Tire Kingdom was founded in Florida in 1972 by Chuck Curcio, who began by selling tires at a Farmer’s Market. The company operates a chain of tire and brake stores throughout the US.

The company grew quickly and was sold first to Michelin Tire in the late 1980’s, then to the TBC Corporation in 2000 for $45 million. All locations outside Florida are being rebranded as National Tire and Battery, while Florida locations will retain the Tire Kingdom name. Tire Kingdom operates as a subsidiary.

TBC also operates Big O Tires, National Tire and Battery, as well as Merchant Tire, all of which generally retain their own names and territories. Most locations are company owned stores, but there are franchised operations.

In 2015, TBC announced that all Tire Kingdom stores outside the state of Florida would be rebranded to the National Tire and Battery name.

I too have had many bad automotive repair experiences. That is why I am taking the time to write this comment.
Last Thursday, as my wife and I traveled to Tallahassee from Mt. Dora, one of our tires began to “separate.” We were able to make it to our family’s house and found the nearest Tire Kingdom ( the tire seller). We went to the location (3:30 PM) and met the store manager Byron Carter. I explained the situation to him and asked if he could help. He responded with the fact that all store communications were “down” and that he had called IT on his cell phone and was waiting on a response. We left and went to get something to eat as Byron said he would call if the issue was solved. At around 6 PM Byron called and we went back and purchased a new tire ( given allowance for original). He was able to trouble shoot the communication problem himself and was quite helpful in getting us on our way in a short period of time. Byron is a true gentleman and his concern for others is a real asset to any company or group his is associated with. When we visit Tally again we will certainly check in on our new friend.

There needs to be better qualified people working here. Managers sell based on what the tech says. So managers have no idea in most cases about cars yet alone work on their own vehicle. But when you have techs who say what they said on my car, is bull. My car does not come from factory with wheel spacers studs. Those are aftermarket. And then again there are two kinds of spacers. Ones with no studs and one with studs. My does not have the studs. Then I’m charged for a tpms sensor service kit. I took out all my tpms sensors two years ago so my car is not even equipped with it. So why charge me for it? And then put down services provided for battery check and advise, how can it be performed when my hood does not open from the pull to open hood latch does not work due to the cable being stretched. This is just out of control. And now I have to go over my car myself to find what else was messed up. This is why I DO NOT take my car to a mechanic shop and do the work myself. This is not the first time tire kingdom has messed up my car. My alignment was messed up a few years ago from this shop and lug nuts were not tightened. Get better qualified people.

So, I’ll leave a comment – for what is worth. I’ve lived less than a mile away from a TK for the past 21 yrs. I’ve used TK exclusively for all of my auto repairs and have been please by the service, timeliness, and friendly staff. In that time I’ve spent literally thousands of dollars on oil changes, alignments, brakes, shocks, tires, and assorted odds and ends.

This morning I went out to the car and it wouldn’t start. I jumped it and got it running. Took it to TK as usual. Got a call back within 45 minutes, “You need an alternator abd a battery that’ll be $1350.00 (ish) and that is with a loyal customer discount of $150. I thought that was pretty steep so I called around and took it to another place where they did a diagnostic and assured me nothing was wrong with the alternator I just needed a battery. With the diagnostic charge, battery, and labor I had the car back in 3 hours for 1/4 of what TK wanted to charge me.

I’ll never go back to TK.

DO NOT USE TIRE KINGDOM. You all almost killed me because the back brakes were gone. We brought the car into the Lake City Florida Tire Kingdom specifically for the brakes. The front brakes were replaced on March 14th. My husband asked if the back brakes were checked and the technician said “Yes.” I don’t appreciate being lied to. The car almost immediately started to make strange noises. I took it to another mechanic today and he told me that the brakes were RUSTED. Obviously, the back brakes were not checked. The back brakes were completely gone and now we have to replace the rotors and calipers. What if your wife, son or daughter were driving without brakes? What if a baby were in the car and your wife could not stop and slammed into a truck? I have to drive 2 hours a day in heavy traffic. NOT okay. Don’t trust your life to Tire Kingdom.

