I am having a not feeling to good day today but i stop in the Angleton store on Cannon drive and got an order of gizzards and some fries. The meal was dang good and the girl working the counter was very nice. She said the fish was very good so ill be trying it next time i visit. I feel the need to express my opinion that’s felt by many people who dine in your establishment. The prices are ridiculously high. This is my opinion on your price of your chicken it’s higher than giraffe p_ __y. Churches and Kentucky fried chicken restaurants has closed leaving you the only ready to eat fried chicken restaurant in our town. Two people dining there costs them over $25 for chicken. $25 for chicken really that’s plain awful. Your restaurant here dont even offer any type of meal deals to help any family or anyone else. Thats just ol criminal. I thought that I was making a big deal out of it until I overheard a white person complain about the prices. Times are getting hard I mean have gotten hard to where you have to decide to drive or eat after paying for our home and other cost of living expenses. Is it possible for you restaurant establishment to have a little heart for the people who’s eating out of your restaurant. Would it hurt if you would present your customers with a deal meal and or coupons to help with the sting that has come with the recent increase of the cost of living.

Well, this isn’t a reply to anything, but I don’t see anywhere else to post a complaint (including the “Email Chicken Express” link above), so I guess this is the place. I went to the Berry St. store in Fort Worth today to use a Groupon I had bought, which was good only at that location. Sadly, I lost my cool a bit with the manager (for which I have apologized) after being informed that I could ONLY redeem it from the Groupon app; they DO NOT accept print. Not having a high-end phone with lots of extra memory, I do not need any more stupid apps on it than I can avoid, but I was fortunately able to download the app and get the deal, after which I immediately deleted it. Now, when I looked closer at the printed Groupon, I did see where it said that redeeming with the app is “preferred” and that printed versions “may not” be processable. OK, so I can’t strictly say that I wasn’t warned, but “preferred” and “may not” are a LONG WAY from “just flat won’t honor”. When something is a sure thing, you will never make any friends by soft-pedaling the matter. IF YOU WON’T TAKE A PRINTED GROUPON, SAY SO!!! The manager and the food, however, were excellent.

COVID CONTRACTED BY EMPLOYEES IN BAY CITY , TEXAS AND THE OWNERS AND MANAGERS STILL WANT THEM TO WORK

We are extremely concerned and confused as to why an employee was sent home because they tested positive for covid but no one else was tested or why there were no safety measures taken?? Lane did not care that someone else called in to say they were sick and this person was going to get tested for covid and all Lane did was fire that person!! Whats more insane is that Lane told that person he/she needed to get to work because he/she was going to work the register and he/she said no because they were seriously sick and needed to get tested and thats when that person was fired!! He/she physically went to speak with Lane while sick so that Lane can see the person was sick and Lane started arguing with that person and jamming his finger into the persons chest like taunting him to fight!!! And when complaints were made to the owners and they told the owners to check the cameras because it was all recorded, the owners said they would not check the footage because Lane wouldn’t do that!! The evidence is there and they don’t give a f**k!!!!! How does a person like that get a manager position!? A manager is supposed to care about the safety of their employees and customers especially during this pandemic!!
I know Lane does not care about his employees because he would threaten to write up and/or fire an employee that has epilepsy when that person had seizures. The ex-employee would let Lane know they had a seizure that day and Lane would not let that person get back to work without a doctors excuse. That person has maybe one seizure a month. They take medication but do not need to go to the doctors every time they have one. Doctors visits and e.r visits are not cheap and is expensive with no insurance. Lane knows that and still did not give a sh**!!!
They all just want to make their money and they don’t care who gets sick!! They all dont care about their employees or customers!!

I went to the location in benbrook and the pass two times I’ve gone they had our order wrong. Tonight I went and I waited forever for my order through the drive thru which I get it if they are having cook something or what not. But no one came to the window to apologize for the wait or let me know it will be awhile. When they gave me my food no apology still for for wait and they gave me regular chicken instead of spicy. Such poor customer service and lack of paying attention. The other time we ordered fries with our food and didn’t recieve it.

I went to the Chicken Express off 75 in Dallas. After spending $30 I received chicken that was old and partially cooked. This is ridiculous!! We ended up throwing our meals away!! I will never ever go to chicken Express again and I will definitely post the pictures that I have on social media! I will also send contact Corporate!!! I WAS A CHICKEN EXPRESS FAN!

This week alone I went to the Chicken Express (Denison Tx) 3 times. The first I ordered 2 meals for my son and myself. Order was completely wrong and I waited for a good 20 min before getting to the pick up window. Next I order just one meal that my son and I split, the lady at the window gave me my drinks but left the food on the counter, I waited about 8 min before I was able to flag someone down in the window to say she gave me my drinks but not my food.
Today 4/2/21 I ordered small order of cheese sticks a corn on the cob and 2 large drinks. After taken my money order placed at 4:45- order finally given at 4:58. They started to hand me a very large sack of a lot of food…was not my order. When she handed me my order it looked like it had been sitting on the counter by the register for a while, cold cheese stick and ConC. I had also ordered 2 lg drinks and she handed me 2 medium.
This is an easy place to frequent for me but over the last month March-April it has been horrible service and I am not the first to say anything

Sad, we loved Chicken Express ever since our first visit years ago. The last few visits to the Bulverde/Spring Branch location have been very disappointing. Orders wrong. We always take ours home. We get the chicken breasts. I am positive they have started cutting strips off the breast for tenders, double coating the breasts and serving them. The breaking point was our visit last week. One breast didn’t even have enough meat on it to eat, just breading. I emailed the location and as expected I received no reply. There is competition within 2 blocks, so they better be careful. Corporate doesn’t make it easy to contact either. Disappointing work ethic from a Texas company.

The Denison night shift 8s so ghetto. It is really disgusting. Always outside smoking, cussing , smoking pot, blasting rap music in small silver car so loud. The cook is taking like 40 pieces of chicken home each night. For over 9 months now. I don’t see how they stay in business.

