I went to the Panama City Fl store about 8:30pm on September 6th. I ordered a three thighs piece chicken dinner. The young man tells me he only has baked chicken. I said can I get some fried chicken? He said yes but it will be a fifteen minute wait. I said okay. I made to the window I paid and the lady told me to pull around front and they would bring out my food. Eventually they brought my food out. I looked at the food and it wasn’t three thighs. It was one thigh one breast one drum. I was happy to have something to eat and I left. The time I was waiting for my food I noticed the hours posted on the door open until 10 o clock. The employees are turning down the lights as not to encourage customers to stop in. Dodges chicken is right down the road. I’m sure they appreciate it. I know all to well the challenges of hiring and keeping employees. You have a problem at this store.

Location in Hondo tx had absolute horrible customer service. Drive thru cashier Evan threw items into the bag where we could clearly see him through the big window….. rolled his eyes when we spoke to him. Manager just simply apologized…. I work fast food myself and love my job… hopefully those who hate their job find another.

I recently went by and got some chicken at the Little Elm location in Texas. And was told that you no longer offer the serendipity salt of any flavor,if this is true I no longer like your chicken as I only eat it with the hot season salt!!!

Hello I went to the Golden Chick located in Dallas off of Hampton Rd. recently on July 10, 2022 Sunday. When I arrived there was a line the people had been in line for over 15 minutes. Some of them the cars just started leaving but I decided to wait. I waited for 20 minutes when I got to the speaker to order no one ask if they could help me. I waited 10 more minutes until finally I said hello hello then the girl said yes could I help you. I gave my order which was 3 PC fish coleslaw and ice tea. She said pay at the first window. There was another car in front of me so I had to wait another 10 minutes. When I finally got to the window and paid she said there will be a 7 minute with which was fine I told her I been waiting over 30 minutes to get here. The girl told me to pull up to the handicap and someone will bring it out..I did it was 106 degrees mind you and 7 minutes passed 10 minutes then 15 minutes 20 minutes no one ever came . I then got out my car walk to window knocked on it and there were about 8 young people inside playing around not doing nothing..so they finally came to the window I ask where was my fish I paid for the girl looked around said yall didn’t take her her fish no one said a word just smiling by then I was hot and upset..one of the young boys walked to me I said I’m contacting management he said “Hey Auntie” trying to be smart I didn’t even know him. I got in my car and left called corporate no one have contacted me yet. I did speak with the manager Saul on Monday afternoon he was very apologetic. He offered me a meal as a customer service inconvenience. I will never eat there again. Maybe at another location one day. I called everyone I knew and told them about that location they playing in there could drop your food and still give it to you. Very poor service.

I went into your restaurant on Hampton near I20 last week and was giving a Cole slaw without a top I did not notice it until I arrived at home unwilling to go back I throw the Cole slaw away today I went back to same location and explained to manager what happen the week before and asked for a free Cole slaw and was asked for my receipt when I was unable to show receipt then told I was lying about the event I asked for the phone number to corp office and was told there is no corp office I will never go to another Golden Chick and will tell my family and friends to do the same.

This store i went to in grand prairie off 360 just needs everyone fired… I went through drive thru and got my food and I pulled in to a parking spot to check my food cause last time I got home I was missing food again… so this time I checked before I left and what a surprise I was missing 5 items from my order … I went in and told 4 different people about a missing order and all they did was walk to the back and start playing on there phones… 1 person was vapeing in the back, people weren’t wearing their mask, not waring gloves, people that was there had been waiting on their food longer than 30 min asome wanted a refund due to still waiting… this was the last draw I will never ever eat at your establishment anymore you should check the cameras on this store I was from 3:30 to 4:30 … way longer I don’t understand I had to wait a full hour to get my food

