Currently owned by Wyndham Hotel Group, Baymont Inn was founded in 1973 by Steven Marcus, who wanted to make a hotel chain that was budget priced by offering limited service. Originally named Budgetel, the hotel chain was sold several times over the years to companies such as La Quinta Inn and The Black Stone Group.
Baymont Inns feature larger sized rooms and indoor corridors. Many locations offer suites and pools. As of January of 2016, there are 400 Baymont Inns within the U.S. Some of the franchises were changed to La Quinta Inns when that company owned them.
Since being purchased by Wyndham Hotel Group in 2008, the hotel chain has taken on a new midscale look and price range, with many locations being revamped and remodeled.

Stayed in Tulsa, OK helping clean up after storm damage. My Airbnb I booked didn’t have power so stayed here until it came back on. I stayed one night and the. The next day I added a night on with some extra rooms. I got a confirmation email so I thought I was good since they had my credit card on file while booking the first night with them. My worker who had stayed there the first night went back to the room only to find he couldn’t get in. They had raised the rates and said he had to pay to access his personal belongings that were already in the room. By this point we just wanted to get out things and leave since they raised the rates. THEY HELD OUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS RANSOM!!! We called the police and still had to pay $200 to get our things out and leave! What a joke and that should be illegal!!! I will never stay at another Wyndham again!!!!!

I’m writing to you (Corporate office officials of baymont hotel) regarding an employment issue on what would’ve been my first day of work. At the hotel in north Florida.
I was set to start working an new job at (baymont hotel in lake city FL) July 24,2022 Sunday morning at 9am I arrived 10 minutes early as my usual standards of being punctual, the manger did inform me that he doesn’t arrive until 9:15 every day in which he did sunday, everything seemed ok at first he asked me did I turn in all my tax and work forms from the day prior in which I did right after the interview, and his question reminded me to tell him that I did not receive a Direct deposit form for my banking, and this is where things changed,He stated and I quote that the hotel does personal check payouts for the first (6weeks) month and a haft and Overtime starts after 80 hours of work because pay is biweekly, ???? Now this I needed more explanation on because To my understanding an work week for full time is considered 40 hours of clocked labor work according to State Law and he told me that’s not true for Florida and became a little aggressive and loud saying now he wants me to leave that I would be problematic in the future, that he doesn’t have to explain anything to an employee, because I wanted an better understanding or clarification about the overtime statement, that a supervisor is not to be questioned unless it involves the employee work details. I don’t want to be speculative ???? but even the questions during the interview were a lil far fetched but he still did in fact hire me on the spot in the presence of his wife or female employee who was present at the moment and on Sunday (7/24/2022)

We stayed in the Baymont in Franklin Tn and we had bedbugs and spiders in our room. I told them about the bedbug sand ask for my deposit and a refund. They assured me that they were returning my money to my card that day. They’ve yet to return it. The owner/manager made fun of me when I called and ask for a refund again, laughed at me and hung up on me. I’ll never recommend Baymont by Windham ever! Worst experience ever!

Worked for baymont in Barstow California, Older manager Sandra is sleeping with a 20 yr old kid, makes others do his work so he can be with her in the office. Bibi manager has her husband working there and they lie to employees about why they tell them not to come into work so he can get the hours himself. Joke of a business.

On December 13, 2019 we stayed at the Baymont Hotel in New Buffalo Michigan. The hotel looked clean. We stayed in room 202. When we walked in the room, the room was way over heated. The heater was running full blast. We had to open the window because we couldn’t breath in there. 1. We failed to call the front desk to let them know. We left the room to go out. We came back went to sleep and in the middle of the night my sister got up because something bit her. ( She didn’t think anything of it, put some vicks and went back to bed. When we got up, he told us something bit her. So they started looking and found a redish bug. We took a picture of the bug, when we checked out that morning, we let the clerk know and showed her the picture. We didn’t think anything of it. When I got home I looked this up and I realized it was a bed bug. I read more about it and I read that they can use heat treatment to kill bed bugs. Bed bugs and eggs die in 90 minutes at a room temperature of 118. The room was 113. So is this why the room was so extremely hot. I put a complaint to the manager, and she stated that she would call pest control to investigate. They claim they found no findings and the picture was not proof that there was a bedbug. I would not recommend this hotel, because to they clearly do not care to look out for the clients. This is unhealthy and unsanitary. This means you can bring these disgusting insects to your own home. So I give this a big Fat Zero.

