I will never shop at Super 1 again including the pharmacy department. I went to the store in Crowley LA. The employees are extremely rude, not willing to help and the store is dirty. I’ve seen employees on their cell phones. I’ve had cashiers attempt to put cleaners in the same bag as my fruits and other food items. I had one cashier on her cell phone who kept her eyes on her phone as she handed me my receipt not saying a word to me. This happens every time i step foot in that store.

Department managers are treated horribly. They are over loaded with work without overtime and extra help. Store managers farting on people and harassing people I saw it with my own eyes. It’s sad and disgusting then they want to pray with you and then turn around and tell you to hustle and make them as much money as possible while paying the least they can to their employees. They say they are open to diversity but it’s a bunch of BS. I’ve seen racism and homophobic behavior from store management constantly. I saw a man who struggled with alcoholism get clean and then a few weeks later they sold him a box of loose beer from broken cases for five dollars. Wtf? Who does something like that? I could write a book about the crap I’ve seen go on there. I don’t think they are bad people, I just think they are unprofessional. You can’t run a business with that kind of nonsense and if it continues with this clownish behavior then it with eventually go out of business. The way employees are treated has an effect on their customers and in a hostile environment it won’t be long before people stop shopping there all together.

I am very disappointed in the curbside at Mt.Vernon Texas Brookshires several times I have placed orders and waited for someone to contact me about my order. They never have my order ready on time and I have to hunt them down to ask about it. This is suppose to be convenient and help shoppers. A shopper should never have to hunt the curbside employees down to ask if they have started there order especially when it is way past there pick up time. This is very bad customer service. I do curbside so I can work around my job and taking care of my family this makes it very difficult when you have to contact them about your order to see if it is ready. Please look I to this situation.

Columbia Louisiana bakery manager Sarah is the rudest. Everytime I order a cake we go to pick it up her famous line, your cake is almost done. I been so busy. Go do some shopping I’m almost done. I ordered a week ago and then to top it off it wasn’t what I ordered. She yells at me storms to manager makes a comment that I better pay for it or she quits. Everytime it is some bull with her. There is no other bakery near by so we have to order from her. Even my friends have the same experience. Complaint after complaint she still acts the same. The lady should not talk to customers that way.

Hello, I went to Brookshires on Mansfield in Shreveport three days ago and bought 3 gallons of Golden Brook Ice Cream, black walnut, Rocky Road Pistachio almond, it was mushy when we got home. I let it stay in my freezer for the last two days and it is still mushy. Everything else in the freezer is solid as a rock. I thought you would want to know.

I was shopping at our local Brookshires today at noon and so a Social Monitor was in your store upon asking I was told this was from your company. We are a small town in rural Texas and a total of 11 cases in the whole county. No new cases in several weeks. I do not like being monitored to see if I am staying 6 feet away form the next shopper which I was doing but your Social monitor was not. She talking to a person in a electric cart just a few inches away. I feel your money would be better spent supplying the store with the groceries they need or another checker and stocker. I do not usually complain but I feel this is not necessary and I little to close of violating my rights.

Ashdown, AR. I lost my bank card and needed cash to pay a few bills. I use an USAA which is an online bank so I cannot just walk in and get a replacement card or cash a check in the lobby. I called the store to ask if I could cash a check there and was told yes. The lady said if it is written out to someone it can be cashed as a payday check for a $3 fee and up to $1000. I get to the store and tried to cash it for $500. Logan and Gail were very nice but said they had to get the okay from the store manager. He was very rude and told me they only do $50 for personal checks. I said okay and did not even try to push the subject. I asked to cash the $50 check and he rudely said no. Just no. I said I have an id rhi king that might be the reason for denying me after not 30 seconds ago telling me they do personal checks up to $50. When I asked why he said because he did not know me. So now my question is, does the store manager have to personally know each person that cashes a check?? The sad thing is I was going to pick up groceries for dinner while I was there to save me a trip from having to go anywhere else. I was not rude or unprofessional in anyway so to be treated like this was totally uncalled for and I will most likely never shop at a brookshire’s again unless I’m left with no other store in a 100 mile radius.

A new Brookshires came to Hot Springs Village, AR 71909. I was excited because when I lived in Texas I shopped there and it was always a good experience. Today I pulled up there and in the front was hanging a confederate flag. Not an America one, a confederate one. This has no business hanging in the front of a business that serves everyone and even though may be part of history, it is a part that should be stashed away in a trunk somewhere. It is offensive to many. I am white but if offends me as well as my family and friends. For this reason until it is taken down I will not be going there, and I will make sure social media has this information.

