Roxy was founded in 1969 in Torquay, Australia. The company is a division of Quiksilver, which makes clothing, swimwear, and accessories for young women. The Roxy brand was introduced in 1990. Today, the company has headquarters in Huntington Beach, California.
Since being introduced, Roxy has become the largest action or sport fashion wear for young women in the US. The brand is designed to appeal mainly to young beach going women or the camping set. The company now also produces and sells wetsuits, fashion accessories, such as handbags and belts, surfboards, skis, footwear and perfume.
The parent company Quiksilver had some financial problems and filed for bankruptcy in 2015, but has emerged from chapter 11 in 2016, with Roxy clothing being their mainstay, rather than the Quiksilver line of men’s clothing.

Hi, my name is Ray. I am a loyal longtime Quicksilver customer. I am a white male in his mid 30’s and I have some feedback for you all.
Have you seen the movie White Hot? I’ll assume you have… let me tell you a story about your stores…
One or your stores in particular is located in Mission Beach Belmont Park. Have you ever been? The people who pass by your store are 75% minorities.
What do them and I see when we pass by the store? Posters of white people. ALL of them are white and skinny and perfect looking.
The people passing the store are Mexican, Asian, African American, some white… and others.
My question is this, why? Why are you ignoring the demographics who are walking passed your store? Do you not want them in there shopping? Do colored people not like bathing suits? Do minorities not like to skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding? Are they not worthy of having their pictures up? Do you not like catering or selling to anybody other than white people?
Here’s my advice to you. Make a change, AND FAST. Because you’re next up on the list of which stores are racist. I can almost guarantee you.
I hope this helps.
Your friend,
Ray

I have been vocalizing a concern to your customer service team and my frustration has fallen upon insensitive ears, I would like and I have, not to mention requested five times to have my email thread read by a supervisor or escalated to management to see the lack of proper attention addressed and compensation for my frustration and no one is contacting me back. I am contacting the Canada division. Please email me back at the earliest opportunity.

Hello! My name is Sarah Mauricio and I am going to be a junior in high school. I attend Helix Charter High School and I play three sports, am an active member of Girl Scouts, and enjoy volunteering. I am currently working on my Girl Scout gold award. For my project, I am educating teen athletes about osteosarcoma and its causes, symptoms, and how it is diagnosed. I chose to do this project because my dear friend, Sam, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma last year and I had never heard of that type of cancer. I would like to inform teens about this cancer so that if they have it, they can identify the symptoms, which will cause them to visit a hospital sooner. Hopefully, this will help a person catch the cancer earlier so that their is a higher chance of successful treatment. I am also going to make care packages for teenage cancer patients that I will donate to local hospitals. I am going to include a hat, a bottle of lotion, a bottle of hand sanitizer, a pair of earphones, and a handwritten note in each care package. I plan to make at least one hundred care packages so that I can put a smile on the most amount of kids possible. I have fundraised a lot for this already, but I have not made enough money to fulfill my goal. I was wondering if you were able to help me reach my goal by donating hats (baseball/fedora/trucker. These items would hold all of the items in the care packages that will in turn brighten someone’s day. I know for some commpanies, you need a 501(c) form to request a donation, but I do not have one as I am an individual working on my Gold Award, not part of an organization If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at 4346 at helixcharter.net or call me at (619) 335-XXXXX. Thank you in advance. I look forward to hearing from you.
From,
Sarah Mauricio

Hello Roxy,
I was just wondering if Roxy would ever be interested in sponsoring a wake-boarder. I know your main sponsors are surfing but I think if you got some wake-boarders on your team to rep your swim suits that could really grow your business. You currently do sponsor womens snowboarding as well, so I would love to talk more about sponsoring womens wakebaording if you are interested. I am an avid rider and have the potential to grow the sport tremendously. I have had medical conditions that could’ve stopped me in pursing my dreams but I love the sport too much to let it go.
If you would like to talk more about sponsoring wakeboarders you can email me or reach me on my cell phone: (435)-850-XXXXX
Thank you so much.