We stayed at the Baymont in Lawrenceburg, Indiana on 10/11/2019. I accidentally left my Amazon Fire Tablet in the room when I left. I called in the afternoon & talked to Angela. She said it was safe in the Managers Safe in his office. She said to send a box from the post office prepaid postage & they would mail it out to me. It cost us nearly $20.00. I called & told them the box was on its way. On 10/20/2019 I spoke with the manager & he said my tablet was in his safe. They received the box on the 10/25/2019. I talked to Jacob on 11/01/2019 & he assured me the tablet was mailed out that day. I didn’t receive it yet, so called on 11/07/2019. I talked to the manager & he assured me he had mailed it out HIMSELF the day before, 11/06/2019. He said the box was to small & he had to get a different one. We knew that wasn’t true as we had taken a tablet the same size to make sure the box was the correct size. Still no tablet, so called again 11/18/2019, my husband talked with the manager & said to call back after 4pm when she came on duty as she was the one that handled it all. What A liar!!! I am worried about all the information I had on it. I can replace the tablet, but if it gets in the wrong hands who knows what could happen…identity stolen, I am afraid!!! Double check your rooms, whatever you do, DON’T EVER LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND, YOU WILL NEVER GET IT BACK. WE WILL NEVER EVER STAY IN A BAYMONT AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!!! This has been an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. The manager should be investigated. He even has his help lieing for him, SO SAD!!!

The most worn unkept hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was a blood stain on the carpet just outside the bathroom. There were blood splatters or coffee on the wall around the vanity. The lighting strip above the vanity had five openings for bulbs….three were installed and none of them matched or were appropriate for the fixture. The complementary shampoo bottles were previously opened and half full. The towel in the rack looked like something I would wash my car with. Worn and tattered on the edges. When I returned to the room ( after sitting at the hosp all day ) I found a large group of Hispanic men on the upper balcony with the chairs from the room on the walkway…drinking their beers and playing music very loud. The lobby was outdated and worn and I will not even comment on the breakfast. This hotel should be pulled from the brand !

The Baymont Inn on Riverside Dr. in Macon, Georgia is by far the worst motel I have ever stayed at. Sticky floors, gray duct tape replacing the missing bathroom tiles, trash on the bathroom floor, missing baseboards by the vanity, 2 of the 4 light bulbs above the vanity were burnt out, clock radio did not work, no hairdryer, ( you could see the metal plate where it should have been), the dirty telephone blinked all night, noisy people outside the motel all night.

My mom stayed at the Baymont in in Dolton, IL right off the express on Sibley BLVD. Upon gathering our things to leave we found a bed bug in the bed and brought it to the GM. He walked us back up to the room, inspected it, recorded it on video, and then insinuated that we were the ones that brought the bed bugs. He then was so rude and disrespectful to us that we had to do a review and report him. We kept asking for the corporate phone number and he would not relinquish one. Then he emailed my mother and said that he would refund our money and apologized. Then he emailed again when he realized that we wrote an review and said that we couldn’t get out money back until we removed the review which was the truth. I said that is extortion. If we are due a refund because of the conditions of your hotel then give us our money back! we shouldn’t have to remove an review when its the truth and be punished for it. Someone need to reach out to us immediately? He can not get away with this. We have pictures of the hotel, the room, how it smelled like marijuana, construction dust was on the head board and in the bathroom. You could tell the no housekeeping was in there for days.

My issue is with Baymont Inn and Suites Roseville, Michigan- GENERAL MANAGER Julie Reyes.
I worked at Baymont for a short period of time. My employment ended abruptly when Julie told me she was not going to give me my check because she could not find out where the missing money was coming from. I told her she cannot do that as I was not stealing any money and she needs to start an investigation. We had cameras at every corner of our office, therefore I told her to check the cameras because if there was missing money, it was not me.
Julie proceeded to tell me she does not have to check the cameras, she simply needs me to cash my check and hand her the missing amount because “she cant figure out how the money is missing” yet REFUSED to check the cameras.
At that point in time Julie Reyes told me if I do not hand her the missing amount of money then I will finish my work day and I am fired. I told her I will not hand her the money and I will not finish my work day if she is just going to fire me for her incompetence as a general manager.
I was thinking about it and it did not make sense to me as to why she refused to check the cameras if she needed to figure out how the money went missing. I came to a couple of conclusions: she herself was doing something wrong and did not want me to see it AND/OR my trainer (Chelsie Hawe) was stealing the money. I could not prove it, so I let it go and told myself I did not want to work for such a toxic company anyways.
Fast Forward to the present, I am now working for another company through a contracting agency and she is trying to verify my previous employment that I had listed on my resume. When she called Baymont, somebody told her I have never worked for this company, and now I am facing termination solely because my contracting agency wasn’t able to verify my previous employment here at Baymont. This company is completely unprofessional and unethical. I need someone to give me some sort of employment verification so I do not lose my job.
If I do not receive a call or email back from Corporate Baymont within the next 2 days- I will be going to the Better Business Bureau and telling them everything (I know a heck of a lot more then this) as I will have lost this job because of Julie Reyes inability to do her job correctly and professionally.