I have shopped at the 2022 N West Ave branch of Brookshires in El Dorado for many years. For me it was once the”go to” grocery in this town. As I watched the management deteriorate over the years, most recently with a character named Bradley, it has now become the “avoid at all costs” grocery store in El Dorado. This so-called manager would do better as a stock boy or bagger, and I’m not sure he would be any good at that. The deli department is completely understaffed, often entailing a wait for cold cuts of at least 15 minutes. Why would a deli department have only one staff person working during the busy lunch time period of the day. And why would the bakery department be understaffed most days, also entailing long waits for special baked items. On many occasions the check out employees in every open lane are under 21 years of age and cannot check out beer or wine. This is an almost daily routine! Why bother to sell the product if no one can ring it up? In the past I have mentioned the deli department problems to this “manager” whereupon he begins examining my grocery cart and inquires as to what am I having for lunch. What kind of manager is that? There will have to be a radical management change in that store before I spend any of my hard earned money there again!

First thank you Brookshires for the Sulphur Springs, TX store. Being the only grocery store other than Walmart in town thousands depend on you. I spend a lot at your store and shop there weekly. Please consider a remodel of the ladies room. It is reflecting on the cleanliness of your store. Yeah, it functions but one toilets tank top doesn’t fit and looks awful. Seats are loose. Floor is nasty. Faucet sprays so hard and for way too long. Soap despensers busted. Getting where I’d rather use Walmart’s restrooms! But your prices are so much higher I figure you can afford to make our experience in your store not scary. Makes one wonder the state of the meat prep area, diary storage, the produce storage, and the cleanliness of the deli prep. Just fix it please.

Why are you using high fructose corn syrup and MSG in your store brands.?High fructose causes extreme high blood pressure and so does MSG. You blame the manfactures, but you are in control of what you put your name on. . I shop your store in Hallsville and am very thankful to have this convenience and the thankful for the people who work there. I am concerned over the use of high fructose corn syrup in products and also the use MSG. These products cause grave health concerns such as extreme high blood pressure, even though I take three different blood pressure meds, consuming anything with high fructose corn syrup sends it to 200/100. You have control over what you put your brand name on. At the same time I must be in control of what I eat. I repeat I am very thankful for your store in Hallsville and for the people who work there.

This is Jackie Smith again. You say you have no control over what the ingredients are that you put your brand name on. I still say yes you do. I have control and will no longer buy your brand name products. There has to be a better way of getting what I need.
I do not think you read your complaints.

I guess a simple “out of order” sign would have been to easy! So they have 10 pallets stacked in front of the restroom door with a 3’*3″ cardboard “out of order ” sign . And the upstairs blocked off with a chain and curtain ,so you can’t use the upstairs restroom. Wow what if a older person needed to go than who will clean the floor. I have a pic .

My husband’s and I have shopped at the Weatherford location for 20 years. Gave always been satisfied until recently. I have watched managers treat my husband like he was dirt under their feet. Especially one that seems to have a vendeta against him. All because of a little emotional support dog ! This man is determined that my husband’s is not going to bring her into the store. He has walked up and interrupted conversations my husband was having. Rudely I might add try to tell him his dog can’t be there. My husband’s is a Vietnam veteran served 2 tour’s and has a few problems because if it. His dog has been licensed and causes no problems in fact most people love her. But these managers are very hateful to him. He doesn’t deserve this at all. What he deserves is a little respect. Something these two men know nothing about. The cashier’s there have even rolled their eyes at the managers when they were ranting about it. I have called cooperate and left emails and these people only ignore the situation no one had ever gotten back to us and this had been going on for four months. All I can say to these people is I hope no one you love is ever treated this way and that you don’t care about your customers at all. And I urge anyone with military in their family to find another place to shop because Brookshires cares nothing at all for their veterans

I have shopped at Brookshires in Clifton, TX for several years. I own a business now and I have a tax resale certificate. Recently I told the manager that i was tax exempted and she replied to me that she would have to send my tax number to BGC to get approved. I replied to her that my tax number was valid and she told me again that my tax number would have to be approved through BGC corporate office before being tax exempted. I then asked to talk to the manager above her and and he told me the same thing that it would have to be approved through BGC corporate office. I was then given the number to BGC’s corporate office. I got frustrated and left without purchasing anything. When I got home I called the TX comptrollers office that provided me with the tax resale certificate and was told that as long as my certificate was valid there should not be any problems accepting my resale tax certificate. After talking to the TX comptrollers office I looked online and found the BGC’s corporate office phone number and called them. After several tries to get to talk to the CEO, I finally talked to a nice lady that knew how to speak English and didn’t put me on hold for several minutes. After telling her what the managers at the Clifton Brookshires store told me, she called the store herself and told the managers working that as long as I had a valid tax exempt number to accept it and not charge tax. She even called me back to let me know she talked to the managers there. I am writing this complaint because it is sad that I have to drive 45 minutes to a Wal Mart to be tax exempted when I can be tax exempted in my surrounding local grocery store. If the CEO is reading this complaint all I ask is to please make sure that the managers know how to manage a store. Instead of giving me the BGC’s phone number, have them call and ask questions that they (the managers) do not know…. Please train a manager the way you would want a customer to be treated!

