I purchased a sectional sofa in March of 2019 along with the 5 year warranty in Broken Arrow Ok. They didn’t have the sofa in stock so I had to drive to OKC and pick it up, no biggie. Still have the receipt, called a couple of weeks to report the damages to it from one side to the other and sent pics in to the insurance company. Now on this call, the Rep was suggesting any date he chose. I had no idea there was a time line on damages lol. A 5 year warranty is a 5 year warranty or should be rather. This guy just kept on stating dates that damages occurred. Unreal. Then I got an email stating none of the damages would be covered on my plan. The email said if it was stains it could be checked. They’d send someone to look and verify and/or clean it, if they couldn’t get the stain out then the piece of furniture could be replaced. This is such horse sh#$. I’ve been in American Freight stores throughout Oklahoma and every single time that I do, I’m greeted by a sales associate or even the store manager. And here they go stabbing the sh*t out of sofas with their ink pen and have made it clear on every single occasion that if it left a mark OR a hole, they’d completely replace it. The manager in Lawton Oklahoma (Charlotte) just recently stabbed the sh*t out of a couple of couches and told my son and I that if it made a hole or any damage that they’d replace it. Now sounds to me like American Freight owes me a new sofa. They haven’t done anything for me and I’m here sitting in a damn lawn chair at 62 years old. American Freight you need to do better, I am gladly going to retract my statement to many people throughout the U.S. about how you guys will replace furniture and have such a good warranty. All of American Freight staff need to be retrained and stop the stabbing furniture demonstration or back it up. This includes all of management as well. FYI, It could be personal maybe. This manager Charlotte hired me as a warehouse mgr, I received an email offer from corporate then sent me for my drug test, background
check and dot physical then 3 days later I received the email showing it was all completed and cleared to work. Several days later I got a call from her stating they were not going to hire for that position and she could offer me a sales associate position so I accepted. I needed a job !! So I was told she’d send the info to corporate and then call me to let me know when I’d start. 4 to 5 days later still nothing so I called her and was told she still didn’t have my background check and told me to just sit tight and shed notify me lmao. At this point it’s been almost 3 weeks or longer AND I have the email that states completed background. And so did she lol. I waited another 4, 5 or maybe even 6 days then I called corporate inquiring do I or do I not have a job. I was told someone would get back with me. Corporate still today hasn’t made contact. However the store manager finally called me some more days later, I’m sure she was a little pissed off because I had called corporate for some answers. Anyway she left me a voicemail telling me I needed to bring in my ID so she could get me on a schedule. WOW that was an entire 3 or more weeks out of the month. I could have received paychecks already!! I had filled out the new hire packed back on the same day I completed the background check that only took 2 days to return. Needless to say I declined on that job. And I’m glad I declined, I would not want at all to tell people that their furniture would be replaced. In fact from what I’ve learned over the past few days, I’m so thankful I declined that job. I can not be a part of a company that will not honor what they tell everyone, people work hard for their things, its not everyday a person can rush out to buy furniture. That being said, that’s very poor management as well as very poor actions on corporates part. Just like the stabbing the furniture from all the sales associates and management. Shame on you American Freight I’m so very disappointed in yall and from all these reviews I’ve read looks like a whole lot of other people are too. I would appreciate a phone call to explain this. My warranty is still good until March of 2024 and I need answers. This lawn chair sucks. Again American Freight I want some answers and deserve a call back.

I purchased living room furniture set 09/24/2017. I purchased the 5 year extended warranty for $199, making the entire purchase $1,916. This warranty is very broad and cover’s everything, including stains, tears etc on the leather. When we moved, we moved the love seat in the new home and the left side recliner is bent. the warranty co came out, approved it, along with a rip in leather and a broken cup holder, he submitted it to American Freight. I received an email from them saying I would get full replacement. I have been to my local store twice and they have said it’s been submitted to the home office in Ohio. After the second visit, I waited a week and then called back, they said they can not get a call back from Luanna Fry who is in charge of making this happen. I got the phone number to call, I’ve now left 2 messages for her and not had a reply. If American Freight is reading this, my claim number is 61658, original ticket number is 2612871 and my original invoice from FFO is 26 121871.

To whom it may concern…
I am writing this letter on behalf of my daughter, who purchased furniture from one of your locations on June 6th. The store (#127) is located in Dallas, Texas on Wheatland Road. The initial delivery date was July 22, however it had to be pushed back to July 27. She called to confirm the time, only to find out she has no furniture, and her order has been completely paid for. I cannot understand how the order was never placed, however her payments were taken. She moves into her apartment TODAY without any furniture. Can someone please let us know how the issue is going to be rectified ASAP. This is of no fault of her own, and the store clerk who handled the order did not perform any due diligence and dropped the ball completely on this. I have already contacted the Corporate office, as well as sent an email to the CEO of the company regarding our urgent complaint. We did speak with Corey Felder at the store, and he has been working diligently on trying to obtain a resolution for this issue and we do appreciate him for his quick recourse to action. Customers do not appear to be a priority as they should. This is unacceptable.