I see that none of these complaints have a reply I went to chicken express in Shawnee Oklahoma food was lousy strips had been cook for hours chicken the biscuit crumbled in your hands and when I complain the manager told me oh well bring it back and I said well It is a 25 mile round-trip and gas is four dollars a gallon so replace my meal next time I’m in town I don’t get into town that often and she said no she couldn’t do that and I said I’m gonna call corporate she said well go ahead we don’t have a corporate just blatantly rude next time I’ll go to KFC , Chick-fil-A Or Popeyes !! 2/19/2021: I requested this because two weeks ago, to date listed, my family and I went there to get some sweet teas. While we waited, we witnessed a server carrying drinks to the vehicle ahead of us. The server must have known the people. While taking the money, their dog licked him on his HAND, FACE, and MASK, which was very unsanitary. This same server came to our vehicle with our drinks. I asked him to carry the drinks back because my family and I saw him getting licked on his hand, face, and mask. His response was, “I sanitized my hands.” Then my response was, but Sir, the dog, also licked you on your face and mask. We are in the middle of a pandemic of COVID. He returned to the store, and another server bought our drinks. I called the manager and told him about this incident. He said he would talk to the young man. I said someone could have a video of this young man getting licked in the face, hand, and mask. I told the manager this could be “bad” for your business. The manager never offered any courtesy of reimbursement of money or anything.
3/2/2021: Today, I went to the Chicken Express in Mount Pleasant, Texas, and thought I would try it again. I placed my order at the speaker and requested to pay and get my drink at the window due to my two weeks ago. The same server came to my vehicle to bring me my drink. I said I requested to pay my order and receive my drink at the window. When the server returned to the store, the manager or owner came out and asked if there was a problem. I said I requested to pay my order and receive my drink at the window. The older man (manager or owner) replied, we do this to keep our drive-thru moving. I told him I understood, but I witness two weeks a server being licked on the HAND, FACE, and MASK. I also said, “Sir, we are in a pandemic.” That is not sanitary. He said he agreed. Then the manager or owner said, “Well, we will do this for this time, but if you don’t like how we run our business, then you can go somewhere else. My response was, “Thank you and Have a good one!” I politely drove out of line without paying. This doesn’t seem right and should not be tolerated. We are customers, and we should be valued as such. This person would not accept this behavior from another restaurant. Thank you!

I visited your restaurant on Wichita in Forest Hills today I received everything cold and my chicken strips were the size of a thumb. I contacted the restaurant after I made back to my destination and spoke with a young lady by the name of Mercedes. She asked me could I bring it back i explained to her that I work from home and i will not be able to. She explained to me the manager Victoria would want me to save the food and bring it back another day. I explained to her that no one is going to save some food to bring back the next day and tomorrow is Christmas Eve and I’m going out of town. I then asked her will the manager be in tomorrow she said yes. I know some people be trying to get free food but this is not the case. I just want what I paid for and this is not what I paid for.

Just found out that the corporate office is closing the location in Hico, TX. This is very upsetting due to the jobs being lost in a small town. The closest Chicken Express is now around 30 miles away. This is really going to hurt this small town.

I bought a the VIP bundle three weeks ago and we were not able to eat the chicken, It tasted like it had been in brine water for days. We were both sick after just a few bites. I called the store and they did not seem too concerned. Last night (since we love Chicken Express) we decided to try again. The chicken was not as salty but again made us both sick, my husband was sick the entire night. We will not try it again.

We experienced the worse service at the Little Elm, TX location. I been there several times and NEVER experienced this. First off, when we arrived to place our order at the Drive Thru, the lady would tell us they are about to close, we are like okay we still want to place an order. When we placed orders and she told me there are no more hot wings, I was like ok, do you have regular wings? She said yes, but only 4, we said let’s go with that. Then we asked for mash potatoes as a side and she said they are out of that, and to let us know the person in front of us ordered all the rolls so no rolls, EVENTHOUGH each combo includes a roll. Didn’t get no compensation to say well since no roll, you can get this. We continued to order, in between all this the lady seemed irritated like we are about to close soon and the person in front of you ordered 50 tenders, at that point I told my husband let’s go elsewhere BUT since she wanted to be irritated, acting nervous and upset due to closing is coming up and they have all these orders. So my husband continued to place his order and said no we not going because she can’t do her job. We get to the window after our order of $40! The man who was at the door took our money then told us no rolls and he was speaking all nervous. He said can you pull to the front for your food eventhough no one was behind us and they already have like 3 cars waiting in the front for their food. My husband told them look no one is behind us and I want to be sure my order is correct. The lady (found out she’s the manager) talking loud and upset again stated they need to move to the front. He repeated what she said and my husband still didn’t understand why? So we moved, got to thinking about it this is all weird and felt service is just horrible and rude so we want them to cancel and just give our money back if it’s that bad for you to take care of us in the correct manner. The guy wasn’t sure if he could refund us and went back in to ask the manager. He came back out and said we can’t get a refund. ?????????? What the What? I never heard that before. We got our food 20 mins later, and they turned all the lights off so we can’t even see at this point to check our food but they act like they wanted us to leave without checking our food first. My husband told the manager your service is horrible and if you can’t handle this job you need to find a new profession. She told us she is already looking so who cares. That right there is HORRRIBLE service and I WOULD NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER try ANY LOCATION for Chicken Express EVER. I feel a full refund should be sent my way. This is just terrible I mean even Mc Donalds or most places would KNOW their busiest times of the day to have extra food ready for the next person and on top of that at LEAST apologize if they do not have anything. On April 4, 2020 about 7:20 pm we ordered 2 fish dinners in the drive thru in a Kingsville, Texas. As we waited at the window for our order we noticed no one in the entire store was wearing gloves. When we paid we asked the employee at the window why no gloves were being used by the employees serving. We asked to talk to the manager and she told us that the owner said that washing hands was better than wearing gloves. When we initially drove up to the window we saw one of the employees on the food service line putting something in her mouth, which turned out to be the manager and then served us our food all with no gloves. We watched an employee with long fingernails and several rings put our fish fillets in boxes with NO gloves or tongs! We are experiencing a pandemic….. I don’t believe this is the way a restaurant should be run.

