Paramount Pictures was founded in 1912 as the Famous Players Film Company by Hungarian-born Adolph Zukor. It is the fifth-oldest surviving film studio in the world.

Zukor’s idea was to offer feature-length films featuring the leading theatrical players of the time and appeal to the middle class.

At the same time Jesse L. Lasky opened the Lasky Feature Play Company.

Beginning in 1914, both Lasky and Famous Players released their films through a start-up company, Paramount Pictures Corporation, which had been organized earlier that year by theater owner W.W. Hodkinson.

In 1916 Zukor arranged a three way merger of his Famous Players, the Lasky Company, and Paramount.

Zukor was the driving force behind Paramount, and he signed and developed many of the leading early stars.

Paramount nearly collapsed during the Depression, but was reorganized and brought out from bankruptcy in 1936.

Paramount cartoons were successful in the 1930’s such as Betty Boop and Popeye the Sailor.

In the 1960’s Paramount’s aging leadership could not keep up with the times and the company’s future was in doubt. The company was sold to Gulf + Western Industries Corporation, which was able to revive it and produce such hits as The Odd Couple, Love Story, and The Godfather.

Today Paramount Pictures Corporation is a film and television production/distribution studio which is consistently ranked as one of the top-grossing film studios. The studio’s most commercially successful films include Shrek, Transformers, Mission: Impossible, Friday the 13th, and G.I. Joe.

Paramount is a subsidiary of Viacom.

    Hello-

We are a small gear rental company based in Buffalo, NY.
We recently rented out equipment for Paranormal Activity 7- Black Snow that shot at Buffalo Film Works
We are owed several payments that are very late as of now.

The accountant and prop master that were hired have been avoiding us.
We have proof that they have received the invoices several times, and still decided to ignore the payment.

Please contact me back so we can resolve this and pay the local vendors and employees who depend on this.

    hello
my team are looking to use full audio from lost or forgotten films in a viewers commentary
podcast (we watch and give insights) in the hopes to promote the films we loved as kids to a new generation, we are mainly going to use action films from the 70s and 80s. The idea is that people watch the film along with the audio of the podcast and we provide them with the platform they can rent the film from and information about the film and our take on it. in a nutshell funny and educational watch along podcast. we are hoping you can help us understand any copyright issues? and provide us with a list of film you’d be happy for us to use in our project

Odell Collins Jr. With all actors due and adults demanding recognition.by ordering someone to walk back and forwards. And so it is with film productions to watched. I love Jennifer Lopez also. The clientele is deception but a marvel of well being. With all of the laughter running throughout every house whole. And so life has a better statement on every menu on a daily bases. Beginning with every film production we can again.

As you may have seen, the Trump administration’s new “Space Force” had developed a logo which looks somewhat similar to Star Trek’s “Starfleet Command” insignia. Would this be considered a copyright infringement of Paramount Picture’s trademark property? I’m not an expert on copyright law, but I do know that when someone steals someone else’s idea, that could be illegal. I thought I’d bring that to your attention.

I know you are not interested much in a story however my grandfather wrote out a story. It is a story of some original freemasons that came from England and the trials and tribulations of daily living in the great depression of America. To this day, the men in this family are still, and always will be descendants of the original freemasons to this day.

    Dear: Paramount Pictures,

Please find a short pitch below about a true story of thieves, gamblers and the everyday retail record business during the ‘70s and ‘80s in Manhattan.

    Title: My Sharona (Optional)

    Genre: Comedy/Drama

Log Line: A True New York story of music, a retail record store, the record business during the 70s and 80s. Dearr Sir,
This screenplaty “Once Upon a Time in Beverly Hills” will make Eddie Murphy wish that he or his screenwriters would have thought of this approach to a continuation of a blockbuster movie that is a classic.and a moneymaker. I will “Cut to the Chase.”This entails the taking of Mistaken Identity as a hastage and an attempt to rectfy the situation.

Having been born, bred and found my queen in Queens, NY, I have a lot in common with Prince Akeem who came to Queens, NY to find his queen in “Coming to America” circa 1988. I spent an enourmous amount of time on the corner of Queens Boulevard and Woodhaven Boulevard, which is the location of “McDowalls” hamburger joint. I also traveled the IND Subway E and F Trains from Sutfin Boulevard Subway Station.to work

My previous backround during the earlier years of my life gave me the inspiration to compose a sequal to Eddie Murphy’s rendition of a great movie. In my screenplay entitled, “Once Upon aTime in Beverly Hills,” Prince Akeem grants Princess Lisa her most desirous wish, which is a shopping expedition to the fashion capitol of the world namely Rodeo Drive. While attending a Los Angelas Dodgers baseball game, who originally was sequested in the borough of Brooklyn, was abducted by the Beverly Hills Mafia by mistake.
The culprits assumed that this, in reality, was the infamous detective Axel Foley of Beverly Hills Cop fame. This sets the stage for an action packed saga, whereby, the plot is set for a transfer of leading characters who are transferred via a nerve racking chase involving gangsters, police and numerous law enforcement agencies. This scenario will guarantee that you will never lose interest in the plot and guarantees that you will sit at the edge of your seat awaiting the termination of this Keystone Cop Persuit. I strongly assure that you will be greatly entertained during the entire production of Eddie Murphy’s portrayal of his most famous roles within todays movies. Your consideration will be greatly appreciated.

    To Whom it May Concern,

My name is Mr. Jack D. White, I am writing this brief request for your comments and advise. I have written a script base on the original Star Trek episode, The Doomsday Machine. It would be a good ideal to have Denzel Washington to play the role of Commodore Matt Decker. It will be good to have Denzel Washington and Chris Pine once again working together in the movies. Also, to have a big name movie start playing in a Star Trek movie. This would be BIG FOR ALL THOSE WHO LOVE STAR TREK! Thank you, let me know what you think.

    Sincerely
    Jack D. White