Hi. I have been buyi g Cardinis Caesar Salad Croutons at the Super One store in West Monroe. I also shop at the Pines Rd Brookshires in Shreveport. At the time neither store carries this brand anymore. Is that a corporate decision? No e of the other brands come close to that brand in flavor and quality. I would appreciate it if those stores carried that product once again. I shop at these stores at least once or twice a week. Thanks.

I would like to say that my Nephew has worked at Pittsburg Tx for almost 8 months. He gas cashiered, stocked and done carryouts. He begged for hours, picked up shifts from co workers and never missed a day. He took verbal abuse from a lady in the cash office and now he got fired because a customer threw a fit because he didn’t check his eggs. I have gone in this store for over 20 years and no one has ever checked my eggs. I know companies say customers are always right and you do whatever makes the customer happy. I have worked in retail for over 25 years and I’m sorry but some customers come to the stores with bad attitudes and treat us like dirt. Ww should not have to take that from them for the company to make a dollar. It’s so sad now how hateful this world is and how cruel people can be. And to loose a job because of how they treat us. I am so disappointed with this store for doing this to my nephew. He was dependable, and loved his job. Except for the fact of the cash office lady getting on to him for anything. He even went to the manager and told him what was going on with her. Despite everything when you have a young man who came from a shelter and was trying his hardest to make a life for himself and then you get a customer who complains about not checking his eggs and then this young man is fired because of it is very wrong. I have always checked my eggs. I don’t think it’s the cashiers responsibility to check our eggs.

Is it true that your stores are limiting how many checks (within a certain time frame) you can write to pay for groceries and prescriptions? on March 4th paid for meds several months supply over $100 worth then needed groceries. Wrote a check for groceries $105 and the check was over the limit? someone did an over ride. Then March 5th a med that I needed finally was approved by the dr. picked it up and my check for $45 was rejected. I paid cash for meds and the few groceries I needed. I have been a loyal customer since your store opened in Mabank. I have never written a bad check to your company or anyone else and I do not want an ATM card, they are not safe to carry. Prior to march 4th I wrote checks for groceries or meds. on 2.27, 2.24, 2.16, 2.8, 2.4, 1.29, 1.22, 1.17, 1.11, 1.9, 1.5, Does this look like a lot of checks? to you? I felt like I was a criminal and people in line behind thought I was writing a hot check. You need to rethink your policy, some of us do not want ATM cards. What is going on here? My identity has been stolen in the past, is this what is happening now? again. I would like someone from corporate to call me asap , 214.558.XXXX, thank you

I am messaging you on behalf of Jeff Adkins, who was recently terminated wrongfully from the Grand Saline location over a outrageous accusation, in which no evidence, nor proof was obtained. As you may know Jeff has down syndrome, and is protected under not only the federal ADA laws, but also Texas’ own ada mirrored law. I find it shameful that yall were so quick to let Jeff go after 27 years of hard, loyal work. He is loved by all of our community, and a growing number of more than 400 are now boycotting the hometown store. He is always smiling, always courteous, always reliable, he does his job more than sufficiently, while maintaining a wonderful bright outlook on life. I hope yall have a change of heart sooner rather than later. Several new stations, local, and larger cities have been contacted. I will keep praying and hoping for the right thing to be done.

At Brookshires #36, located in Whitney, TX.
Tonight, my fiance and our four year old son were grocery shopping at Brookshires. When we got to the check-out, we realized that unfortunately we had miscalculated how much grocery money we had on our card. We were short about $47. As we started to hand a few things back to the cashier, I became emotional and decided to take my son and go back out to the car and wait for my fiance. When he came out, he put the groceries up and told me that a manager (Store Trainer) by the name of Misty did not hesitate to ask how much money we lacked for the grocery bill, and proceeded to pay the difference that we did not have on us. With NO hesitation. Nothing like this has ever happened to us, and we can not express our gratitude enough. You didn’t know us at all, but you paid for some of our things that we could have easily lived without. The customer service and southern hospitality in that store never ceases to amaze me. The Store Trainer, Misty, from the Whitney TX Brooksires is a great employee and this company is very lucky to have her. Bless you!