I know this this Coronavirus disaster my emails and subscriptions of several stores – Kroger, bed bath and beyond, Sams, etc we have received emails as customers that they are taking 110% safety, germ free, initiative to providing the upmost cleanest and hygienic necessities to maintain a breathable and Coronavirus free environment! What is Chicken express doing? I came through the drive through earlier this week (Azle/Lake worth Tx location) for my stomach to turn as I was in complete despair when my eyes came across an employee BATTERING TRNDERS/CHICKEN with bare free hands!! What type of facility neglects precaution and health of the public? Is there proper training provided? Does this facility not offer it appropriate or FIT to wear GLOVES? I can’t believe we have this pandemic and there are still individuals who neglect the fact that many people are dying because of this virus. I understand health conditions, situations, age, medical history has a lot to do with it) but so does preventative precaution. I ask that you please have your staff retrained on providing clean, consistent, germ free, sanitary cooking procedures and take 110% measures to doing so. This is unacceptable to a fast food restaurant. It doesn’t take but one second to slip on gloves.

Your restaurants need to train its managers how not to discriminate against its own employees. They recently were in the news for forcing an employee to take off her hajib, then sending her home when she wouldn’t. Way to go Chicken Express! Why don’t your managers go back to school and study the US constitution, specifically the parts about religious freedom in this country. Hi, this must be a hiring requirement for mangers. I have never experience such obvious discrimination against people like I have seen at the location in Grand Prairie, TX. I am going to look into it a little bit more however when the night shift only allows one person to wash the dishes, mop the floor, and take out the trash while the other employees stand around and chat…there is a problem. I watched through the window for about one hour while the young African American male did all the chores and the two Caucasian stood and played on phone and talked with each other. I entered the store at 1045 pm because my son, by the way who is 16 years old, had school in the morning and they did not bother to help him finish so that he could get done at a reasonable time. I am still looking into the state law for working at 16 years old and plan to do a formal complaint against this location. That night taught me a lot and for young children that are ready to test the working life and attend school should not be treated as slaves because of their age or racial background. This occurred for 2 more night and finally I was forced to make my son quit. Working until 11 pm and going to school at 6:00 a.m. is a task and the staff did not even attempt to get him out of there at a decent time. Instead I was told that night shift only has one person to do the cleaning. Yes, my son likes to do a good job so he takes his time but with no help. I went in to discuss this matter prior to submitting his 2 week notice and got no where….however according to the important employee policies it reads and I quote, “After a RUSH is over EVERYONE works to clean, restock and take the trash out before the next rush begins.” end quote”.
This has been an eye opener for me and I am almost afraid to let my son enter the work force if this is how they are running businesses.

I went to the chicken Express location in Abilene Tx on Judge Ely yesterday and let me tell you, I waited for my food for over 30 minutes. I understand they were busy however they weren’t busy making other orders they busy on their cell phones. Until a VERY NICE Hispanic lady who works there came in and started taking over. She went from taking orders to bringing orders out to cleaning the establishment. One heck of an employee. She smiled and greeted everyone in the building and made the wait for the food worth waiting for. Other two woman were just hateful and rude while on their phones. Sorry not sorry.

I went to the Huntsville Location on 4/24/2020 and I have never been treated so rudely by a manager no less. I was at a wrestling tournament this past weekend in Arlington. Several of us went into Chicken Express and ate and walked across the street to the tournament. There was no parking available at the school parking lot. We were notified that Chicken Express was towing cars. Several of us went out to relocate our vehicles only to find out that they were already towed. They towed the vehicles, then notified the school. Now there is a sign there that we did not see due to it is on the opposite side of the store where we parked. Our fault. One customer came out and the towing company had his vehicle loaded up and before they would drop it he had to pay $125.00. It cost me $300.00 to get my vehicle out that was not towed for less than 30 minutes. Also, where we parked, it did not impede any customers from entering the store. In fact there were several parking spots available directly in front of the store. When I went into to discuss with the manager, he would not come up front. In fact, he sent a cashier about 16-17 yrs old. Now that’s a leader! During my conversation with the towing company (a worker), he stated that Chicken Express regularly does this to students going to games at the gym. He even feels sorry for the kids because how many high school kids can afford $300.00 to get a vehicle out. That’s just wrong. Taking advantage of kids going to support their fellow students to find out it cost them over $300.00 due to a sign is on the other side of the store and not very visible. I used Chicken Express regularly to cater my group/workers for team building. I WILL NEVER USE CHICKEN EXPRESS AGAIN.

This was the worst drive thru service I have ever experienced. Out of 3 orders not one was right.
1st order was chicken tenders. I’m not sure I would have even considered them strips. They were more like nuggets and there were no mashed potatoes just gravy. The 2nd order 2piece chicken combo. The grease poured off the leg and again gravy with no mashed potatoes. 3rd order was suppose to be livers but it was gizzards and again gravy with no potatoes. We ordered 2 extra potatoes with no gravy. One was potatoes and gravy, the other was just gravy. We live 15 miles away from the restaurant so pretty much paid $27 with nothing to eat. Oh and I did look in the bag and all the containers had the sticker on them that said MP so you’d think someone would have put potatoes in them before putting that sticker on. My husband did call the restaurant and they could basically care less so we will never eat at this restaurant again and I will share this with friends and relatives.

We have enjoyed Chicken Express, in Sulphur Springs, ever since they opened here. After the orders yesterday and the service we will NEVER go back. The girl that was taking the drive- thru orders was ignorant, talked so fast she was not understandable, and she was TOTALLY RUDE!!!
When we got our chicken home the coleslaw lid on one order wasn’t on good and the juice leaked all over the boxes, making them soggy. The chicken was so overcooked, nearly burnt, that we couldn’t eat it. And this was at dinner time so it should have been fresh. I understand that the manager has been changed recently. I STRONGLY SUGGEST Chicken Express consider a major change in this store. KFC is now here and they have been losers since they opened. So you do not have competition.

