goPuff was founded by two Drexel University students, Yakir Gola and Rafael Ilishayev, who had originally wanted to create an on-demand delivery service of hooka products but expanded when the pair realized they were receiving more requests for other products.
In 2016, the company raised $8.25 million in Series A funding and in $750 million from SoftBank, which committed itself up to an additional $250 million.
goPuff mainly delivers from a list of 3,000 items that are typically found in convenience stores, such as snacks, drinks, toiletries.
In 2015, the company launched goBeer, which delivers as much as a 12 pack of beer, and in 2016, another app appropriately called goBooze, which delivers hard liquor.
The company has put all of these brands under one umbrella called GoBrands.
goPuff delivers 24/7/365, which means that customers don’t need to get out of bed on a Sunday morning to fetch toilet paper. There is a flat delivery fee of $1.95 and no charge for orders over $49.
Many companies see goPuff as being the industry leader in delivery service and liken it to Amazon in progressive business thinking.
goPuff now owns warehouses that stock many of the common items that customers ask for, eliminating the middleman and creating an instant profit.
goPuff maintains its corporate office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Business Ethics… Ha! They say smoking weed kills brain cells. Need more proof!
The lead person does all the managers work because he collects a high paying salary to sit at home and make dinner for his kids. Go puff terminated the lead position. Now there’s no brain cells left there. Do these two guys who started this business even have a clue about how their company’s treating the people that run it for them? I’m a customer service manager and I can say, yep, they do! Sorry guys some people just want their profit for as long as they can get it. It’s common, they don’t care about you.

I’m a partner driver. They don’t pay me two weeks. The first two direct deposit with no problem . I’m tired of send emails at the beginning they respond with bla bla apologies and now nothing. They don’t have a phone number to talk to somebody who can help. They are simple burglar. They don’t want to pay simple and their business are falling apart. I’m going to sue. Without the driver they’re nothing.
Lisa Eaker says
Exactly this company is sh*t they keep knocking drivers pay down took away subsidized pay and changed weekly bonus to almost nothing this company needs to be outed

When is corporate management going to do something regarding the B/S going on in the New Brunswick warehouse. Drivers being intentionally bypass continuously.? I know because I’m one of them. When is gopuff going to invest in a drivers queuing system that could eliminate drivers being bypassed intentionally or otherwise.I’m sure I’m not the only driver experiencing this but I’m starting to feel as though I’m being intentionally being bypassed for whatever reasons. I need a response regarding this and many other issues that should not be plaguing this site and your manager knows very well what I mean. I enjoy working but not under these conditions. It hasn’t dawned on any of you why there’s such a high turnover among the drivers .I here only 6 months and yet I’m like one of the senior drivers .

San Antonio 144 is one of the worse gopuffs to work at. The Shift Lead does not communicate to the night crew. I’d you’re not one of her day crew you won’t know what is going on. They’ll expect you to know what is going on but she won’t tell you. It’s like pulling teeth just to have her pass information along to the night crew. And they have slack I guess her fingers can’t work from her flipping the bird to the night crew.

How is someone a manager and always coddles the biggest problem person on the team. He overstaffed us calling drivers from other stations to work when we didnt need them. Hes barely in the office and does absolutely nothing when hes there but hide in a side office. He doesnt help anyone but one person and he is a discriminatory person because all he wants to hire for the OA position is lesbian females. And they ALL wear spandex shorts while working. Cant tell me has not checking them out while they work. He needs to be removed as manager because he has no clue how to run a business.

Why did you let that management team mentally abuse me because I’m already mentally disabled at the cottman warehouse