To Whom It May Concern: My husband & I are unable to reach a LIVE person in the upper echelons of Tire Kingdom (TK), so a comment is being left here with low hopes of being contacted. Today is Monday, 8/1/2022. Our 2013 Ford Edge has been at TK since Friday, 7/1/2022, due to brake issues. Per the information communicated to us, we needed a master cylinder AND brake booster which we happily ok’ed being customers for 20 years. TK has been unsuccessful in repairing our vehicle & has now created issues with the pedals AND RPM! To be perfectly clear, these “NEW” issues were NON-EXISTENT prior to our vehicle being taken there. Based on additional information received, the ASE Certified Mechanic is BRAND NEW to TK, previous experience unknown. Now the vehicle has to go to Ford for it to be repaired correctly. Ford, & potentially elsewhere nationally, has a minimum 30-day plus wait period! What are we to do without our PRIMARY vehicle for an additional 30 days plus?! Despite OUR urgency & in speaking with the local TK staff & REGIONAL MANAGER (RM) with a screaming baby on the phone, it appears that no one CARES! We’ve either been met with impatience, disdain, or nonchalant attitudes having to call DAILY about the status of our vehicle. Shouldn’t TK staff & the RM have communicated with us daily?! It seems since the vehicle is not owned by TK staff & the RM, THEY are not being INCONVENIENCED & those attitudes are CLEARLY communicated as such! My husband & I both have physical limitations & this vehicle is the best mode of transportation for us! After this fiasco is over, we WILL be finding a different vehicle care place. In our observation had we been white, our vehicle would have been repaired expeditiously without issue!!! It is EXTREMELY hurtful & maddening to be treated in such a manner period!!!

Hi, not complaining just an observation. I left my Tire Kingdom store on Ponte Vedra Beach. The time was 4 o’clock on Saturday. The Salesman said I couldn’t leave my car because they are too busy and I need to make an appointment which I did. I have been going to that location for over 25 years or when you first opened. I am very loyal since there is a different tire store 100 yards away which I could easily go to. I have been a salesperson for over 40 years and ran retail stores. I never said I was too busy and made an effort to make everyone happy . I never turned away any business and if I had to work later or pick up product that’s what you do. Your company spends a fortune in inticing customers to come to your stores. There are never enough customers. Your business is going to change with the coming of electric cars. I wouldn’t be surprised if your company sees a decrease in volume. Gas is higher driving is less. If I was his supervisor I would have had a chat about customer service. I love your company and been very loyal. Just want you to know that no business is ever too busy.

On Friday June 3 2022, appointment was at 10:00 am. I took my 2014 Hyundai Elantra to get my oil change at the tire kingdom store #067, 100 W Hallandale Beach Blvd, Hallandale Beach FL. I was refused service because on my last oil change I bought synthetic oil and now for this oil change the front desk customer service representative told me that he cannot service my car if I don’t buy synthetic oil. He also stated that it’s in their policy. I went home and called them because I really couldn’t believe that I was refused service because I don’t want to buy synthetic oil, so when I called the representative that responded tried to manipulate me Over the phone. Now I need the corporate to do something because I’m not stopping here.

September 21st 2021 I noticed some shaking in my steering. I took it up to Tire Kingdom to have them balance, replace the drive side lower ball joint, and get an alignment. I lefted my truck there for 4 hrs. until I got a call saying the spacers on my wheels were wrong. So I went up there to get them and fix them to where they would work. I brought them back the next day for them to put them back on. I told one mechanic if he could check the back drum brakes while it was still up in the air. Of course they needed replacing so I asked he guy up front how much to replace the boots/ He told me $96.58. I told him go ahead and change them then. The total cost for everything would be $457.39 out the door…or at least that was what I was told. I got the call saying it was ready, So I went back to get it only to hear the mechanic whisper to the guy at the front desk it still shakes. After the mechanic walked away the guy at the front desk told me it still shakes a little but it’s much better than it was. That’s when I was hit with a $826.86 bill. Do what I asked? What happened to $457.39? That’s when he gave me the work order and I was beside myself. Even the brake fluid was at level when I first pulled it into the shop but they are going to charge me $87.99 for brake fluid? After paying this so called bill I took it to a shop down the street and found out my CV axle and driver side hub was shot. Something that can be found out by shaking the wheel up and down. Not to mention I saw old weights on the wheels so that told me Tire Kingdom didn’t balanced my wheels.