Location manager McKenzie, not at location said, “ those are my best employees and it’s the norm for them to talk that way, it’s ok.” He then informed me that he has issued a criminal trespass on me not to come back.
WHAT A DISGUSTING place to spend your money, ONCE!!!!!!

Rotten chicken. That is what we got at the Kaufman, Texas location. Wife took a bite out of the breast and after she it was too late she smelled it. Smelled like a dead cat! My son had one too that was rotten. I did not eat any but it made me throw up from the smell. I took it back and got refund. I asked the manager how old is the chicken? When did you receive it? I asked several times. He would not answer me. All he said is “we’ll look into it. I felt bad for the people getting dinner so I wanted to tell the Health Department but it was after 5:00 pm and their closed. I drove to the fire station to see if they could do something. An employee there said he used to work there. He said he has seen and served rotten chicken before there. He says they have had many violations and have been shut down before.
I talked to a police officer who said they have had several complaints about that restaurant. I will contact the health department today since there was nothing they could do last night. I just feel bad for anyone who ate there last night. I doubt that they even bothered to look at the chicken. I do have a video of the event. You can see several mistakes that are going on in the kitchen and the manager giving me the refund. I will share it with the inspector.

I am so sick of Chicken Express. If I am not mistaken this makes like the sixth or seventh time in a row that my order was not complete or put in wrong. The Chicken Express in Carthage Texas is so slow in the drive thru, half the time the chicken is over cooked. It seems like they just hire incompetent people there. I do understand that nearly the entire workforce is teenagers but still that is no excuse. I could understand having something left out every once in a while or they they are busy. But no I always go later in the evening because I don’t get off work til after 6pm. Chicken Express in Carthage Texas has lost my business for good. I am done I have had it. What does a person have to do to get a complete order. I know what I will start doing. I’ll start going to Churches Fried Chicken or KFC from now on.

Hi, I now come to the point of speaking out against the Chicken Express in Lawton, OK.
For the 4 th. (!!!) time our order was incomplete and it looks like done on purpose since we reminded the person taking the order to make sure everything we pay for is in the bag.
We love the food at Chicken Express which is not the reason for my complaint but getting ripped off is. We eat at Chicken Express a lot and two weeks ago we went through the drive thru and when we got home we was missing not only the rolls on two orders but also the corn nuggets on one of the orders. We went back the same week and came home again without the rolls. (If you call they tell you to come an get them but that is not the point, I do not want to make several trips for an incomplete order.)
Yesterday,(06/11/19) my husband went inside to order. ( We always eat the liver dinner), he made sure to tell the person to make sure everything is inside and he was assured it will be. Well he came home and you may guessed it right: The rolls was missing again (but we was of course charged for it). In addition the food was packed sloppy and disgusting. Some bright light is laying the container w/gravy or mashed potatoes on its side which make them leak out, – disgusting to look at !!!! You are not a cheap place to eat and we do expect better and more honest service then that. I have pictures which I can gladly put on trip adviser.

On Friday May 24, 2019, we went to Chicken Express in Comanche, Texas. My daughter had given us a Chicken Express Gift Card. We frequent this location many times a month. We have a ranch about 6 miles away and this is very convenient. We tried to use the gift card and they told us we couldn’t use it because the machine didn’t work. How are we suppose to know that? This happened at the same location 2 years ago when we tried to use a card then as well. Machine doesn’t work. The manager didn’t seem like he wanted to be bothered with us. I asked for corporate’s number. He gave it to me and when I asked for the store number, he said he didn’t know. I showed him my receipt with the number on it (3374) and he said that was not the store number. All the receipts show that because it is something to do with the rolls when they come in. Totally didn’t make sense. We frequented the Chicken Express Stores in Mesquite, Texas (2 of them) when PAT was the manager. Very nice guy and never a problem. Great attitude. Maybe you should send him back to Comanche and get rid of the poor excuse of a manager that you have in Comanche. If we can’t use the gift cards, what is the use of selling them? Please let me know how I can use my gift card. Thank you .

I had a Atrocious experience at chicken express in Rockwall Texas
My order was wrong, I ask for Condiments and it was a problem just for asking for condiments. I asks for 4 fresh hot spicy chicken tenders with fries no salt and a drink.
I told the manager the lady was rude to me. He defended her behavior, he also said she’s having a bad day. Yet , this was okay to treat customer with low hospitality and services. He called the policemen on me said I’m trespassing BECAUSE I wanted my money back. He told me I drop new tenders for you and you not getting nothing back, AND that order was wrong (mild tenders)
So the police wrote me up criminal trespassing letter!

I need to tell someone if my experience today at the Benton,AR location because the store apparently don’t care!!! I ordered a 9 piece gizzard combo meal. I live 30 minutes away so Luckily I was still in town. But I bite into a gizzard while i was driving and it had a nasty taste. I spit it out and puked. When i looked at the gizzard it was green. Yeah i said GREEN. I drove back to the location and went to talk to a manager. He didn’t say I’m sorry or nothing really. He just had them remake the order. I took because I paid for it but I can tell you I didn’t eat it. My family and I love Chicken express but I can tell you this was my last visit. At least to that location! All of the employees were moving slow except when 2 employees came in to order then they all came to the front to talk to him. I asked the manager if the pies were fried or baked. He asked if I would like one and then charged me for it even though I got sick off of the green gizzard.

Hello, I’ve attended the red oak chicken express and was very disstatisfied that my food was horrible as if it was not cooked thoroughly and had been sitting around. Every time I come to the red oak location my fries are never fresh. I have reported this to the management numerous times. When I also spoke wit Chester the manager he acted as if he was concern apologetic. I will not be a returning customer. And I would like a call back to speak with someone about this at the corporate office.

