Andy’s Frozen Custard was founded in 1986 by John and Carol Kuntz. The original location was in Osage Beach, Missouri. After eating frozen custard for the first time in Wisconsin, the couple decided to come up with their own recipe and open a business. The company is named after their son, Andy.
Today, Andy’s Frozen Custard has 29 locations in 5 states. The company serves a variety of frozen custard flavors, including apple pie and pumpkin pie in which an actual pie is ground up and mixed in with the custard. This chain is also known for purchasing thousands of boxes of Thin Mint cookies from the Girl Scouts each year and using the cookies in their custard. Andy’s Frozen Custard also serves milk shakes and sundaes with frozen custard, rather than ice cream.
Despite the coronavirus crisis of 2020, some restaurant locations, such as Andy’s, are opening new stores, rather than closing them.
Andy’s Frozen Custard maintains a corporate office in Springfield, Missouri.

I went to Andy’s in Liberty Mo and had a free small concrete coming because I downloaded app and this free concrete cost me an additional small concrete. Girl at window did
Not know how to do the free coupon and when she called the manager Jess I got
Charge twice. Went to Jess and explained the problem she assured me there would be no additional charge on my card next day well there was. Know it was only 3.87 but it was the customer service. NONE. Need to train people

Had w butter pecan concrete in Lee Summit yesterday and this is the first time I was disappointed in my order. I usually get mine in Springfield and they are always great. This was so runny that I gave up on the spoon and just drank it. My friends was thin but not as bad as mine. We both thought the flavor of the custard was disappointing. Tasted like cheap ice milk. They may need help from Springfield. Always good there!