Hello! I am a current employee at Baymont in Manning, SC. I have been here less than five months and already experienced enough problems to be concerned.
1. We get 10 cents raise every two years and workers who have been there for almost ten years earn less than $12 an hour.
2. Assistant manager has to buy few office supplies from her own pocket. There have been few times when she was put to work 1st shift (7 am-3pm) and called at the last minute and said she will be late (she was by two hours and it wasn’t the first time). Not only that, but she always calls in the last moment and asks for someone else to cover her shift, because she has constant family problems.
3.I get at least one complaint every three days about dirty sheets, plumbing and general maintenance problems along with rude employees. One time I had to fix the toilet and clean up, because it was 2 am and there was no one but me, and it was a full house.
4. Some housekeepers don’t show up when they are scheduled. One of them called the manager ”stupid” and they got into a huge argument. She still works there. There have been more than enough times when housekeepers stole personal items out of the rooms. They know that manager would never fire them, so they know that they can get away with it. TV remotes are absent from the rooms.
5. Manager sets up his own schedule and if he has last moment plans, he calls the night shift and asks to come in. Goes on vacations every month, so four of us have to pull doubles sometimes, instead of him hiring another worker. If we have problems or questions about work, he directs us to assistant manager, because he ”doesn’t know all the answers”. There were at least three times when I had to stay extra thirty minutes to an hour until head of housekeepers will get to work. Manager at that time told me to stay at the front while he drinks his coffee, even tough it was is shift and mine was over…
6.One of the receptionists has been getting complaints every year for being rude, ignorant and racist. When I worked with her on a busy Saturday night, she was extremely rude and sat at the desk, listening loudly to music and texting. Morning after I told about the incident to my boss and he talked to her about it and how it was me who complained. Since then every time her and I switch shifts it gets awkward. Other employees told me that few people who tried to apply for my job had to quit because of this rude worker. And since one of our work responsibilities is cleaning, she never does it, because she is best friends with manager’s wife who once told me and other housekeepers that the wife ”doesn’t know s**t”. I was nervous to tell my manager that.
7. My manager never fires anybody. One of customers made a complaint in front of me and my manager about the rude coworker (#6.) and he didn’t fire her.
Please, this motel needs an inspector to come and see how bad things really are, or other manager, who knows what he is doing and who is there at all times, not just in the mornings.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Stayed at the baymont in Columbia SC. Never again!
I tried following their policy to change the dates of my stay since I had to leave a day early (I had already paid for my reservation a month early)and was told by the hotel staff that I needed to talk to the general manager. So I tried talking to the general manager, was given the biggest run around I have ever seen. Was told that next time don’t use Travelocity book directly through the hotel and she would have been happy to help me…
not to mention hotel room wasn’t completely clean, the air conditioner sounded like a Mack truck was coming through the wall. We reported our room issues and nothing was done to fix them. We got NO sleep thanks to that air conditioner.
Travelocity called on my behalf to speak to the hotel manager and she said she wasn’t willing to refund the day that we would be leaving early and had already paid for. I could understand if the hotel had been busy but I counted maybe 15 cars in their parking lot on a Thursday!
I tried following their policy, I contacted everyone they told me to contact and then was still screwed in the end. I have my correspondence with the hotel in email if anyone would like that as well. I plan on warning as many people as possible about this hotel through our military support social media pages. Perhaps I can help someone else from making the same mistake I made…

The manager of that Inn is Luis Ballon – Since 02/11 I forwarded 8 nessages by e mail to the Inn but received no reply. That night the a/c was not working – The room was the smallest I ever saw. The booking was made through Wyndham Rewards. I complained because it was a wasted night- We could not sleep one minute and at 4am we went down to the lobby and outside the Inn to have some fresh air. I requested to have a full refund but received no answer. Please investigate this mater and let me know asap. No one can sleep in a small room without having a/c and the temperature outside was particularly high that day. Awaiting to hear from you – Thanks.L.Troni (My a/c with Wyndham is 109 806 959 B in my name)

This was the worst service we have ever experienced while staying in any hotel or motel. (Four adults, requiring two rooms). The wait time with just one customer ahead of us was extremely long. The host kept blaming the computer for the excessive time it took to check in. The second night our rooms had not been touched (beds unmade, trash not emptied, and still dirty towels on the floor. We had to go to the desk for towels. We were assured that housekeeping was still there and would clean our rooms. This never happened! We were also billed wrong. Both bills were billed to the wrong person and the wrong person’s card was charged. The AAA discount was not applied. We will never stay at a Baymont Inn & Suites again, especially Lawrenceburg, IN!