Visited the chicken express on south Cockrell Hill Road near Duncanville Tx and went inside to order and the lids happened to be off the tea bins and I took pictures to prove it that these bins were the nastiest I have ever seen in my life. Richard H. Owner of the llano/burnet locations have gone to the llano store and has exploded multiple times. People of llano are no longer wanting to go there because of the yelling and cursing that can be heard from the front door. Employees are on the verge of quitting do to the unethical and the lack of professionalism this man is having towards staff. When I told the manager he said sorry but it is company policy if you don’t call then he couldn’t help me. I ordered from Postmates to have my food delivered. I ordered 1 chicken breast and 1mash potatoes. When the driver brought my food I checked it and my Mash Potatoes were not in my box. The driver went back to Chicken Express and showed the manager the order his name is Nicklas. He would not give the driver my mash potatoes said was not his fault. I want something done . The driver paid out of his pocket for my Mash Potatoes and brought them to me. Chicken Express on Danforth in Edmond Ok. Rude and not right I paid $12.00 and didn’t get all my food will never eat there again.

I visited your Round Rock, Tx location on hwy 790/Palm Valley. Upon ordering received dried
out chichen breast notified staff, replaced with another dried out breast. When I got back to work called manager, she stated they gave me the option to wait on fresh chicken 15min. I did not have 15 min to wait. She did not try to work with me, was very rude and stated “chicken had been up about an hr which is standard.” I am very appauld that your franchise owner would allow such rude, customer service. Terrible attitude. I will never patronize that location again. I also place a video on Facebook asking others to not support. Just aweful!!!!!!

Chicken Express in Euless,, across from Trinity High School. I want to complain about the Manager who took my order. And complain about the District Manager. At least that’s what he told me. I ordered 2 Trojan meals. She gave me 1 Trojan meal at the window. When I expressed how disappointed I was with her service and asked for her boss a fat man named Jimmy with glasses Latino man said he was the District Manager came and told me what’s the problem. I expressed my disappointment and inconvenience, he shrugged off my complaint and told me he’ll have a talk with her. I told him I couldn’t believe she was a manager, he told me in a sharp tone that he already told me he’d talk to her. I told him, I’m not liking your tone and brushing off my concern. He said now I have to leave now or he’ll call the police. I said I’m not moving until Im done complaining and get my order. He gave me my order and ordered me to leave. I left and he shortened me my order of a large drink. I went back and expressed that they didn’t give me my other drink. He just stared at me and said he’ll call the police if I don’t leave. Very very rude. Horrible service by the Manager and District Manager. I will never go back. I told him I’ll never go back and he said Thank you. What poor service to where customers don’t mean diddly sh*t.

I wish the CEO of Chicken Express will listen to their customers because that’s the bloodline of your success. Learn from Chik–fila. They have the best Managers and employees. On 02/02/2019 at 6:11P.M.I purchased a number one and catfish snack at the 2525 N. Hwy 360 Grand Prairie, TX location. The cashier Taylor asked me what would I like for my large drink, I responded with a Sprite. I pull around to the window to pay and receive my order. I asked for a drink carrier not realizing that the catfish snack didn’t come with s drink. Taylor mentioned that drink carriers were for orders that had 3 or more drinks. While I wait for my order I’m looking over my receipt. I see a .50 cent up charge for the large drink. Taylor returns to the window with my order and I asked does the number one initially comes with a medium drink. She responds that it comes with a regular drink but that her manager trains them to up charge all drinks and then continues with asking do I want to speak to her manager.
My issue is that Taylor “offers” up a manager when I am asking a simple question about my order and what I am being charged. I explained to her that it wasn’t necessary because my concerns could be addressed between her and I.
I understand a fast food restaurant may not be most people’s ideal job however customer service is important. If I had an issue that I felt she couldn’t assist me with, then I would’ve requested to speak to management. My experience this evening has left a negative impact on my view with this location and I will not return as a customer.

I live in Canton Tx and was at the CE last night ( friday the last one in January 2019) The female manager on duty was upset because she had not prepared for a rush at the dinner hour and had many cars in line in the drive through. I had waited for twenty minutes in line and another 15 at the window when I was asked to move and wait for my order to become ready. I said my order should be ready ? She said it has two more minutes . I said well one of those minutes is gone and by the time I move the time will be gone and my chicken which should already be done will be done. I said its not my fault the chicken was down when it should have been and it seems silly to move when its done by now so I will wait for you to go get it. When she came back She Threw the bag of two boxed dinners into the window of my car. I figured everything would be wrong but surprisingly only my tenders were spicey which I cant eat but she had not taken out the original tenders only put spicey ones on top. The throwing of my food from the window into my car could be constued as a reason for arrest as it is against the law to assualt someone in anyway regardless if it is boxes of chicken with sharp corners and considering Im an elderly person who had just spent 40.00 on dinners for my daughterrs family who rec’d theirrs very promptly I did not deserve to be assualted in one of your drive thru’s.
She is big shouldered with a bull dog looking face with redish hair Im sure and its dark red /brown. She was rude anyway and as I sat at the window she shoved her employees as she hurried around the kitchen trying to do too many jobs at one time which reduces the work getting done. There was manager there who stuck his head in the kitchen but of course didnt help who did not appear again. Dark complected about 5 10 or 11 dark hair. If you own a business why would you fault on customer service when its your profit going out the door with piss poor customer service. I guess managment in your CE dont feel customer service is a priority nor do your franchise owners. Maybe you need to stress that a little more so they are a little more picky when hiring their employees and letting the excons find employment else where. When CE came to Canton I was so disappointed it was in my neighborhood knowing the stench and trash was going to dirty our country side and tsure enough I wasnt wrong and now to know it employes people who cant control there actions as to assualt people through the drive thru window Im convenienced it should not be here in this small town with a large senior population.
I ve read your complaints and it seems to me you dont much care about the chicken after you get your money and Im not surprised but will be taking it up with our city council and chamber of commerce! There is more than one way to skin a cat or catch a rat and since you care little I will do what I know how to do and even if your chicken shsck remains it will sell a lot less chicken in the future.

Before everyone thinks I am about to complain, let me clarify. I want to rave about this manager and her customer service skills and management abilities. This lady has it going on! Any time we order from there and she is there, our order is always hot and fresh and she pays attention to every detail to make sure our experience is top notch. She is so professional and so eager to please and takes pride in her store. Her attitude is contagious and her employees move fast and deliberate when she is there. She runs a very tight ship and if I wasnt happy with my current job, I myself feel I would love to work under her. She’s happy, positive and informative. She speaks with high energy and is very articulate. I was in the food industry for 26 years and managers like her are few and far between and it takes a lot for me to take the time to find a way to contact corporate to rave about someone I encounter in the restaurant business. Melanie at 1131 Bridgewood Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76112 is a step above the rest and goes above and beyond what is expected to assure her customers are happy. I visited your location on Davis St in Mesquite, Texas Thursday afternoon (January 10th, 2019). Less than 24hrs later, I received a text alert from my bank about suspicious card activity. Upon contacting my bank, my card had been fraudulently used to order $99 worth of food through Doordash-What’s Crackin & another transaction was attempted through Nike for almost $200 (thankfully this transaction was declined). I keep my card in a secure Safe Card sleeve & the only time it was out of my possession was to pay for my Chicken Express order through the drive-thru. Roughly 1hr ago, I called & spoke to the Mgr about who identified himself as Dillan. I may as well have been talking to a wall as he seemed disconnected from concern & uninterested in addressing the potential issue of staff stealing credit card info from customers. The Mgr didn’t bother to ask for my name or any contact info; no details about my transaction…nothing. Although I volunteered my info to him anyway, it’s highly likely that info promptly wound up directly in the trash:( My bank has initiated a fraud investigation & plans to prosecute. It has not yet been confirmed that my credit card info was stolen by staff at this location but the inconvenience & stress imposed upon my life as a direct result of this ordeal is enough for me to NEVER spend another red cent @ Chicken Express ever again.

local chicken Express in Baytown? I was told the online menu includes corporate prices and
the location in Baytown is privately owned, thus their prices are higher.

I visited one of your franchised today and I got a to go order. I went inside and ordered.
I live 20miles oneway from this store in Clifton, TX. My husband had an appointment in Clifton and I work for the City of Cranfills Gap. I asked him to pick me up something for lunch from Chicken express. When he got back to the office the order was wrong. I called the store and was told I had to bring the food back in order to get credit for getting the wrong order. We may not be back in Clifton for a week or so and they want me to bring the food back. I am not happy with this service that I received.

Very rude employees and managers, my son, and little brother went to the chicken express in Abilene, Texas on EN 10Th. We had a large drink order, and the for some reason was an issue. The lady told my son can I just give you gallons and you can all poor them you selves. My son said no, I need them all individually please, and she said oh my gosh fine it’ll be $10.00. And thus wad all said rudely. I’m an RGM and run 2 stores, and this service is unacceptable. If that had been one of my employees, you best believe there would have been consequences. And the manager was just as rude, she In no way tried to apologize for the behavior, or anything. So I told her I wanted to speak to her boss , and ofcourse all I recieved was attitude. Today 12/8, I went to lunch early at the new store in League City, Tx. and dined inside. Even though there are no signs visible or any literature in your menu regarding that customers are required to bus their own tables, to my great surprise on my way out the door after eating, the lady working the register stopped me and told me that they do not have waiters/waitresses in their establishment, and requested that I needed to throw away all that was left on my table away as a result. Other establishments such as KFC, Popeye’s, Church’s Chicken, etc.do not require this, so needless to say I was shocked and insulted when the lady behind the counter rudely stopped me to have me bus my own table. I thought she was going to ask me also wipe the table and sweep underneath too, but she stopped short of doing that. This was a very insulting and disappointing experience today, and I would like an apology in a reply and assurance that you will talk to the lady on duty behind the counter today and direct her not ask me to do that again. My name is Brenda Rawls i was employed by Popeyes here in Hillside, New Jersey. At first, i got the run around and finally got hired. I was told to be there Monday(Oct 8, 2018-not sure of the date) morning at 9AM before opening start. I got there that day and worked. My first day i worked about 9 hours. The next i quit.Now i am having a problem for my paycheck. I have went yo Popeye’s 2 times for my paycheck same story (its in a locked safe) ok who can open the safe (nobody knows) i was told to call the Manager (Chris) which i did on several times. Chris said ok i will let you know about your paycheck still once again (no paycheck). I am writing to get some help with this situation. It has been over a month for this paycheck–it could have been mailed to me by now–I have nothing. I am truly aggravated by this situation and very very disappointed by Popeye’s. I find that Popeye’s in hillside is very very unorganized. I am going to write the Better Business Bureau (BBB) about this paycheck situation. Nobody reached out to me about my paycheck, not even mailed it to me. I am very frustrated and aggravated behind this paycheck, its seems like nobody have the answer about my paycheck.

Recently I have been told that I am no longer allowed on the register cause I was short. I understand the need to pay attention and to make sure the correct change is handed out but I was not the only one on my till. The manger was on my till that day 4-5 times and I do not believe it should be held against me due to the fact that I was not the only one on the register. The rule that you will get written up if you are 50 cents over and under causes a bit of a stress. I tried my hardest to make sure that I handed change back correctly. I did my best. Also remember that we are human and the computers can mess up. I was embarrassed and felt like I was being humiliated cause of what happened and angry cause I was not the only one on the same till. The manager could have messed up. Maybe set up a one more chance deal? Other than that I was upset and felt like I was too stupid to even count. I did like the job. Now i am starting to reconsider.

Today, September 24,2018 I went to Chicken Express on Turner Plz, Abilene, Texas at 4:47pm. After ordering I saw a large mouse was run across the floor into the kitchen. I I told an employee and he started laughing going about his business!! A mouse running around in broad daylight tells me they know about him. I understand food places may have a problem BUT I DON’T NEED TO SEE iT! As I left I told the employees I would NEVER set foot in their store again – They were still laughing and grinning when I walked out!