It cool I’ve already found them basically what your sale rep said at the store in Athens Ga. Very in professional. I’ve worked in customer service all my life and I’ve never would have handled this the way they did. Yesterday he even said he was going to call me back never heard from them. I wasted time and money on and incomplete pick up if I knew the order wasn’t complete I would’ve never order it to get told after a 2 hour drive we don’t have the rails to the bed. So I paid a $160 on rails that should have been with my bedroom set from your store. Very piss. I will continue to tell my friend do not associate themselves with your store. I have all my paperwork to prove my horrible experience.

I’ve been a long standing customer of American Freight for years. Never have l ever experienced the rudeness and disrespect from the Store Manager (Marc) and District Manager (Jay Kahn) than l have in my hometown and state of Miami, FL. Numerous errors from the store’s mix ups in 1) scheduling my delivery, 2) having damaged items set to deliver, 3) misleading in the availability of promised items and 4) keeping in communication with finding a fix when times flagged unavailable. To add injury to insult, a store manager having zero respect and sensitivity to a situation that THEY created, along side a District person who backs this awful behavior. Understandably, the culture of COVID has transformed all of our lives. As a Frontline Worker, COVID fighter and survivor, l understand all too well how adjustments have to be made for things beyond our control. That said, exemplary customer care and helping to find a resolve especially after YOUR team members errors are the culprit, should be the desired results. I get it. This is alot. We’re all overwhelmed. But you’d be surprised when you treat people with human kindness how differently they respond. Specifically when you apologize with sincerity, be straight with them and try to find a resolve. Getting more upset than the paying customer and basically telling them that they’re bothering you for voicing their concerns of a poor customer care experience is not. I just want my furniture. I wasn’t offered another option, a loaner, nothing…just we don’t have it and don’t know when it will be in. I’d love to speak to someone higher up the ladder than Mr. Kahn over the Florida District. Mr. Belford, or any other operating owners please feel free to contact me.

I purchased a bedroom set for my son on 4/6/19 at the Grand prairie location in Texas. They said it had to be pucker up in Dallas, went to pluck it up for home and the furniture was 2 different colors. We took the brown footboard and nightstand back as we had purchased the black set. They told us we would have latest 2 weeks and I had to call them after 2 weeks to find out where the missing furniture was and they said they were putting it in the truck for delivery that day. I waited and nothing got delivered. I called the next day spoke with manager in site and he said they don’t even have the items in inventory. I asked him why they lied to me and he said it was the other manager that was in that day. They told me I could turn in the items I and get a refund but I had to call the location I paid at. I call over there and speak with the person I purchased the furniture from and she said they are not allowed to do refunds. I told her I need the rest of the parts so I can put the bed together and she tells me she is going to call around. I called her back after several hours and she said they will deliver the stuff by 8pm on 4/25/19. Here if is almost 10pm and no delivery. This company is the worst company i bought things from. Customer service sucks and obviously is full of liars. I called regional manager and left message Monday and still no call back. I paid $900 and I don’t even have a complete bed to put up. ????? They need to be shut down or hire better people. All they worried about is making the sell.

My boyfriend worked for American Freight and then at some point they decided that they wanted to let him go about two weeks later they rehired him back but he never received a paycheck from being let go so he went back to work he work the week is end up ultimately leaving anyway at the end he never received his paycheck management would not issue him another paycheck we had to run them down and he still hasn’t been paid yet I told him that I felt like it was illegal for them just to hold his check and not pay him I would never have stood for it therefore we have been reaching out to corporate the founder Steve Belfort or anyone of the head people emailing them and letting them know that their Savannah location management team is very unprofessional and do not properly pay their employees.

I purchased a sectional, recliner and a rug on Saturday. After getting my set home, the left side was not there. They sweared they would have it today (Wednesday), so I waited. I called an hour before the store closed and was told they can not get the other part of the sectional after I threw out my old furniture and rented a uhaul because they were backed logged for deliveries to bring the new set in. Someone needs to contact me immediately to rectify the situation. This is unacceptable. I literally had to call them. No one contacted me.

I purchased a bed room set on the 19th, I call on the 20th and told the guy I would be there on the 22nd to pick up the furniture. I was told they we’re waiting on the guy to make a delivery to the store I went which was off Sterling Road in Florida.
I was told it would be a couple hours.
I called back later and was told they were still waiting on the delivery guy and the Manager asked me did I want to drive to Pompano and pick it up myself and I told him no.
I go to the store and the Manager told me I can take what the had which was just the matttres and box spring. Again I asked why was it taking so long.
By this time I’m pissed off.
They all if a. sudden they find the dresser. So about 4:00 they told me as soon as the rest if the furniture comes the would deliver.
So Sunday on the 23rd I heard nothing from them so I called at this point the whole storyline changed, first time the Manager said he would call back in a hour and of course he did not.
called back second time and was told the driver did delivery but they was soooo busy they forgot to take the furniture off the truck.
And was told they would deliver on Christmas Eve. I informed the Manager I would not be available.
So by now you should realize that I still don’t have my furniture and when I called of course the store was closed and won’t open up until the 26th.
No call from anyone at the store.
So now I’m mad as hell I have to wait 3 more days.
I don’t like liar’s and this Manager has been given me nothing but the run around.
Now I need some to get in touch with me and let me know what you guys are going to do about the situation.
And please no more runaround or bull s**t.