I am beyond pissed off, went to tire kingdom for warped rotors, which should have just been turned, but nope, talked into new brake pads and rotors, bought premium, lifetime waranty, 2 days later something wasnt right, the caliper was stuck wearing my pads to nothing, went back and now I need new calipers, pads, and told them to turn the new rotors, they never turned the rotors because 1 day later brakes are grinding bad, something wasnt right, brought it back, and they told me nothing with brakes, its my tires, they were new, so took me 3 weeks to get into my mechanic, and they put the WRONG ROTORS ON MY CAR, they are way too big, slipping all over the place, moving, wore the brake pads again to nothing in 3 weeks, brake dust everywhere, this is dangerous, it will shear the bolts off that hold the rims, going back again, 4th time for one simple brake job that has now coast me $1000, and if they do NOT put all the premium parts on and the right ones with NO charge, I will file with the BBB, my mechanic also stated they put the cheapest parts on my car, I paid for premium, this place sucks, ITS A TOTAL RIP OFF, AND AFTER I GET THIS ISSUE FIXED, IF I GET IT FIXED, BECAUSE IM SURE THEY WILL THROW EVERY EXCUSE IN THE BOOK AT ME TOMORROW, AND I AM SUPER WARY OF GOING THERE TO HAVE THEM EVEN DO THE BRAKES FOR THE 3RD TIME!!!!! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO A TIRE KINGDOM EVER!

Second bad experience at Tire Kingdom in 2 days. The first bad experience was my fault. For some crazy reason I thought I could buy and have a new tire put on in the same day. The second was Tire Kingdom’s fault. I made an appointment online for 10:30am September 29 2021. Arrived at my appointment on time and was informed that it word be close to 3pm at the earliest I would be seen. That’s 4 1/2 house after my scheduled appointment. I ask why make an appointment if it’s going to take 4 or more hours. The employees said that the appointment just guarantees I will be seen the same day as my appointment. How ridiculous is that. Heading to Yelp to leave my opinion. Not even sure how in the world you can run a business this way. Thanks for wasting my time. Your management might want to look up the definition of appointment. Retain employees. Just my personal opinion. Cheryl

A week later, and I am still waiting for the windshield to be sorted out and replaced. No one seems to be able to provide details on when and where the replacement will occur.

My name is Raymond Plata Fernandez,

On 7/08/21 I took my 2020 Honda Accord Sport car to Tire Kingdom 17203 PINES BLVD, Pembroke pines to have a flat tire fixed. After being there for almost 2 hours, they returned the car as being fixed.

I paid the $32.74 charged for the service. I drove away for like a mile or so, and had to return because the low air warning light came back up. There, one of the guys said that I had to drive the car further for the light to go off. I said that I already had done that. so, one of guys re-set the light and I drove away. On the way home the light came back on again.

Since I have an inflator I checked the tire and put more air and re-set the TPS warning light. I left the car alone started to drive the Mercedes Benz. My wife Antonia Plata took the car back the warning light will not go off, and explained the situation. After being there more than 2 hours they returned the car and the guy that took the car out of the shop, told her that the tire could not be fixed because the guy who previously worked on the car caused damage to the tire and re-patching the tire would be impossible because the patch will not hold. In that conversation the employee said that at least they refund the money that I paid for the service. Literally I paid TK to destroy my tire! The tire only had more or less 2785 miles on it.

They put the temporary tire on the car because the tire was not holding any aire, as a result of the mishandling of the the tire. It was only one nail on the top of the thread!

The guy at the front desk denied any responsibility and refused to give a refund. The only way was to buy a tire from them for more than $200 in order for me to get a credit and this is without balancing the tire and taxes, and other things that they wish to add to the invoice.

Today I got the tire out the trunk and put air on it. The tire is not holding any air as the air coming out from the same spot where they nail was, is practically the same that I’m putting in. Even-though I could hear it and feel it, I put water over the hole and took pictures of the air/water coming out.

I don’t think is fair that they destroyed my tire and not pay for it. They should pay for the damage inflicted to the tire. My wife spoke to an employee named Alex, whom I think works at the Corporate office and he is taking side with the store.