Chicken is not worth a 20 minute wait!!! Bush’s Chicken down the road. In the last 2 months I have picked up chicken during lunch around 1 pm every week. In the last 2 month I have waited 15-20 minutes for Chicken in a Chicken restaurant. Spoke to the 10 year old manager who made excuses with 2 fryers being down. Not once in the 4 times I had to wait for Chicken was there an apology, a try to make the experience better, no discount offered. When I told her I have been told 8 minutes 3 times before she tried to correct me. Today I waited 11 minutes, not 8 again. Bush’s Chicken here comes my business. My money spends everywhere. Customer Service is terrible. I will pay more to a company that treats me like they want my business. With all the choices we have available, companies should really take note of their customer service.

I want to draw a complaint on the managers that worked on the evening of 8/27/18 whom where drinking beer on a the job & offered my minor son whom is employed by chicken Express . From insulting me while I waited outside for him to get off work, 1 of the person peed on side of my truck. When I told them to pee somewhere else , they told me to shut up XXXXXX!

I really love the aste of CHicken Express. Great sides. BUT WHY IS THE STAFF LOOKING LIKE ZOMBIES /o any personalities, etc. No real sense of dedication for having a job THEY CHOSE, mind you. Also, most of the employees look dirty. I wish CHICK -FIL -A would come to our neighborhood. CE would be gone in a skinny minute.

It is hard to find good chicken anymore and I got my chicken fix from those locations.

Not sure if you got my complaint or not. We went to palestine chicken express around 10:50 this morning! As we walked in the door there was trash all over the entryway! Then more trash as u headed for the register! We ordered and they gave us cup to get a drink got there to get drinks – no ice!!!! Went back to register and finally got someones attention and they said they would have to get it from behind there! The next custer got hos cup and we told him there was no ice!! Couldnt believe all the trash inndoorway ! We should have left

I was at chicken express in ardmore ok.I ordered a 12 pei e meal and asked for the sr. Discount the manager said we dont give sr. Discounts on 12 peice meals so i asked why he said cuz it costs them money i said well no matter what size meal its still coming out of my pocket and im feeding my grandkids he says too bad you do t gotta buy it i felt the hole deal is crap cuz im living on a retirement and i was just asking for my sr. Discount it should not matter what you buy if you offer a senior discount it should be on everything or dont offer one

Sitting here waiting for my order to be done correctly a second time. Told I will have to wait another 15 minutes. The manager only wants to make excuses and doesn’t even apologize. Meanwhile another customer has her order wrong and the staff acts like it is no big deal. I am sitting here listening to the staff act like it was ok to serve burnt chicken. The last asks for the owners number and they tell her he is too busy to talk to her. Hey owner…. Why do you even bother to have a business?
Add on … so it’s 25 minutes later and now I’m asking for a refund the manager went out into her truck and took a smoke break and then when she came back and spent the entire time avoiding customers and not making eye contact it was only after she gave me her money back that she said finally sorry about that

I came in the store to get a to go order and was left at the counter for a couple of minutes before anyone even addressed me. One worker finally said I’ll take your order in a minute and a group of “friends” came in that they had to all hug and start talking to. One asked for a drink and a cup was passed over the counter to her. Another, an obvious employees that was not on the clock walked to the prep line and started working with sandals on. She is the one who asked if they were going to take my order. They finally took my order but never gave me cups to get my drinks.
There is also a sign posted that the Tuesday order was buy an adult get a kids meal free. I had to ask why I was charged for it. The manager then had to help me with that. After 25 minutes another customer was tired of waiting (she had maybe waited 10 minutes) and directed their attention to me still waiting. They told me they were waiting on a chicken leg (they told me that 15 minutes earlier.)
Another customer told me to calm down because I questioned them and the manager ducked his head down to ignore what was going on. When I left, I called back and he was still of no help. I got home to COLD food and missing ITEMS that I had paid for!
I will not be returning to the Angleton location!

Extremely disappointed in your Justin store. I’m currently laying in bed after puking my guts up all day after eating there. The sweet tea and macaroni tasted like cleaning products. The chicken was undercooked. The biscuit was rock hard. It’s one thing if this was a one time occurrence, but this isn’t the first time.

I normally love Chicken Express but I am so upset. The one on Turner Dr. in Abilene Tx left out my gravy. They would give me the gravy if i drove all the way back up there but would not consider the fact that they are the reason my food would be cold! The manager, Haley, in fact told me it was not their fault that I would have cold food! I had ordered a 20 piece tender with 2 sides. Cold okra and cold limp french fries! Seriously?! I have worked in food service for years….. This was unacceptable! I am furious!

I said I was never going to the chicken express at 287 and Sublett in Arlington/kennedale txt but I stupidly did it anyway. When I placed my order for livers and gizzards I was told they did not have any livers cooked. That was it. No offer to cook any. It was about 8:30 p.m. so I asked if they were fixing to close because I thought maybe that was why they didn’t offer to cook more livers. I was told no they weren’t fixing to close. Finally I got them to cook the livers. I was told it would be 6-8 minutes. Approximately 10 minutes later they called my order number so I got my food and left. When I opened my food up SURPRISE-no livers only gizzards. So no more going back. I’m done.

This is my last time ever eating at chicken express. I went through the drive through on 1/24/18 about 7:35p in Glenn Heights, TX. No one acknowledged me. I drove off to go inside and as I parked the car that was behind me was getting helped which pissed me off. I went inside let the young lady know what happened. I proceeded to order, I waited for about 7-8 minuets for a number 1. Got my food drove to my destination which was about 5 minuets down the road and opened the box to go ahead and try to eat. My fries were ice cold, the roll was cold, the only thing that was warm was the chicken.
This is not my first time having bad food and bad service. Chicken Express will never get another dime from me.

I really like the food here. But I can’t order just a tea and pay with my debit/credit card? I got told there was a $2 minimum and I would have to buy something else. That doesn’t seem fair, I don’t carry cash, so I didn’t buy anything.