I do not wish to sound petty or be insensitive to front line minimum wage employees because i only seem to have these nightmares at your location on stassney lane in austin tx as far as every other location i have ever eaten ate i send you many props…however i feel like i am robbed every time my husband and i order from this location…tonight he went through the drive through for him and i and he got a 3 pc golden chicken combo with 4 corn nuggets and drink and i ordered the chicken salad dinner salad with extra ranch and jalapeno poppers and drink…what he brought home looked like 3 hard dried up chicken nuggets 3.25 corn nuggets a plastic container that a single roll would fill filled with 2 baby carrots 2 pieces of broccoli 2 cherry tomatos and 5 pieces of lettuce no dressing…and a spoon…they wont answer the phone to give us a refund and wont come to the door to give me a drink…if i had a set of dentures i would eat the plastic box but due to covid 19 you cant get those virtually unfortunately

The Golden Chick in Desoto, TX on Covkrell Hill is serving raw chicken, possibly salmonella. Went through drive thru and ordered a big chicken sandwich to bite into raw chicken. Went back to exchange and before we left broke chicken sandwich in half and that too was raw. Walked into store third time and they said couldn’t give us a refund even with receipt so we got a tender combo. Y’all 5rying to kill people. I have pics if you want to reach out.

This is my 3rd trip since this place opened. I always want the 10 piece leg and thigh. which has gone from 9.99, 10.99, and now is 12.99. Then when you get up to the window, the little girl tell’s me the only have 2 fried thighs and I can have the others in baked or roasted. I don’t won’t roasted, I won’t FRIED. Today, after having been stuck in the house for 3 weeks since this virus started, I wanted some Chicken. Legs and Thighs. There was a car waiting ahead of me on their meal and me. I told them I would wait till they fried some more. The girl said it would be about 13 minutes. I went and parked in front of the place. She came out and gave the people waiting before me their order and they left. I ask her as she was going in was mine almost ready, her reply was a couple of minutes. So I seat there and there was another car that placed a order and pulled to the side of building and waited for her’s. I had already waited 15 minutes and thought I would go ahead and go to the window. While I was waiting, they acted like I wasn’t there. Then this black cook walked out and gave the car that came after me at least 15 minute later get their food. They left. It was 3:05 pm when I placed my order and it was 3:37 when I got it. I ask the really nice mexican girl why was my so long. She didn’t know and the little girl which was also black was hiding so she wouldn’t have to talk with me. I have worked in retail and industrial kitchen for 35 years and this is uncalled for. Then there was a employee that walked into the kitchen with short shorts and didn’t wash her hands and did not have a hat on. Is this safe with all the virus and sick people dying. Sanitation is the number 1 thing when working in Food Service. Maybe this company doesn’t care what their customer’s think. It looks that was with all the replies. Chicken Express has problems, but at least they take the time and reply to your compliant.

I went to the Golden Chick in Leander, TX tonight and I’m disappointed in our dinner. We got the chicken tender family meal with 2 sides. The chicken tenders are less than half the size we got a few months ago. We have not been eating out much during this pandemic. We spent over $32 on dinner that would feed about 3 people, when we have 4. It was a toss up between your store and Popeyes. I don’t plan on returning to Golden Chick after this experience. You were one of my kid’s favorites, and we were loyal customers. I feel ripped off.

Bonham, Texas – I just waited 30 minutes for an order of 16 tenders and an order of jalapeño poppers and the manager couldn’t give me a decent answer as to why I had to wait 30 minutes. She just kept telling me they have to go in order. I saw 10 cars go through the drive thru and two people who ordered after me got their food before me. How is that in order?? When I questioned the cashier, she acted like she forgot about my order. She turned around a hurried up to open the boxes and put it together. There were at least 5-6 people standing around doing nothing. One employee even said she was so confused. This place has terrible customer service and no respect for customers. There needs to be a clean sweep of the employees and a new manager in place. Absolutely horrible.

