to me
I have been a propane customer of Southern States in Owenton, KY for many years and have been pleased with their service.
However, recently I bought a used stove for $800.00 September 19th from one of your personnel employed in this store. He also had the staff send me a bill for $75.00 for installation. The stove was returned shortly after I found out that it did not work properly The only way it would light is if I turned it up to high, but then when turned down to low the flame would go out. I am a 90 year old woman, who lives alone and cannot be bothered with equipment that does not work properly. I believe personnel from the store were the ones who returned the stove to him.
I have asked repeatedly for him to return the $800.and there is a promise to do so, but it has not happened. Just promises that never happen. It has been two months waiting – I feel I have been very patient with him.
At this point I am beginning to have a fear of this man. This is not normal behavior – I believe he thinks the money belongs to him and he has no intention of returning it. I wonder what he will think if he is pressured into returning it. Of course, he will know who is behind the pressure.
If I take him to small claims the cost would be close to $200. which I feel is too much. I need the $800 to buy a new stove and am asking you to help me.
His name is Ronnie Riddle. The phone number he gave is actually the store’s number – 502 398 3024.

Earlier I had written a complaint about your Johnston SC store manager, I want you and everyone in your organization to know that this is strictly my opinion and not something that is backed up by evidence. I understand that everyone is entitled to an opinion and this is my opinion that I have stated to you, However, in my opinion , because of rumors, you should look into this matter and the way your manager is treating customers. I just wanted to let you know what is being said and it is not my intent to cause problems or hurt anyone especially your store or its employees! Contact me if you need additional information!

I have a complaint about your Johnston SC store manager. He is hurting your business and is double dealing with his friends
An example is the concrete he bought for the addition at the store. He could have gotten it 10% cheaper, yet he dealt with a friend that gave him a kickback. He also is hurting your business with customers! I would bet your business is down ! We farmers are talking about it. You need to do something about him. His name is Roman W.

I am writing to complain about the amount of noise from you store in Winchester, VA. I own a home adjacent to your property and there is constant noise coming from forklifts, trucks left idling for hours, a super loud “trailer shaker”, and falling lumber. The majority of the noise comes from the back lot where fence posts and lumber are stored. I have been forced to listen to and feel in the floor of my home, a large piece of machinery that is left to sit and idle for hours on end, day after day. The noise starts early in the morning and continues throughout the day. I would think you would strive to be a good neighbor to the residents that must live next to your property, but it seems as if no one from your company really cares. There is also trash and litter that collects in the corners of your lot and is never cleaned up. It is a constant eyesore. I would appreciate it if someone from your company would address these issues and try to keep the level of noise down to provide a decent quality of life for your neighbors. I specifically see no reason to let large trucks and pieces of equipment sit and idle while wasting fuel for hours and hours. If your company is not willing to try and remedy this problem, I will be forced to look for other avenues of solution.