Wyndham hotels and resorts will no longer be a choice for our family and friends due to horrendous room conditions and customer service from our most recent stay on 8/25/17-8/28/17 at Baymont Inn & Suites located at 715 South James Campbell Boulevard Columbia, Tennessee 38401. When these concerns were brought to the attention of management it resulted in further errors that has cost my family financially and emotionally at an already difficult time. Due to the following concerns:
– Repetitive error in room rate charges and credits for poor room conditions: quoted one price, card processed with another of $401 on 8/28/17, $35,77 unauthorized hold on card 8/28/17, a 2nd unauthorized $35.77 hold on card 8/28/17, and 3rd unauthorized $143 hold on card dated 8/28/27.
– Repetitive inconvenience at check in: Room 107 broken bed, Room 106 double booked by two different individuals, Room 103 poor conditions
– Poor room conditions in 103: urine yellow stains on sheets, red dripping marks on/ around doorway, dripping faucet, sagging and spring noises in mattresses.
Prior to contacting corporate office I attempted to resolve these concerns with management on site. The assistant manager Shelia repeatedly refused to acknowledge the concerns, stated the card credited $35.77 (when charged that amount). Then over phone when errors were identified on 3-separate occurrences, denied the erroneous charges to my credit card until my bank representative confirmed by phone on conference call. When the bank representative requested a faxed notice on hotel letter head itemizing the errors and authorization code originally received by hotel to reimburse funds back to the customer Shelia agreed. However, the letter she sent to my bank was not accepted due to the missing authorization code requested by bank representative.
Initially at check out after speaking in person with the manager Miguel Jordan, he authorized my card a credit of three payments consisting of $35.77, $35.77, and $143.08. Again, shortly after leaving the hotel it was discovered these credits were charged as an expense not applied as a credit reimbursement. After multiple conversations with the assistant manager Shelia (mentioned above) I requested to speak with Manager Miguel Jordan. Each attempt to speak with him was met with the same response by the assistant manager that he’s unavailable, off site, on the phone, or in a conference call. The inability to speak with the manager occurred all day on 8/28/17 even after leaving multiple messages and making the request through a third party conference call using customer care. To date manager Miguel Jordan has refused to speak with the customer in person or on phone.
I lost time addressing urgent family matters delaying my travels as a result of the lack of customer concern, customer satisfaction, and unnecessary stress the management staff at this hotel has caused our family in an already difficult time.
Sincerely,
Judith Bellafant-Moore

Let me start off by saying, if there were a scale of 0 – 10, with 0 being the worst and 10 being the best, I would definitely offer the Baymont Inn & Suite, Denver International Airport, in Denver, Colorado a ). This hotel provided me with the worst customer service I have ever received from such a franchise! Upon arriving in Denver from a very late flight from Atlanta, GA, I never would have guessed checking into my hotel would be so difficult. The front desk receptionist, Griselda, stated that she could not find my confirmed booking reservation. After showing her my confirmation, she still stated that she could not check me in because “she could not find it on her system”. I had to call my booking agency several times and request that they email the confirmation to her before she would accept my reservation that I showed her. This process took a minimum of at least 30 minutes. Keep in mind, I traveled from Atlanta, Ga, where there is a 2 hour time difference from the current Denver time of 12:45 am. Also, keep in mind that I had an early morning flight of 9:00 am, Denver time, scheduled and had to be at the airport by 7:30 am. Finally, after receiving the information from the travel agency and checking me in, Griselda NEVER apologized for the inconvenience or her manner of speaking with me, a pre-paying customer. She NEVER showed remorse or offered any type empathy on behalf of the hotel’s confusion with my booking. When I told her that I would not be staying here again, her reply was, “Ok, that’s fine.” When I told her that her customer service was extremely disrespectful and distasteful, she laughed and said, “oh well, that’s your opinion.” I can understand a mix up in communication, but I cannot understand POOR customer service! I will NEVER be back. And I will recommend that others stay far away from this hotel, especially if Griselda is working and still a part of your organization. I also feel that I should receive a FULL refund and some sort of acknowledgement from someone/management who values customers and their money. Griselda is a very POOR representation of what I expected from your establishment.