Tonight was the third visit in a row to mess up my order…it is the absolutely most aggravating thing for this restaurant to keep “forgetting” items in the order. Tonight I ordered the mixer…a large family order…at the drive thru..got the two large bags and drove the fifteen minutes home. Opened the bags to serve dinner, NO SIDES. Ordered mashed potatoes, slaw and okra. I called restaurant, informed them of my problem and after verbally checking with other employees while I was waiting on phone, I was told to give my name and I could get next trip. I go through the drive thru in Red Oak at least 3 times a week between the hours of 4pm-5pm and the employee seems to have a hard time hearing when I order. On 12/10/19 at approximately 4:45pm, as I was ordering employee (Sarah) seem to have had trouble hearing me. I literally had to yell my order to her. After approaching the drive thru window, I asked her to inform the manager of the problem with the drive-thru speaker. As I attempted to discuss it with her, she stated, “excuse me, I can’t hear you.” I then replied, “I have a problem with having to yell my order. Could you please have you manager check it out.” She yells to the manager, “This guy has a problem with me not being able to hear him.” After she returned to the window, I asked what her name was. She replied, “Sarah.” She closed the window and yells, “He asked me my name, so he’s going to call you.” That attitude as well as customer service is totally unacceptable and extremely disrespectful. I hope that such behavior can be corrected.

On November 19, 2019, I visited the Golden Chick located at 14430 Marsh Lane, Addison, TX 75001. I ordered the roasted chicken (white meat). I did not check my order before I left. When I got home, I saw that my order was incorrect (they gave me fried chicken, dark meat). I called the establishment and was told that I would have to call back tomorrow because there was nothing he could do, and a manager was not there. When I called back the next day, the manager was rude and told me that it’s a new day and nothing can be done to correct the mistake they made. I basically gave them $11.00 for 2 sides. I will NEVER go there again. If you are in the Addison area, please avoid this Golden Chick. Save yourself the headache, time and money.

I go to the store in Yukon, OK. I love the catfish meal but hate the store. If I go thru the drive through it will take at least 20 mins and that is if nobody is in line. There have been times it took 45 mins. My order is frequently wrong. I started going inside and wish I had not. There was a piece of fish on the floor behind the counter and the workers just stepped around it. The store is filthy. Tonight I went inside to order and stood there for 5 mins and never saw anyone. I could hear them talking. I hollered “Hello” several times before anyone came to take my order. While packaging my order he and the girl talked about how when their families come up they do not charge them or at the most a dollar. He did not complete the order with any kind of efficiency and they were so busy flirting that everything did not matter. This store is such a disappointment. Even when I brought it to their attention that my order was wrong they do not care. The food is good but the store and service is horrendous. Please tell the owner cause I saw two people pull out of the drive through and leave. It could be successful just not like it is now.

We had been looking forward to visiting the brand new Golden Chicken built in Dumas, TX., visiting from 75mi away. We ordered the 10pc chicken order for a great price of $9.99. As we pulled in, no cars were sitting around the store or go thru the drive-thru; usually a dead giveaway about a place. The first thing we noticed was the lack of technology used in the intercom system which was terrible for communication purposes. Our order taker was pleasant and spoke perfect English. The order was correct but should have tested the food there before we drove the 75 miles back to our home to eat. Every piece was under-cooked and could not be eatin. We won’t be back. We’ll continue to use my fried chicken recipe

Regarding the Golden Chick restaurant on Beltline Blvd, Columbia SC. Love the food, but WOW the people that work there are the worst. At the drive thru last night 02/14/2018 which was not busy (no one before or after me) the lady working never one time spoke friendly to me. Our ‘conversation’ was as follows:
Lady: Go ahead
Me: 2 roasted chicken dinners, one with okra one with green beans
Lady: Drinks
Me: 1 coke and 1 root beer
Lady: that’s 2 dinners with beans and no drinks
I then corrected the order saying clearly what I wanted…
Lady: drive around , that’s $14.75 (possibly not the amount, just using for example)
She opens the window (does not speak) hands me the food, takes my card, returns card with drink, didn’t even know I had card until I put drink in holder and it fell, and shuts window…needless to say when I got home my order was not correct. AND the reason I did not call back is the only number I saw to call was the store itself, wanted to speak with someone else not her. I do love the food but every time I visit this store (only one in my area) I never see the same people, I usually go inside but I have yet to see the same person working. Maybe they are getting fired because they are so bad, its a shame they
can’t find good employees, because I do enjoy the food.