On 7/22/21, I went to SAMs to have the damaged tire replaced. The technician told me that the tire was damaged because of the improper job done at Tire Kingdom. I took pictures of the tire and the scratches done inside of the wheel because of the improper use of equipment utilized to take the tire off. I’m waiting for the store to respond, and I kept the tire just in case I decide to go further and get my attorney involved or even complaint to the Florida State Attorney General. Tire Kingdom should pay for the damaged tire as is only fair as they damaged my property!

And according to one of the employee in the shop, he could fix it because the the guy who treat the tire first, over scrapped the tire and another patch will not hold. They denied any responsibility and, offered only refund if I would buy a tire from them. Calling customer services did not help, basically because it was my word against them.

I have been a tire kingdom customer for over 20 years. During that time all my family’s cars have been serviced by Tire Kingdom. During that time I have purchased over 15 sets of tires. Im a good customer who moved to NSB and started service at the local store. Im not complaining about other stores just this one. I took the car to a A/C expert showed him the past bills from tire kingdom NSB and he stated “YOU ARE GETTING RIPED OFF”

It’s only gotten worse, negative motivation and scare tactics seem to be they way they want to operate or “ if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.” And right now the monkeys are jumping ship quick !

Today my wife had an appointment at 11am for an oil change. An hour later she was still waiting on the oil change a few customers can in and departed while she was still waiting. She spoke with the customer service people and they did nothing as it was noon when she departed with out the oil change. They was someone in the back office and that person never came out of the office. All the time I have been in this store it was always the manager which never came out of the office during my past visits. Out of the Tire Kingdoms this is the worst location here in Port Saint Lucie. Now other times during my many visits to this store I have seen them help the men faster then a female, maybe that was the problem as this was my wife who brought her truck in. That is just my observation during the many times of my visits.

Got caught in a bait and switch. Went in for a oil change/ Got talked into a wheel alignment also. Price on line was 19.99. But wanted it done immediate so I agreed to 27.99. Now I agreed to a price of 89.99 for the wheel alignment. I ask him if that was the total price. Re-affirmed it was except sales tax (which is at 7%) While waiting in the waiting room he came in and said that I needed rear brakes, only front was good. said to me and assured me it would cost $73.99. First I said no, do it later, but then said the total is only 73.99 I will bit the cost and let them do it for that price. since he was already working on it, so my total bill is suppose would be $ 191.97 plus 7% tax. Within in Minutes he said that the car was done and gave me a bill for $ 365.89 . All kind of add on that I told him if you told me that you were going to charge me that much I would have not even stooped in hear, I did not authorize nor sigh anything except the oil and wheel alignment. I ask him why the oil price was higher than he told me, and response was that a Nissan Altama takes 4.6 quarts. plus labor, plus shop fees, plus $120 labor more for the brakes pads. Plus parts. I protested the total bill, as it was not what he told and promised it would be no higher. I could not get the car back unless I paid in full, I had no choice. Bait and switch. Promised one final price and then charge me another all made up new fees, nothing to do with the vehicle itlelf.

In addition The only reason I agreed to do the brakes after I told Is because when I told him just leave them I do it later, is he promised it would only cost $73 He already on the lift and started to work on the brakes. I knew it was a little high just to replace pads only, I reluctantly gave in and let him do the rear brakes since it was almost done.

He then said he had to go outside for a moment. I thought nothing of this and when he came back in he said that he could not do the oil change because he had just contacted his parts supplier NAPA AUTO PARTS and was told that they did not have the filter for my car in stock and therefore it would be some time before Tire kingdom would get the part into the NAPA warehouse/store at 1400 S. Rio Grande Ave. Orlando. The NAPA employee said that there were three specific oil filters for my specific automobile. What he said next totally contradicted what the Tire Kingdom employee had told me a day earlier. He said that he had those filters IN STOCK at his store and that his store supplies the Tire Kingdom on S. Orange Ave, and I had not even mentioned what store had said you don’t have the products in stock. But what the employee suggested to me next was surprising to say the least. He said Mr. Halstead, “there is a Jiffy Lube on Michigan St, why don’t your car there for the oil change?” I was somewhat taken aback, because not many vendors send potential customers to the competition. as this man did. Well today, I I went to Jiffy Lube and had the oil change done at a cost of $133.00. I am based on how I was treated at Tire Kingdom, I won’t be going back