This is Lindy Eugene Morriss, 67, type 2 diabetic and deaf since birth. I used to come eating at Chicken Express near Hulem Mall for many years. Sometimes they are not friendly to deaf customers. All I want to eat, that’s all. Today, I ordered 2 pcs, white chicken, okra and large iced tea. I hold a large sized cup and clicked on unsweetened tea. I went to my table and she brought my dinner to my table. I started to some chicken without fry. I drank my tea and tasted way too much sweet. I came to a counter and complained about this tea tasted too sweet, I thought it was supposed to be unsweetened tea, someone mixed it up. I told a cashier you can not put sweet tea in there because some people with diabetic will get seizure and death. It is not funny, it is very serious, A lady cashier bursted to laugh and made fun of me, deaf man, I can tell by her facial expression, she mocked and laughed at me. I told her I will talk to the manager, she still laughed and act like a smart aleck, I want her to get her fired, I have seen like this so many times at fast foods and Chicken Express. Did you people train your employees to mock, make fun and laugh at deaf people? I am tired of this, when it’s gonna stop and start growing up act like human beings and respect all people. If this does not solve the problem , i will report to the city of Ft. Worth about this. What is wrong with your people? Hey, I went to your Chicken Express on Gilmer Road in Longview. Texas and ordered 3 dinners with white meat and mashed potatoes. When I got home, I had 3 chicken breasts and 4 wings. I don’t think wings are classified as white meat. I paid about $22.00 and feel I was cheated. I am really disappointed and will probably just drive on by any of your stores from now on. I hope you can explain why this happened…

My daughter, Allison Monthie-Kemp, went to work for Cindy Weadon and Richard Cools in January 2017. They own the Chicken Express: 5501 Rowlett Rd., Rowlett, TX 75089, phone number (972) 463-4646. She was hired on the spot, as she had worked for Chicken Express on Judson Road in Longview, TX, since she was 16 years old. She moved to Garland, Tx, to attend school and is now 20 years old. The owners are rude and mean to the workers, as you can tell by their employee turnover. While it was okay for them to call her in whenever they needed her, she was almost fired on Halloween for calling in sick. Ms. Weadon said to go to a minute clinic, get some medicine and come to work because she was shorthanded. We did take my daughter to the clinic and it was confirmed that she had strep throat and got a note for work. Allison hardly ever calls in sick or misses work. That should be evident in her employee folder from both stores. Mr. Cools always tells her that she will be or do nothing in her life. Allison has been accused of stealing on several occasions. As there are cameras, she always asked for proof. None was provided. Last night both the owners berated her, yelled at her, embarrassed her and told her she was suspended for two weeks impending investigation. Her drawer was over. The way these people talk to the young people in that store is ridiculous. They are all young and should not be screamed at, called names, and accused of stealing without proof. These kids will think all bosses will be like them. I was very disappointed to dine at that Chicken Express. The atmosphere is not the best.

Went to Chicken Express in Midlothian Texas find out they do not give senior citizens a family pack cuz if there is only one senior in the household nor they give military discount without a fight I talk to the corporate office Richard Nancy Stewart and their franchised so they don’t really care what the stores do mr. Moore’s that owns that one doesn’t call he has someone named Todd call me and informed us that they do not give seniors family packs because they feel is to much for one senior it’s sad it’s a joke but there’s plenty of places to eat good luck not a very friendly atmosphere either

I was just fired because I asked for time off because I needed more time for school work. I work only 2 days because that’s all he gives me even though I ask for more. But I call him and he just starts yelling at me that he doesn’t care and I need to manage my time better. I am requesting that Chicken Express bring your franchises to Colorado, more specifically to Rifle, CO. There are no decent fast food restaurants in my area. We are located on I70 which is a main thorough fare through the mountains. Stores would do a great business since you would not only get locals, but also all the travelers coming through this area…also a lot of the transports that come through here, too. Since I am from Texas originally, I greatly miss your food…It would bring a little bit of home to me.

I am writing to express my disappointment in a visit last night. I ordered the 20 piece tender with a family mash potato side, rolls and a large sweet tea at the drive thru. We get the 20 piece because it is perfect for us I have 6 pieces and she has 4 for dinner that night and it allows us each to have the same for lunch on a subsequent day. Upon getting home to have dinner with my wife we each grabbed our respective 4 and 6 pieces to see only 8 pieces remaining and at least 3 of those pieces were have the size of a finger. I feel for the $21.00 that is charged for the 20 piece chicken tender that we should not only be able to receive the 20 pieces that we actually paid for but they should also be a piece of chicken and not a piece that would not cut it as a nugget at McDonalds.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Four piece tender dinner. Chicken was great as usual but the pieces were as big as my thumb. I have pictures if you need them.i am used to a more generous serving for the price. We love our chicken express. Don’t get cheap and loose your store here in Lawton ,Oklahoma because people stop coming. I need no compensation. Just my two cemts.

On 09/22/17, I placed an order at the drive thru window for 2 chicken strips with a roll, also ordered a large sweet tea. After pulling away from the window I discovered there was no roll or gravy, just 2 strips. Wife went inside to correct the order. The manager gave her a roll, but stated gravy did not come with the meal and she would have to pay for gravy. She asked if she could trade the biscuit for the gravy and was told no. This has never happened to us before. We take our grandkids, and great grandkids there and order adult size except for the great grandkids. I have no problem paying extra for gravy now that I know about the menu requirements. My problem is with the manager, instead of gifting some gravy and saying “now that you know, there will be a charge from now on. The store established the presidence with us, not us with the store. The wife says she will not go back to that store. The store just lost up to 6 orders at a time from us over one little tub of gravy. Wife says she or none of her friends have ever been to a chicken express without gravy included in their orders. The store was the Lake Worth, Texas store. At 6:45 p.m.

Hello, I was an employee at the store is duncan, ok. I was just recently fired for a no call no show. This is not fair and would like someone to be held responsible for this. The situation for my dismissal is I got the schedule that was made out telling me when I was scheduled to work. I was off Monday and Tuesday, working wensday. The schedule got changed and my supervisor or any one never told me of the change, I was told that I would be call if I was needed. I fill like it’s discrimination and bad management resulting in me loosing my job. This is my only source on income and I was let go for the simple reason of XXXXXty management and it reflects against a great company.