I made a stop after a very busy/tiring day. I just wanted to drive thru get home, put up my feet and enjoy my 2 dark/fried value meal. I open my box to see two pieces of chicken and hot mashed potatoes. But, no roll, no fork/spoon, and no napkins. It wasn’t an oversight because of rush hour. There was no one else in drive thru, and not much activity if any inside the business.
I am a senior citizen with disabilities so going back was not an option. I was truly disappointed.

I came through the drive-thru at about 8:40/8:45ish…i wouldn’t know EXACT time because I wasn’t even given my receipt. I assume because I paid in exact change? ($19.36) Anyways, I sat there for about 10-15 mins before I received my meal from the lady (unsure of name but could give description) as she just stuck her arm out the window, passed me my meals and shut the window. I could look past that, seeing how I HATE going to that restaurant anyway because every experience is unpleasant because they’re freaking RUDE!!! I just enjoy the food. HOWEVER, tonight I can’t enjoy my food bc I received NO GRAVY with my 4 piece tender meal (w/a roll, mashed potatoes & macaroni) and my husband didn’t receive his coleslaw with his 5 piece catfish meal (w/a roll and okra). &&& to top it off, which is why I’m reporting this whole nonsense, when I called back up there after I drove 20 mins home…the manager on duty Comekia Martin (pronunciation and/or spelling may be off) informed me “they didn’t put gravy in there bc I didn’t request it. They’re usually supposed to ask bc some ppl don’t like gravy, but yeah that’s why it wasn’t in there. And if I come back through there, just give them my name and they’ll replace my coleslaw. She wrote my name down.” BULLS**T! What kind of customer service is that?! And who made her the manager? Replace my coleslaw? That’s it?! I’d just like to know when I’ll get my gravy too, so I can enjoy my meal? I’ve worked in the food industry my fair share and that’s the stupidest crap I’ve EVER heard! Any NORMAL, PROFESSIONAL MANAGER would have offered to replace both meals correctly and would APOLOGIZE rather than justify the issue and place blame on the customer! Someone needs to FIX that store bc I’m SURE I’m NOT the only person who’s getting tired of the rediculousness up there. I’ve NEVER called and complained to a restaurant about a mistake and damn sure NEVER contacted corporate…but tonight I’ve had ENOUGH!

Parking lot: Dirty (dirt), straws, paper, cigarette buts. Dinning room: Dirty floors, NO clean tables (went to bathroom, which was dirty, and got paper towels to clean our table), food and paper on floor, dirty chairs, flies everywhere. Food: chicken had no flavor and batter tasted like flour. The cold slaw was like soup. All the containers for the sides were covered with food. Place smelled rank. Should not be writing this because we should have left when I saw the parking lot. If the dinning room is dirty, what does the kitchen look like? Hate writing this because we normally like our experience at Golden Chick. Can’t believe the health department hasn’t closed it down. This needs to be checked out by Corporate.

The new restaurant on Sugar Road in Edinburg Texas was most disappointing. The catfish order was not crisp and the okra was not seasoned. The Coleslaw wasn’t fresh with old cabbage…..

I stopped at golden chick after getting out of church, for lunch. I ordered the chicken breast and okra. Both Were exceptionally tasty, as was the roll and iced tea. My complaint is that I watched the lady who filled the order and she picked up the chicken with her hands, no gloves. Most places have them wear the throw away gloves. So even if she had washed her hands recently, I would still expect it. This is a new store and the parking lot and inside of store was clean. This is the store on Ovilla Road in Ovilla Texas.