2 months ago I paid for an alignment. It was presentented as 6 mo. unlimited (and I was told about the one time charge, 1 year umlimited, and a couple other deals). I knew I would be having more front end work done on my truck so I paid for the 6 month unlimited. I’m back, 2 months later, for my tires to be balanced and another alignment. I was just told my 6 month alignment is only a 1 time alignment with a 6 month warranty if something happens that was tire kingdom error. I told the guy, that if it were presented to me that way…I would have made an informed decision to purchase the one year (truly unlimited) warranty instead. He said he could “give me a deal” if I wanted to purchase another one. I said no, and that I wont be back.

He told me that I got the 1 yr unlimited in 2017 and “got my money’s worth”. I let him now that that has no bearings on the current 2019 situation and if anything, it proves that I prefer unlimited and not one time alignments.

***UPDATE*** They cracked the plate cover that goes over the lug nuts on my rims by using a impact gun to tighten the screw on a plastic piece. The employee came out to the waiting area holding the pieces together, telling me that it was just cracked but they were afraid to put it on because it might go flying off. When I got in my car to leave and looked at it… it was actually broken off not cracked. Liars. It was fine when I brought it in.

*** I was on I4 ,a couple days later, heading home to Lakeland… and it sounded like a bullet hit under my tire then under my truck. I thought I hit something on the road and kept going. A few seconds later, I heard it again and quickly looked in my rearview.. didn’t see anything.. But my truck started to shake when I got over 60 miles an hour, then I knew exactly what it was. The weights they put on the rim to balance the tire cane off (2 of them). Thank God it was a Sunday and the roads weren’t too busy because that could have been like a bullet going through somebody’s windshield.

I had an issue last time with this 16th st. Location, where my battery went dead from them having the key turned forward during the alignment. They jumped it and recommended a new battery because I “must have a bad cell”. I declined and left to meet friends at Cheddars for dinner. When I was leaving the restaurant, my truck would not start (no power at all). My friend’s husband went to give me a jump and noticed the connector was very loose. He tightened it, and my truck started right up…without a jump.

I went to the Tire Kingdom by Tyrone mall in 2017 for the one year alignment and tire rotation. They ended up bending a lug nut. They apologized and the manager left to buy me new lug nuts. He gave them to me fir free and apologized. I had to take it to a shop and have another lug nut welded to the bent lug nut to have it removed.

There’s too much competition out there to deal with inadequacy. I’ve given Tire Kingdom too many chances out of loyalty (my dad owned a car lot and did a lot of business with them before he retired 10 years ago).

I took. My car in crank no start. Manager took me was very nice. But said it was just some valve and would cost about $300.00 . Then came back saying no water in radiator , il milky need other valve. $1000.00. I told him we e mptied the radiator because it overheated. He aaid because the valve. I told him we had been checking the oil very closely closely even before coming. It wasnt milky. Said I couldnt pay $1000.00. One door wouldn’t open they tried to get in and broke the handle off. I took it to the dealer. They said the gasket to keep the oil from from leaking was missing. So oil was coming from the engine. They should have put it back and didn’t. They also broke off a spark.plug wire in the spark plug section I saw this with my own eyes. They did all of this…..no repairs. They should have left it how they got it at least, and they didn’t. My brother does vehicle work so I am under that hood ALOT with him. They left items unhooked from the engine and everthing. I was there when the tow truck delivered it and it wasnt like that when we took it in. So sad because they had repaired a starter for me about a month back and did a great job THEN!! I need my items replaced, and my door repaired.

Apparently, I am adding to a long list of unsatisfied customers. My husband and I had 4 new tires put on his truck for a little over $1,200, this was done about 6 months ago. While driving my husband says “something is wrong with the front tires” . We took it to the store we purchased the tires and was told the front tire was off balance. The attempted to put a the HUGH weight on the rim of the tire. It did not help, so the second time they said we needed suspension control arm and control arm R&R, RWD lower one ???. They removed the weight which resulted in a bent rim. We took the truck to our mechanic and stated ” there is nothing wrong with your control arms. They charged us 46.50 to change out a tire was bad to begin with. We HAD a credit card with your company and put this on it. But be advised we will make sure we would never recommend your company to anyone. We feel this charge should be removed from our account. Please advise.