My husband and I stayed at the Delaware Ohio Baymont March 27, 2017. Our daughter will be attending the Ohio Wesleyan University there in the fall and we thought we found the ideal place to stay when visiting her. When we arrived home we realized that we had left some clothes behind on hangers. I called the Inn and I informed them of what room I was in and the articles that were left. I was told someone would get back to me. A week or so go by no call. I call again. Gave room #, date, description of what was left behind. Was told they have a lot of lost and found that they would check and someone would get back to me. A week or so goes by not call. I call again. This time I wasn’t waiting for a call back, i wanted them to look while I was on the phone. After on hold for a while. The woman says “Yes my belongings are there”, I said great, to please put my name on the items because I was going to be back there because my daughter will be attending the university. This is now sometime in May. Now it’s June, we make reservations for there while my daughter was attending orientation at the college. We get to the hotel – no clothes – no record of my call or description of my belongings. I was upset and the women at the desk said to stop back later. After we were finished with schools functions, we went back to the desk, this time a man was working, he doesn’t have my belongings. I told him I was told that my belongings were there and they were going to put my name on them and hold them till I was back in town. He said the manger would not be in till noon the next day. I told him we had to be back on the road home at that time. I guess at that point he calls the manager and reluctantly brings out a small box of lost and found. What I was missing was a men’s grey sweater, a black and white dress (both on hangers with a white garbage bag over them) and a north face women’s black and grey jacket on a hanger next to them. Well in the lost in found there was my husbands grey sweater and that was all. My belongings were (I would assume secure in the room we stayed till housekeeping got there, and secure in lost in found) at this point i feel “stolen” and the only folks who had access were the staff. They liked the dress and the jacket but were not interested in the men’s sweater. I wore the jacket once and the dress maybe three times. Now we said we would wait and see the manger at noon the next day. “She” said she knew nothing about the situation (no surprise) and assured us that there are several other areas upstairs where lost and found is and would search and get back to us. Well you know the answer to that. NO CALL. I call and asked for the manager, “he” wasn’t in so they put me through to voice mail. I went through the whole thing again on voice mail and state I expected a call back. Well guess – YOU’RE RIGHT – NO CALL. Now my husband calls and talks to this male manager. He seemed to be clueless of what was going on even though I had left him a long message. My husband then handed the phone to me and I described my belongings again and told him this is now theft from their staff since I as told that they had my belongings and one out of the three items was recovered my me in their lost in found. He said he would talk the next day the manager I met with and get back to me. Well it’s been about two weeks again and guess what NO CALL. We had planned to visit this Inn often with with friends and family while our daughter attends school there, now we are filing a small claims with the Delaware courts. As I see all your complaints, i guess it wouldn’t do any good for me to try corporate either. I do know that I did meet a Ohio Wesleyan Networking group here in Cleveland, and am not saying nice things about my experience. My daughter will be attending there for the next 4 years and will I continue to share my experience with other parents/staff and students.

Our initial reservation for a nonsmoking room was altered to a smoking room. We called to make sure it was switched back & were told it was. We arrived & were assigned to a smoking room regardless of being told our reservation had been changed to non-smoking. When we stated we had specifically called and changed our reservation a day prior to arrive, we were told no other rooms were available. My husband & I have asthma, so we said we couldn’t stay and that it really put us in a bad situation as it was late, and other hotels in the area were booked as well.
Then the gal at the front desk spoke up and stated they actually had one non-smoking room left, but that the card lock was broken & management would have to use the master key to let us in and out. We asked if instead we could have a refund for our reservation and were told that the person at the front desk could not authorize a refund without higher management approval. So, with no other options and had pre-paid for two nights, we reluctantly agreed. The person at the front desk explained that they would fix our reservation for the second night and move us to a new room. The staff worked on letting us in with the master key for about 5 minutes until my husband assisted her. After it finally unlocked, we had to budge the door open to get in. She then said that after we closed the door she would lock it from the outside and we could use the chain to lock it from the inside. She then said, when we wanted to leave, to call the front office to be let out, and for them to be able to lock the door behind us. So we did, and then had to jam the door shut and use the chain to lock it.
Once we entered the room, it did look clean, but smelled of mildew and must. We turned the air conditioner on, thinking it would help take the humidity out of the air, and it did, however at the cost of the air conditioning unit sounding what can only be describe as a jet engine with a bunch of bugs getting caught in the fan of it. We turned on the lights and both lamps worked, however the fluorescent ceiling lights flickered, then stayed on, then went of, then continued to flicker, and repeat this pattern the entire time the lights were on. So, we elected to only use the table lamps.
Tired, we wanted to shower and get to bed. The shower was hot, but it didn’t drain. I tried to manipulate the plug to help it drain, but it didn’t help. I basically stood in all of my shower water, and then my husband had to stand not only in his shower water, but mine as well.
Then to bed. We went to bed. About 2 hours later, we woke up, stuck in the middle of a caved in bed. We weren’t sure what was happening, so we got up and took the fitted bottom sheet off, and found that the mattress, was two, old, dirty twin beds pushed together. Tired, and at our wits end, we pushed the beds back together, made the bed, and then each slept on separate sides of the bed so it wouldn’t cave in again.
Morning arrives and we phone the front desk to come and unlock the door. At first, they didn’t know what were were even talking about as the night shift must not have explained to the new shift, our current situation. They let us out and locked the door behind us with the master key and then went for breakfast in Georgetown. We returned after breakfast to get all of our belongings to take with us in our car, as we didn’t trust leaving them in a hotel room with out a proper lock, but we couldn’t find anyone to let us in. Finally, we found a maid that found a staff member and they let us in. At that time, we informed them about the lights, bed, shower, and reminded them that someone was suppose to fix the lock or move us to a different room. We then left with all of our belongings and left our phone number for them to call us with an update.
Later in the day, approximately 5:30pm, we received a phone call from the hotel. We were informed at that time that no new rooms were available and that maintenance was unable to fix the lock. But, they “thought” the other issues were taken care of. Reluctantly, we came back to the hotel later that night and asked the staff to let us in with the master key. We went through the same routine of getting in, the same routine with the lights, the same routine with the bathtub, and had to sleep on the edges of the bed again, so that we wouldn’t fall through the middle.
My husband and I are pretty reasonable people. We don’t like making waves, causing extra work for other people, or have expectations that are lofty. But our stay at your hotel was unacceptable, unwarranted, and an experience that no-one should have to go through. Especially one that Nobody should ever have to pay for. We were lied to on numerous occasions, were denied a refund by front desk staff and told to contact corporate, felt unsafe in our hotel room, were not able to come and go as we pleased without finding someone to let us in our let us out, felt dirty from the standing water in the bathtub, and barely got any sleep due to the noise of the air conditioner, both of us, hugging the sides of the bed so we wouldn’t fall through the middle. Not to mention, slept on dirty mattresses that were stained with who knows what…only covered and held together by a fitted bed sheet.
To say that my husband and I were upset and taken advantage of by your hotel, is an understatement. We are not blaming the specific staff at your hotel for the condition or state of your hotel’s infrastructure of policies; as we know they only work there under the umbrella of your larger corporation. None of them were unkind to us, or unfriendly, but perhaps lacked proper communication among themselves, as well as to higher management, to properly address the barriers we encountered during our stay. As a guest at a hotel, one should feel safe, clean, rested, and bothered. As a paying guest, one should receive the basic services the hotel lists on their webpage or other means of advertising. Otherwise it is misrepresentation and false advertisement.
My husband and I feel it is only right that we at least be refunded and/or compensated for our two nights at your hotel. The total cost of our stay was $275.60.

