (800-243-6822) when we got cut off, as I had talked to BA before calling, they informed me that I am entitled to a refund for the flights under the conditions of carriage, as they canceled the flights.
Each time I called back and talked with a lady, they were unhelpful and verged on rude, the last lady even asked if I had finished when I stopped talking.
The US Secretary of Transportation has issued a directive for all carried to offer full refunds for cancelled flights due to the Covid19 (Carriers have a longstanding obligation to provide a prompt refund to a ticketed passenger when the
carrier cancels) I will be taking my complaint to the Secretary of Transportation like others to gain my refund, as your company is refusing, even after I have told all three associates that I wanted to talk to a lead, supervisor, or manager I was refused and told a case needed to be raised, the lady hung up without informing me if the case had been raised.
I would like a response letting me know when I can expect my refund for the flights that BA cancelled in the amount of $1193.32.
I will also be passing my experience to the US transportation as I feel in these times, your staff should not be allowed to hold my refund hostage, if to tell me they have no way of transferring me to the department or person I was dealing with, or that notes were not there for them to read.
I have to say, not at any point during my frustrating conversations with the associates did anyone ask why I wanted to receive a refund for the flights and if I had considered rebooking.
Originally my plan was to receive a full refund for flights and hotel, once received I planned on rebooking an upgraded cabin and hotel for the new dates.
Not one of your associates were able to ask me that, British Airways had said all your associates needed to do was once the whole trip was cancelled, rebook my upgraded flights and hotel of my choice for the dates I wanted, apply the flight credit and charge me for the balance of the new booking. Please tell me why your staff are not trained in this type of customer service.
I do understand they are dealing with a lot of people frustrated by the situation and not knowing if the next travel dates would also get cancelled, but this doesn’t excuse rudeness or the inability to rebook an upgrade.
I would like nothing more than to have my vacation all booked and ready to go, with no up charges and at the price I see on the screen.
Better still why don’t you make credits available for customers to use and rebook their own flights, hotels or vacation packages.
Please have someone call me regarding my refund, I’ve still not heard from any manger

I Have purchased 3 tickets from CHEAP TICKETS, totaling an amount of $1759.56. to travel to Central America, (Nicaragua), from 08/19, 2019 thru 09/12/ 2019, We had a family emergency, my brother passed away and I had to cancel our flights for my son, husband and me, Reservation Number/Itinerary: 7343826494478, I spoke with customer service and the lady cancelled our flights, and said we won’t get a refund but the tickets have one year to rebook or make our flights valid. Now, it is not even the year, and I called to book our flights, with the surprised that they said tickets were not valid and I can’t flight because I cancelled my tickets, I paid $1759.56, I work so hard to pay for this money, and I am trying to see if there is any way to have our flights or having the opportunity to fly with my family and have 3 tickets without paying extra money. I even pay for Insurance on this. Now they said it is too late to book flights, what is this? I am giving you the opportunity to follow up on this please, give me a response as soon as possible. I like Cheap Ticket, but this issue has been putting me in a situation where I really need your help. I will appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you.

We have been on the phone almost all day trying to get a problem straightened out. We booked 6 flights from Philadelphia to Orlando for a terrific holiday. We opened an email and found out today, the destinations were wrong. We wanted to fly to Orlando from Phil but it had the flights Orlando to Philadelphia.
Now they are charging us $300 plus to make it right. This airline makes millions and will not correct a mistake they made. They said we should have verified it within 24 hours.
American Airlines get customers one at a time and lose them the same way. I will not fly with them again
This has put a burden on all of us with paying the difference of $1900 plus

I recently traveled to Vancouver. I had a reservation for a rental car and about a week before my trip I realized I had made the reservation for an offsite location. I called Cheaptickets and they put me on hold and told me that there would be transportation for me to get to the offsite rental car location. In hindsight, I should have called the rental car company but after many years of using Cheaptickets and never having a problem I trusted it would be ok. Well, I arrived in Vancouver to find out there was no transportation to the offsite location except by taxi, which was ridiculous. I spent over an hour on the phone with two different Cheaptickets representatives and they never once apologized for the mix up or offered to provide any real help. After a bunch of nonsense I cancelled my reservations and luckily for them they cancelled without any problem and I took a shuttle to my final destination. Because of how poorly I was treated I will never use Cheaptickets again and have been telling everyone I know never to use them either.

Seats were not given until check in when it said seats will be given I thought it meant call and get before we leave which is fine on the way back we had seats doesn’t make any since.I have emailed 5 times keep getting response refer to somewhere else but address won’t go through. THIS IS NOT A COMPANY BUT A GROUP OF THIEFS AND LIARS! This week I had a flight scheduled to travel from Europe to Central America.Unfortuntley because of an urgent health matter we needed to change our flight. Even though I purchased a complete insurance on your cheaptickets.com site(specifically for any changes made to my flight) NO REINBURSEMENT was provided. I had to pay for two new tickets, summing up to over $2,000. When i showed to my new flight we couldnt board becuase the cheaptickets agent made a mistake on our new date. The company is not taking responsibility and wants me to pay an additional $USD2,000 for the tickets *even though i have already spent 2,000 dolars extra even though i had purchased their travel insurance. Aside from this we need to pay hotel, food etc and your companies reply is “you can buy a new ticket”. This company is merely group of thiefs hiding behind what we initially consider a company! Over $4,000 of expenses becuase of their theft!

We Purchased a package (Airline and Hotel) to travel to Panama City Panama for family vacation August 31, 2017. During our travel we were informed by news media a hurricane was going to be hitting Miami Florida. The city we were scheduled to fly back with a 2 hour layover. You would think the customer service rep from cheap tickets or airline company ( American airline) whom cheap tickets is affiliated with, would have called all customers to notify of citation. Well NO ONE called. American airline cancelled flight 3X and never bothered to reach out to customers. We reached out and asked if they could re-route us, they refused. They showed no sympathy towards our citation. Spoke with a Jazmine and Katy from American Airlines and both personas didn’t care of citation. We asked if they can accommodate us with a hotel since they couldn’t help with finding us a flight with another airline or re-routing us. They REFUSED !! Please – Please do yourself the favor DO NOT TRUST this company nor its affiliates ( airline company AMERICAN AIRLINE). Not a diligent company at all. HORRIBLE Airline with NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ethics !!

I booked a trip to mexico for 3. My husband myself and my son. Once I submitted i noticed there was only one king size bed. I immediately called to Cheap tickets and they informed me it would be changed. I called today and was told it would be an extra 35 per night for another bed. When you book a reservation for 2 adults and a 16 year old with one bed.