I took my wife’s kia optima to your umerton rd. largo,fl. location for just a oil change .This car has less than 30,000 miles on it. Being a Goodyear Store Manager many years ago, I was prepairing myself for being told how bad everything was. I was told by Wayne (service mgr. ) that my rotors were rusting away & I needed new pads.Pads still had more than 50 % left. Have you ever heard of rotors rusting away. Now I just saw in the driveway oil .I am so pissed, if I don’t get satisfaction, I will turn you in to BBB , & all social media. Bill White 727-735-XXXX

I went to tire kingdom today 8/3/2019 to get an oil change. My vehicle is 2013 GMC Terrain Denali. I bought it new and it still looks like its new. Everything was fine on my vehicle. After waiting several hours, I got up to ask how much longer it would be before my vehicle was ready only to find out that it had been ready and noone came to tell me so that I could leave.
I went outside to get into my vehicle and when I opened the drivers side door I kept thunking like it was caught on something. I kept opening and closing it and finally noticed that the panel had been dented in so the door could not open properly without thunking because it was hitting the dented panel. I was pissed because I know it was not like that when I drove in there and parked.
I went and got the manager and he in turn got the worker who worked on my vehicle and they both tried to tell me, well the lifters go under the center of the car so there is no way that this could have happened in their shop. BUT, oh yes, it did happen in their shop. Someone hit my car on something as they drove it in or someone put the lifters in the wrong place before they realized they were in the wrong place. There is no other explanation.
My husband called and they want me to bring my car back so that the higher manager can see it on Monday 8/5/2019. On my way home I stopped at my church and showed everyone what had happened to my car not knowing that I would hear so many horror stories about that same tire kingdom that sits on the corner of 192 (Vine Street) and Central. Then I come online to this website and there are so many more horror stories.
I use to like tire kingdom and had taken all of my previous vehicles there. I’m going to take my car in for the manager to see and if it is not resolved, I will never ever use tire kingdom again. If the corporate offices cannot see that the people at this particular tire kingdom are destroying people’s cars then there is a much larger problem with tire kingdom.
I am no longer angry, but will wait to see what happens. If nothing happens like in the reviews I just read, I will turn this over to the news people so that they can take a look at what is going on at this tire kingdom. Thank you very much for your attention to this situation. My name and contact information is attached to this review of my horrible experience with tire kingdom.

    Mr. Krcelic-

I have been a long time client of Tire Kingdom and recently had an unfortunate experience that is not getting resolved.

Unfortunately a technician failed to put on an oil filter correctly on my vehicle and It drained all the oil and ruined my engine. There was/is no argument from anyone at TK that they made a mistake. The issue is with the 3rd party adjuster not responding or returning with a reasonable settlement. Sedgwick… Renee Rogers. It has been a week since she has reached out to me to attempts communication and ultimately a better offer. I have been without a vehicle for 18 days, I have now consulted with an attorney because Sedgwick is trying to settle with a used replacement motor. I will not accept this and have consulted with an attorney. If this is not rectified soon I will never use your company again, and will bad mouth to everyone that will listen. Your company made a mistake, man up and replace the motor as your company failed the Customer and could not thread an oil filter on correctly! What good is TK if you can not properly change someone’s oil in their car? This is a very disappointing situation.

I had a flat tire and went to the NTB 5/26/19 9 am. I was first to arrive. The manager Andre drove my van on the lift, removed my tire, then told me my spare did not fit. The spare is from the original set. I was then told I had to wait until another time person arrived, who was late to work. A new tire was mounted. As soon as I inspected my van, I discovered the running boards were damaged on each side. Andre said I have to get and estimate and return to the store. I asked him to do document and send a copy of the pictures. He refused and said I have to bring the estimate.

Took the Kia in to have tires rotated for free. Walked out with a $577 bill–shocks and 3 year alignment warranty. My son said, “Hey Mom, why didn’t you use your car warranty for the shocks, it would have been free.” Called Kia and they said yes, it is covered for free up to 60,000. I am now rather surprised your sales associate failed to mention the possibility of Kia warranty being available. I’ve serviced enough vehicles over the years to know that mechanics, car associates, etc. are familiar with dealership warranties and they have worked with me to use dealership warranties to keep car expenses down. Told TK sales rep to give me two free tires for the Kia and the silly man refused. We will now be taking our 5 vehicles that TK used to service up the road to another tire shop.