Good morning, I want to make a complaint because I am outraged because I left yesterday morning a salad in the fridge that I bought at Publix for dinner at night and when I arrived at 10 in the evening bag was not in the fridge. I stayed without eating because my food disappeared.
The elevator and the carpet have smell nauseating.
Simply, my stay was a disaster.

Wow! Considering how many unhappy customers you have, I doubt I will get any resolution.
We experienced the same dirty rooms, things not working, XXXXroaches and ….
being given a key card for a room that still had someone in it. Also …… two people trying to enter our room on two separate nights.
Our vacation was totally ruined by having to stay in this horrible hotel. We had two rooms and our children and grandchildren.

Every year my family travels to Orangeburg SC for an annual 10 day Christian event. In the past we have stayed at the Baymont Inn with little to no problem. This past week has been the worst experience we have ever had. On the second day of our stay, one of the housekeepers enters the room without knocking or announcing herself. Then the following day a charger and a special jar, with my mother’s picture, of cashew nuts were stolen from the room. When we reported the items stolen, management didn’t try to contact the guilty party, and according to them the person just never returned WITHOUT being reprimanded! Nothing was done for us in compensation. About two days later, we leave the room with the towels on the floor assuming the room would be cleaned upon returning a few hours later. The ONLY thing cleaned was the towels off the floor. The trash had not been taken out and the towels had NOT been replenished! This whole week housekeeping would come by around 9:30 and be done by 10 or 10:15. When we reported this to management, we were told, “We send the housekeepers to pick up the towels and then they’ll come back to clean the room.” We didn’t get serviced until about 4 that evening. My last night in the hotel, after I had taken a shower, I pulled a towel to use and there were dirt streaks on my towel! My family will NOT be using the Baymont Inn & Suites @ 3583 St Matthews Rd in Orangeburg SC!

We stayed in Rm#327 on May 22, 2017. In Statesboro, Ga. I have never stayed in a more filthy place in my life. I ended up wiping down counters and the cabinets and door knobs. With a wet wash cloth then took it down to the front desk. Told her room was filet you and I needed more hand towels and wash clothes. I would not shower as the tub had short black hair all over it. ( we have blonde and gray) I’m very shocked that Wyndham has them in their group. Really glad we never bought into the Wyndham group. It was bad in Tennessee they were so pushy would not let us go. I had to get a little nasty. The walls of our room had big globes of plaster to cover holes. The ceiling by the window had toilet paper twisted up and stuck in a hole. It seems that the corporate office would send people out to inspect their hotels. We are hhonors people but they had ball tournaments and some other college things going on. Never again would we stay in any of the Wyndham affiliate hotels. I did take pictures but unable to post here. Oh also the pool was so dirty you would take a chance of catching something from it.

