Eastbay.Com was founded by Richard Gering and Art Juedes in 1980. The pair sold discount shoes, but found that they mostly sold athletic shoes. In 1983, they set up a catalog that was strictly athletic shoes, running shoes, and other sports shoes. Within 3 years, they had so many orders, they had to hire phone operators and by 1990, the warehouse, call center, and shipping deparment took up an entire city block.
Today, Eastbay.Com is operated by Foot Locker, Inc., who purchased the company in 2001.
Eastbay.Com also sells their own brand of athletic clothing, including jackets, hats, underwear, pants, shorts, socks, and tops. The company has 3,000 full time employees. The company also sells athletic equipment, such as balls, bats, gloves, braces, goggles, and, headbands and helmets.
The company maintains a corporate office in Wausau, Wisconsin.

I ordered some Deadstock shoes, filled out all my addresses and now they are returned the item back to sender without letting me down or holding for one day. ITS NOT MY FAULT THE ADDRESS WAS MISSING. I Asked if they could.ship the shoes back to me they said no. NOW I HAVE TO PAY an extra 50 to get these same shoes because they don’t want to ship it.back after I already paid for them. I mean what else are you going to do with these shoes when their mine. THIS is sad. A mistake I didn’t make I fall victim. Anyways I can get my shoes after you guys receive it. This is not the first time this has happened before.

Sent them an item for size exchange and they never sent anything back. They said because I did not include the order number they will not honor it, but also do not return the item sent. It’s been over a month. Customer service is a joke. I’m pretty sure they’re contracting them from another country as they barely speak English and will not patch you through to the Returns dept or someone that speaks English. I’ve filed a report on Better Business Bureau which they’ve also ignored.

I ordered from Eastbay often!! I ordered an ecard on 2/13 and today is the 19th and still no ecard! showing delivered but it’s not. Customer Service hold time is over 30 minutes. My refund is now going to take an additional 7 days!! this makes zero sense! I am so angry and I asked the customer service supervisor for her name and corp headquarters number and she said have a nice day and hung up!!
DON”T ORDER ANYTHING!!!!

On 12/10/18 I ordered Jordan shoes and Jordan tee-shirt for my son. Well I received the tee-shirt and not the shoes I’ve been calling and calling Eastbay to find out what happened to the shoes? But, no one ever answers the phone. Finally on 12/16/18 I received an email informing me that my order has been cancelled #5990732 do to product inventory. Yet I haven’t received a refund for the $84 they deducted out of my account for the shoes. I have been calling and calling (No Answer) writing, complaining, emailing to no avail I simply just want my $84 dollars back why is that so hard? I paid for a product you no longer have. So why is it so hard getting my money back? I’ve been a loyal customers for awhile now and never had a bad experience until now. I’m at my wits end with this whole situation and I’m about to take this up with the BBB!!!

Eastbay is really going down hill with it’s customer service, on the phone for an hour waiting for someone to pick on Friday and here I am again Monday on hold for 30 minutes and when I get someone they blame me.