Do you train your salesmen and managers in how to upsell and rip off customers?
Fort Myers store, Cleveland Ave, Castro & Westley.
We will skip the story about three bad tires out of four and the horrible inability to balance tires. Total of four visits, over 14 hours spent in the store. All for one set of new tires.
First, making an “appointment” is ridiculous. Each visit, just for tires, has been 2-1/2 hours. Minimum. For a business that specializes in tires, you must be losing money daily due to the slowest, untrained technicians ever. Oh but I did witness 2 Enterprise vehicles get taken care of while my track sat unattended on the lift. I suppose your fleet accounts take priority over walk-in customers. Thanks for that.
Secondly, the manager completely failed in reading his customer before trying to upsell me. I had already been waiting for two hours when Castro presented me with a quote. I did not ask for a quote, or an inspection of any type. $3,800. He said my entire front end was worn, would need all new upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, said my rack and pinion had a severe leak and had to be replaced. All this work would need to be done in order for him to guarantee proper alignment. Wow. I had just come from taking my truck to a mechanic friend, had it on the lift, and had inspected the entire suspension, steering, seals, bearings, etc.
As soon as i got my truck back, headed straight back to my mechanic. We saw the dripping power steering fluid, it was coming from the pump line. There were fresh marks all around the clamp and hose fitting. We re-seated the hose, and looky there, no leaks. You tell me what you think really happened. Because I, and the real mechanic, believe that one of your technicians purposely altered the condition of my vehicle in order to boost the store sales. No loose tie rods, bushings, or joints were verified as well.
Lastly, $124.99 per hour for labor? In this area? No one else is that much, not even the dealer.
Give me a day and check BBB, Facebook, Twitter, Google, all social media. I will copy/paste, use the same credentials, and help other buyers beware.
This is beyond disappointment, disgust, or even “I’ll never come back”. No, this was some extremely shady business practicing. And from the look of all the other pissed off reviews, how many others have been ripped off? Class action anyone?

Last weekend I took my son’s car-to get new tires. First they called us to oick up and the alignment wasnt done . They had just changed the oul sovwe waited. Second the tires were lose we had to tighten them up and we were missing lug nuts and 3 -air valve caps when we werent when we brought it in and they were new tires. Also the front headlight fell off on the way home. My son went back to ask and they told him they would call him back so far no phone call. This is a safety hazzard . How can they be so sloppy. They were not always like this but in the last year service has gone down and its a real shame since we have been bringing our vehicles there for years but no more if this is how we will get treated . If you gave kids you know how much we worry about them. This is not right either morally or as a business practice. The store in question is the one at Saint Cloud,Fl. Myname and my kids name are Yasmina and Daniel Garcia

My experience with Tire Kingdom is horrendous. If I ever get my car back in running condition, I will never do business with them again. Very inept. First of all, you need to hire more workers and they need training in customer service. Next, they actually need to be knowledgeable in car repair. That means more than a piece of paper that says they had a class in mechanics. I have paid $866, that I can ill afford, and still the car is not repaired. This has been a saga going on since December 6, 2017. Currently, I am 3 days without my car. Is there anyone in the corporate office who cares about the customer’s welfare in doing business with Tire Kingdom?

On 11/25/17 I took my car to Tire Kingdom on 441 in Eustis, FL for an alignment. I asked the Chris to check the tires before aligning because I did not want to waste money. Well after the alignment my car began to pull to the left and it shook when putting on brakes. On 12/2/17 I took my car in for an oil change and asked for the tires to be checked again and the tires were rotated. Now my car was pulling to the left side and shook at slow and fast speeds. I called Chris and explained the problem with my car again. Chris thought I needed to balance my tires. I told him to have the tires checked before balancing because I did not want to waste money. Today Chris tells me my tires are bad and I needed four new tires.

I stop by Tire Plus in Eustis, FL and they explained my tires should have checked prior to the alignment and Tire Kingdom wanted to make $$$. I bought four tires from Pep Boys today with lifetime balancing and alignment.