Wow, I can’t believe the comments here. Our 2nd home has been the Baymont Inn in Howell, MI. We are here for work. Driving 5 hours a day was getting old so we decided to hotel it. This is our 4th week here and everything but the holes in the parking lot and satellite when it storms have been amazing. The staff is the best, the rooms are clean, we get fresh towels whenever we ask, the beds are clean, nice and comfy. This is our 3rd room and we have no real complaints about the rooms. This room the jets on the jacuzzi tub don’t all work but not there fault. Been very happy with our stay. We stay 4 days out of the week go home for 3 and we’re back. Been very happy here. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. And we’ve stayed in alot.

After reading such horrible comments I have decided to add my own horrible experience and not even call the corporate office bcuz obviously there’s no reason to contact someone who don’t care!!! We are in Flint Michigan at the Baymont Inn right now and our experience has been just like everyone else’s…..not enuf towels, bugs everywhere, can’t get any honest answers from any of the staff…..everything they tell u is a lie…..so we are here for a funeral and some of our other family members stayed one night here as well….but they left bcuz of the same reasons….we are a long way from home and we don’t have any other choice so I was talking to my nephew who works in corporate government and he has family that works for Fox News…we are currently trying to get an investigation to protect people’s rights about this kind of behaviour….this is disgusting by anybody’s means and not to mention the astronomical cost of such poor quality….I’m considered by all that know me a very nice and considerate person and have never in my entire life had to make such a fuss about staying in a room….I pray that the buck stops here so that other innocent people don’t have to go thru this kind of experience…..and that justice will be done for all!

After checking out from a 5 night stay at the Baymont Inn in Yreka, Ca, we decided to stay another 4 nights. I made a reservation for 4 nights and the hotel charged my card $269 when I checked in. After the first night, we declined maid service. We were informed that anyone stay four nights or more is automatically declined maid service until after the second night anyway. The housekeepers waited until we were out of the hotel for the day and entered our room without permission anyway (violating hotel “policy”). I then received a phone call from the hotel manager stating that I had until 5pm to gather my belongings and leave the property. When I asked why, I was told that I was violating hotel “policy.” Upon investigating, I learned that I was being held accountable for a policy that I was never informed of, was not on the check-in doXXXXent (which I was refused a copy of), and was not posted anywhere in my room. After explaining this to the manager, as well as photographing everything that was in fact posted in the room, I was told by the manager:
“I’m making you leave because I can. I’m allowed to refuse service to anyone for any reason, even if it is a personal bias.”
I was shocked at the unprofessional, discriminating, and rude response that I just packed our things and left the property. I was guaranteed to only be charged for the one night that we had been there since checking in for the 4 night stay. Thinking that I was just going to be refunded the majority of the $269 they had already charged me, I agreed. That’s not what happened. They charged me an additional $68 which made the total charges for that one night $357. After 5 phones calls to the hotel, which all ended with the hotel staff cursing at me, refusing to allow me to explain why I was calling, and yelling that they were not going to talk to me about this, I made a call to Baymont Inn Corporate Customer Care. That phone call consisted of also not being allowed to explain to the full extent the reason why I was calling. It’s now the third day since the charges were made to my card and none of them have been refunded.

