Blink Home Security was originally founded in 2009 as Immedia Semiconductor but quickly evolved into producing home electronics and security cameras.
The company, now owned by Amazon, manufactures battery operated security cameras that are operated and controlled via a mobile phone app.
Since Amazon’s acquisition, the company continues to operate as a subsidiary and many anticipate that Blink will be used for the Amazon Key service.
In October 2020, respected online information and review company, CNet, gave Blink Home cameras a positive review, although it noted that the subscription service leaves a lot to be desired.
The company does offer indoor and outdoor security cameras, as well as the popular “doorbell camera” that rivals the Ring.Com model.
Blink Home Security maintains a corporate office in Andover, Massachusetts.

Have been working with support for 2 months. All I get is it is my network. BUT I CAN NOT GET ANY SPECIFICS. How can I trouble shoot without specifics. A 10+ second lag is unacceptable. If my network is at fault why does Ring connect instantly?

Unfortunately, you both have company. I’ve been trying to find out why my Blink video clips no longer have the ability to fast forward, since October 4 and with over 40 combined emails (I’m NOT exaggerating). Around the 30th email, they advised that the option was not available.
BUT, it used to be available.
I then was told my ticket would be handled by the “higher customer service reps”. When they reached out to me, they offered more suggestions that didn’t solve the problem, but said they’d be in touch.
Their latest email came today where they again said the option was unavailable and that they would forward my complaint so the option could be in the next update.
Blink has the worst customer “service” I have ever seen. I would NEVER buy another Blink product.

Good luck getting any help to change phone number to change password on app or with customer service. They want serial #( not any of the numbers on the box), system nickname, etc.
When you’re 1200 miles from home and can’t access any information other than giving them your name and new and old phone numbers they can’t even grasp the fact you’ve stated you are 1200 miles from the system! Beyond frustrating!!! Waste of time and money.