Tire Kingdom charged $120 something for the alignment. I was cheated out of this money. After giving them by business for more than six years, I am done. Chris explained they never check tires before alignment. I am amazed! Never thought this business was in the business of cheating customers out of money.

I went to the Tirekingdom off of Sample road in pompano beach to get a new tire. I was told that I needed to shocks for my car. I figured since I hadn’t changed my shocks since owning my car, I would have this preventive maintenance done. After 6 hours of waiting and 800 dollars later I left with my car. About 3 weeks late my car was making a weird noise. So I make an appointment at the same tirekingdom and come in. After an hour past my appointment time, they see my car only to tell me that my car can’t be worked on because there is no mechanic here, but to come in anytime during the week and we will fix your car. Next day I take off early from work to go get my car fixed. I made an appointment and came in, only to be told that they don’t have the part for my car, and I will have to come in the next morning at 8am for them to fix it. I am now back at the tirekingdom for the third straight day waiting for my car to be fixed. Last time I ever come here.

I called Fire Kingdom in Seffner, TO on Tuesday Oct 17th and inquired about a replacement wiped arm. I was told they could get one and replace it same day. Cost was quoted at $172. When I arrived I was told it had to be ordered and it would be two days to arrive. Ok, I accepted that. Thursday morning (today), I called at 2:15 pm to inquire when my vehicle would be ready as I had not heard from anyone. I was told it was being worked on at that time and i would be called when it was done. I went to the location about 3:10 on or so and it was sitting in the back lot and still not done. I was aggravated and said so and was complaining that the person I spoke to on the phone evidently lied when he said it was being worked on at that time. Yes, I complained more as no one even came to talk to me. Then the person at the counter me said he was the one who i had spoken to and that he never said it was being worked on and berated me for complaining. Additionally I was told that the wiper arm was over $100 which was more than half the total cost. The service rep told me they could bring the car around and I could take it elsewhere. I took my vehicle and left. I called Brandon Ford and bought the wiper arm for $32. Not only was K treated badly, I was being ripped off TOO! Never have I been disrespected as I was at this business. I am appalled by the way i was treated, including the extremely over-inflated cost I was going to be charged, NOT including labor and installation.

Around March 2017 I had an appointment with Tire Kingdom at the Seminole location in Seminole Fl. for a simple 0il chg. Upon completion of my Oil change I was told that my vehicle needed Shocks, Struts, and One boot replaced because it was rip and leaking. I was giving an estimate of over 1000.00. I was very concern and being very in tune with my car I took my car for a second Opinion. I was told there was nothing wrong with my car. My Vehicle’s Boot was not leaking and the car did not need shocks or struts. I had recommended Tire Kingdom to many of my friend because I thought they were honest and reputable people. Just last week on Sat Oct 7 2017. My friend took her 2013 Tacoma pre runner in for an Alignment this Vehicle has less then 50,000 Miles. She too was told that her truck needed Shocks, and struts. My friend took her car for a second Opinion and was told that her Vehicle was in great shape, it did not need those repairs. I want to let the PUBLIC Know that people should not allow anyone to rip them off. Please know you Vehicle, get a second opinion and avoid places like these that want to rip you off. How Sad. I will be reporting Tire Kingdom to the Better Business Bureau.

I recently had a 11:00 am appointment in your Titusville store located at 3550 S washington Ave. Upon arrival at 10:45 am I was greeted by a less than friendly counter person I stated that I had made an appointment online for a front end alignment, he proceeded to check me in on the computer and stated he needed to get my vehicle information and he would be right back. After watching him walk to my vehicle and get my information he proceeded back into the bay area and was gone for 10 or 15 minutes leaving me waiting. He then came back and told me it would be an hour and a half or two hours till it was complete, I at this time tried to insert something into the conversation and was told if I would be quiet and let him finish talking, I was taken aback by this and left my vehicle for service. Upon picking up my vehicle and driving down US 1 I noticed the steering wheel XXXXed to the left and the vehicle still pulling to the left so I returned and they again attempted to fix my vehicle causing me to wait another 45 minutes. The alignment still isn’t correct , not to mention the service technician drove my vehicle like it was a race car. I would like to be contacted about this matter and the matter resolved.