TO THE CEO AND ALL THE HIGHER UPS. I HOPE YOU READ THIS.
You should be ashamed of yourselves. Why are you not doing more for your multi billion dollar business? why aren’t you sending corporate people to inspect your properties and train your people better? I would love for you to take your families to the Baymont Inn at
7330 Plantation Rd , Pensacola, FL 32504 US.
Because we arrived the day before easter there were very few other options to choose from in the area. What appeared to be a nice hotel from the outside ended up being such trash. I was appalled. The girl at the desk was my first red flag. She looked like she just left the club and ran late into work. She was miserable. She fought with me about everything and told me no more than once. Anything we asked the desk they said no, no, no. Even when we asked about getting more towels since they only gave us 3 for 3 people for two days… really?
CANT WAIT TILL YOU HEAR LATER ABOUT YOUR OTHER EMPLOYEES BEHAVIOR.
ANYWAYS…
We get to the room and its filthy. Housekeeping only changes the sheets if that. There were bugs and even black olives from someones pizza on our counter! the shower head is dangling out of the shower, theres probably a sink hole under the property cause the tub was about to cave in. AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ABOUT THE MOLD! MOLD EVERYWHERE AND YOU CAN SMELL IT. THE WALLS ARE BUSTED BEHIND THE DOOR AND THERES A MILDEW FARM. nothing in the room worked. NOTHING. there was also a water heater being stored in the room for no reason? the bed was broken and there was a spider infestation it seemed like.
We didn’t get much sleep ill tell you that much.
I spent more time cleaning that room, so we could sleep.
YOU SHOULD HAVE PAID ME $140 TO STAY HERE.
IM DISGUSTED. the worst part is that i have a five year old that had to suffer through this. The only reason we got a smoking room is because WE WERE FORCED TO. THERE WASNT ANYTHING ELSE AVAILABLE.
we asked for a cot for my son, they told me no and laughed and said “whats a cot anyways ahaha”.
Maybe you should make your franchisees hire more educated people, someone with class and managers with managerial skills.
maybe youre too busy rolling in money to give a sh*t.. but all of the Wyndam owned hotels are SH*T. This makes you look soooooooo bad, this gives your hotels a bad name. THIS IS NOT THE ONLY HOTEL THAT SUCKS THEY ALL PRETTY MUCH DO.
How could you not want the best for your name?
try getting on your websites and reading the reviews yourselves.
HERES WHERE IT GETS GOOD.
One guy says yes we have a grace period till 12:30
great for me and my family we had a long easter…
10:47am the next morning.. obnoxious knocking, open the door two males wearing tank tops and snap backs claim they are housekeeping? because they had a clipboard i believed them i guess.. anyways they said they would come later, and to have a good day.
11:50am knocking again some girl with blue scrubs, housekeeping.
i told the girl we had till 12:30 she popped her lips and said “uh no, you need to go up front or get out” so my boyfriend goes upfront to get towels and check on the late check out and the girl running the desk, her name was
STEPHANIE (BLACK FEMALE)
7330 Plantation Rd , Pensacola, FL 32504 US
1-850-466-2010
tells him we need to give her 10 dollars and we need to get out?
most other hotels will accept a 20$ late check out fee till 3pm. He told her no thank you we will be leaving in 30 minutes at 12:30 and she said “you need to get out now, you cant have any towels sir”… so i call to talk to the “Manager” whos in a “meeting”
ID LOVE TO KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE MEETINGS ABOUT BECAUSE THE HOTEL IS SO POORLY RAN.
One thing led to another as i was talking to her and she ended up hanging up on me and when id call back she would put me on hold and to remain on hold till id hang up. So we got our belongings and we left 5 min later so we didn’t have to deal with these people any more.
Then i realize i don’t have my phone and i had left it in the room… so we call them from my boyfriends phone.. keep in mind the hotel was the last place i used my phone literally seconds before leaving. Telling them we were room 111 they replied “no ones turned it in and we will look again later” we called several more times and they said they didn’t know who cleaned the room and they hadn’t seen a phone. LIES
this hotel is notorious for its drugs and prostitution come to find out, it doesn’t surprise me from the looks of the people they hired to run it.
not only did i literally get highway robbed from this disgusting hotel because of its outrageous rates for such poor poor poor quality service but my phone was also stolen!
way to go.
They make a show about these kinds of things called Undercover Boss you should really look into it. Maybe get out and do more for the people who are relying on your Wyndam name.
Nevertheless you were not responsible and I’m sorry if ive been ugly but I’m at a loss of any nice words. The customer service is sh*t and no one is doing anything about it and i cant stand for that!
It cost nothing to be nice to people and it wouldn’t hurt anyone to offer a refund.
I work at a restaurant for god sake and when something goes wrong (which isn’t often cause i know how to do my job) i do anything to make it up to them!

COMPLAINT,
Thursay, March 9, we traveled to Jonesboro Ar. due to death in family. We traveled most of afternoon to reach our location. We began looking up motel suites and found Baymont Inn 2910 Kazi St. Traveling in our 3 person group was a need for a handicap room.
Front desk wasn’t bubbly and excited to assist us but she did give us a handicap room (one of 2) we requested two queen beds she said okay.
Unpacking car we loaded the cart and went to the room to find ONLY ONE BED. Returning to desk she viewed computer screen and said “you are wrong there are two beds in room”. we asked for another room, she gave us another key and after moving cart to this room, we opened door to see two beds and, ONE BED HAD SOMEONES AGGRESSIVE MOVEMENT ON COMFORTER…BED APPEARED PLAYED ON NOT MADE, NOT EVEN CLOSE. Returning to front desk we were road weary said just give us a room with two beds….3rd room …shower head was coming out of wall…tub had hair in it and on floor…so tired we accepted it.
Next morning trying to speak to Mgr…they were not there…second and on third day placing a call to Mgr. unable to speak to them 3rd day was disconnected by hotel person
We have always enjoyed our stay with your brand on past travels….NOT ANYMORE !!

I am recently stay at Baymont Inn on zebulon rd. My experience here has been the worst. Dirty room and nasty bathroom and the refrigerator doesn’t work. There was no phone inside the room. The heater didn’t work and roaches coming out no where. On the first day I ask for a refund because I noticed all of that the first day. I thought breakfast was included but the manager informed me that I can’t have breakfast. So now I am still here because I spent my very last to have a horrible stay in this dirty hotel. He also didn’t hand me the key like he did for the customer in front of me he had to take me to my room. Acting like I’m not welcome if I wasn’t welcome why did he get my money.
