I worked for OnPointe for several years before they sold a group of homes to another company. At the time of sale, we were promised that we would receive payment for any unused PTO time that we had remaining. No one took PTO time to help make the transition as smooth as possible, believing we would get paid for the unused PTO time. Some spent more money at Christmas believing we would get this money owed to us on the 10th of January 2019, but that was never received leaving families in a bind following the holidays. I’m pretty sure OnPointe was able to enjoy their holidays more than we were at Kemp Care Center. Of course none of our employees received anything from this company. When the CEO of OnPointe gives his word, remember, his word is not truth. We are all still waiting. So, when you hear these people speak of honesty, integrity and compassion, just know that they obviously don’t even know the meaning of these words.

I worked for Onpointe for 2 years until we were sold. As a company to work for they were not overall bad, didn’t always pay their bills but for the most part the nursing facility I worked for had what it needed to run efficiently. My problem with Onpointe is that once we were sold they did not keep their promises and pay out the PTO time to the loyal employees who stayed and worked to make the transition go smoothly. It would have been better for them to say they had no intention of paying the PTO rather than make people believe the money would be coming. Many of the employees struggled during the first month of the transition due to the false reassurances from Onpointe. Over 6 months later and not a dime was paid.

I work at a horrible run facility in Texas City,Texas the Rio. Me and another tec were made to work two halls by our self on the nights we did work. That was a resident to tec of 14 to 20 residence for one floor tec, but that was ok the Don ( Jackie, the Scheduling coordinator, and Kimberly the Administrator who flat out said a meeting that we would get no help on to heavy halls and we would just have to deal with it.. Fine I hope you get closed down.
this is my contact information: 281-508-XXXX I have quit so I don’t care who knows…

A move to shut down one of your operating facility should be considered.
Re: OnPointe Health should take full responsibility for its subsidiary facility in New Mexico, the Rio at Cabezon in Rio Rancho.
This is one of the worst skilled nursing facilities I have ever come across,
in so far as the management and administration is concerned. There doesn’t seem to be any leadership. It is totally disorganized. It’s simply pathetic. I am primarily concerned about the worst Accounts Payable system in this place. This facility in Rio Rancho is managed by On Pointe organization which apparently is based in Texas. The Rio Cabezon’s managing system, communications systems, managerial staff, etc. is the worst ever. It is almost impossible to find out who actually is in charge of this place. I have provided vital services to this place every month, yet their accounts payable system is so disorganized that it is practically impossible to receive compensation from the services I provide monthly. The only recourse is to go to the court to resolve this ongoing situation. A terrible system. This facility must be shut down, unless improvements are made. The ultimate person responsible for this place could be Eric Tanner, president of its parent company, OnPointe Health, based in Texas. Eric Tanner:
